The Green Agenda meets The Energy Crisis (just in time for COP 26)

Some great Green plans are starting to come undone and it’s not even winter yet

But it is just in time for a reality check on COP26.

Europe’s energy crunch is continuing, as gas storage volumes have shrunk to 10-year lows. In the UK 12 energy companies have collapsed this year leaving 2.2 million customers stranded without an electricity provider.  Things are so bad the Dutch government is thinking of reopening the Groningen gas field, Europe’s largest onshore gas field. This is a big backward step for the transition to magical energy. “Until recently, the plan was that Groningen would be closed completely by 2023, ending the large-scale gas production and export by the Netherlands with a bang.”

There are even thoughts of switching back to coal. Drax is suddenly talking about keeping some coal plants running a bit longer, something that would have been blasphemy a few months ago.

Across Europe and Asia — the energy crisis runs amok

No one can blame Brexit for food shortages in Brussels:

But people can blame Green policies for energy pain

Kate Andrews: Britain’s weak energy security puts net zero in doubt
The Daily Telegraph, 29 April 2021

Unlike the unexpected, airborne virus that swept across the world at rapid pace, there is virtually no excuse for the Government not being fully prepared for what we’re experiencing now.

Britons are soon to pay the price. Even in the better-case scenarios, where gas supplies are ramped up and demand from Asian markets (who are paying big bucks to secure first priority) levels out, energy bills are now all but guaranteed to spike in the coming months.

For all the lofty promises made by successive governments to protect consumers from rising costs, it’s now being unveiled – in a financially painful way – just how empty such promises are, in the face of uncontrollable global pressures.

Yes, UK residents will be joining people worldwide paying higher energy prices. But the problem will be especially acute here, where gas reserves are merely several days’ worth, making Britain especially vulnerable in the case of shortages.

The decision not to push on with lower-carbon shale gas alternatives means looming fears of a 1970s-style energy crisis; whereas countries like the US are, for now anyway, fairly confident they can handle the spike.

Perhaps it’s dawning on officials why the Kremlin supported anti-fracking protests in Europe. Undermining the imperfect but far cleaner form of energy through disinformation campaigns wasn’t just about keeping its hold on gas supply (which it’s using to its advantage now, to try to push through Nord Stream 2). It was also a game of stability and security – one which the UK seems to be losing.

Meanwhile the UK Government is thinking of slapping a tax on people using gas to heat their homes in cold weather supposedly to save them from some slightly hotter days in 2095.  As John Constable says at the GWPF, the proposed heating tax to fund Net Zero is a social and political disaster in the making. Let’s take high gas prices and make them even higher?

Meanwhile in China two thirds of the nation is rationing power

Right now in China there are reports that in some areas the lifts are not working, heating is off, and traffic lights are out.  Chinese thermal coal futures have more than doubled in price in the past year and there are 242 container ships waiting for a spot to berth in Chinese ports.

China braces for a chilly winter as its home-grown energy crisis intensifies
The Sydney Morning Herald, 30 September 2021

Two-thirds of China’s provinces are now rationing power. Factories have closed or have reduced production. Households are going dark and street lights have been turned off. Demand for candles has soared. The impact on food processors is creating a threat to food security.

Heading into a winter that is typically extremely cold, China is facing threats to its people and its economy …

Nearly 60 per cent of China’s power is generated by coal, with about 90 per cent of that coal sourced domestically.

It was coal that powered China’s remarkable acceleration in economic growth over the past half century, which helped turn it into the world’s manufacturing base and which fuelled the decades-long construction and property booms at the heart of its domestic economy.

There is a supply chain crisis brewing too. Look at all those hockeysticks?

Oct 1 Strike! Teachers, police, heathcare, firefighters, miners, airline staff, truckies, to protest mandatory vaccination

Coercion is not Consent!

Censorship is not consent either.

Vaccine mandate strike in Australia, Friday October 1. By Rod Lampard.

A united cross-section of Australian industries is set to strike on October 1 over State-sanctioned, and unconstitutional medical conscription.

While the Australian federal government maintains COVID-19 vaccines are NOT mandatory, in an apparent “workaround” section 51 of the Australian constitution, the Morrison government has enabled the states to make COVID-19 vaccinations compulsory.

The 16,000-member strong Facebook group, Australian Education United said:

All work sectors are uniting against mandatory vaccines & covid passports. On October 1 we RECLAIM THE LINE that was taken from us. Freedom, liberty, and our right to choose if we take the vaccine.

With Sky News Australia being the exception, the strike is conspicuously absent from most legacy media organisations. Strange, considering the strike is set to go national and is of national importance.

If this was a Climate Extinction rally, or a BLM Strike, would the media say nothing? As Ed Driscoll would say, Just think of the media as Democratic Party operatives with bylines, and it all makes sense.

Sky News’ Dominica Funnell reported: “Organised by National Education United (NEU), the #ReclaimTheLine protest looks to support teachers, police, paramedics, aged care workers, health care workers, firefighters, construction workers, airline staff, miners and truck drivers.”

According to Funnell, “industry workers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Byron Bay, Newcastle, and Port Macquarie are planning to participate.”

Quoting from Sky News, National Education United’s Christian Marchegiani said, “the strike was designed to provide support for anyone who faces losing their job due to sweeping vaccine mandates.”

A sit-down by 50 professionals in a Melbourne park was silently quashed this week:

[A] peaceful sit-down protest in a Melbourne Park this week was intimidated and then dispersed by busloads of heavily armed police, backed by helicopter surveillance.

Avi Yemini of Rebel News explained, “the group of [healthcare workers] were socially distanced, wearing masks, and fully vaccinated, surround by thousands picnicking at the same park, in the same spot.”

These facts did not deter the heavy police presence.

“No jab no job” deadlines are looming for many.

Yemini said a nurse who works at the vaccination hubs [told him], “Ninety per cent of the people I’m vaccinating are there because they want their freedoms back… that’s not the right reason to make a medical decision.”

Press release here.

The states can “get away” with unconstitutional acts that the federal government can’t do

Getting states to force vaccination appears to be the same loophole that worked against farmers years ago. The commonwealth government would have to pay compensation if it made legislation that took away a farmer’s right to use their own land.
The commonwealth could not prohibit farmers from clearing “regrowth” that sequestered carbon. Instead most states brought in legislation to the same effect. No compensation payable. Read the Peter Spencer story here.

UPDATE: The numbers in the USA are astonishing

vaccination protest

70,000 workers willing to quit?

UPDATE:

To be vaxed, while allowed to say no,
Leave refusers with nowhere to go,
No work and no pay,
No travel, no play,
But it’s still not mandated you know.

Decertify the Arizona Election: A million files deleted, 280,000 ballot images corrupted

US FlagPatrick Byrne sums up the latest in the Maricopa County Audit.  We knew it was bad, but it’s like the election was run by the underage mafia branch of activist dropouts. The leadership of the most powerful nation in the world depended on it, but no one had updated the software in two years, a twelve year old must have been in charge of printing and a million files, a whole million, were deleted the day before the subpoena deadline. The day before.

A quarter of a million early votes have no custody trail, just magically appearing. And while most people could sign their names before the election, everyone who was illiterate in Maricopa found a way to vote in bins and buckets that would only be counted after election day. What were the odds?

The printing calibration was off, the ink bled through the paper, which was suspiciously low quality, and the votes were certified before people voted, indeed before the ballot papers were even printed.  It’s like someone committed a crime, but didn’t even try to cover it up.

Patrick Byrne:

The Maricopa election should not have been certified, and the reported results are not reliable

  • The day before complying with the subpoena, Maricopa deleted > 1 million election files (each deletion carries 1 federal and state charge);
  • What remained did not reconcile;
  • 255,326 Early Votes have no provenance (they just “appeared”) and another 284,412 have digital images that have been corrupted (with no viable explanation for how that might have happened);
  • There are at least 57,734 ballots with sourcing that is illegal (they were mailed to someone who actually moved out of state 10 years ago, but were voted anyway);
  • There are over 17,000 ballots which are simply photocopies (which is unambiguously illegal);
  • There were 15 other felonies whose impact on the ballots is impossible to quantify;
  • If we turn a blind eye to all that, Biden wins by 10,800 votes.

Centipede Nation

..Ben Cotton described massive IT and Cybersecurity Issues.

  1. 865 directories and 85,673 Election related files were deleted between 10/20/2020 and 11/05/2020.
  2. 1,064,746 Election related files were deleted. Many of them contained scanned ballots.
  3. The files were deleted the DAY before the audit began.
  4. Cyber ninjas have screenshots of the people who deleted logs. Unnamed suspects illegally accessed the computer system just before the audit. They were identified by video capture recorded at the time of the breach.
  5. 284,412 Ballot images on the EMS were corrupt or missing.
  6. After election day, 95% of signatures are illegible (versus 5% in early voting).

Votes were “Certified and Approved” before they were even printed.

Note the words going under the arrow….?

US election ballot papers printed "pre approved"

Who needs voters when you have a printing press…?

Ivermectin is so safe doctors fed it to primary school age children to treat lice in Canberra

Boy at school./

Photo: Mihail_fotodeti

Back in 2010 some 700 children were enrolled in a trial to control head lice in two schools in Canberra. The most lice infected school not only gave ivermectin doses to 93% of all the children, but sent the drug home for their brothers and sisters too.  The exact details are behind a paywall, but similar trials like this use oral doses of 200 micrograms per kilogram, which is, as it happens, the same dose the FLCCC recommends for adults to use for prevention against Covid.

At the end of the school trial, six months later, lice infestations were down by 87% and “No adverse events were reported. ”

But wait, what about all the diarrhea, vomiting, seizures and coma that may have befallen all these poor children? Who would be so reckless as to hand out this drug hither-thither with just a “fact sheet”?!

This is, after all, what the experts at University of Sydney, one of our”top” universities, are saying about ivermectin in 2021:

Thinking of trying Ivermectin for COVID? Here’s what can happen with this controversial drug

Taking a scientific approach to misinformation about unproven and potentially dangerous covid ‘treatments’, Sydney experts explain that side-effects range from vomiting and diarrhoea to seizures and a coma.

This might be a clue:

What does it do to your body?

We know very little about what the drug does to humans, and the little we do know mostly comes from its use in animals.

Who were these fools, ignorant of 3.8 billion doses of ivermectin given to humans, plus a Nobel Prize, and the title “wonder drug”? They were Doctors of Pharmacology: Associate Nial Wheate, Professor Andrew McLachlan and Slade Matthews from the University of Sydney.  Researchers who apparently slavishly adopt FDA twitter campaigns, but don’t even know how to look up Wikipedia?

Associate Nial Wheate, Professor Andrew McLachlan and Slade Matthews from the University of Sydney.

The kind of experts you get on The Conversation where the article started.

The TGA know this drug is safe when prescribed by doctors, yet they won’t let doctors prescribe it?

Ivermectin has been used successfully in Australia, India, Brazil, and Mexico in clinical trials to reduce head lice. And it’s been used in India, Mexico, Peru, and Indonesia to save lives from Covid. The risk is low, and Australians want the right to discuss it with their doctor. If the TGA hasn’t reviewed some of the 65 studies on ivermectin against Covid, isn’t it about time it did?

Does the government serve the people or do the people serve the government?

Greens, Russia, Renewables industry forces UK government to “go Nuclear”

The irony — the renewables propaganda was so overdone that the EU and UK got caught with their pants down without enough stable fossil fuel powered electricity. European investors were so afraid gas and coal would be stranded assets that they stopped building reliable power generators. Russia supported the “anti-frack” movement in the West in order to sabotage competition, and now wants to squeeze a hot deal on its Big New Pipeline, so it has reduced the gas supply, so gas prices are headed for record highs and businesses are collapsing, food shortages are predicted.  In the short run coal is being reinstated — Drax is thinking of keeping coal plants running. But the only long term path out of the Green-Energy-Quicksand without breaking the sacred “anti-carbon-dioxide” jinx is with nuclear power.

So thus, the greedy power grab and profiteering by the renewables industry, the globalists, the Chinese, the Russians and the Greens may force out cheap coal in the long run, but accelerate the dawn of a new era of nuclear power.

Suddenly government love nuclear

Here come the Small Modular Reactors:

Dawning of Britain’s ‘new nuclear age’: Gas crisis prompts ministers to ‘change focus’ with Kwasi Kwarteng poised to approve 16 mini-reactors

Daily Mail

Rolls Royce, Nuclear Power, UK.

….

According to the Sunday Times, a consortium led by the engineering firm has secured the necessary £210million to get matching funding from the taxpayer.

A planned new generation of mini nuclear reactors could protect Britain from future energy crises.

Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng is poised to approve funding for British engineering giant Rolls-Royce to create a fleet of mini-reactors.

Ministers are understood to have adopted a ‘change of focus’ towards nuclear power amid the current crisis caused by rocketing global wholesale gas prices.

It comes amid news that Chinese investment in Britain’s next generation of nuclear power stations is set to be banned on security grounds.

Mini reactors, known as Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), generate around 450 megawatts of power – around a seventh of what a conventional power station such as Hinkley Point produces.

ADDENDUM:  Maybe Russia doesn’t have the gas to spare?

At least one commentator thinks there is more to it:

Bloomberg

[Ben] Luckock said he was skeptical that Russia, the biggest gas supplier to Europe, was intentionally tightening the market for political gain, suggesting that Moscow was already pumping as much gas as it could right now.  “It’s easy to say that’s politically motivated, but I think it’s simpler than that: Russia is facing maintenance in many gas fields, very low domestic inventories, substantially increased flows to Turkey, and Gazprom is struggling to increase production,” he said.

Luckock is head of Oil Trading at Trafigura Group.

Arizona audit shows it’s easy to cheat in a US election and the Democrats are happy with that

US Flag, Flying.Joe Biden officially won Arizona by about 10,000 votes, but 23,000 voters have moved, 10,000 potentially voted in multiple counties, 9,000 extra ballots appeared that were not officially sent. So there were at least four times as many dubious votes as Biden’s theoretical margin. Bigger and possibly quite a lot worse than this — was that the Election Management Database and files were deleted, subpoenaed equipment was withheld and some logs were not preserved. The chain of custody was broken and machines that weren’t meant to be connected to the internet, were connected. It’s not that the US doesn’t have free and fair elections, which it doesn’t, but that it’s not even trying.

No team that won 80 million real votes, and cared about public confidence would have made it so hard to audit, delayed for so long, and destroyed so much data.

The Democrat fog machine is shouting that the vote count shows Biden won “and by even more votes”. They appear to be hoping that if they say it loud enough and often enough people won’t notice the Biden won a crooked election.

The only thing we know for sure is that we’ll never know who the people of Arizona voted for.

Ignore the MSM: Here’s What the 2020 Maricopa County Election Audit Actually Says

Matt Margolis, PJ Media

The bottom line: The number of ballots impacted by discrepancies far exceeds Biden’s margin of victory in the state. Both sides of this debate will claim the report validates their position, but in truth, without proper vetting of the impacted ballots, we’ll never know if the election results were legitimate.

Why do these matter? Because, according to the state-certified results, Joe Biden barely won the state by a 10,457-vote margin. The tiny margin of victory in the state-certified results means that these discrepancies are very troubling. There were 42,727 impacted ballots ranked as “high” or “critical” severity—that’s four times the certified margin of victory. If you include “medium” severity discrepancies, there were 53,214 impacted ballots—more than five times the certified margin of victory. Overall, there were 57,734 impacted ballots.

These findings don’t prove fraud, but certainly demonstrate the potential for fraud. And these impacted ballots have not been vetted.

So, has Joe Biden’s victory been proven? Not in the least. The truth is, we’ll never know the truth about how many ballots were impacted. Of course, the mainstream media knows this, which is why, deep down in CNN’s report about the audit, it laments that the draft report “shows that Cyber Ninjas and their subcontractors are still seeking ways to cast doubt on the election,” pointing to the thousands of ballots flagged.

Right now, the Democrats could regain theoretically trust if they campaigned for Paper ballots, clean voter rolls, real observers and using electronic voting machines to make new reefs. The machines would at least be good for fish. Call them the Trench of Dominion, or Smartmatic Atoll.

The politicians that won’t do this are the ones that need the cheating.

If it’s not racist to insist on vaccine passport ID’s — which will punish black Americans more than any other group —  why is it racist to insist on voter ID?

Global warming saves 166,000 lives a year: UN says Stop That Now

In a surprise, mammals with a body temperature of 37 degrees Celsius do better in warmer weather

Who knew that global warming has saved 166,000 lives a year every year since 2000? Burn coal, save the world! Some countries are just not doing enough to help. Does your nation have a Net-100 Plan for 2050 to double CO2 emissions? It’s never too late to start. Countries that leave coal deposits undeveloped are not part of the solution.

Climate Change Saves More Lives Than You’d Think

Bjorn Lomborg, Wall Street Journal

… climate change has saved more lives from temperature-related deaths than it has taken. Heat deaths make up about 1% of global fatalities a year—almost 600,000 deaths—but cold kills eight times as many people, totaling 4.5 million deaths annually. As temperatures have risen since 2000, heat deaths have increased 0.21%, while cold deaths have dropped 0.51%. Today about 116,000 more people die from heat each year, but 283,000 fewer die from cold. Global warming now prevents more than 166,000 temperature-related fatalities annually.

Headlines predictably said “Heat Deaths Up 50%” since the year 2000. But Lomborg points out that most all of that rise was due to there being more old people:

Global warming does cause more heat deaths, but the editors’ statistic is deceptive. They say global heat deaths have gone up by 54% among old people in the past 20 years, but they fail to mention that the number of old people has risen by almost as much. Demographics drove most of the rise, not climate change.

The population of people over 65  increased from 423 m in the year 2000 to 729 million in 2020.  So the older demographic is 70% larger in the last twenty years.

From the paper — 5 million people die of heat or cold each year:

We found that there were 5,083,173 deaths per year associated with non-optimal temperatures, accounting for 9·43% of global deaths and equating to 74 temperature-related excess deaths per  100000 residents. Most excess deaths were linked to cold temperatures (8·52%), whereas fewer were linked to hot temperatures (0·91%).

Previous studies showed that the thing that saved people from heat death in the 20th Century wasairconditioners .

If we want to save the poor in Africa from dying of heat waves, the best thing we can do is help them get air conditioning and the cheap electricity to run it.

Facebook use fake Fact-checkers to block this information

Climate Depot posted this summary:

Bjorn Lomborg posted this on Facebook and it was blocked.

Bjorn Lomborg wrote this up in the New York Post in August. Some self appointed group called Climate Feedback, did some fact checking on things that Lomborg didn’t say, and found those imaginary things were “unsupported”. Facebook then used that to slap a “False Information” label on Lomborgs message saying “Checked by independent fact-checkers”.

Lomborg explains Climate Feedback actually make up the quote they attribute to him. By mis-paraphrasing him and putting two different sentences together, they invent an error that they can “fact check”.

The top and bottom halves of the “Claim” are part quote and part fabrication.

Who fact checks the fact-checkers? Certainly not Facebook, not the government and not the media. Facebook gets legal protection from the government but none of the responsibility or accountability that go with that. Big Government gives Facebook a free gift, and Facebook returns the favour. It’s a protection racket.

It’s lies for the climate now. Tell the world, teach the children.

This month China has spray painted on its green tan, just in time for the Glasgow Climate Beauty Contest.

China doesn’t want to win the Glascow Climate Beauty Contest. It just wants the other contestants to keep fighting for the booby prize. They win the trophy and lose the trade war.

Green paint for Chairman Mao

It’s Green paint for President Xi

China’s great green theatrical ploy fools the gullible Western leaders

Coal power is the cheapest source of electricity in the world and China controls most of it. Meanwhile it’s doing a smashing job of cheering on the other competitors as they take Coal Chastity Vows and run barefoot, naked and green into the quicksand pit of Energy Doom.

The UK and Europe are already thigh-deep, struggling with an energy shakedown of their own making. Yet China, with more coal power than the entire rest of the world combined, puts on the Green-cloak, beaming from Coal Mountain to tell us what sacrifices it will make.

This is the same China that built three times more coal power than the rest of the world did last year. The nation in 2020 that opened more new coal power than the rest of the world shut down.

China’s net construction of coal power capacity within the country grew by 29.8 gigawatts, essentially wiping out the gains of the rest of world, where net coal power capacity decreased by 17.2 gigawatts, according to the Centre.

— New York Times

So China makes a big show of shutting down foreign funding for coal plants. It’s not promising to shut actual coal plants, just to not fund even more overseas than it already has. And in any case, those foreign plants China is helping to build are but a tiny 8% of the size of it’s own gargantuan domestic power.

Domestically, China produces about 1,200 gigawatts of energy from coal, according to Greenpeace China. The coal power plants it has helped build abroad produce less than 100 gigawatts, the group said.

— New York Times

And who can forget, in 2017 China made a big show of cancelling more than 100 coal plants.  But in 2018, China was caught secretly building those same coal plants instead.  Since China lies, all these promises in the lead up to Glasgow are just the breadcrumb trail to CCP trade-war supremacy that China is hoping the West will suck up obediently.

As the GWPF points out, China is selling the solar and wind power the West is hobbling itself with. No nation can compete with Chinese cheap coal fired manufacturing and the bargain slave labor deal. The West congratulates itself on how cheap renewables have become without realizing the irony that the West couldn’t possibly use their own renewables to make the renewables to sell to themselves. Every nation with lots of wind and solar power also has the most expensive electricity on Earth.

GWPF spells out the game:

China plays its green card, promising to sell the world its wind and solar projects produced by cheap coal

1. By building up its coal-powered economy, [China] can continue to produce and export renewables much cheaper than most OECD nations. China will thus cement its role as the world’s foremost producer and exporter of renewable energy.

2. By ending support for building coal-fired power plants abroad it reduces the pressure on coal demand, improving China’s domestic coal market which is currently struggling with high coal prices.

3. By announcing this move, China is playing the green card in the run-up to COP26 in order to reduce Western pressure and kick the ball back into Joe Biden’s court.

If and when China stops adding coal power on domestically, it’s only because it has the fastest growing nuclear power fleet in the world and it was going to stop coal power anyway.

China, after all, is poised to be the largest global player in nuclear power as soon as 2030.

By the time the West realizes it was tricked out of coal power, it will have lost the nuclear race too.

No kids? Climate Change and Sustainability fears drive more young men than ever to get a vasectomy

Is there any better statement of the empty vacuum at the core of The West?

The greatest Civilization Earth has ever known has talked itself out of turning up for the future.

Why are so many young childless men getting the snip?

Artist, Marie Kroyer

By STEPHEN CORBY, The Australian

It takes a lot to rattle “The Ball Whisperer” [Dr Justin Low], as one of Australia’s most prolific vasectomists is known, yet he remembers being utterly taken aback the first time a young, childless man walked into his office and asked for the snip. “It was a shock. I do remember how I felt the first time a guy with no kids came to me, and it put me on the back foot,” Low recalls, still recoiling slightly. “I wasn’t prepared for it, I mean, not just as a doctor but as a lay person, there’s just this funny thing we’re brought up to think, doesn’t everyone want kids?”

Back when he started out at Marie Stopes Australia a decade ago, his job was very much about helping men who felt they’d had enough children, or possibly more than enough. But after that first childless man, there were a few more, then a lot, and today Low, whose Sydney clinic does about 50 procedures a week, says it’s not unusual for between a third and a half of his patients on any given day to be childless. And they’re getting younger; so many are in their twenties that his organisation now offers compulsory counselling to any childless man under the age of 30 who inquires about a vasectomy.

Some just don’t want to be fathers, but others feel climate dread and covid unease:

“Then there are the ones who say to me: ‘I just don’t want to bring children into a world like this,’ ” he says. “It’s about sustainability for them, it’s about climate change and the future of the planet, and if anything, Covid-19 and the pandemic has only reinforced that feeling, that dread, and we’ve had more and more guys coming in talking about that.

“I’ve also had people get very fired up about sustainability issues. They’ll say to me, ‘But doctor, surely you know, surely you’ve read the studies! The single best thing you can do for the planet is not to have a child.’

Humans can justify nearly anything they want in their own head. Rationalization, here we come:

Kain Harris says : People say it’s selfish not to have kids, to put yourself first, and that is part of my decision – I like being able to travel, to hang out with friends, to go out, and I don’t know how I would have the time to have a child. But I think it would be more selfish to have a child and then not give it your full attention.”

So how much is “the environment” the major fear, and how much is it just the excuse du jour?

David Archibald argues this has a lot more to do with the risk of getting women pregnant who then “gain” twenty percent of his income. Naturally, the EcoWorriers save up these stories as PR in time for signing climate-money-winning-documents, for example in Glasgow.

That said, there are men who won’t even save sperm “just in case” but say they plan to adopt or foster kids, which doesn’t sound much like a guy protecting his income:

When he suggests sperm banking to these men, just in case they change their mind, “they’ll tell me that if they do want to have kids down the line, they’ll just adopt or foster, because that’s better for the planet. “So many of these people I meet have that passionate commitment to the sustainability cause, they’re so determined and they’ve really thought it through. I’ve been impressed by that, but still, very surprised.”

Since the rise has been so recent, it may be more about the general malaise in Western Civilization:

Medicare figures show that more than 6500 men under 34 had the procedure in 2020-21, compared with 3970 in 2014-15.

Who knows, it might be a fashion accessory too:

Pecock tails.

by Dr. Mohammed Munshi

Some of these men may be doing this to impress women and show off their deep and sensitive credentials. Male peacocks display their glorious plumage to show that they’re so strong and healthy they can survive despite the handicap. A vasectomy-for-the-planet is the ultimate peacocks tail — the handicap to end all handicaps in the competition to prove they would be a great mate.

Paradoxically that supposed willingness to look after the planet and other people’s children would make him a bit of a chick magnet in some circles as the ideal caring future dad. What a conscience! What a giving kind of guy!

We’ve come full circle in evolution — evolving to the point where for some women, the ideal dad  is the man who can’t be one.

We are so evolved, we are devolving.

SARS-2 — When did Intelligence agencies know it was almost certainly a lab leak?

When did the national leaders figure out it was probably a leak from a Chinese bioweapon laboratory?

Ebola Virus, electron micrograph

by BernbaumJG

It makes all the difference. If we had known in January 2020, the virus could have been stopped so easily. The likely bioweapon could have been left in China — just by stopping the flights and instigating a two week rigid quarantine.

Think about the effect it would have had in January 2020 if people thought Covid was a man-made experiment. The public would have clamored to stop the planes. Borders would have gone up overnight. There would have been much less of the fatalistic acceptance that it was just another inevitable pandemic “like the flu” that people had to deal with. The suppression of the “lab leak” theory served the CCP and Anthony Fauci and co. It also served Tedros Adhanom, the head of the WHO who told the world to keep the border open on February 2. But so far that suppression has cost nearly five million lives, plus the mayhem, economic damage, long illnesses and debility.

Last night Sky News aired the documentary What Really Happened in Wuhan by Sharri Markson. We find out more about who knew what when, but not quite enough.

Donald Trump blames Anthony Fauci for staying silent over Wuhan laboratory funding

Sharri Markson, The Australian

As Mr Trump’s top medical adviser on the coronavirus, Dr Fauci was in his inner sanctum and present for every meeting on the virus as it started to spread globally. Mr Trump said Dr Fauci never once told him the Wuhan Institute of Virology was genetically manipulating coronaviruses.

Donald Trump on the first signs that trouble was afoot:

Alexis Carey, News.com

Mr Trump said one of the first clues of the looming disaster – and its links to the Wuhan lab – was after he “started hearing stories … that there were lots of body bags outside of the lab”. “I heard that a long time ago and if they did in fact have body bags, that was one little indication, wasn’t it?”

For John Ratcliffe, the administration’s former director of national intelligence, the giveaway was the CCP cover up:

“The Chinese communist party would not have shut down Wuhan. It would not have silenced doctors and scientists and journalists, and disappeared some of them,” he said, adding the intelligence community first became aware of the virus in late 2019.

Personally, it was the news that the Wuhan Lab was ordered to destroy all their lab samples on Jan 1st, 2020, which I learnt from The Epoch Times documentary in mid April 2020. A month later came the news of the bizarrely unlikely genetic evolution of SARS 2  —  which was a coverup “far too far“. It reeked as a lab creation.

Why did the viral database disappear on Sept 12?

This was before the lab leak, before the Military Games, and three months before the “official first case”?

Few are saying a lot about the database of 22,000 coronaviruses vanishing on Sept 12, 2019. A database that the CCP still has not shared.

Hypothetically, the Military Games in Wuhan  in mid-October would have looked like a handy superspreading event if someone was, perhaps, war-gaming scenarios for spreading germs ahead of the northern winter. If the lab leak in October was a sloppy accident that coincided with the Military Games, what are the odds that the database accidentally crashed the month before that? Maybe it did. Teams that are sloppy with viral code might be sloppy with computer code too and the WIV was certainly sloppy with their viruses. But how often do databases in Chinese agencies go missing?

While it all sounds quite suspicious, ponder that the coverup of the bizarre genetic evolution of SARS in late January 2020 was post hoc rushed and haphazard. If there was a plan to leak Covid, the Bat-woman of Wuhan herself wasn’t in it. If she was, she would have faked up the evolutionary history six months earlier and not messed up the ratio of meaningful and random mutations in the frantic race to invent RaTG13, the non-existent near relative of SARS-2 that she supposedly discovered in 2013  but forgot to mention until Jan 27th 2020.

But of course, if some other person or entity in China did leak the virus deliberately, they might not have included her in the planning. Or it could all have been an incompetent accident.

Ask yourself, if it was deliberate, would they really have released it just outside the lab that made it? You would think not, but supposing they wanted it to look like a lab-leak and they were not even going to bother hiding that, then that’s where it had to be released. If the same artificial virus, with all the genetic anomalies, appeared 500 km away from the lab, no one would be wondering if it was deliberate. We’d know.

The lab leak, the missing scientists, the cover-up

Bryant Hevesi, Sky News

On the September 12, 2019, the virus database at the Wuhan Institute of Virology was taken offline, and with it 22,000 coronavirus samples were gone.

That same day security was beefed up at the facility and a tender was issued to replace the air-conditioning system. There was later a communications blackout, with no cell-phone or signals activity.

Intelligence was received that three people working at the Wuhan Institute of Virology had fallen sick in October 2019, two months before the first official case was reported.

“What (former Secretary of State) Mike Pompeo and I put out is people became sick at the lab in October and with symptoms that became entirely consistent with what most people have experienced around the world from COVID-19,” Mr Ratcliffe said.

The Military Games in Wuhan ran from October 18th, 2019 for two weeks and athletes got a strange flu:

Miles Yu, former Principal China Advisor at the US State Department, said those athletes who returned from the Military Games had symptoms now known as coronavirus symptoms but no one was ever tested.

“All I know that people got sick, I believe the French often got sick, I believe they’re Germans, some Americans got sick too,” he said.

Intelligence agencies were aware in 2019 that something was wrong at the Military Games in Wuhan

James Morrow, Daily Telegraph

Markson also revealed that, by the second half of 2019, various spy agencies knew something was wrong.

“In late 2019 we have intelligence from both human intelligence sources and signals intelligence sources and other intelligence sources that were telling us that there was some sort of a problem in Wuhan,” Mr Ratcliffe said.

It was then that the Military World Games were being held in Wuhan, which may have become the first superspreader event.

A Chinese Whistleblower tried to warn the US of a mysterious virus in November 2019

A famous Chinese defector in the US heard on the vine that a dangerous virus was coming. He told a US politician, and a Chinese Human Rights Activist called Dimon Liu and a former CIA agent, but nothing came of it. US intelligence had other information in late 2019 but it did not “join the dots”.

Sharri Markson, The Australian

China’s most famous defector to America warned US intelligence agencies a coronavirus was spreading in Wuhan in November 2019 — six weeks before China admitted there was an outbreak.

Wei Jingsheng, the father of China’s democracy movement, reveals in the new book What Really Happened in Wuhan that he first heard of a new, mysterious virus at the time of the World Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019.

David Asher, the State Department official who spearheaded a taskforce into the origins of Covid-19, said the opportunity presented by Mr Wei’s warning was like “stopping 9/11 before it happened”.

Mr Asher said the US government had other crucial pieces of early-warning evidence in late 2019 but it failed to connect the dots. He said the US government first had intelligence about Wuhan Institute of Virology workers falling sick with Covid-like symptoms in late 2019 – a year before he discovered it during his investigation into the origins of the virus for the State Department.

In the Sky News documentary, Mr Asher said he was shocked when he found out “we actually could have had foreknowledge” of the coronavirus. “We could have known in November of 2019, that there was a disaster occurring inside Wuhan – inside their most important biological facilities related to coronavirus research,” he said.

“It was something absolutely tragic, traumatic and dramatic that was occurring and we could have reacted to it. The whole world could have been different. It would have been like stopping 9/11 before it happened.”

If the virus was roaming around the Military Games in October 2019, it fair to wonder why the pandemic didn’t take off until January 2020. It’s possible the early variant was slightly less infectious and still needed some mutation to launch at full speed. But it’s not essential.  Covid is a cluster spreading disease and only 1 in 5 or as few as 1 in 10 people are true infectious superspreaders. For example, in South Korea it was Patient #31 that set off the first mass outbreak infecting thousands.

Covid-19 usually has to “knock on the door” a few times before it arrives and stays. Small outbreaks have made it across state borders and come-to-nothing many times. So a few athletes came home but were already past their infectious period. The odd tourist visited Italy. But it took a sequence of “lucky breaks” for the virus to get a foothold to grow exponentially.

Was it deliberate or was it an accident. We still don’t know.

CDC Cautions Against Taking The Red Pill

Red Pill, Babylon Bee, Satire
ATLANTA, GA—The CDC has cautioned Americans against taking the red pill, as it can lead to severe side effects such as “realizing the truth about the way our society is manipulated by the elites” and “spending all your time on YouTube watching Jordan Peterson videos.”

“We’ve seen a lot of people recommend taking the red pill,” said CDC Director Rochelle Walensky. “And we just have to remind everyone that the pill is not approved by the FDA or any other governing body. It could spread ideas like that freedom is a good thing and that thinking for yourself is a healthy American value. People might start getting the wrong idea.”

Meanwhile, the FDA is rushing out an emergency approval process on a new, stronger blue pill to counteract the red pill crisis.

Jo says read the rest at The BabylonBee. See the BluePill in the proto-Beta version at the TGA site, where the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration warns that Doctors are no longer allowed to prescribe the Red Pill because people on social media are getting the doses wrong.

Informed consent means being told that if you don’t take the Blue Pill, you may get sacked.

“Fossil Fuels are a strategic asset” say people watching UK and EU perfect gas storm

It’s not even winter yet but suddenly all eyes are on the gas prices

Dutch TTF Gas prices in crude oil equivalent now trading at $148/barrels.

Gas through the roof…

Thanks to fear of climate change voodoo many nations in the EU have effectively stopped exploring for gas and decided not to frack their shale deposits to get cheap gas too. (In Australia too). Vainglorious governments aimed to change the weather instead of having cheap electricity and lo, wind-towers were built everywhere.

What could possibly go wrong? Nearly everything.

Even the massive size of the European market hasn’t saved them from price rises so large that retail suppliers are collapsing, and fertilizer factories are closing.

Its a great way to give your enemies the upper hand

The wind drought in spring and summer meant that wind farms failed.  Then the Russians squeezed gas supply in to the EU looking suspiciously like they were hoping to push up prices and pressure Germany into approving the controversial Nordstream 2 pipeline.  Now the Kremlin is suggesting a quick approval will alleviate the gas shortage (they’re just trying to help). In the latest news one large interconnector between the UK and France has suffered a fire and broken down and won’t be restored til March next year.

The GWPF points out that gas prices in Europe are three times higher than in the USA “where fracking is widely used and shale gas is cheap and abundant.”

Power prices soar after key electricity cable between UK and France catches fire

UK FlagBritish electricity prices jumped by 19 per cent to £475 per megawatt hour on Wednesday. A key electricity cable between Britain and France has been shut down after a fire, sending wholesale prices soaring. The fire will reduce imports from France until the end of March 2022, the National Grid has warned.

The bad news starts to unfold. With fertilizer factories closing, there may be food shortages:

In the UK two energy suppliers have collapsed under the price surge:

Sept 8th, 2021:   The record energy market surge has claimed its first casualties after two UK suppliers collapsed, leaving almost 100,000 customers without an energy supplier. PfP Energy and MoneyPlus Energy both ceased trading as the UK’s gas market reached a fresh record high on Tuesday while electricity market prices surged to levels not seen since 2008.

Fertilizer factories have been shut due to the high gas prices:

Record energy prices have forced two fertiliser plants in the north of England to shut down and brought steel plants to a halt, in some of the clearest signs that the energy crunch engulfing Europe could deal a blow to the UK’s economic recovery.

UK’s meat industry warns CO2 shortage could hit food supplies within two weeks

LONDON – Britain’s meat industry on Friday warned that an impending shortage of carbon dioxide (CO2) could cause massive disruption to food supplies within two weeks. The gas is used to stun animals before slaughter, in the vacuum packing of food products to extend their shelf life, and to put the fizz into beer, cider and soft drinks. Britain’s food supply chain, already creaking from an acute shortage of heavy goods vehicles (HGV) drivers and the impact of Brexit and COVID-19, is heavily reliant on fertiliser producers for CO2 which is a by-product of their production process.

Energy bills are set to soar:

Energy bills will soar by hundreds of pounds within weeks after dozens of cash-strapped suppliers withdrew their cheapest deals from the market because of soaring wholesale prices. Suppliers pulled their cheapest fixed-rate offers yesterday…  So few cheap deals are available that Compare the Market, which specialises in comparing cheap deals, temporarily closed its energy comparison service last night.

Suddenly energy self sufficiency is looking appealing

Gas prices are rising in the US as well, and even the US is paying attention.

Europe’s Climate Lesson for America

UK FlagUS Flag, Flying. As wind power flags, energy prices are soaring amid fuel shortages.

Wall Street Journal

Electricity prices in the U.K. this week jumped to a record £354 ($490) per megawatt hour, a 700% increase from the 2010 to 2020 average. Germany’s electricity benchmark has doubled this year. Last month’s 12.3% increase was the largest since 1974 and contributed to the highest inflation reading since 1993.

European natural-gas spot prices have increased five-fold in the last year. Some energy providers are burning cheaper coal, but its prices have tripled.

The U.S. is the world’s largest gas producer, but it isn’t immune from turmoil in energy markets. Natural gas spot prices in the U.S. have doubled over the past year in part because producers have increased exports to Europe and Asia. Exports are up more than 40% during the first six months this year over last.

Guess who benefits if the US adopts “low carbon” anti gas policies?  Russia, Iran and China,

This underscores how fossil fuels are a U.S. economic and strategic asset. The Biden Administration’s plan to curtail oil, gas and coal production by regulation would empower adversaries, especially Russia, Iran and China, which are the world’s three largest gas producers after the U.S.

Americans are already feeling the pain of rising energy prices. Electricity and utility gas prices were up 5.2% and 21.1%, respectively, over the last 12 months in August.

Anacortes Refinery, Washington. USA

Anacortes Refinery, Washington,  by Walter Siegmund

As I said in June, the EU was already being forced back to burning coal because no one was building gas plants because the experts all said they’d be stranded assets:

God’s joke on governments that try to control the climate with their electricity grid:

Europe talks itself out of building gas plants in order to stop global warming, then after an extra cold winter, they also run out of gas, and now they have to go back to burning coal.

Spooked investors weren’t funding many gas plants now that the glorious renewable era was here and policy makers were all wearing their Hydrogen badges, and waving their carbon capture wands. In the last year all the geniuses of the European Investment Bank, the IEA, the European Commission were saying “gas is over” and it would be a stranded asset.
