Royal in Range Rover asks everyone else to Reset

Prince William wraps himself in the UpperClass Climate Club Fashion du jour

UK FlagUK FlagUK Flag

Prince William, Kate, Harry.

After all the hoo-ha with Megan and Harry, somehow the harangued Duke thought that standing with the bankers, multinational corporations and Tech Giants while pressing the Public Guilt Button would endear him with the people?

Or perhaps he’s just hoping to buy a bit of protection from the thought police? Boy, is he in for a surprise. Every flight he gets on will be mocked by both sides.

PRINCE WILLIAM has been blasted for his latest message about climate change, with people pointing out on social media that he and his family drive Range Rovers and frequently take private jet flights.

Abbie Lewellyn, The Express

In a video message broadcast at the Conservation International Gala in the UK, the Duke of Cambridge called for humanity to “reset our relationship with nature and our trajectory as a species” in order to avoid a climate disaster. He said the next decade will be “one of our greatest tests” and he warned that the most vulnerable people around the world would be most hit by the devastating effects of climate change. While many have applauded William’s efforts to tackle the climate crisis, which includes the £50million Earshot (sic) Prize, he has also been criticised for perceived double-standards.

The Duke of Cambridge has said humanity needs to ‘fundamentally reset our relationship with nature and our trajectory as a species’ to avoid climate disaster.

By definition Prince William is the most Upper of the Upperclass. He is Uber-class, but it’s still not enough. He seems to have held out against the Upper-mob-warriors longer than most. But there is no denying the cult.

It’s like the Monarchy have a death wish — picking up the globalist aim against the interests of their own people. How’s all the pomp and pageantry going to look as the punters’ electricity bills rise?

Long live the Queen. Fifty more years should do it.

I wonder if the Royals-or anyone else- will like it when the consequences of Net zero are actually spelt out to the British public with the consequences.

    This is the introductory article

    http://clivebest.com/blog/?p=9899

The article then goes to the source of the sacrifices they want us to make to achieve net zero from the link “A group of academics:’ which turns out to be academics living in cloud cuckoo land

This is a fabulously expensive scheme that will turn society upside down and inside out and will result in no measurable temperature difference as we bankrupt our society. The rest of the world-far greater contributors to co2 than us- will observe our self immolation with amazement

It is from a group of academics who have delved into how net zero would work as regards the situation with heat pumps, the banning of gas boilers, the phasing out of cars, reducing the temperatures in buildings and lots of other things the public would hate.

But necessary measures for any nation signed up to Paris and determined to wreck their economy and impoverish society

Those responsible for the vast majority of co2 emissions such as China and India, must be looking at the western lemmings jumping over the cliff in front of their eyes, in complete disbelief.

Its the world of the green equivelent if 4 legs good, 2 legs bad.

Except the globalists and thier Satanic eco religion really do appear to consider it a religious duty to rid the world of 95% of the global population, regardless of what it takes.

Dont forget WW3 is also now starting to form on the horizon. It wont be fought with pop guns and fairy flosss…

Countries partaking in WWIII will still be expected to meet their Paris commitments. How many trees do you have to buy to offset a carrier battle group or a squadron of F-35s?🤔
And destroyed cities will be so much cleaner having been rebuilt without the use of fossil fuel powered bulldozers and excavators.
          It’s all upside.

We must ask our enemies if the war can be fought on sunny days with lots of wind so the renewables can regenerate. Also it would be best fought on the flat as driving tanks up hills takes so much more energy.

I cant see how any enemy could possibly object to any of that. Perhaps we can add these conditions to the Geneva Convention on warfare?

One wonders about this alleged “joke”….

“In 1988, the Duke of Edinburgh joked about deadly viruses when speaking to Deutsche Press Agentur.

          “Prince Philip reportedly said:

“In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation.”

That quote was taken completely out of context. Here is the context

“I just wonder what it would be like to be reincarnated in an animal whose species had been so reduced in numbers than it was in danger of extinction. What would be its feelings toward the human species whose population explosion had denied it somewhere to exist… I must confess that I am tempted to ask for reincarnation as a particularly deadly virus.” ― Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh[2] (in his Foreward to: If I Were an Animal; United Kingdom, Robin Clark Ltd., 1986.)

Would be interesting to see if said academics have undertaken previous assessments and how well they are working out.

I am yet to see a favourable review of a heat pump water heater. Where the unit consistently cut electricity cost and has worked reliably for more than 5 years.

Speaking of history, this recent post highlights that GISS v4 unadjusted has miraculously found 104 “new” sites with weather records going back to 1882 that did not exist in GISS v3 unadjusted:

    https://notrickszone.com/2021/04/06/nasa-giss-keeps-warming-the-data-and-mysteriously-comes-out-with-104-new-stations-going-back-to-1882/

This includes 11 “new” stations in Australia. Not only is that interesting, but the chart of the original six Australian weather stations included in GISS v3 homogenised clearly shows that historical temperatures extend well before the 1910 cut off date set by the BoM in developing their ACORN data set.

I wonder how GISS gets its Australian temperature data, and why it should change so dramatically.

The resulting report identified that all adjustments had cooled the past – that did not get a mention in any press or parliament.

The BoM have implemented a quality control process for station changes where all changes are logged and electronic records are being maintained for the changes. A lot of work in the documentation and some useful information now readily available.

Homogenisation has become a sanctioned practice. No one really cares.

The most glaring weakness in the BoM and CSIRO fiddles is the need to cool the past in their ACCESS model for the Nino34 region. To maintain a warming trend in this region where there is none and cannot be one because the surface temperature is thermostatically limited, there has to be significant and obviously ridiculous cooling of the past. The 1980 to 2000 model hindcast for the Nino34 region is 3 degrees Kelvin cooler than actual.

I followed your link and found one person who commented that finding new stations is called “incremental improvements” to a data set. Maybe is all I can say.

A problem with the adjusted NOAA GHCN data, which cools the 1930s in the U.S. of A. hugely compared to the present is rarely mentioned and is this: It doesn’t fit the non-numeric metadata available. You can read dozens of newspaper and magazine articles and even peer reviewed work in journals such as The Monthly Weather Review about how hot is (at publication time in the 1930s) compared to decades before. The prevalence of such articles at the time and their dearth in decades before and afterward suggest it truly was hot. If you look at the adjusted data from NOAA or GISS you will find that it has become an ordinary portion of a trend and not worthy of special mention. The stark contrast is not credible. Someone will soon find an ad hoc rationalization, I am sure.

During the 1930s the UK Parliament created an Act of Parliament removing all of the powers of a monarch and including Commonwealth of Nations members.

In Australia 1980s the Australia Act of Parliament was passed reinforcing the UK Act and confirming the independence of the Commonwealth of Australia, Federation of States.

The present Queen is a figurehead and her involvement is ceremonial and in accordance with our Constitution and as advised by our Prime Minister through the permanent Head of State here, the Governor General.

Republicans focus on the Queen as a diversionary tactic, they say Australia must be independent, but we are, and for example the the High Court of Australia is the last court of appeal.

Forget their net ZERO nonsense here’s another new study that seeks to find another answer.

Another new study that ties solar variability to the onset of decadal la nina events . Who knows the entire or precise mechanism but energy from the Sun does ultimately drive our climate system.

And over decades, centuries and thousands of years energy is stored in the oceans and oscillations change and of course over time our climate also changes. Sometimes we have more agreeable climate (since end of the LIA) and life, humans + new tech can flourish.

See link and summary of the study.

    NEWS RELEASE 5-APR-2021
“New study ties solar variability to the onset of decadal La Nina events”

Authors apply a 22-year solar clock to find an elusive correlation

NATIONAL CENTER FOR ATMOSPHERIC RESEARCH/UNIVERSITY CORPORATION FOR ATMOSPHERIC RESEARCH

    Research News

“A new study shows a correlation between the end of solar cycles and a switch from El Nino to La Nina conditions in the Pacific Ocean, suggesting that solar variability can drive seasonal weather variability on Earth.

“If the connection outlined in the journal Earth and Space Science holds up, it could significantly improve the predictability of the largest El Nino and La Nina events, which have a number of seasonal climate effects over land. For example, the southern United States tends to be warmer and drier during a La Nina, while the northern U.S. tends to be colder and wetter.

“Energy from the Sun is the major driver of our entire Earth system and makes life on Earth possible,” said Scott McIntosh, a scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and co-author of the paper. “Even so, the scientific community has been unclear on the role that solar variability plays in influencing weather and climate events here on Earth. This study shows there’s reason to believe it absolutely does and why the connection may have been missed in the past.”

The study was led by Robert Leamon at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, and it is also co-authored by Daniel Marsh at NCAR. The research was funded by the National Science Foundation, which is NCAR’s sponsor, and the NASA Living With a Star program.

    Applying a new solar clock

The appearance (and disappearance) of spots on the Sun — the outwardly visible signs of solar variability — have been observed by humans for hundreds of years. The waxing and waning of the number of sunspots takes place over approximately 11-year cycles, but these cycles do not have distinct beginnings and endings. This fuzziness in the length of any particular cycle has made it challenging for scientists to match up the 11-year cycle with changes happening on Earth.

In the new study, the researchers rely on a more precise 22-year “clock” for solar activity derived from the Sun’s magnetic polarity cycle, which they outlined as a more regular alternative to the 11-year solar cycle in several companion studies published recently in peer-reviewed journals.

The 22-year cycle begins when oppositely charged magnetic bands that wrap the Sun appear near the star’s polar latitudes, according to their recent studies. Over the cycle, these bands migrate toward the equator — causing sunspots to appear as they travel across the mid-latitudes. The cycle ends when the bands meet in the middle, mutually annihilating one another in what the research team calls a terminator event. These terminators provide precise guideposts for the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next.

The researchers imposed these terminator events over sea surface temperatures in the tropical Pacific stretching back to 1960. They found that the five terminator events that occurred between that time and 2010-11 all coincided with a flip from an El Nino (when sea surface temperatures are warmer than average) to a La Nina (when the sea surface temperatures are cooler than average). The end of the most recent solar cycle — which is unfolding now — is also coinciding with the beginning of a La Nina event.

“We are not the first scientists to study how solar variability may drive changes to the Earth system,” Leamon said. “But we are the first to apply the 22-year solar clock. The result — five consecutive terminators lining up with a switch in the El Nino oscillation — is not likely to be a coincidence.”

In fact, the researchers did a number of statistical analyses to determine the likelihood that the correlation was just a fluke. They found there was only a 1 in 5,000 chance or less (depending on the statistical test) that all five terminator events included in the study would randomly coincide with the flip in ocean temperatures. Now that a sixth terminator event — and the corresponding start of a new solar cycle in 2020 — has also coincided with an La Nina event, the chance of a random occurrence is even more remote, the authors said.

The paper does not delve into what physical connection between the Sun and Earth could be responsible for the correlation, but the authors note that there are several possibilities that warrant further study, including the influence of the Sun’s magnetic field on the amount of cosmic rays that escape into the solar system and ultimately bombard Earth. However, a robust physical link between cosmic rays variations and climate has yet to be determined.

“If further research can establish that there is a physical connection and that changes on the Sun are truly causing variability in the oceans, then we may be able to improve our ability to predict El Nino and La Nina events, McIntosh said”.

It is becoming more obvious that the whole concept of renewable energy has become about ownership of sales but no accountability of the consequences or desired outcome.

Tracking expenditure on climate change action from 2012 to 2019 it appears that total investment was USD$3.5 trillion. Probably more.

That is an average of USD$441 billion per year.

At the same time industrial output of CO2 has shown average growth of 1% per year.

So, USD$441 billion per year on average with CO2 output of 35.84 billion tonnes per year on average equals to USD$12.31 per tonne of CO2.

This means that we have paid USD$12.31 per tonne of CO2 to increase it, instead of decreasing it.

Atmospheric concentration of CO2 has climbed up at the rate of 0.57% per year on average from 2012 to 2019.

Now, if the whole objective was to reduce CO2 using renewable energy but it hasn’t achieved that objective, the real question remains: Who is accountable for the loss of USD$3.5 trillion?

    100

    • #
      PeterS

With the money we wasted so far on renewables we we could have built several nuclear power stations and reduced our power emissions to 0% by now. Not to worry, apparently we have lots of time to get to 0% in spite of the alleged urgency by so many renewable peddlers. It’s pretty clear it’s all about the money for big business and a number of globalists who love money far more than they love people.

There is only secret in freemasonry and that is there are no secrets. Freemasonry started around 1717. I didn’t start with Solomon’s Temple.Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are both Catholics, both barred from receiving Holy Communion due to their attitudes to abortion and their support for it.

LOL … very analogous to Trump’s BIG LIE about the Dems stealing the election.

The conspiracy was SO HUUUUGE that the proof of the theft is that there is no proof! Giuliani (or perhaps the Kraken Lady) actually tried that argument in a court somewhere … the judge booted them out – not unreasonably.

4-6-21 Biden has introduced a new $2 trillion infrastructure package that promises to upfit our nation’s crumbling roads and bridges. Ironically enough, it also apportions $20 billion for the dismantling of roads and highways that social justice warriors (SJWs) claim are “racist.”
You see, “improving infrastructure” has two different meanings depending on whether you are Republican or Democrat. The former recognizes that improving infrastructure means repaving and restructuring roads and bridges while adding more of them wherever needed. To Democrats, though, improving infrastructure means tearing it down if special interest groups see its location as “racist.” “It’s true that much of Biden’s plan is not traditional infrastructure,” writes Michael Grunwald for Politico.
“It proposes huge investments in scientific research, clean energy research and medical research – although of course it refers to that spending as ‘research infrastructure.’ It would subsidize electric cars and buses as well as electric “charging infrastructure,’ while investing in energy-efficiency upgrades for homes and schools, semiconductor manufacturing, affordable housing, new child care facilities and ‘community college infrastructure,’ more commonly known as ‘community colleges.’” https://www.naturalnews.com/2021-04-06-biden-spending-plan-dismantling-roads-highways-racist.html

Tertiary butylhydroquinone, or TBHQ, is added to more than 1,250 food products, many of them marketed for children. The latest data shows that it suppresses immunity, which is especially concerning during a global “pandemic.” https://www.naturalnews.com/2021-04-06-preservative-childrens-food-products-damages-immune-system.html

The Washington State Department of Health has received over one hundred reports of covid-19 in fully vaccinated individuals. These cases were reported to epidemiologists more than two weeks after the vaccinated individuals received their second dose. Health authorities are now referring to these post vaccination covid-19 positives as “breakthrough cases.” https://www.naturalnews.com/2021-04-06-over-100-fully-vaccinated-people-have-contracted-covid-washington.html

The National Institutes of Health has “systematically thwarted” government oversight of dangerous pathogen research, Rutgers University professor of chemical biology Richard H. Ebright told the Daily Caller News Foundation. The P3CO Review Framework was created in 2017 after a three-year pause on government funding of research that intentionally makes pathogens more deadly or transmissible. An NIH grant that involved the modification of bat-based coronaviruses and the transfer of $600,000 to the Wuhan Institute of Virology prior to the pandemic bypassed P3CO review because the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, didn’t flag the project for review. https://myvalleynews.com/blog/2021/04/05/us-grant-to-wuhan-lab-to-enhance-bat-based-coronaviruses-was-never-scrutinized-by-hhs-review-board-nih-says/

I am generally not a fan of ad hominem attacks on climate change champions – on the grounds that they themselves are big consumers and carbon-burners. Or they catch planes to gigs, and all that puerile stuff.

But in the recent time-span, the three that give me the screaming willies are Al Gore, John Kerry, and now Prince William. He cannot be serious (as John McEnroe woulda said) – even if his message is a really strong one, I would like to see him (or Charles, or Betty, or any of them) just show a little hippie style sometimes, and cut their carbon footprint.

As someone said, Diana wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, and Charles suffers from 1200 years of rather haphazard and unfortunate in-breeding, so I guess we should expect too much from William and Harry.

Charlie’s grandmother did not come from Royal Blood. Also William’s mother was not from Royal Blood. Archie’s mother is definitely not royal blood :-).

I didn’t say “royal blood” … just stating the obvious that any given royal has come from a fairly tight gene pool, given they’ve been going at least since King Stephen. Not sure Prince Harry has any “royal blood” on either side of the blanket.

      Tilba

      your quote.

“Charles suffers from 1200 years of rather haphazard and unfortunate in-breeding”

      end quote.

      my comment.

Again you outdo yourself in stating your own Tilba fact.

      You are wrong again.

      Seriously do some study.

Don’t make a fool of yourself, on a statement that is easily challenged.

What you stated is not true.

If you present a lie as truth, how can I believe what you post?

      end comment.

          Curious George,

I am not always right and I am not infallible.

I do believe free debate is integral to a free society, so I thankyou for your reply.

          my background.

For 27 years I submitted reports to the NSW coroners court.

I can’t present hearsay as fact to the court.

          OK, Re Tilba,

          His quote from post #28.

“Charles suffers from 1200 years of rather haphazard and unfortunate in-breeding.”

          end quote.

          My comment.

If this is true then Tilba can supply Charles’s geneology from 821 Ad…. Imho He can’t.
His statement is misleading, suggesting a premise he can’t document or prove… imho exaggeration.

If Tilba makes a statement at #28, then it is on record.
If I present an opinion. I make that clear.

          end comment.

Tilba referred to King Stephen at 28.1.1

          his quote.

“stating the obvious that any given royal has come from a fairly tight gene pool, given they’ve been going at least since King Stephen.”

          end quote.

          my comment.

King Stephen ruled from 1135 to 1154.
So we have Tilba stating 1200 years ago at post #28… to (at least) 886 years ago at post No 28.1.1.

I was a former investigator, for an emergency service.

Imho. Tilbas’ statements contradict. We would call that an unreliable source.
His statements would not stand up in court.

Do I need to go on?

I ask why you need my “thoroughly documented” post,
when Tilba ties himself up in contradiction?

Just investigate CG, the facts are there, you don’t need me.

Btw Charles is not a royal descendant of King Stephen.

          end comment.

Stay well CG…. Always question, I love that you and others do.

    Wills loves his Range Rover…
Saw an article on Yahoo the other day that made much of the fact that the US apparently needed to end its love affair with the car.

Interesting – having lived in PNG where many of the locals rely on PMVs to get around, and company buses to get to work their opportunities are drastically limited, and what an impact it makes. I had a company vehicle take me to the factory each day and at night I was essentially confined, and apart from the immediate area it was impossible to go far afield.

With a very large percentage in Western countries relying on cars to actually be able to get around Greenies efforts to drastically limit or remove cars will have enormous negative impacts. No more far flung suburbs as huge high rises all round the city and other centres will become par for the course. No more easy trips to see friends, or go to the beach, or bushwalking, or to pick up items at some distance from your house. Work opportunities become severely limited.

But this is the future Wills apparently wants, except for him and his family and friends of course…
