After “climate change” and “Palestine”, I wonder what her next “movement” will be? And who will sponsor her next time?

She should be an advertisement to all children and parents why children should never skip school. Even if what passses for schools today are thoroughly dumbed-down, at least there is a possibility of learning something rather than nothing. Or better yet, home school if parents are willing and able to do so.

How many know that Thunberg’s flotilla was sponsored by Hamas terrorists?

      https://govextra.gov.il/mda/march-to-gaza/the-hidden-networks-behind-the-global-sumud-flotilla/

On September 30, 2025, the IDF revealed new Hamas documents found in the Gaza Strip, exposing the true nature of the Global Sumud Flotilla. These newly uncovered materials provide direct proof that Hamas financed the so-called “Sumud” flotilla and even covertly owned many of its vessels through Cyber Neptune – a Spanish front company headed by Saif Abu Keshk. Abu Keshk is also identified as an operative of the Palestinian Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA) – an organization founded by Hamas in 2018 to serve as its official overseas representative body. Operating under civilian cover, the PCPA was designated a terrorist organization by Israel in 2021.

And having survived her stolen childhood, you sense she is looking for something else to focus her endless rage at the world.
The graph of CO2, after all her speeches to the Congress, UN, Davos,.. is a perfect straight line unaffected by her travels and her speeches or fossil fuel emissions. Almost as if humans do not control CO2 anyway.

She could always go to Beijing and stomp her feet in front of President Xi.

The Louvre jewellery heist reminded me of a great movie ‘Le Cercle rouge’, the red circle by Melville (1970). I saw it first time when I was a teenager decades ago. The film is still one of my all time favorites. Here’s the trailer.

In Once Great Britain the Online Safety Axt, supposedly to protect children, is now being used by the Government to block access to various foreign websites.

They will start at some which are not mainstream like the example provided in the video below, but will then no doubt move on to more mainstream ones.

    History Debunked YouTube channel discusses.

I expect Australia and our Liberal Party created e Safety Kommissar to do the same here.

And TRUMP is opposed to censorship of his country’s content providers. I expect both UK and Australia to be punished by him (e.g. trade deals) for the extensive censorship regimes being implemented.

Suppose the Australian E commissar decides to whack, say, Facebook with a couple of fines for non compliance with Government demands about program content or age restrictions . Fines can run into $$ millions.
Facebook and possibly others then reckon it’s not worthwhile to operate in Australia & shutdown services completely.
What would the implications be for the country as a whole. Government, commercial activity & the public are suddenly deprived of services they’ve enjoyed & / or come to depend on!! Does the government, Labor or the LNP, have any plans to replace those services ?? Or are they hoping these services will disappear thus solving their desire to end freedom of speech / thought!!💭

“Preston’s pet hamster, Mr. Whiskers, disapproved of the last batch of Ofcom correspondence that was provided to him as it was bitter and salty and smelled of failure. This notwithstanding, the fact that it had been created with a white-hot mix of English rage at the sight of Americans exercising their freedom will doubtlessly keep him nice and warm all winter long. He will keep this hamster bedding in reserve in case of emergencies but it is unlikely to be his first choice for the Christmas season.”

In the OFCOM survey, OFCOM asked “Do you have further evidence regarding the harms and risks to users from livestreamed content harmful to children, or harms and risks to children from broadcasting live streams?” My answer was “I don’t know any children harmed by a smartphone. But the kids do know that OFCOM is using this as an excuse to cover-up the mass rape of children. The UN Office on Drugs and Crime and Rape Crisis report that England and Wales has the highest rate of rape on Earth with 7.82 annual rapes per 1,000. The UN reports 1.173 annual rapes per 1,000 and the charity Rape Crisis reports that only 15% of rape victims chose to report the crime to the police and 90% of the victims are white girls raped by immigrants, including those given British citizenship by the Labour & Tory Governments. So the world is talking about England and Wales having the highest level of rapes on Earth, but the fake news mockingbird media is silenced by the state Office For Censorship Obedience & Manipulation (OFCOM) and the BBC lead Television Newspeak International (TNI).

As Trump and Albanese have just announced an $8.5 billion minerals deal which is about 21% of Australia’s current $40 billion export to the US it seems Trump is not particularly interested in censoring Australia

Rare earth minerals have to be extracted from the ore & refined to client / customer specifications & requirements. China currently refines about 90% of rare earth minerals at present. This is not actually something that Australia has facilities for. I somehow don’t think the Chinese facilities will be falling over them selves to do it for USA or Australia.

All is not as simple as signing a document. Delivery of the product within specification & on time at a price to compete with Chinese finished product and at a profit to the Australian producers is a real target. The Australian side will no doubt already be negotiating government subsidies!!! Yes another subsidy!!! So sad.

Judge Dana Christensen hales from Missoula Montana. Missoula may hit double digit temperature today but overnight just above freezing. Next month Missoula will have snow and I am expecting this year to be above trend snowfall.

Those who live in Missoula for the next few generations should enjoy the temporary warmth because locations at 1000m elevations and above will be where the snow first begins to hang around all year.

The glaciers in GNP are still declining but many are still there despite their predicted demise b 2020. It is only a matter of time before they are gaining more ice at altitude like Greenland is already doing.

Must be galling for Rudd to have to put his hand up like a school kid to be half jokingly ridiculed by Trump:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXfEKSe9kiM

I expext Rudd and Albanese would have liked to have gone back in time and said much nicer things about Trump. They can thank their ABC and the US main stream media for the jaundiced perspective they have of Trump.

The crowd of reporters shows the number and access that Australia’s new media has in the USA. Imagine the effort to vet all these people.

Both Rudd and Albanese have done immeasurable harm to Australia’s economy.

These days, both Albanese could claim the videos were AI generated and they actually love Trump and all he is doing for USA and the rest of the world.

Australia has sold what is left of its industry and power grid to China and I rely completely on gear supplied from China for most go my household energy. China also holds a good deal of Australian real estate and farm land.

Build it and they will come – or so BYD thought.

housands of new Chinese electric vehicles have been left stranded at one of Australia’s best known amusement parks after being stored there without council approval.
Photos taken at the Jamberoo Action Park south of Sydney show endless rows of unregistered BYD vehicles, including Shark utes and Sealion SUVs, covering car spots and overflow areas at the popular water park.

    https://www.heraldsun.com.au/motoring/exclusive-byd-caught-dumping-thousands-of-cars-at-iconic-water-park/news-story/42b44901a5aed00cdc533c028bf91138

It has become an embarrassment now that the park has opened for summer with visitors unable to get parking spots.

And here is Auto Expert taking a shot at BYD’s Australian boss:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P1o_taLTNo

Does anyone own a BYD – and would recommend one? There might be a few coming into the market at discounted prices to get them out of their current dilemma.

    100

    • #
      Ross

Seemed to me to be a ” non story”. When the vehicles come off the ship they need to be stored somewhere. Preferably somewhere with a hard surface and good security that is large. There’s really not that many close to ports. BYD sales are around 4000/ month at the moment ( recently had 8k in June), so the number of vehicles at Jamberoo probably only represent a number of weeks sales. Australians are definitely buying them. Apparently, there are similar yards in both Brisbane and Melbourne.

      31

      • #
        RickWill

Maybe it is the drop in sales that has caused the bottleneck. Irrespective it will take time to clear because the vehicles transporters require special permission to travel on the roads, which they did not have for getting them there.

Is is possible a fire sale (figuratively) of BYD vehicles would be value for money. If they were as reliable as Toyota they would be a good buy but I doubt they are there yet.

A Sealion 6 PHEV might be attractive if they were known to be reliable.

The Germans had also developed a magnetron, but couldn’t obtain stable power from it. It wasn’t until an airborne H2S fell into their hands that they discovered the strapping secret. It was the inter-cavity strapping that allowed the magnetron to generate high power.

Media and others nearly always claim that PM Morrison signed a net zero emissions agreement while in Glasgow at the Climate Conference late 2021.

He refused to commit to an agreement, he instead offered that Australia would have an aspirational goal to achieve net zero emissions subject to new technology development (for Australia an example would be nuclear zero emissions power stations) and without damaging the economy.

The no damage to economy objective was first stated by the Howard Government that signed the Kyoto Conference emissions reduction target agreement in 1997.

An Australian reporter asks Trump a very embarrassing question about his reaction to Kevin Rudd’s previous comments. Trump responds by pretending that he doesn’t know who Rudd is but says that if he said bad things in the past he might like to apologise!

After the way VicPolice behaved during Wuflu, it’s hard to see much sympathy coming their way.

I learnt a new term regarding AI this week “Jailbreak”. This video talks about it:

The rate of development is incredible and I get some idea why Elon Musk has concerns about it.

    Anchors away!

    Run Forest, run!

DYK that it’s not actually anchors that keep boats in place but the chain?

In the example it was eventually nothing.

Looks like a blow came in as they were dropping the anchor and then could not restrain it. Would be a horrible situation.

For all the podcast fans, but more specifically Joe Rogan fans (Spotify etc)- Dick Lindzen and Will Happer from the @CO2Coalition are in Austin, Texas for an interview with Joe Rogan today. Perhaps Jo will do a summary of Joe for her readers :-)?

I’d love to meet Dick. Many years ago when I was first discovering the truth about the Inconvenient Truth I sent him an email. I got a prompt, informative reply. I was impressed.

Daily Mail Australia landing page leads with how “Huge changes coming to cash payment rules in Australia” [story link because landing page changes]

Scroll down past the 3 story items beneath this and “BREAKING NEWS Aussie (sic) unable to access their money as major bank’s app goes down”.

The bank is ANZ. Looks like it has already ended in tears even before “it” (cashless) is mandated.

Yip but happening as you walk to the petrol station counter to pay for your top-up it becomes a disruption to your afternoon plans and everyone else parked behind you wanting to fill their car. Wait “official” explanation in due course but the X comment in the link “Looks like AWS took out
@ANZ_AU ” if accurate (hope explanation will cover this aspect) has to be a concern if ebusiness has (domino) links that mean if one can be taken down others can follow. Cheers

Just another reason to legislate to prohibit BANKS and FINANCIAL bodies from using CLOUD SERVICES of ANY description.
They MUST use in-house hardware and software and must have continuity of service over failures.
You know, the type of thing IBM mainframes excelled at for 50 years.

Sorry Joe you cant halt “progress”

Its 2025 and yet we cant have reliable banking, cheap abundant electricity, affordable homes or send humans to the moon. Or get a pothole repaired for Victorian readers.

Those “Changes to cash payment rules” got a mention on Radio 2GB Ben Fordham show this afternoon.

Seems like a real “Fuster” and much more in support of restrictions to use of cash.

years ago, disappointed by ANZ I cancelled all bank and credit accounts (and any further debits).
!5 Months later I got “requests” to pay for an overseas bill.
After quite a few emails, doing nothing, I took the e-mails along with the one by ANZ that no further debits were allowed to the “local” branch where the complaints desk was somewhat busy. Rather busy and it took 30 minutes waiting.
After less than 20 seconds reading the (printed) emails she was confinced that there was a mistake. She immediately got in touch with the relevant section in ANZ H.O. and was “stonewalled” for over 20 minutes. After sending copies of the correspondence she finally go agreement that a mistake had been made. The local Girl was fuming, and was flatly rude to them, but said don’t reply to any future e-mails. I never heard again from them).
I wondered whether I should send a letter to the ANZ General Manager how this lady had settled the issue but decided
      a) this might cause problems for her with the current “We are the BANK so obey” attitude.
      b) never to deal with the ANZ again if possible.
      I recommend the latter policy.

Mid North Coast NSW this afternoon and the temperature is now 27 deg C, not unusual for the area, and with a nice sea breeze.

My phone app warns about extreme heatwave!!!

And I note that weather maps are bright coloured again as with BoM warming into and during Summer now normal practise.

There is a graph showing the cost of energy to consumers , with and without rebates. The dip in cost is interesting given the May 25 election date and the preceedimg months. Probably just a coincidence. This lines have merged again now we are past the conincidental election.

“In China, trade settlements in yuan have exceeded trade settlements in US dollars. And the gap will only widen.
This week, China announced that iron ore purchases for the Chinese steel industry must be made only in yuan.
Australia (one of the largest suppliers of ore) is simply being presented with a fait accompli: either be paid in yuan or nothing.”
