Turns out, when they have a choice, the Brits don’t want Net Zero or Mass Immigration
The English Council Elections won’t change the UK parliament, but they are the largest most significant poll of the mood of Great Britain. How bad is it? Half the headlines about the PM Kier Starmer are quoting him vowing that he won’t be quitting. It’s that bad. Labour have lost 1,406 seats, and the Tories have lost 557.
Results are still being counted, but extraordinary things are happening. Nigel Farage’s Party — Reform UK — have stormed into more than 1,444 councilor seats in England (out of about 5,000), taken from Labour as well as the Tories. The Conservatives haven’t recovered. The Green wave didn’t happen. As Ross Clark said, “they were supposed to be ‘the insurgent party of the left’ and there was talk of them entering government as part of a left wing coalition”.
Restore Britain, is new party launched by ex-Reform MP Rupert Lowe, and endorsed by Elon Musk. They are so new, they only stood in 10 seats, but won all of them. Where Reform UK wants to stop the boats and deport illegal migrants. Restore UK […]

Yet another climate change heavyweight abandons ship
It’s the beginning of the end of the renewables fantasy, but there will be no apology — no admission they were wrong, or that thousands upon millions of people have suffered because of climate sorcery.
Watch as the billionaire who lectured us from private jets, pivots into word salad. Now he says we still have to solve climate change (whatever that means), but the doomsday view is wrong, and that awful carbon pollution “will not be the end of civilization.” He’s suddenly turned into a kind of Bjorn Lomborg. Forget Mitigation, say hello to Adaptation.
On the cusp of COP30 in Brazil, Bill Gates has launched a life raft for his reputation — a 17 page memo called Three tough truths about climate.
Bill Gates can see what’s coming (a reckoning for the renewables debacle), and he is repositioning himself so he doesn’t go down with the ship. Indeed, he’s almost writing an escape plan for the whole Blob. In a nutshell, he’s admitting between the lines that wind and solar power are unaffordable, and since climate change won’t actually be that catastrophic, everyone should calm down while […]

The rot goes right to the top
In terms of The Blob, the deepest darkest forces of power, the ones that scare even The Bankers, are surely the spies with guns, especially if they are unaccountable, politically biased spies with guns.
For four years since the January 6 Capitol Hill riots, the FBI has refused to say how many agents it had in the crowd, even to Congress, or even to the US President. Now we find, after the denials, there were 274 plain clothes agents there on the day. Donald Trump says “Wow: A radical Left Democrat Scam.”
It puts a whole new meaning to the term “insurrection”. Hundreds of paid agents, armed, and pretending to be protesting the same government that paid them to be there?
Let’s not forget that the main outcome of the Capitol Hill riots was to draw attention away from a critical Senate debates about irregularities with the 2020 election. (Many Republican senators who has promised to object to the certification of Joe Biden withdrew their objections after the riot). It would also be a useful (if awful) tool to imprison nearly 1,000 protestors and thus terrorize and deter people […]

The Blob cometh to shake some more money out of us
Australia is due to set a global weather target for 2035 in September, so the UN sent a former Minister of Climate Resilience from Grenada to poke pins in his Voodoo dolls on national TV. He invoked the No-Fruit Incantation and prophesied that Australians will only get one bit of fruit a year, which is 99.7% reduction from current production levels of 150 kilograms per capita. No one batted an eyelid. The ABC repeated it all, unquestioningly.
What no one said, was that thanks to the horrors of extra CO2 the world now grows twice as much fruit for every, man women and child, as we did in 1960. It’s that bad.
In toto, following The “UN Science” — fossil fuels have thus caused total global production of fruit to increase five fold. Even though we were besieged by all those droughts and floods, fungus, rat plagues and jellyfish, somehow we all grew five times as much fruit.
As we can see, this is the total collapse of global living standards, graphed by the OWID:
Perhaps being ludicrous is the point?
There […]

The Class with No Name
Martin Durkin’s latest video exposes the stealthy rise of a secret new ruling class in society.
The most powerful class in society has been anonymously invisible, unnamed, and unnoticed, and this is key to its success. If the ruling class is named, the masses would be able to discuss the common motivations and interests of its members. While it has no name, it can disguise itself as separate neutral parties working to help “society”.
“An entire social class that has steadily grown in size and power over the past century — whose very existence, whose jobs and income depend on depriving the rest of us of our money and freedom.”
That this cloak of invisibility, it turns out, is exactly the way the Soviet bureaucrats worked. We know this, because, as Martin Durkin explains, it was described in 1957 by a man called Milovan Djilash in his book called The New Class. His book was smuggled out of Yugoslavia and printed in the US. It earnt him 15 years in jail — obviously he was speaking a dangerous truth.
Djilash had become appalled by the socialist system he […]

The Blob makes another move to expand their empire
A group of unelected officials in something called the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) has decided that humans have the “right” to a stable climate and thus, you have the right to pay for it. The court that nobody has heard of says “states have legal obligations to protect people alive today and future generations from the impacts of climate breakdown.”
This includes the obligation to cut emissions, and to guard against the threat of climate disinformation. (Yes, they know they are lying.)
Personally I’d prefer to have the right to free speech, real science, and laws written in simple English:
Countries must protect human right to a stable climate, court rules
Isabella Kaminski, The Guardian
There is a human right to a stable climate and states have a duty to protect it, a top court has ruled.
“Top court”, my foot.
Like pagan sorcery, the government is expected to stop storms, floods and droughts. Even though this is an impossible fantasy the mere attempt at managing the illusion of it will employ tens of thousands of lawyers, accountants, technicians, diplomats […]

What a bomb to drop in the last days before the Australian election
Tony Blair, Photo by Piaras Ó Mídheach/Web Summit via Sportsfile
The aggressive climate action of the Australian Labor Party is suddenly wildly far out on a branch.
There are council elections in the UK, and Nigel Farage’s party is “expected to make large gains”. So as Ed Cummings in The Telegraph describes it, Tony Blair, former Prime Minister, “chose this moment to lob a large grenade”.
Blair is possibly the first person within the Blob to say what skeptics have been saying for years, as if he thought of it all by himself. He’s pulling the pin on the idea that “Net Zero” is sensible, possible, and essential, but this is no mea culpa — more like an escape plan. The populist parties are rising across Europe, grids are falling, and the failures of the Left are becoming too obvious.
Watch the pea — on the one hand, it’s good that an influential figure on the Left is saying that Net Zero is “riven with irrationality” and “unworkable” and “doomed to fail” but he’s tacitly pretending the left have figured this out […]

Isn’t it time we talk about The attempted Coup (and the media)?
…
In the two weeks since Elon Musk spoke to Joe Rogan for three hours, the media has ignored it, trivialized it, or reduced it to “Elon tries to explain his Nazi salute”. Here was the richest man in the world, best friends with the most powerful man on Earth and he’s talking without an autocue, walking through the underbelly of the US government and describing the “greatest scam in human history” and the media are discussing the weather.
Thanks to DOGE we now know that the US government spent $270 million on 6,200 journalists, which presumably buys a lot of “Nothing to see here”. Which is exactly why I feel an urge to pass this on.
What Musk describes is the ultimate pork barrelling
Instead of giving our tax dollars to buy votes in marginal seats, it looks like the Democrats were giving away the country, to buy voters to fill marginal states, so they could stay in power. By offering up free houses, free healthcare and free citizenship to non-citizens, as Musk describes it, the Democrats (really, the whole Blob) […]

Such is the network of the Blob, even here in the last outpost of Western Civilization, in the city furthest on Earth from Washington DC, The ABC Blob TV news made sure we knew that Robert F Kennedy Jnr was a “headache” for Donald Trump, and a guy who believed wild conspiracy theories and hung out with quacks. Yesterday they prepared us for his confirmation hearings by interviewing his cousin. She called him a predator.
What they would not show Australians is a few minutes of Kennedy speaking for himself, discussing medical studies in intricate detail. Apparently Australians don’t need to know that not even one US childhood vaccine was pretested in a long term placebo controlled trial. They just need the family gossip about the man who might be a health minister soon in a foreign country.
This was our national prime time news.
Our ABC Blob TV, paid by us, replayed the Congressional critics, hid Kennedy’s replies, and also hid that Big Pharma money was greasing the palms of most of the critics. RFK Jnr is roughly the Antichrist to Big Pharma, so looking for Big Pharma influence among his critics is the obvious […]
Bask in the hypocrisy — the concern about CO2 is faked
Climate change is The Greatest Threat on Earth but the Merchants of Panic don’t really care if we reduce CO2. Follow what they do, not what they say. This is our last chance to save the planet, but they won’t consider nuclear energy — apparently the planet is just not that important. Nor will they consider Ultra Super Critical hot burning coal, which could reduce emissions by 15% at a stroke. Likewise fracking. Instead, the answer to everything is always inefficient, government-dependent industries and trading schemes. These schemes don’t reduce much CO2, but they reward the patrons of big-government and punish the opponents. They suck money from independent corporations, and churn that cash through the “renewables” cheer-squad, the financial houses, and the groups that profit from keeping the climate scare going. Ponder that the EU had a monster emissions trading scheme, but the USA cut far more emissions — thanks to fracking and no thanks to any fake “free market”. The bottom line is that we may face the Anthropocene Mass Extinction Event, but apparently things are not so bad that the Greens will consider fracking. The big […]
UPDATE: See what David Hone from Shell thought. He went and discovered the “”vegan” “low tech” element who talk of annihilating coal.
Tyndall Centre UK has just held The Radical Emission Reduction Conference: 10-11 December 2013. This is their logo:
Things have to go “radical” now, because there are no sensible pragmatic or long term solutions left:
“About the conference Today, in 2013, we face an unavoidably radical future. We either continue with rising emissions and reap the radical repercussions of severe climate change, or we acknowledge that we have a choice and pursue radical emission reductions: No longer is there a non- radical option. Moreover, low-carbon supply technologies cannot deliver the necessary rate of emission reductions – they need to be complemented with rapid, deep and early reductions in energy consumption – the rationale for this conference.
These people are seriously discussing reductions of energy of 8%, not just by 2020, but every year.
“… More specifically the conference will consider how to deliver reductions in energy consumption of at least 8% per year (~60% across a decade). It will foster an up-beat and can-do mentality.
