Suddenly the Paris Agreement grows teeth

By Jo Nova

The EU Free Trade agreement would Weaponize the Paris Agreement

The Labor Party want to sign a deal with the EU which means that future Australian governments won’t be able to drop the Paris Agreement without being bludgeoned in trade by the EU. If we revise our Net Zero goals downwards or delay them the EU can cut access for our farmers to their markets. And the EU will be able to say they are not bullying us, or interfering with our sovereign rights, they are just enforcing a trade agreement we signed up for.

In the Labor Governments own words:

For the first time in a free trade agreement, Australia (and the EU) has made a binding commitment to implement obligations under the Paris Agreement on climate change.

— Australian Government, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Effectively Australian farmers or exporters to the EU will be held hostage by the EU to make sure we meet our Paris targets, even if we vote against Net Zero commitments. The deal has meaningless words like “Australia maintains the right to regulate in pursuit of its own public policy objectives” but if we […]

The Bubble Pops: Big Miner BHP quietly backs away from decarbonization

By Jo Nova

The ABC and the Guardian think they are onto some hot scandalous leak, but they don’t seem to realize the awful truth they are accidentally revealing.

This is not the story of an evil miner failing to make commitments, it’s the story of their technology fantasy busting. If wind and solar power were cheap, the profit hungry miners would be doing it wouldn’t they?

Instead all their ambitious plans are coming undone.

BHP is the largest mining company in the world, it has shareholder approval to spend millions on wind and solar projects and on the conversion to electric trucks. They also had an enthusiastic management and Net Zero targets, yet somehow the company has decided to drop or delay the wind and solar projects, and the low emissions processing plant too. It’s all been put in the deep freeze, delayed until 2031 before it even starts.

The truth is that the big electric haul trucks are not even close to being ready, and without the batteries to soak up the unreliable power, there was no point in spending a billion dollars on the wind and solar projects either yet.

Everything hinged on the electric […]

WHO tells itself to declare global climate health emergency “to save millions”

By Jo Nova

The WHO is itching to trigger the climate and health “Emergency” Powers Act or whatever legalistic bomb our patsy governments signed on our behalf.

Apparently millions of people will die if we don’t have a UN rubber stamp called “Emergency” to save them — because, obviously the big rich countries would never think to send boatloads of fuel, food and clothes all by themselves. (And if they did, Lordy! Without being a conduit for millions of our dollars, how could the UN run its own grift and graft machine?)

WHO Commission says alert would trigger coordinated international response that could help avoid millions dying

Anna Bawden Health and social affairs correspondent, The Guardian

The climate crisis should be declared a global public health emergency by the World Health Organization, or millions more people will die unnecessarily, leading international experts have said.

Presumably the “Emergency” declaration gives them the tools to declare mandatory vaccination, or ban drugs they don’t like, or to funnel lots of cash.

So the WHO set up a committee to tell the WHO to declare an emergency, eh?

The independent pan-European commission on climate and health, […]

UN is facing imminent financial collapse — Guterres begs for cash

By Jo Nova

It couldn’t happen to a nicer parasitic committee

This is what happens when you treat your main benefactor like an idiot, and do everything possible to turn them into a vassal state of the Globalist Blob. In return for $800 million a year the UN spreads Chinese bioweapons, and throws giant junkets to reward The Blob loyalists, but nothing for the average American taxpayer.

The US pays 22% of the regular UN budget, yet the UN has no respect for American voters or their choices.

UN Running Out of Cash, Trump Unmoved

by Antonio Graceffo, Gateway Pundit

Unless collections improve, Guterres warned, the UN will run out of cash by July 2026.

Wide-scale non-payment by member states has accelerated the crisis. In 2025, 42 of 193 member states failed to pay their assessments in full, and by the February 8, 2026 due date, only 55 countries had paid.

The United States is the dominant factor. Historically the UN’s largest contributor at 22 percent of the regular and peacekeeping budgets, roughly $820 million per year, the U.S. paid no dues at all in 2025 and accounts for approximately […]

Australia has new Blob Agency called the CDC to deal with the vaccine skeptics

By Jo Nova

The US CDC was one of the biggest institutional Big Government failures of the pandemic, and so naturally, Australia had to get one.

The aim of the new Australian Centre for Disease Control is not about our health per se, but to be an antidote to skepticism. No, seriously. They say that. The new Director General has “vowed to prioritise transparent medical evidence and proactive engagement with vaccine sceptics.”

You might think stopping Ebola and nixing bioweapons would be higher on the list? Silly you. This agency will get $250 million dollars over the next four years to basically help sell vaccines for starving multinational pharmaceutical giants. “Trust us” they say.

It’s another “Independent” agency that’s 100% dependent on Big Government funding, so it’s not independent at all. It will always serve its paymaster. They’ve already swallowed the full United Nations mantra — taking a One Health approach that recognises the link between your health, climate change, and the importance of a One World Government that you can’t vote out.

They may lie about their independence, but at least they are honest about their aims, and it has nothing to do with our health. Listen to […]

Big Banker Larry Fink abandons renewables for AI: “You cannot have intermittent power like solar and wind”

By Jo Nova

The Biggest Banker in the world has flipped

Way back in his 2021 annual CEO letter, Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, wrote: “No issue ranks higher than climate change.” It will reshape global capital flows, he said, and declared “…anyone can see the impact of climate change in the natural disasters in California or Florida.”

Now though, nevermind about global extinctions and flash floods. Fink just spoke at the Davos ski club for billionaires, and declared that we need “trillions of dollars” of investment for AI. Data centres, he said, are rapidly expanding — one technology company he spoke to said that “its data centres currently use about 5 gigawatts, but by 2030 it expects to need 30 gigawatts.”

But like a true banker, he doesn’t see a backflip, he sees only investment opportunities — the world is short of power he says. (He doesn’t say that this is in large part because BlackRock leaned on companies and countries all over the world to abandon fossil fuels.) Fink helped create the energy shortage that he now calls an investment opportunity. BlackRock is the largest asset manager in the world, controlling […]

Mass media trickery and deception about protests they don’t like

By Jo Nova

The information war goes on

This is just another public service announcement so nobody misses out on finding out just how far the media will prostitute themselves to trick the voters.

Two policemen were put in hospital at the March for Australia rally, but it was by rabid left leaning protestors throwing rocks, and bottles filled with broken glass. Despite that, the ABC didn’t even think it was worth mentioning at all and SBS used the violence to suggestively imply that both sides of the anti-mass-immigration protest were badly behaved.

The ABC said not one word about mass protests in every capital city, but they had time to tell Australians about anti-Trump No Kings March on the other side of the world and a tour of Japanese lamb-chop chefs. Even bunkers in Finland were more important. Priorities mate…

If a dozen people had turned up to protest climate change, they would have been on the news.

Victorian Police were understandably fed up. Commander Wayne Cheeseman was blunt — the violence was all from the left and the March for Australia crowd were peaceful and well behaved.

His words, from The Australian:

October 20th, 2025 | Tags: , , | Category: Australia, Big-Government, Politics | Print This Post Print This Post | |

March for Australia Against Mass Immigration is on again Sunday at 12 noon.

March for Australia Against Mass Immigration will be held in every major city as well as Grafton, Wodonga, Rockhampton, Townsville, Mackay, and Yeppoon. Take your Australian Flag!

People who want to print and drop flyers in letterboxes can find the PDF files here.

From their flyer: The questions that Australians should be able to discuss without ill-will:

What are you passing on to your children?

A NATION WITHOUT FAIR WAGES Not Enough Nurses? Instead of raising wages to attract more Australians, the government imports nurses from the third world – who are happy to work for less! Fair wage demands get ignored. This applies to any and all industries. Don’t count on unions, because diverse workplaces are less likely to unionise1. More Migration = Bigger Labour Pool = Weaker Bargaining Power for Australian Workers

A NATION WITHOUT HOUSING What do you think adding 7 million people to Australia’s population in 20 years does? Our housing shortfall is not a supply issue – it’s a mass migration issue. We will never meet demand, when demand is infinite.

A NATION WITHOUT SAFETY In Victoria, we’ve seen Africans murdering 12-year-olds by cutting […]

US Dept of War says “No more Climate Change Worship” no DEI, no dudes in dresses

By Jo Nova

We’re watching the slow collapse of the Net Zero, Gender identity bubble

Australia’s largest military ally announced a major change in direction yesterday — shucking the Woke Hair Shirt and baubles of diversity:

Hegseth boasted of “remov[ing] the social justice, politically correct and toxic ideological garbage that had infected our department”.

He added: “No more identity months, DEI offices, dudes in dresses. No more climate change worship, no more division, distraction or gender delusions, no more debris.”

But most Australians won’t know that. The Australian ABC carefully buried this big shift inside a story on the US budget battle. The transformation of US military values was dismissed as just a “pep-talk” for generals. The ABC showed Trump making an inconsequential joke, and Hegseth discussing physical fitness and shaving. In other words, the ABC wants you to think this was a fitness campaign for a”dysfunctional” government which can’t even pay its generals today. How many Australians would join the dots that the country we depend on for protection just shot down twenty years of leftist fashion bubbles? Where were the interviews with the Australian Deputy Director of Navy Diversity & Inclusion […]

Now they tell us: The FBI had 274 undercover agents at Capitol Hill on January 6th

By Jo Nova

The rot goes right to the top

In terms of The Blob, the deepest darkest forces of power, the ones that scare even The Bankers, are surely the spies with guns, especially if they are unaccountable, politically biased spies with guns.

For four years since the January 6 Capitol Hill riots, the FBI has refused to say how many agents it had in the crowd, even to Congress, or even to the US President. Now we find, after the denials, there were 274 plain clothes agents there on the day. Donald Trump says “Wow: A radical Left Democrat Scam.”

It puts a whole new meaning to the term “insurrection”. Hundreds of paid agents, armed, and pretending to be protesting the same government that paid them to be there?

Let’s not forget that the main outcome of the Capitol Hill riots was to draw attention away from a critical Senate debates about irregularities with the 2020 election. (Many Republican senators who has promised to object to the certification of Joe Biden withdrew their objections after the riot). It would also be a useful (if awful) tool to imprison nearly 1,000 protestors and thus terrorize and deter people […]

The fantasy land of “Fossil Fuel Subsidies” where even a car accident, a traffic jam are a subsidy

By Jo Nova

Paul Homewood came across another die-hard believer still saying “What about all the subsidies!” He reminds us of the Guardian headline hand-wringing over $7 Trillion dollars of subsidies in support of fossil fuels. The main source of this meme is the IMF, so I went to their two year old report data to create the graphs that the IMF won’t.

The IMF fossil fuel fantasy update of 2023…

The trillion dollar claims of fossil fuel subsidies amount to nothing more than IMF wet dream. Literally, 80% of the “subsidies” are what they’d like to charge oil and gas companies for things like the imaginary damage that CO2 does on simulated Earths in broken climate models. The IMF calls this “implicit subsidies”. You can I might call it a brazen fake (or worse).

The IMF has a budget of over $1 billion dollars a year, and they have 20 impenetrable super-graphs on their blog and report, but they don’t have the simple graphs like this, that I did below, showing that most of the subsidies are the “implied” imaginary sort, and that one country on Earth does all “the subsidies”. (Click to Enlarge…) Nobody mention China.

The Secret Ruling Class — Why the anonymous Blob needs to be invisible

By Jo Nova

The Class with No Name

Martin Durkin’s latest video exposes the stealthy rise of a secret new ruling class in society.

The most powerful class in society has been anonymously invisible, unnamed, and unnoticed, and this is key to its success. If the ruling class is named, the masses would be able to discuss the common motivations and interests of its members. While it has no name, it can disguise itself as separate neutral parties working to help “society”.

“An entire social class that has steadily grown in size and power over the past century — whose very existence, whose jobs and income depend on depriving the rest of us of our money and freedom.”

That this cloak of invisibility, it turns out, is exactly the way the Soviet bureaucrats worked. We know this, because, as Martin Durkin explains, it was described in 1957 by a man called Milovan Djilash in his book called The New Class. His book was smuggled out of Yugoslavia and printed in the US. It earnt him 15 years in jail — obviously he was speaking a dangerous truth.

Djilash had become appalled by the socialist system he […]

A Blobocrat Court rules that perfect weather is a “human right”

By Jo Nova

The Blob makes another move to expand their empire

A group of unelected officials in something called the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) has decided that humans have the “right” to a stable climate and thus, you have the right to pay for it. The court that nobody has heard of says “states have legal obligations to protect people alive today and future generations from the impacts of climate breakdown.”

This includes the obligation to cut emissions, and to guard against the threat of climate disinformation. (Yes, they know they are lying.)

Personally I’d prefer to have the right to free speech, real science, and laws written in simple English:

Countries must protect human right to a stable climate, court rules

Isabella Kaminski, The Guardian

There is a human right to a stable climate and states have a duty to protect it, a top court has ruled.

“Top court”, my foot.

Like pagan sorcery, the government is expected to stop storms, floods and droughts. Even though this is an impossible fantasy the mere attempt at managing the illusion of it will employ tens of thousands of lawyers, accountants, technicians, diplomats […]

China caught funding eco-lawfare suits in the USA to sabotage American energy dominance

By Jo Nova

It didn’t start that way, but it’s almost like Climate Change is just a Chinese trick…

The West’s ridiculously bloated legal system sits there like a radioactive duck. For a pittance, the Chinese Communist Party can sponsor climate lawsuits that cost US companies big money, tie them up in court, slow them down, and sometimes bankrupt them, and that’s for cases they don’t win.

For the other cases, left wing non-profits are running training programs for judges to indoctrinate them with climate ideology. (If we think some judges are crazy, perhaps they had help to get there?)

Senate Hearing Exposes China’s Role In Backing Climate Lawsuits Against U.S. Energy

By Olivia Rondeau, ClimateChangeDispatch

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is financially backing left-wing climate lawfare in the United States, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach, and dark money expert Scott Walter revealed the shady details while testifying before a Senate subcommittee on Wednesday.

According to Cruz, this campaign is a “three-pronged” approach.

“First, foreign money from entities tied to the Chinese Communist Party flows into the United States to bankroll climate advocacy groups who litigate […]

Looks like China uses small Green “climate” donations to help create $75b in economic damage

By Jo Nova

What an amplifier? The Chinese communist party quietly helped New York create a $75b climate SuperFund Law

That’s a lot of bang for their buck.

Imagine The Blob buddied up with China to lobby for a law that forced energy companies (and thus the shareholders and customers) to cough up $75 billion to fund green initiatives? The Blob gets more money to buy power and influence and buy favors from their friends. The Chinese Communists make their competitors energy more expensive, and thus all their products more costly, less competitive, their economy weaker. Suits every kind of grifter, eh?

But perhaps China just wants to save American whales right? Why else would the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) be so worried about US Emissions, but not their own? The CPC has been publicly lobbying for New York to legislate the “Climate Change Superfund Act — a bizarre retrospective law which would force energy companies to pay billions for past emissions back to the year 2000AD. Supposedly, companies like Exxonmobil, Shell, and others are going to pay $3 billion a year to help New York prepare for climate change. Though obviously, it will raise the price of energy […]

New AI data centers will use the same electricity as 2 million homes

By Jo Nova

The winds of change are howling through electricity grids

Since 2022, AI -related firms have stormed the S&P 500 market — growing by $12 trillion dollars.

The IEA just posted a whole report dedicated to AI. The demand from data-centers is so large in some places it is already rivaling the kind of monster consumption we are used to seeing from aluminum smelters. There are six states in the United States where data centers already consume over 10% of the electricity supply. In Ireland, data centers swallow about 20% of the electricity.

Currently, a normal data center consumes the same amount of electricity as 100,000 houses. But the new gargantuan data centers under construction will consume 20 times as much — equivalent to adding 2 million homes to the grid.

Data centers of the world are not spread evenly. In Virginia, the largest conglomeration of industrial data, their demand for power pulls in a quarter of the state’s electricity.

Australia is being left behind, because we won’t build coal plants in case we offend the UN, and we banned nuclear power as a fashion statement in 1998. The AI global race is on, but digital machines […]

LSE junk study says if men didn’t eat so much red meat we’d have nicer weather

By Jo Nova

They really do want to turn men into women

The men are the climate vandals who carelessly wreck the Earth. If they would just eat the tofu and drive less, the world would be a better place, eh, especially for bourgeois academic femmebots in London. This is the kind of junk research that Big Government funding feeds. Someone spent a lot of money, and nobody learnt a thing.

Naturally, The Guardian lapped it right up:

Car use and meat consumption drive emissions gender gap, research suggests

The Guardian

Ondine Berland, LSE Associate

Cars and meat are major factors driving a gender gap in greenhouse gas emissions, new research suggests.

Men emit 26% more planet-heating pollution than women from transport and food, according to a preprint study of 15,000 people in France. The gap shrinks to 18% after controlling for socioeconomic factors such as income and education.

But really the 26%-more-planet-polluting-men shrinks to a third once you account for men being, you know, bigger and more likely to travel further.

Eating red meat and driving cars explain almost all of the 6.5-9.5% difference in […]

Climate change is causing South Africa to rise and sink at the same time

By Jo Nova

A candidate for this years Cult Science Oscar:

The Coal Plant God is at it again — causing the oceans to swallow South Africa on the one hand and lifting up the land by 2mm a year with the other. (A lucky coincidence that disguises the horrors of rising seas, eh?). Apparently we used to think the land was rising due to hot plumes of magma far below, but now researchers say its because a drought has made the crustal plate lighter.

Even though no model can predict rainfall, everyone reading the tea-leaves, and editing newspapers, can see that climate change caused the drought.

Satellite data reveals climate change is lifting South Africa out of the ocean

Joshua Shavit, BrighterSide

Instead of heat from below, the Earth’s crust in parts of South Africa appears to be lifting due to water loss above. When surface and underground water vanish, the weight on the land decreases. That loss of pressure lets the land subtly spring upward, like a sponge expanding after being squeezed.

The precambrian crust under South Africa is some of the oldest in the world, and the research team proudly tells us […]

Why is the renewables industry allowed to sponsor political advertising in schools and call it “education”?

Jo Nova Programming and “pre-bunking” our children to vote Green — Boosting profits for years to come!

And you thought school textbooks were non-political…

Imagine the uproar if a coal company spent thousands of dollars to put lesson plans in schools to teach our children how to run activist lobby groups to get better subsidies and tax breaks for coal miners? Imagine these lessons even include instruction on how to fundraise, and ways to counter the anti-coal “misinformation and disinformation” ?

Indeed the ACCC banned the Commonwealth Bank’s Dollarmites program from Queensland schools because it contained “sophisticated marketing tactics”. But it wasn’t teaching children to write activist campaigns to lobby for tax breaks and subsidies for bankers.

Mike Cannon Brookes, Atlassian

Instead Mike Cannon Brookes, Mr $30 billion, has set up the Boundless Earth charity with a $15 to $30 million budget which generously sponsors a group called Cool org. They write “scripts for teachers” and tell the kiddies to walk to school or ride their bike while (as Tony Thomas reminds us) Mr Cannon-Brookes travels in his Bombardier Twin-jet.

It’s no tinker-toy project, already reaching 2.5 million Australian kids each year and 200,000 teachers. It’s a […]

Bombshell: Sir Tony Blair says climate policies are unworkable, irrational, and everyone is afraid of being called a denier

By Jo Nova

What a bomb to drop in the last days before the Australian election

Tony Blair, Photo by Piaras Ó Mídheach/Web Summit via Sportsfile

The aggressive climate action of the Australian Labor Party is suddenly wildly far out on a branch.

There are council elections in the UK, and Nigel Farage’s party is “expected to make large gains”. So as Ed Cummings in The Telegraph describes it, Tony Blair, former Prime Minister, “chose this moment to lob a large grenade”.

Blair is possibly the first person within the Blob to say what skeptics have been saying for years, as if he thought of it all by himself. He’s pulling the pin on the idea that “Net Zero” is sensible, possible, and essential, but this is no mea culpa — more like an escape plan. The populist parties are rising across Europe, grids are falling, and the failures of the Left are becoming too obvious.

Watch the pea — on the one hand, it’s good that an influential figure on the Left is saying that Net Zero is “riven with irrationality” and “unworkable” and “doomed to fail” but he’s tacitly pretending the left have figured this out […]
