Junk study on Vitamin D shows nothing much but how bad science reporting is

The Sun provides Vitamin D

The Sunlight Vitamin

UPDATED! Mea Culpa from me. The post has been corrected*.  Thanks to Rob.

More junk reporting from the Australian government broadcaster the ABC which just copies the junk science press release. Is this what we pay $1b a year for?

The Journalists missed the key factor which was blood levels of participants.

The headline says Clinical trial finds vitamin D does not ward off colds and flu  but all it really shows is that in a group that already have *normal, non-deficient levels* of Vitamin D, taking big doses of Vitamin D once a month won’t will raise your blood levels — but won’t make a big difference to your risk of respiratory infections. And it only applies to people aged 60 -74.

Most participants in the study had a normal but sub-optimal Vit D levels and after five years of sporadic high doses, were raised to optimal levels at the end.

After taking 60,000 IU each month, supplementers apparently went from having 77.5  nmol/L up to 114.8 nmol/L,. To put this in perspective, normal levels of Vitamin D start at “50” and above, and there are professors who point out that there are many reasons to aim for Vitamin D levels of “100 – 150”.  Toxicity starts from 220nmol/L.

UPDATE: As we saw in the Brenner et al study of 10,000 Germans, when people are quite deficient (below 30 nmol/L) they are twice as likely to die of respiratory diseases as people whose blood levels are normal — defined as being above 50 nmol/L. The people who are most at risk of dying are those who are clinically deficient at below 20 nmol/L. Their risk was 3 times greater.  That study showed that a shocking 40% of all respiratory deaths might possibly be due to being deficient in Vitamin D. This new study in Queensland only shows that raising Vitamin D levels in people who are not deficient won’t make much difference.

If so-called science journalists only bothered spend five minutes reading the short summary (not even the whole paper) they could report something useful. See  The Lancet Diabetes and Endocrinology. The journalists made a big deal of how the “researchers analysed self-reported health data from 16,000 Australians aged between 60 and 84”. But the study ruled out most participants, and ended up with only 2,598 people.

I rate the study: barely worth noticing.

The shoddy work by “science communicators” is just another example of how science writing becomes de facto mere repetition of press releases which are usually dependent on government funding. No hard questions asked.

If you don’t know or care much about Vitamin D3 you may want to find out how it’s linked to all cause mortality (unlike nearly every other vitamin) : Let’s solve the other pandemic: Vitamin D deficiency — to help beat Coronavirus?

How did a horned Shamen end up representing the Christian right?

It was the perfect PsyOp photo. With hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters to pick from, somehow the photo on every media front page last week was of Jake Angeli standing in The Capitol. Listen to him talk about his beliefs to ward off evil spirits and witches.

Try to think of an image designed to horrify middle America more than a hairy chested horned man with tats and bare nipples in a furry hunting hood? Perhaps a hooded storm-trooper with an AK47 smattered in blood. But that might be confused with Antifa.

Nothing says barbaric quite as well as an escapee from the neolithic. So once Angeli was inside the heart of Democracy, it’s no accident or conspiracy that the hate-media picked up his photo.

The question is, why was the door open to Mr Horns, but a bullet headed for the Air Force Vet?

How is it, that the path to the Speakers Chair was blocked from so many but not to the most toxic photo-op possible? If Ashli Babbitt was sitting in the chair instead, the Shock and Awe campaign wouldn’t have had much ammo.

It’s almost like a PR committee sat down to ask: “What photo do we want to associate Trump with to horrify good Americans?”

Rep Marjorie Greene to file Biden impeachment on Jan 21 for foreign influence

Biden to face impeachment charges on Day 1 of his presidency

Hours after the House voted to impeach Donald Trump, a Republican announced she would file for impeachment of Joe Biden:

“We have to make sure our leaders are accountable and … not easily bought off by foreign governments” — Marjorie Greene

“If the Democrats want to lower the bar on what impeachment is, let’s roll with that.”

Newsmax TV

….

The Hill:

In her Newsmax interview Wednesday, which aired hours after the House voted to impeach Trump for a second time, the Greene said she plans on filing the articles of impeachment to show Americans that “there are Republicans in Congress that are willing to stand up and fight for them.”

“I’m a big believer of having people in office who are actually willing to do the job, and I can’t imagine people in this country being so fearful of a future of a Biden presidency that they may be willing to commit violence like they did in the Capitol here in Washington, D.C. We cannot have that, I do not condone that violence,” the congresswoman said.

Note that in October last year, there were people pointing out that the Democrats would be happy to impeach Biden themselves if they won. All hail Kamala.

Gab, surging, has copies of all Trump’s tweets

The great regrouping of Global Social Media is just starting.

Gab LogoIn the last four days 1.7 million new users have signed up to Gab — an alternative site to Twitter. The surge is so strong the site is swamped under the load. Gab are upgrading all the servers to deal with the growth. (The CEO is asking for patience).

Gab has already been thrown off both the big Ap Stores and Amazon too, back in 2018. To ensure that wouldn’t happen again, they bought and set up their own private servers.  (The internet really is hardware, after all).

They not only set up their own servers, they even created their own web browser (called Dissenter). They also built a video platform (Gab.TV.) and an encrypted email chat messaging service (Chat.Gab.).I have used Dissenter for months. I like it. There are rumours they are working on a Gab Phone as well.

Nothing will hurt Google, Amazon and Twitter like losing half their base.

It’s been a four year war for the CEO, Andrew Torba.

Look at the vilification this 30 year old outspoken Christian has had to endure:

As a result of Torba’s free speech principles, both Gab and Andrew have been no-platformed and banned by 25+ service providers over the years including both App Stores, multiple payment processors, and hosting providers.

Torba himself has been personally banned from online banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and Twitter for many years now. His family is also blacklisted by VISA.

Andrew Torba has also faced numerous threats of violence, doxxing, stalking, and more for his fight to defend free speech online for all people.

Want to see ALL Donald Trumps Tweets?

The CEO Andrew Torba had the wit to back up President’s Trumps entire Twitter account before it was deleted.

So far President Trump has not added any new tweets Gab’s mirror account: @realdonaldtrump. (Which is very slow to load).

It’s possible to read all the Presidents tweets without Warnings and deletions. Not being treated like a baby might catch on?!

Insurrection now means “asking questions”

Tucker Carlson lays out the radioactive hypocrisy of those who advocated insurrection and riots and now pretend to advocate for rule of law. The word “insurrection” had a whole different meaning in 2016 and for most of history.

Those who control the language…

Really worth watching.

John Matze ran a company that was worth half a billion dollars on Friday, but Parler went from number one in the Apple Ap store to zero overnight. Matze now says he can’t go home for fear of his safety. It appears that Parler have done a deal with Epik to shift there (which also houses Gab). Judging by this Newsweek article Epik are already so hated and tarred, they have no fear.

Silencing, blacklists, and electronic exile smell just like a Social Credit system. Will Americans let that stand?

If Global Corporations Walk Away from Republicans the GOP Will Have to Listen to New Voters

Stacey Lennox

“A significant majority of Americans, 73%, have a negative view of China. Continued international integration will hurt working and middle-class Americans the most. If Republicans plan on winning elections, these are the voters they will have to both listen to and appeal to. The party will need to develop a slate of policies that increase these families’ prosperity and security to combat the destruction that Democrats and their allies in big business will do with horrible energy and trade policy.”

Tech Giants rule the United States and the Purge continues

No dissent will be allowed:

Craven groupthinkers Verizon, AirBnB, Marriot, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, Hilton Hotels, American Airlines, BP, Coca Cola, Goldman Sachs, Boston Scientific, Microsoft, Facebook and Visa all suspended contributions to any member of Congress that objected to the Electoral college. We wonder if that in cludes all the past Democrats who did the exact same thing.

Hallmark Cards took it further and spread some badwill — it even asked for its donations back from the representatives who represented the millions of Americans who doubt election integrity. Election integrity does “not reflect our company’s values.” they said, or words to that effect. Their cards were always overpriced anyway.

The current state of healing in the United States:

Former CIA Director John O. Brennan, called 74 million Americans a “malignancy” and demanded they denounce Trump to eradicate wrongthink or something:

Silence is violence. Ignorance is Strength and the CIA is crooked.

The tentacles of the TechGiants spread through the Democrats

Tech-monster, Democrat, what’s the difference?

TennesseeStar reports:

At least seven former higher-ups of Facebook or the charity run by its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, have secured positions in President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team, despite Democratic Party officials labeling the social media giant among the biggest threats to American democracy.

Jessica Hertz was the Director of Facebooks regulatory team and is the new Whitehouse staff director. She used to work for Biden before she worked for Facebook.

“The ultimate arbiter for ethics for the Biden transition was a senior regulatory official for Facebook up until a few months ago, at a time when progressives and the Biden campaign are fighting against the right-wing agenda of Facebook,” said the Director of the Revolving Door Project, Jeff Hauser, according to Politico.

Facebook’s Jeff Zients is now the China virus chief in the USA. NSA spokeswoman Emily Horne was the former head of global policy communications for Twitter. Before that she worked for the NSC under Obama. Former Facebook Director of Public Policy Louisa Terrell will direct the White House Office of Legislative Affairs.

As for the TechGiants: Junk them or at least delete your personal data and join me on MeWe and Gab.

Good news, Parler has finally found a webserver that will host it. Epik. But freemen need to start thinking of owning their own servers, and since Obama gave the Internet to the UN, sooner or later it will ban anyone who doubts the TechnoDem commandments. What then?

For people sick of being told how horrible you are on the ABC/BBC/CBC watch Lou Dobbs instead.

h/t Bill and Scott of the Pacific.

Worth knowing: While there are claims that Capitol rioters have been put on “no fly” lists, there are opposing claims that these are old videos from November. I don’t claim anything, except that making No-Fly lists seems like the sort of thing the DemoTech Octopus would like to do if it hasn’t already. Perhaps they just want people to worry that they might do it. Fear, after all, is the ultimate currency. Even spreading false rumours of No-Fly lists will deter patriots from attending protests. So much easier than actually doing it!

Eight or so hours from now President Trump will speak from Alamo, Texas. Correct me if I’m wrong: That’s 3PM in New York,  7AM in Melbourne and Sydney, 6AM QLD, 4AM WA, Australia. It might matter.

All donations by paypal, or direct deposit and cheque for this blog is gratefully received no matter how small. If you have suggestions for ways to help through other means, I’m all ears.

Michael Yon: the US is in early stages of a civil war. “Unmistakable”.

Michael Yon is a journalist and photographer who has served with US special forces overseas. He is the “most experienced combat correspondent” in the US. He covers wars overseas, not elections, but says the US is in the early stages of a civil war. “It’s unmistakable. ”

First watch Alex Jones’s footage of January 6, then hear the details from Yon.

Provocateurs tried and failed to incite even more violence at Capitol Hill

Trump supporters were hard to “whip into action”.

How easy would it be for a couple of hundred provocateurs to attend a rally with nearly a million law abiding citizens and create mayhem?

Why was John Sullivan, a known and violent BLM activist, leading the spearhead of the protest? He was not just in the lead, he was the man who filmed Ashli Babbit’s shooting and death. The Daily Mail even reported this, and accepted that he is a known left wing activist, but “did not specify what exactly brought him there”. What brought him there was evidently the urge to tell Trump Supporters to “Burn Down the building” which they wouldn’t do.  John Sullivan was last seen wandering the streets freely, not charged with anything.

Trump supporters did not set fire to anything, they didn’t set off the handy pipe bombs left lying around. They also didn’t shine lasers into the eyes of police officers, or destroy any heritage art or historic statues. Even the New York Times reports that “The damage was largely limited to broken glass, busted doors and graffiti….”

But that’s a constitutional crisis. “Impeach him!”

UPDATE: I haven’t commented on the tragic death of Officer Brian Sicknick, a Trump supporter appallingly beaten to death on January 6th. I await evidence as to  who was responsible.

“Your outrage is being manufactured”

Alex Jones, of InfoWars was at the protest. He says the provocateurs hoped to create much more damage, but failed:  It only got about 1% of the violence they hoped for because honest law abiding Trump supporters were so hard to whip into action.

This is quite a powerful little video:

By infiltrating traditional protests Antifa and BLM  make it hard for law abiding citizens to be able to protest in future. Each event becomes an advertising meme for those prepared to lie, cheat, loot and vandalize.

Blame the media. When the left loot, it’s a peaceful protest. Will any of the Antifa and BLM troublemakers get charged or lose their job?

“The US is in Early Stages of Civil War”

UPDATE: Here’s Michael Yon, who worked for 7 months in Hong Kong with the resistance there, and was also at Capitol Hill. He says that Antifa were training in Hong Kong at the time and they have brought back many of the well honed tactics from there — including shields, and the professional agent provocateur. People were also changing their clothes on the scene. He’s written three books trying to warn the Japanese they are facing a similar situation.

The Epoch Times say they have many videos of Trump supporters calling out the Antifa members and trying to stop them damaging things.

At least the Wall Street Journal is reporting expert legal advice who says:

No, Trump Isn’t Guilty of Incitement

Inflaming emotions isn’t a crime. The president didn’t mention violence, much less provoke it.

Wall Street Journal

The president didn’t commit incitement or any other crime. I should know. As a Washington prosecutor I earned the nickname “protester prosecutor” from the antiwar group CodePink.

The Rumor that this is One Awesome Sting Operation

This letter below from the Nye County Chairman of the Republican Party, Nevada, is circulating: a full prophesy of Trump’s Most Awesome Win Yet.

I post parts of it here in the spirit that this is:

  1. A great plot for a spy novel.
  2. The Christmas wish list of US Conservatives — the innate appeal of a surprise sucker punch to the corruptocrats is exactly what honest people want to hear. That doesn’t make it true. But it is interesting to discuss nonetheless.
  3. Maybe a complicated fake story designed to fool Trump fans. A sting about a sting. Perhaps someone wants conservatives to do nothing while they wait “For The Great Rescue”, or to fuel anger later.
  4. Possibly a fake story leaked by the Good Guys to scare some confessions or panicked reactions out of some real people.

Any which way, it’s a springboard for speculation about why it is or isn’t likely. If Trump is going to pull this blockbuster feat off, it will have to be in the next few days surely? The true story may be that some of this is real, but the clock may run out.  If Lt General McInerney (below) is right, they have Pelosi’s laptop to analyze, which he points out, is making her frantic. If the Italian Affadavit is solid, there must be international evidence to collect.

Meanwhile Pelosi and co are painting Trump as the insurrectionist attempting a coup while they try to oust the current President of the United States.

Themes similar to this (below) have been circulating for two months. The implacable confidence is beguiling. It seems there’s always Hopium on the horizon. At least until Jan 21. (h/t David. Charles. Meglort. Henning  Neilson).

______________________________________________________

Part I: a letter from a Republican Party Nye county chairman, yesterday.

Let me be clear: Trump will be president for another four years. Biden will not be president. Yes, I know those are shocking words in these crazy days.
I have been approached by many saying, “It’s over…” and “Trump conceded the election…”. Nothing of the sort has taken place. Go back and listen to the videos all the way through. At no point does Trump even mention Biden’s name. At no point does he say he concedes. He does say that there will be a peaceful transition to a new administration and he does say that this is only the beginning. Those phrases are important to note. Indeed, we will have a new administration made up of a new vice president and cabinet as the current ones have all made their treason complete. I will touch on this in more detail shortly.
We do well to remember that for more than four years Donald Trump has been five steps ahead of everyone in every attempt to derail him, impeach him, or confound him. For example, he announced on election night in the early hours of the morning that he “didn’t want a dump of ballots at 4AM.” What happened in just a few short hours at almost exactly 4AM? A huge ballot dump took place which showed that he already knew that it was going to take place. That was a public word to the enemies of our country that he was on to them.
I say all this as only two examples out of many that at no point has our president been in a fight of desperation.
Now you may ask, “Why hasn’t Trump arrested anyone yet? Why did this have to go all the way to Congress?” Multiple reasons: first, Trump has been adamant in following the rule of law and the Constitution. He gives everyone, no matter how dirty, an opportunity to do the right thing (sometimes with warnings such as the phone call with the Georgia Secretary of State recently). He pushed cases through the courts, he presented evidence to the legislatures, and he even told the vice president to do the right thing. But with the betrayal by Pence and Congress, the treason is now complete and nobody can say that Trump did not allow the process to finish before acting. Second, in order to drain the swamp you have to know who are the swamp creatures. They can blend in very well with the crowds. But the false event in the capitol revealed the final traitors for who they were regardless of party affiliation. Trump flushed them out of hiding.
So, what comes next? I don’t have the particulars but I can give you milestones to watch for as the coming days unfold:
  1. Expect the emergency broadcast system to be activated. The FCC just recently released a memorandum speaking to the requirements under Federal law to send messages from the president to the public. See this link
  2. Expect confusion. We are in a battle for our republic against elites that are attempting the very coup that they are accusing Trump of doing. In battle, there will be disinformation but know that plans are being fulfilled.
  3. Expect high profile arrests to take place over the next 12 days and at any time. You may wake one morning to find someone in high office is no longer there.
  4. Expect this to be a bumpy ride to the very end. This is not a television show where things are resolved in 45 minutes.
  5. Expect more bombshell evidence to be released between now and Jan. 20th.
  6. Expect some sort of internet blackout or outage: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Gmail are likely going to be affected. If you don’t have alternate forms of communication established now, it would be a good idea to start forming them even if it’s just checking on your nextdoor neighbors.
  7. Expect Trump to be inaugurated on Jan 20th!
  8. Expect the executive order from 2018 and/or the Insurrection Act to be enacted. This DOES NOT mean martial law. Remember that we have been under a state of emergency since 2018 which gives the president many powers to act.

The next 12 days will be something to tell the grandchildren! It’s 1776 all over again!

There’s more at the link…
———————————————————–

Part II, Thomas McInerney,* retired 3-Star General was recorded at the White House. He says that some white hats (good guys) got Nancy Pelosi’s laptop during the breach of the Capitol on Wednesday. He says she’s frantic, and this is why she’s pushing to impeach Trump.

Wow. “The Vice President has committed treason.”

Link: https://www.bitchute.com/video/edKPo5DkAitM/

This refers to the Executive order 13848 — the one that was set up two years ago, to deal with the event of foreign interference in the US Election. He also mentions Hammer and Scorecard, the software and electronic equipment designed originally by the CIA to interfere in … foreign elections. But now in a case of bad karma, the decendants of which are being used to interfere in the US election.

Part III: there are several variations of claims about how the votes were being manipulated from Italy.

Better than a James Bond movie.

Big Tech Axes Parler. They are very afraid of Donald Trump and his supporters

What happened to the first amendment?

Parler will be tossed off Amazon at midnight US time tonight. Friday, Parler jumped to the #1 app in Apple’s app store. Saturday Apple tossed it off.

The Tech Giants run the country. They control the conversations of millions of people.

ZeroHedge:  Parler saw approximately 210,000 installs globally on Friday 1/8, up 281% from approximately 55,000 on 1/7, according to data from the analytics service Sensor Tower. “In the U.S., the app saw approximately 182,000 first-time downloads on 1/8, up 355% from about 40,000 installs on 1/7. Since Wednesday, the app has seen approximately 268,000 installs from across U.S. app stores,” a press rep from Sensor Tower wrote in an email. -TechCrunch

Parler promise to set up again by noon tomorrow

The defiant message from John Matze of Parler:

10:10 PM ET:   Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet.

We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.

…Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies.

This is all unfolding within the last few hours.

This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.

We are the closest thing to competition Facebook or Twitter has seen in many years. I believe Amazon, Google, Apple worked together to try and ensure they don’t have competition.

They will NOT win! …

What they are doing is unprecedented, unfounded and absolutely disgusting. Shameful.

This is a battle against all of us. Liberals, conservatives, atheists, Christians, black, white, etc. They want to keep their monopoly over speech. They want us fighting. They don’t want us working together. They don’t want us working with each other, they want us hating one another.

Parley – brings two people with conflicting ideas together. Our mission is free speech, democracy and us the people having the power. The elite don’t want us to be free, they want hate division and power!

For us to win this fight we need everyone back on Parler Tuesday. By Monday at noon we will be fully operational again.

The  Chilling Effect of the Big Tech control

When Twitter cancelled The New York Post for the hottest two weeks in the lead up to the biggest political event in four years, the message to the media was clear. Play by our rules or it’s over for your social media accounts which they had become dependent on in a world where subscriptions and advertising were squeezed flat by the same Tech Giants who pirated content.

The purge happening now is naked, it’s a sign of strength but revealing this ominous power is also a mark of desperation. A no-holds-barred, gloves off Information War. The conglomerate that “won” control of the most powerful nation on Earth appear to be afraid that they might lose that in the next ten days. Otherwise, why the rush?

If Donald Trump was only supported by delusional extreme right fringe losers in Chewbacca bikinis with horned hats, they wouldn’t need to silence him.

When people ask “Why wouldn’t the media report a stolen election?”, point at the power of the Tech Giants

The power to exile the President of the Free World from the national conversation is enough on its own to explain the bizarre media blackout of the last two months. The failure of the normal media to even report the biggest political scandals most of our lifetimes.

More than anything, the conglomerate Democrat-Tech-Giant-CCP want to stop most of America from hearing what Donald Trump or his supporters say.

As I’ve said, we’re in an Information War, more than anything we need new lines of communication. Sign up to Gab, to MeWe, to anything outside the Tech Giants. Tune in and spread the message. Each time you phone a friend, send an email, support a site that shares messages, you are part of the solution.

What ever you do, don’t give in. That’s what they want you to do.

The Tech Giants purge Trump, conservatives, effectively 74 million people

“Welcome to West China”

So sayth Roger Simon at the Epoch Times.

Did you ever wonder what it’s like to live in a one-party state?

Well, wonder no more. You’re living in one.

As a business plan, chucking off half the nation may not work so well?

Censorship just got racked up to Defcon 2.0. It’s bad and it’s going to get worse. The good news is, the Left overplay their hands.

Twitter has permanently banned The President of the United States, as well as Sidney Powell, Michael Flynn, and Lin Wood. In reply, Rush Limbaugh deactivated his Twitter Account. Limbaugh had has 88 million followers on twitter and has 35 million listeners on his radio show. But the purge is sweeping, Facebook already banned Trump “indefinitely”. Not only that but Facebook has been going after conservative groups too.  Steve Bannon’s podcast was also shuttered by YouTube over “false 2020 election claims”.

In response there will be an exodus to other platforms like Parler. In preparation for that Apple and the Google Playstore both told Parler it must obey their rules or it will be delisted. But what does this say about Apple? They spent a lot of money advertising their strong privacy policy. This blows that away and marks Apple as an activist tool of the left wing. How confident are you now that Apple won’t use your iphone messages against you “for the national good”, etc?

It’s looking like only the three or four people with phones outside the two giants will be allowed (and for how long) to get social media messages from the current US President. Is anyone still wondering if this is a Coup?

Glenn Reynolds says “This does seem like a good way to re-unify the Republican Party, though.” There is that.

As it happens, Donald Trumps popularity rose after the Capitol hill protest:

A source close to the polling firm tells Newsmax that the rolling survey saw Trump’s approval soar to 51% on Thursday night. Trump’s approval has been up overall, jumping from 45% just before Christmas. “Americans are disgusted that cities burned for months and Washington and the media did nothing,” our source says, “But they still like Trump.”

The Tech Giants have monopolies to wreck, and the sooner the better. Has there ever been a better reason to look at their competitors?

Trump Meme, "I'm in the Way"

Trump promises big news and possibly a whole new platform:

President Donald Trump responded to Twitter’s move to permanently suspend his account from its platform late Friday, condemning the big tech giant and saying that it does not stand for free speech.

The president also said he anticipates a “big announcement” soon and that his team is negotiating with other sites and is also looking at building a separate platform.

“As I have been saying for a long time, Twitter has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight, Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my account from their platform, to silence me—and YOU, the 75,000,000 great patriots who voted for me,” Trump said in a statement.

“Twitter may be a private company, but without the government’s gift of Section 230 they would not exist for long,” he added.

“I predicted this would happen. We have been negotiating with various other sites, and will have a big announcement soon, while we also look at the possibilities of building out our own platform in the near future. We will not be SILENCED!” he said.

For the record, these were the two tweets that Twitter deemed to be “glorifying violence”.

They are not even trying:

Twitter says Blah blah blah. They might as well say, Trump used English, therefore we have to hide him:

Add this to your dictionary: American Patriot means people who support violent acts?  GIANT VOICE means “there will not be an orderly transition”.

This determination is based on a number of factors, including:

        • President Trump’s statement that he will not be attending the Inauguration is being received by a number of his supporters as further confirmation that the election was not legitimate and is seen as him disavowing his previous claim made via two Tweets (12) by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Dan Scavino, that there would be an “orderly transition” on January 20th.
        • The second Tweet may also serve as encouragement to those potentially considering violent acts that the Inauguration would be a “safe” target, as he will not be attending.
        • The use of the words “American Patriots” to describe some of his supporters is also being interpreted as support for those committing violent acts at the US Capitol.
        • The mention of his supporters having a “GIANT VOICE long into the future” and that “They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!” is being interpreted as further indication that President Trump does not plan to facilitate an “orderly transition” and instead that he plans to continue to support, empower, and shield those who believe he won the election.
        • Plans for future armed protests have already begun proliferating on and off-Twitter, including a proposed secondary attack on the US Capitol and state capitol buildings on January 17, 2021.

Unforgiveably, Trump is not attending the inauguration, sob, sob. He is not bowing to their egos, and thus is inciting disobedience.

Pelosi still plotting to get rid of Trump — another impeachment — seriously?

With 12 days to go, what is she so afraid of?

Pelosi and Schumer demand Pence remove Trump

The Washington Examiner

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who said President Trump is dangerous and unhinged, told fellow Democrats on Friday that she asked Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove him from office immediately.

Pelosi said she has also sought an assurance from the U.S. military that Trump cannot order a nuclear strike during his final 12 days in office.

A nuclear strike? On what, the coronavirus?

More likely she is afraid of Trump launching a new political party, a new media outlet, or a summons. Trump is obviously still a potent threat to Pelosi and Schumer. Even though Joe Biden “won” 80 million votes to be the most popular President Select in history the Democrats are behaving as though The People prefer Donald Trump. That, or they know they broke the law and Trump has the evidence and the ability to “Declassify” or charge them?

Pelosi said she is waiting to hear from Pence and that if he does not agree to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump, the House will move to impeach him.

“If the President does not leave office imminently and willingly, the Congress will proceed with our action,” Pelosi said in the memo.

That was yesterday when impeachment was the second option. Today it’s the first choice. That suggests that there weren’t enough Cabinet member supporters to invoke the 25th or Mike Pence really refused to do that (which is hard to believe since he misled, then sold Trump out so conclusively on Jan 6th). If Trump was successfully impeached — which may take a supermajority of 67 votes in the Senate — Congress can decide he also could not run again in 2024 or ever. Is that the real aim, or is there some condition whereby a President facing an impeachment loses the ability to activate Executive Orders, or the Insurrection Act? “The 25th” has no effect on future elections. If the 25th was the first option it suggests that Pelosi et al are more worried about the next 12 days, rather than 2024. Acting guilty?

Or is impeachment just part of the Psy Ops plan to humiliate Donald Trump, to demoralize his supporters, and to provide a one word weapon against all his potent talking points. If Trump had the evidence, why hasn’t he used it already? The Democrats don’t just need to stop Trump running, they want to stop anyone from picking up his baton. By grinding him down publicly, they are also advertising to any would-be Trump-style contenders that the are putting their heads on a chopping block. Ruling by fear.

For those who think impeachment is too slow, think again. All lines in the sand have been crossed. If the Democrats have the votes (and enough sell-out RINOs) and a desperate need, perhaps to keep themselves out of jail, it could be done faster than ever before, probably a little more than one week. And there are arguments that while impeachment must start while Trump is in office, it can be finished even after he has left.

PS: Tom Rogan points out that Pelosi’s nuclear comment is incompetently silly — why would any nation advertise that they have no leader with the finger on the button? While China and Russia are extremely unlikely to launch a first strike, it’s a sign of weakness, and an opportunity for a foreign power, or terrorists, to still wreak some mayhem. “As we learned in the 13 days of the Cuban Missile Crisis, things can go wrong quickly.”

PPS: Nancy Pelosi called for “uprisings” against Trump in 2018. No end to the hypocrisy. Impeachable crimes are whatever Congress decrees. There is no court oversight.

Dangerous times.

Politically correct spies? CIA withheld China Intel because they didn’t want to help Trump

If China was trying to influence the US elections, the US Intelligence chose to help China rather than the sitting US President.

Symbol China Map.Remember the Intelligence Report on Foreign Interference on the US election that was due on December 18th? It was part of Executive Order 13848 and due within 45 days of the US election, but it was only delivered on Thursday to Congress, whereupon it vanished entirely under the PR weight of the Congressional Storm. So it was too late to be useful.

Apparently there is already an Ombudsman Report on it, by Barry Zulauf, who laments  “the polarized atmosphere [which] has threatened to undermine the foundations of our Republic, penetrating even into the Intelligence Community.”

The President wanted a report on foreign interference. The Director of the National Intelligence (DNI) wanted a report, and the people of America wanted it, but that still it wasn’t enough to overcome the bureaucratic inertia and resistance.

US Intelligence Report on China withheld because of excuses:

Intelligence analysts downplayed Chinese election influence to avoid supporting Trump policies, inspector finds

Jerry Dunleavy, Washington Examiner:

“Given analytic differences in the way Russia and China analysts examined their targets, China analysts appeared hesitant to assess Chinese actions as undue influence or interference. The analysts appeared reluctant to have their analysis on China brought forward because they tend to disagree with the administration’s policies, saying in effect, I don’t want our intelligence used to support those policies,” Zulauf concluded, saying this behavior violated analytic standards requiring independence from political considerations.

US Flag, Flying. The Director of National Intelligence, — Daniel Radcliffe — who oversees all the agencies felt that China posed a significant threat but the Intelligence Community (IC) wouldn’t say so.The ombusdman agrees with Radcliffe:

The ombudsman report, Ratcliffe added, “includes concerning revelations about the politicization of China election influence reporting and of undue pressure being brought to bear on analysts who offered an alternative view based on the intelligence.”

A senior intelligence official told the Washington Examiner that “inside the IC, we’re going to have to wrestle with the issues outlined in this report and the revelation that our own internal umpire basically said Ratcliffe was right and some of our career people, even CIA management, were politicizing China intelligence.”

Whatever is in that report, Trump could have used it to make “misleading campaigns.”

A source familiar with the process of creating the 2020 assessment told the Washington Examiner that one reason for the delay in submitting the assessment to Congress, in addition to the internal debate, was a desire to get past Wednesday to ensure the report was not exploited for political reasons during the debate over the Electoral College votes counted by Congress. The source cited concerns about how politicians, such as outspoken Trump critics like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, might exploit the report, but also sought to avoid allowing conspiracy theorists such as Trump-allied lawyers Sidney Powell and Lin Wood to make misleading claims about it that would make their way to Trump for him to latch on to as he refused to concede.

So the report would have been useful to Sidney Powell?

If only they’d had a dictionary of CIA words:

Zulauf said that “due to varying collection and insight into hostile state actors’ leadership intentions on domestic influence campaigns, the definitional use of the terms ‘influence’ and ‘interference’ and associated confidence levels are applied differently by the China and Russia analytic communities.” He pointed out that Russia analysts could rely on a formal definition document, but “there is no parallel document for China,” and so, “the terms were applied inconsistently across the analytic community.”

“The analytic ombudsman says Ratcliffe wasn’t being political — he was being honest that China intelligence was being suppressed for political reasons,” the senior intelligence official contended to the Washington Examiner.

Is there any rescuing an organization like this?

Trump is not just battling the Democrats but also the CCP, the CIA and FBI.

Republican Rioters didn’t even get big screen TV’s

Republican Rioters have  a lot to learn from Democrat counterparts:

Rioters on Congress

The rioters were condemned by people on both sides of the aisle, with critics slamming them for disrupting congressional proceedings, breaking through police barricades, and not even stealing a single Lego set, cheesecake, or Nike shoe in the name of justice. No footage emerged of the Capitol occupiers lighting cop cars on fire or throwing bricks through restaurant windows, causing the protesters to lose support from people of all political persuasions.

“One thing is clear,” said one political analyst. “These people obviously don’t know the sweet, sweet justice of lugging a 60-inch TV back to your apartment to show how much you care about your cause.”

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but how does a bloke in a Chewbacca bikini outwit the nation’s finest and storm the Capitol? By Lisa McKenzie.

In a country that spends about 900 billion dollars a year on security and defence, …how is it possible that a couple of thousand of badly dressed and quite frankly weird folks break into the USA’s centre of power?

Peaceful Trump supporters booed violent ANTIFA poseurs — tried to stop them breaking windows:

These twitter videos make it clear the crowd saw there were ANTIFA members, and, at least in this situation, it was imposters, not the Trump supporters who were trying to break the windows. The Trump supporters boo loudly, chant No Antifa, No Antifa, and some directly try to pull them off.

Trump — by the way — has been banned from Facebook until after the inauguration. Someone is very frightened of what he might say.

A close up.

IF the videos don’t work, try them in a different browser. Or watch them at this link, or this one.

An eye witness reports overhearing a conversation from Antifa members.

A search on bitchute finds a lot of odd claims about Antifa at the rally. Keep your skeptical hat on, but let us know what you find.

Steyn: some riots are OK — there’s been a complete collapse of equality before the law

Mark Steyn to Tucker Carlson:

They’re blathering, people from the Vice President on down, saying these riots are not “who we are”. Have you switched on a TV since Memorial Day? This is exactly who we are.

It’s OK to loot Macy’s, it’s OK to incinerate the precinct house in Minneapolis… but suddenly you expect the Capitol of the United States to be immune from this?  If we have equality before the law,  a Wendy’s franchisee is expected to have his property rights as respected as the United States Congress…

“Some groups have enjoyed a license to loot and burn at night…”

We’ve got a completely bifurcated system…the less law that applies to one group the more microregulated the lives of the other group are.

As for equality before the Media: A woman was killed in Congress, apparently shot by an agent of law enforcement. But on the news tonight, there were no candlelit vigils, no slo-mo replays. No demands for answers. It was the chaos that “led to her death”. It’s all in the phrasing.

@TweetBrettMcDonald  Cops shoot a woman and MSNBC calls the conservative mob “deadly”
