Trump says that Saint Greta is a troublemaker

Thunberg complained about having to sit on a hard surface for a while.
It’s too bad she didn’t inquire about the welfare of the Israeli hostages still held by the Hamas terrorists she was there to support and the horrific conditions the hostages are being kept under including physical and mental torture.
And after all the publicity about the “aid” flotilla, it turned out they were carrying none whatsoever.
Thunberg ought to be a lesson to woke parents everywhere as to why they shouldn’t take their child out of school and matket them as a celebrity troublemaker. What will Thunberg do now that she no longer markets “climate change” or “Palestine”? What is she good for now with no education and no clue and no longer a slightly marketable “innocent child”?

What is she good for now with no education and no clue and no longer a slightly marketable “innocent child”?
Some may say “Only fans”. I wouldn’t. Some people must have a fetish for being told, “How dare you?”.
On the other hand, she could always go back to school and work her way up to flipping burgers.

If you want to lose weight I suggest you eat less calories than you consume. A much simpler diet. As a bonus, you may save some money too.
With regard to a keto or carnivore diet, I’ve looked for them in the supermarket but I don’t see them in the vegie nor meat aisle. And how do you cook a carnivore, (lion or tiger)?
I’d prefer to say that I’m on an endangered species diet but that’s just to upset the gen Z’s in the room.

Tried both a calorie-reduced and low carb diets. The keto diet won hands down for weight loss and I found it simpler to follow.

There are a number of examples of excellent scientific conclusions drawn from observations. One that springs to mind is electricity.
“A TREATISE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF SMOKE IN ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
By Joseph Lucas (Inventor of the short circuit)
All electrical components and wiring harnesses depend on proper circuit functioning, which is the transmission of charged ions by the retention of the visible spectral manifestation known as smoke. Smoke is the thing that makes electrical circuits work. Smoke is the key to all things electrical.
We know this to be true because every time one lets the smoke out of an electrical circuit it stops working. This can be verified repeatedly through empirical testing. If one places a copper bar across the terminals of a battery, prodigious quantities of smoke are liberated and the battery shortly ceases to function. In addition, if one observes smoke escaping from an electrical component such as a Lucas voltage regulator it will be observed that the component no longer functions.
The logic is elementary and inescapable. The function of the wiring harness is to conduct the smoke from one device to another. When the wiring harness springs a leak and lets all the smoke out of the system, nothing works afterwards.”
When we look at manmade climate change, the same level of scientific competence is applied. According to the UN, climate change can only be caused either by natural variation in total solar irradiance (tsi) or man’s activities. The natural variation in tsi is zero and to back this up, they are prepared to massage errant data to bring it in to line. They are even prepared to unselfishly apply their combined brain power to come up with very imaginative reasons for instruments that stray from the predetermined results and apply a magical correction factor. So logically, climate change can only be caused by man’s activities. This logic is also elementary and inescapable. QED. Man’s activities are to climate change as smoke is to electrical circuits and has the same level of irrefutable observation, evidence and empirical testing. Any other explanations are as inaccurate or inconvenient as trying to blame electrons for electrical circuits. And we also have the amazing and totally incontestable circular reasoning. For instance, we know manmade climate change caused Hurricane Beryl, because Hurricane Beryl was caused by manmade climate change. Simple really.
[A copy of the old original https://marlborough4x4club.weebly.com/a-treatise-on-the-importance-of-smoke.html – Jo]
140
Yes serialbrat, I find that the only man-made activity causing Climate-change is the men/women altering data that you refer to. This activity within our own Bureau of Meteorology , where it is called “homogenisation”, a process first seen in the processing of cows milk for the consumption by the populace. Another misuse of language in our Orwellian times.

In my previous submission about the censorship bill:
https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/sites/default/files/documents/acma2023-31735-david-s-maddison.pdf
On page 13 I mentioned about the sparseness of historic worldwide temperature data. Decent data was only available for USA and Canada, Western Europe, Australia and NZ up until about the 1950’s. Even in Australia the BoM simply ignores data before 1910. There is almost no data for the rest of the world. It’s been made up, by BoM’s “homogenisation” process or similar to fill in temperature data which never existed because it was never recorded.
So the whole concept of global temperature and supposed warming, in the absence of weather station data and before satellite measurements started is essentially meaningless
130
The chart is no longer at the original source I obtained it from (but it’s still in my submission).

Good point David, except, according to NASA: Satellites don’t directly measure temperature or the surface where people live. Instead, they measure the brightness of Earth’s atmosphere. Scientists then use computer models to convert this brightness data into temperature information.
To make matters more challenging, scientists gather brightness data from more than 16 different satellites. Think of it like receiving a box of puzzle pieces without a picture to guide you on how to complete the puzzle. Experts face a similar puzzle-solving task as they work with data from satellites that were launched in different decades since 1978. They must figure out how all these pieces fit together to create a coherent picture of Earth’s temperature.
Satellites measure the brightness of Earth’s atmosphere at various altitudes. For instance, they capture data from the layer of air closest to where people live, roughly the height where birds and airplanes fly. Scientists then combine and analyze these measurements, extending to about 23,000 feet (approximately 7,000 meters) in the atmosphere.
In summary, while satellites provide valuable information about Earth’s temperature, ground thermometers are considered more reliable because they directly measure the temperature where people reside. Satellite data require complex processing and modelling to convert brightness measurements into temperature readings, making ground thermometers a more direct and accurate source of temperature information for us. https://science.nasa.gov/climate-change/faq/which-measurement-is-more-accurate-taking-earths-surface-temperature-from-the-ground-or-from-space/.
So, given the tinkering with ground based temperatures, it would appear that satellite data is probably worse because it is so open to “interpretation” and manipulation. And, of course it is not transparent and only available once it has been through the computer sausage machine.
Thanks for the reference Jo.

The method of turning measurement into temperature for the UAH data set is not opaque. It is clearly set out by Christy and Spencer. It has the advantage of high resolution spatial coverage and has been a consistent format for 40 years now. They have made corrections based on satellite descent/mission and other variables but every measurement method requires some form of recalibration to remain reliable over long periods of time.
The NOAA Reynolds optimally interpolated ocean surface temperature data combines satellite with fixed and moving buoy temperature measurements. All temperature measurements are based on some physical response to the temperature. The great value of radiation measurement is that it can be done remotely and give broad spatial coverage. Most body temperature measiurents are now non-contact.
The global average temperature has to increase in the preset era simply because the solar intensity in the NH is increasing (has been since 1700) and the NH has 3.5 times the temperature response to solar forcing as the SH.
The current energy imbalance is driven by reduction in reflectivity so more sunlight is being thermalised rather than reflected. That is due to some degree by the temporary loss of snow/ice cover as the NH warms up. But Greenland is already gaining altitude so reglaciation is now under way as previously observed when the NH land has been mostly free of ice and the solar intensity in the NH started increasing.
Precession of Earth’s orbit is by far the dominant driver of climate change in human history.
https://i0.wp.com/wattsupwiththat.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/image-58.png?resize=720%2C361&quality=75&ssl=1
And precession of the orbit remains the dominant driver in current times but solar activity and the Sun’s z-axis position are influential in shorter time scale; both showing up in good temperature records like UAH.

DM,
Remedy in progress.
I have selected the 70-odd BOM weather stations with the longest years of raw data for Tmax and Tmin with least missing data. For each station I am downloading the daily and annual temperatures and doing the usual time series plot with the linear least squares regression to derive the rate of temperature change over 100 years. I have done 18 stations in the first 2 days of the project, in order of longest data first.
I intend to combine the regression rates and average them over the 70 sites to give a measure of century warming that is NOT area weighted but has good national geographic coverage and NO adjustments to cause bias.
On prelim results, looks like we can more than halve the guesswork by The Establishment of 1.4 deg C per century national warming. Wait and see the 70 sites figure.
The difference will be ENTIRELY due to man-made adjustments.
Could mean a lot for policies based on 1.4C/century.

JD Vance said in July 2024 that under the Labour Party that the UK could become the first “truly Islamist country that will get a nuclear weapon”. Ref: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/article/2024/jul/16/trump-running-mate-jd-vance-uk-first-islamist-country-nuclear-weapon
The same applies to France.
At the current rate things are going, although there is a popular conservative movement against open borders illegal migration, it seems inevitable that both countries will become what JD described.
Therefore I think TRUMP should put pressure on Britain and France to relinquish their nuclear weapons before it’s too late. They could be kept in the US until such time (if ever) it becomes safe to return them.

Well, consider. If the Muslim population of Britain is 6.5%, why is it that there are approximately 170 county courts and an estimated 85 sharia courts. As these sharia courts are not registered, 85 is bit of a guess. And here was me thinking that everyone was equal under British common law.

I wonder how long before there is an engineering or other disaster because a clueless young, poorly educated wokester took actions based upon what AI told it to do?
It’s just like other wokesters being prepared to destroy the economy over the predictions of non-validated and fundamentally invalid climate “models”.
AI can be a useful aid if you already know what you’re talking about but if you don’t have a clue, don’t rely in it.
Another example my medical doctor told me about is that he gets AI to summarise patient discussions. He said he often finds it adding things that were never said such as “drug side effects were discussed” because it has learned that that is one of the expected topics of discussion even if it never happened.
120
You don’t need AI to make engineering mistakes.
I’ve had design engineers working for me that have come up with ‘computerised’ designs, eg SpaceGas, etc, that have selected a ridiculously light gauge beam for a specific task. They had already signed off on the design ready for fabrication. All because the computer said so. They , (often), don’t even feel any shame when the design has to be amended, it’s almost like a game, will they get caught or not?
The mistake is not the program, its the sh*t they feed it. Mistakes are often made by assumptions or units. Both give similar results.
In the old days, all designs were passed up the chain for review and checking. How many designs now are completed by a single person and a computer with no independent sanity check? Mistakes will be costly. Mistakes will result in fatalities. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of how many.
130
Yes DM it adds yet another layer of machine/automation dependence , this time with the reassuring veneer of an AI dialogue. Everything will be fine.
30
AI gets smarter and we get dumber.
In 20 years nothing will be repaired as no-one will have a clue how anything works.
Just look (again) at the auto industry.
Techs are leaving in droves due to poor pay, stress, injury and the tech being too hard to understand let alone diagnose.
In time combustion engines will be history, replaced by electric motors controlled by AI systems, designed by AI.
If only AI could fix all the M$ Windows issues that their human software engineers apparently can’t…

Has anyone watched any of the Kathryn Porter videos about CC and why we believe the BS and don’t understand the data?
In this video this energy expert covers a lot of ground and the real reason the UK Tories no longer believe in net zero.

Canberra and Washington DC are both deeper swamps. They are so isolated from the real world that the representatives of the voters who enter the swamp end up mired in the swamp with the swamp dwellers controlling the agenda. It took Trump more than 4 years to appreciate how deep the swamp is. The UN has played a major role in embedding the swamp creatures.
Every Trump win is a nail in the UN coffin. Trump, Farage and Pauline (maybe not). But Pauline has been consistent in her values and they are gradually becoming mainstream despite the best efforts of the swamp dwellers at their ABC to demean the person.

‘Help kill the NetZero fantasy’ with solar power.
I assume you also support solar farms in the bush?
23
Solar farms are now useless in South Australia. The rooftops have robbed their demand. The same is happening with wind farms.
Rooftop solar has many competitive advantages over grid scale WDGs but the main one is captive demand. So rooftops remove the available demand and the high grid prices send big consumers broke, which removes further demand.
It is already clearly evident and rooftops have only been in the game for ten years apart from a few early adopters like me.
Grid scale solar in SA today served 0.8GWh of the demand. Their calculated curtailed output was 3.6GWh. Even in the NEM, the grid solar was heavily curtailed with 38GWh demand met and estimated 22GWh curtailed.
Ever rooftop solar/battery installation rings the death knell for both grid solar and wind..
When you drive past a wind farm and no turbines are turning it is just as likely that they have been shut down for economic reasons rather than no wind. Prices in SA went negative at 2:30am and remained negative until 6pm.
If you build a wind turbine based on modelling at CF of 30% and the systems stops you from producing often such that the CF achieved is only 15%, the economics are highly unfavourable. All that capital producing negative return.
