Hallelujah! Trump announces withdrawal of US support and funds for Blob Headquarters — 66 UN and international agencies

By Jo Nova

Finally! Trump kills off funding and support for 66 international agencies, promises more to get the axe

The United Nations finally gets some accountability after serving itself or foreign dictators for decades. Trump isn’t just withdrawing from The Paris Agreement, he’s gone for the nuclear option of pulling out of the UNFCCC completely.

The WHO could have stopped Covid, instead they actively help spread it and covered up for the Chinese Communist Party. They look, act and behave like a larval form of One World Government — constantly trying to pass agreements that take over sovereign control or generate funds for the UN. They dream of setting up a Global Pandemic Treaty where they can dictate what injections you must have, what drugs are permitted, and get access to your medical data. These are not just pie-in-the-sky ambitions, the UN already effectively stopped unvaccinated Australians from leaving the country during Covid.

The UN helped set up giant $130 Trillion dollar banker cartels to control national energy policy, allowing China to set up gigawatts of coal power while the West is crippled with unreliable generators made with the same Chinese coal. They repeatedly try to install taxes on global shipping “to reduce carbon emissions” but mostly to earn the UN $40 billion a year to boss us around with. They promote outlandish self-serving fear-mongering, with biblical fire and brimstone, they attack our key industries, try to curb our free speech.

The UN operates like a mafia protection racket. UNESCO threatens to put the Great Barrier Reef on the “in danger list”, even though the reef is the biggest and best managed reef in the world, with record high coral cover. It does this to extract funds, power and status for Blob workers.

There should be a Royal Commission into the politicians and media outlets who sold out the nation to support the UN, like those that signed the Pandemic Treaty, and the Carbon tax on shipping.

From Marco Rubio: Withdrawal from Wasteful, Ineffective, or Harmful International Organizations

Today, in furtherance of Executive Order 14199, President Trump announced the withdrawal of the United States from 66 international organizations identified as part of the Trump Administration’s review of wasteful, ineffective, and harmful international organizations. Review of additional international organizations pursuant to Executive Order 14199 remains ongoing.

The Trump Administration has found these institutions to be redundant in their scope, mismanaged, unnecessary, wasteful, poorly run, captured by the interests of actors advancing their own agendas contrary to our own, or a threat to our nation’s sovereignty, freedoms, and general prosperity. President Trump is clear: It is no longer acceptable to be sending these institutions the blood, sweat, and treasure of the American people, with little to nothing to show for it. The days of billions of dollars in taxpayer money flowing to foreign interests at the expense of our people are over.

As such, the United States will be withdrawing from the 66 organizations that can be found here.

As this list begins to demonstrate, what started as a pragmatic framework of international organizations for peace and cooperation has morphed into a sprawling architecture of global governance, often dominated by progressive ideology and detached from national interests. From DEI mandates to “gender equity” campaigns to climate orthodoxy, many international organizations now serve a globalist project rooted in the discredited fantasy of the “End of History.” These organizations actively seek to constrain American sovereignty. Their work is advanced by the same elite networks—the multilateral “NGO-plex”— that we have begun dismantling through the closure of USAID.

Outrage as Trump withdraws from key UN climate treaty along with dozens of international organisations

The Guardian:

Donald Trump has sparked outrage by announcing the US will exit the foundational international agreement to address the climate crisis, cementing the US’s utter isolation from the global effort to confront dangerously escalating temperatures.

“This is a shortsighted, embarrassing and foolish decision,” said Gina McCarthy, who was a top climate adviser to Joe Biden’s White House.

“As the only country in the world not a part of the UNFCCC treaty, the Trump administration is throwing away decades of US climate change leadership and global collaboration. This administration is forfeiting our country’s ability to influence trillions of dollars in investments, policies and decisions that would have advanced our economy and protected us from costly disasters wreaking havoc on our country.”

Manish Bapna, president of the Natural Resources Defense Council, said Trump’s decision to exit the UNFCCC is an “unforced error” and “self-defeating” as it will further hamper the US’s ability to compete with China, which is increasingly dominant in the world’s burgeoning clean energy technology industries.

Trump serves oil billionaires, says Al Gore!

Gore, the former US vice-president and climate activist, told the Guardian:“They’ve done this at the behest of the oil industry, so that billionaires can rake in even more money while polluting our planet and endangering people in America and around the world,”…

The World Health Organisation had only one job, to prevent pandemics, and instead  it helped kill at least six million people (so far), and spread disease and chaos to every corner of the world.  WHO made sure nations kept flying in the bioweapon from Wuhan when they could so easily have stopped it. And Tedros, of course, is a devoted minion of President Xi, and a former Minister of Ethiopia during the time the Chinese Belt and Road expanded there. Even as China lied about the human spread and risk of Covid in January 2020 — Tedros worked as a one-man advertising man to cover the bad news and promote the leader of the CCP.

The parasitic bureaucrats and Blob psychopaths value our lives at zero.

Also… A line quoted from Jo’s post above..

Ok, Imho that is a strange thing for our Climate Crusader Alan to state…

I am told the Oil Company, Occidental Petroleum, was allegedly a steady supplier of campaign funds to Al Gore and to the Democratic Party.

“Trump serves oil billionaires, says Al Gore!”

Billionaires love Trump so much that he has been outspent nearly 2-1 by Democrats in all three of his presidential races. Harris raised a billion-and-a-half in 100 days. But sure, Trump is the billionaire crony while Democrats are the voice of the common man.

Scotland ( even uk ) blabbers about playing “above their weight” … Puh! Sports and industry, except when they’re not. Industry: The Steam engine as the “Child” of the industrial revolution ( Coal being the Mother? ), we had a person walking in front of the slow vehicle waving a flag. Uhuh, but we won races for speed, Concord, et al but now 20’s plenty. We as farmers had long wanted faster tractors, and who’d ‘a thocht that we could lose our driving licence with 50% over the speed limit, now ? ie wrong side of 30 ( downhill?) in a 20 zone. Trunk road to the highlands with speed cameras and/at road works on A9 you could be just about as fast on the backroads with a Hi-speed tractor! ….

It sounds like you could use a Royal Commission when Farage eventually becomes PM. It would show the populace just how various governments have stolen billions out of their wallets based on fraudulent science. Come to think of it, we should have one in Australia as well. Imagine dragging those university climate types into court.

A little clarification with respect to how this situation plays out under US Law.

According to the terms of the UNFCC treaty, withdrawal from the UNFCCC requires an official notification to the United Nations, and the dissolution takes effect one year later. Today, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made the official notification to the UN. This action starts the legal clock. One Year from today, the USA will no longer be a participant in the UNFCC.

No “next President” can rejoin the existing agreement; nor can the Senate block Trump’s withdrawal from it. Any similar “climate treaty” would have to begin anew, reach an agreement, be ratified by the Senate, and funded by the Congress in a duly passed budget.

US participation in Climate Change is OVER and will never happen again.

good article and discussion at https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2026/01/08/treasury-secretary-scott-bessent-triggers-the-clock-for-a-one-year-notification-of-u-s-withdrawal-from-unfccc/#more-279563

Can you imagine what this world would be like if the demorats had managed to cheat cackles into power?!

Now, Trump has to go one further: kick the UN out of the US. This body is now infested by green ratbags and it is nothing more than a tool for China, Russia and Iran. In that respect let us also hope the revolution in Iran succeeds.

Hallelujah. This is the coup de grace after Elon Musk effected the digital gutting of USAID almost 12 months ago. His gun cyber experts entered their buildings in the early morning hours just after Trump‘s inauguration and unveiled the senseless and gratuitous spending this organisation was perpetrating.

with international law being thrown out the window

International law is a misnomer. There is no international law. The USA (and Russia and China) isn’t even a signatory to most of those treaties because they refuse to give up sovereignty. Same goes for the other world powers. And when world powers do sign on to ‘international law’ pacts, they flout those laws when they find it convenient since there is no enforcement mechanism. ‘International Law’ is for the countries that are too weak to compete under the law of the jungle. Red in tooth and claw is the law for the big boys with powerful economies and militaries.

People may delude themselves into believing ‘international law’ carries weight, but it doesn’t. Might makes right has been the law throughout human history and it still is. Just look at the shenanigans the CIA and KGB got up to during the Cold War, or the chicanery of the Chinese in the Spratly Islands or their massive industrial/military spying activities. All of that crap was/is illegal under international law, but it was done anyway because powerful nations ignore international law whenever they feel like it.

Hate to sound like a 12-year old at the school yard but who started it first?
Appearances matter, however shaky world order existed since 1945, do we need another Yalta and all what preceded it for international borders to exist again?

Before somebody utters words Bush or Iraq, I have a full page of names for you.

Nobody started it first. Every nation has spy agencies that regularly violate international law, and the USA/UK/France and USSR were all violating ‘international law’ in Berlin the day after the shooting stopped in Germany. But even before that, the major powers of Europe have been spying and violating international agreement for as long as those countries have existed. They literally had hundreds of years of experience doing black bag stuff and conducting assassinations and coups. The Americans were pikers compared to them back in the 1940s … but they were adept pupils and soon surpassed everyone but the Soviets.

And the game hasn’t changed to this day. Only the players have changed (particularly China emerging as a major player).

      Yes, Rob. Greenland.
“For Prime Minister Frederiksen to claim that 50,000 Inuits must remain part of the Danish Realm sounds like sour grapes from an Old World power that feels an inflated sense of self-worth knowing that Greenland represents ninety-eight percent of (Danish) total land mass.”

“Americans already defend Greenland. Pretending that it somehow belongs to the Kingdom of Denmark is petty narcissism. Unfortunately, European elites excel at little else besides petty narcissism. So Danish prime minister Frederiksen will pout. ”

      https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2026/01/europe_pretends_to_own_greenland.html

Of the 56,000 inhabitants of Greenland, 50,000 are Inuit, not Danish. That’s 89%. Greenland has the right of self determination as of 2009. They can vote to be independent of Denmark. Then they can decide for themselves what is best.

“Greenland’s access to independence: The Self-Government Act contains a provision regarding Greenland’s access to independence. The provision stipulates that if the people of Greenland take a decision in favour of independence, negotiations are to commence between the Danish Government and Naalakkersuisut regarding the introduction of independence for Greenland. An agreement between the Danish Government and Naalakkersuisut regarding the introduction of independence for Greenland is to be concluded with the consent of Inatsisartut and is to be endorsed by a referendum in Greenland. Furthermore, the agreement is to be concluded with the consent of the Folketing, cf. Section 19 of the Danish Constitution. Independence for Greenland implies that Greenland assumes sovereignty over the Greenland territory.”

What international law? Impress us with your knowledge. Maduro LOST the election and refused to allow Machado to take over. Maduro was literally the front man for the drug cartels and was allowing China, Russia and Iran to move in. If Trump had not dealt with Maduro a world war would have started there with Venezuela the proxy for those evil state actors. Trump is merely reinstating oil assets back to the oil companies Maduro kicked out when he usurped power.

It’s ironic that Venezuelans are over the Moon by what Trump has done; and I’ll believe them rather than someone who quotes Tucker who has lost the plot.

      Don’t believe any of it..

Trump was going well with me util he met Zelenski. Then he lost me by supporting the baddie Putin.

But It didn’t take long for that to become so implausible that what we are seeing is a great charade, a play being acted out.

But why? And who are the intended audience?

Because there will be war, and the US are not ready for it. Could that audience be the Russian population?

It could be the Australian population.

Trump knows better than just about everybody here that the Albanese government is composed of a bunch of cocky communists. They have been piling s–t on him at every opportunity. He will be keeping count. Their day will come. Soon!

And whatever the palaver, we will never get to own any Virginia class submarines .

It seems however that we are getting their submarines for the pittance price of providing a port for servicing facilities. How lucky can we get?

One of the first things Trump said on election was to make a claim on Greenland. This was novel. So why? For a start the Americans need to secure their back door against a repeat of the Cuban Missile Crisis while the US is engaged in the resumption of the war in Europe.

And the arresting of Venezuelan shipping?

Maybe Trump wants to know how many nukes those ships are carting in their back loading.

I pointed out yesterday that “renewables” are the lowest cost source of electrical energy consistent with Australian government policy. Australia has a NetZero policy.

What AEMO fails to point out is that “renewables” are about 4X the cost of lignite fired generators.

      NetZero is synonymous with de-industrialisation.

Meanwhile, Australia is more fanatically committed than ever before to as many globalist UN decrees as possible.

It’s the loophole how the Government enacts policies contrary to the wishes or interests of the Australian people.

On a related note, Prof. Peter Ridd has just released a video about the junk science that is destroying Australian agriculture and the economy. Much of this junk science has a political motivation via Government and UN policies that the Government seeks to enforce. If morally compromised “scientists” don’t adopt UN/WEF etc. policies via Government they don’t get any taxpayer funding.

The US has been a major source of funds for the UN and its agencies, even though UN policies mostly work AGAINST the interests of the US, the West, and the cause of freedom in general.

I am concerned that the Governments of the stupid woke countries like Australia which love the UN and who have zero concern for the expenditure of vast amounts of taxpayer money will step in and make up the deficit, at the cost of even more Government debt.

So, if this funding deficit is made up by our money, the UN will not shrink.

Good piece in most regards but …

“The WHO could have stopped Covid, instead they actively help spread it and covered up for the Chinese Communist Party.”

No, it couldn’t. The WHO has little money of its own and little power. It tries to get countries cooperating on health issues; It cannot force any country to do anything. Even if they’ve agreed to follow WHO instructions They might still refuse. The most that the WHO could have done was to advise all countries that covid had been reported in China and recommend border closures against Chinese travel.

How do I know this? I know someone who works closely with the WHO.

One rare country that handled the covid pandemic successfully was Taiwan, the Republic of China. It was expelled years ago from WHO for perverse political. chicanerie and had to rely on its own expertise. Knowing the corrupting influences pervading the Peoples Republic of China they knew not to trust any information coming from there via the WHO. One can only guess how the world would have dealt with the disaster had the rest followed Taiwan’s lead.

Wow! Is there no end to the definitive and historical decisions of the Trump administration to restore US independence and redirect decisions to what benefits their people? The UN has progressively abandoned its charter and now operates as an enforcer of totalitarian ideology that bizarrely comes out of the mouths of privileged and powerful officials.

This administration is forfeiting our country’s ability to influence trillions of dollars in investments,

This is the complete opposite of what Trump has done. Rather than gift the UN trillions in USD to fund thei UN backed terrorists, the USA is retaining the money to fight the terrorists.

The best news in years and I hope Trump uses some of his time to explain why Humans are living in the safest period in our history.
The data proves that deaths from extreme weather events have dropped by 98% since 1920, but how many people really understand the OWI Data evidence?
Alas very few and hopefully Energy Secretary Chris Wright can explain the facts to his fellow Americans.

Hallelujah is right! Party time! It just gets better and better. The only disappointment is that it could have happened between 2020 and 2024. We had to wait an extra four years for this. Oh well, better late than never.

Trump did not waste the 4 years. I believe they gave him the space to hone his expertise and form his team. He would have been mired in Covid through 2021/22.

He is now a commanding figure across the world.

Trump is in total control of the news cycle. The press are just getting their story lines sorted for the last news cycle when Trump unleashes again.

Day 9 of the year in Australia and it seems there is a history making news item every day. Ukraine, Greenland, Venezuela, Somali Day Care, ICE shooting, Oil Tanker Capture, UN Funding cuts. And others.

Newt Gingrich labelled Trump a “phenomenon” and explains it here:

The world is fortunate that we have him.

Here is a list of the more interesting “withdrawl picks” from the 66 listed:
    -UN Democracy Fund
    -UN Register of Conventional Arms
    -Global Counterterrorism Forum
    -Global Forum on Cyber Expertise
-International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance
-International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law
    -Partnership for Atlantic Cooperation
-Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia
-Science and Technology Center in Ukraine

It may give a hint on US global actions to come in the future – especially democracy.
He also appears to be giving up on Africa, with one Ukrainian bit piece thrown in for good measure.

    Well, this all very strange.

Just last week the UN’s Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, called on the 192 member states to isolate America. Did she actually mean to isolate the US but keep their money? How did she think that would work?

Donald has just done what she asked for first. It’s time the UN realised that rhetoric has consequences.

When you threaten Don with a good time, he’ll take it.

Would Trump cancel the lease on the UN headquarters in NY?

It’s not a lease – they own the land. It was purchased by John D Rockefeller and given to the UN.

Alas the new NYC mayor is unlikely to raise the real estate taxes (rates) on the property to a level that would provoke transfer of the facility to another location / country.
Well maybe if the city could own it and charge rent?

Should the Republicans lose the next Presidential election the Democrats could repeal much of what Trump is doing?
The main problem for the US and Australia is that such a high percentage of the people are ignorant of issues.

Trump drops a bunker buster on the globalist elites. Another salvo launched at the ‘global establishment’.

If there was any doubt before, there is certainly none now that Trump holds in disdain the dominant globalist perspective that has insisted on adherence to the existing ‘rules-based international order’ as established after the Second World War.

Trump has long identified correctly that it is the American people that are sovereign, individual free legal American citizen creates a free nation, democracy matters and it is America that will decide its future, not a cabal of unelected faceless globalist automatons committed to a set of ‘global rules’.

What the globalist elites fear most and what represents a direct threat to their technocratic rules is popular democracy and strong domestic legal & political systems, for these represent the power of the people.

    A very long list,
By the U.S. won’t be missed,
All at once it’s 66 chops.

Many have either forgotten or are not aware of the first address to the United Nations in New York by first term President Trump, he told the audience that the UN had grown beyond the original charter with too many organisations formed and funded, and requested the UN to stop interfering into the national affairs of member nations.

He recommended that the UN get back to the original objectives and purposes it was established for.

The international left side of politics infiltrated the United Nations from the beginning, one example is Australian Labor Attorney General Evatt (a Communist* faction member) who recommended that the UN arrange to sign as many treaties and agreements as possible with member nations with the purpose of getting around constitutional laws by legislation and regulation within each sovereign nation.

    * Communist Party of Australia and associates within the far-left of Labor 1950s example resulted in a split within Labor ALP right forming the Democratic Labor Party – DLP.

President Trump’s MAGA targets the UN supported new world order and related support for developing nations (see Lima Agreement 1975 and others) effectively transferring the market driven wealth of developed nations to developing nations, free trade one example.

A former US Military General interviewed on Sky News said that oil was not the motivating factor in Venezuela, it was most likely about rare earth minerals and unfriendly nations involvement in that country plus the lack of democratically elected government and drug trade into the US.

Given how the USA has been attacking the drug trade into the US from Venezuela, it seems very likely that that was a major factor. Unfriendly nations – well that’s probably a factor too, and incidentally Greenland appears to be at least partly about an unfriendly nation (China) doing too much there.
