Scissor. Much as i enjoy reading just how F’ed Up, malevolent, malicious, duplicitous etc etc the state is…..I’m always left wondering why I should have any sympathy for those who succumb to the state’s childish tantrum-throwing.

It’s the whole “Faustian Bargain” thingy in real life, and real time….”From the medieval legend of Faust, who made a contract with the Devil, exchanging his soul for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures”

OK, so we all had the choice : “keep getting your wages, or else accept serious harm, and maybe death, for yourself and loved ones by agreeing to be a lab rat”

Hmmmm. and so many rushed to accept the nonsense: “Please sir can I have some more!”

My old school ()Boys Only) had as it’s motto: in Latin . “Every man is the maker of his own destiny” and so it is.

Mine had, from ~1574, “Patebit tum quod latuit” “what is hidden will be revealed”.
Sometimes interpreted in an inappropriate way with regard to some attendees.
It seems to be that this might hold true for this age of the world. Try as they may, they always fail to hide stuff.

After seeing a house my mother had built washed out on to the road in the news from Eugowra, I dug through the Trove newspaper records and other sources to investigate the history of floods there. This to settle a dispute with a family member about how often the place flooded. Was surprised to find things like “Boneys great ride” and “The actual height of the flood can not be judged, as the gauge, and the bridge to which it was attached, was completely under water.” from previous floods.
Thanks to Warwick Hughes for letting me put this list of finds here.

MRC Poll: CNN Viewers Tuning Out Due to ‘Liberal/Left-Wing Bias’

A new poll found that most CNN viewers who are watching the network less than they used to cite “its liberal/left-wing bias” as one reason why, The Washington Times reports.

Forbes reported last month that CNN’s average prime-time audience dropped by 33% over the last year, down to 730,000 viewers on average for the network’s lowest-rated year ever.

The survey, which was conducted by McLaughlin & Associates on behalf of the conservative Media Research Center, found just over half of those who watch CNN agreed with the statement: “One of the reasons I find myself watching CNN less often is because of its liberal/left-wing bias.”

54% of CNN viewers watch the network less than they used to.
61% of those viewers said “liberal/left-wing bias” is one of the reasons why they watch CNN less.
    80% of conservatives agreed.
    52% of moderates agreed.
    52% of liberals agreed.
“The MRC’s new poll demonstrates that CNN’s biased political coverage is undoubtedly a key factor in driving many of these viewers away from the network,” the center said in a statement.

German Study Finds that Covid-19 Vaccines Perpetuated the Pandemic and Caused Immune System Failure

Amid thousands of papers on COVID and the vaccines, a new German paper published in Science Immunology should be the headline story this week. Although the subject matter is very dense, the implication of it is that the Pfizer shots (and possibly other mRNA spike protein shots) caused the immune system to misfire, thereby creating an endless feedback loop of viral immune escape, perpetuating the pandemic in the macro, and creating immune suppression for the individuals who received them.

He went on to write that it is “vexing” as to why, today, the virus remains with us, questioning the fact that whereas so many countries in the Pacific Rim did well against COVID in 2020 and 2021 but now have a much bigger problem in 2022 with a less virulent strain. He asks further why it appears as though this pandemic won’t end and so many people continue to contract it more than once.

“None of this is normal,” he wrote. “Wherever you turn, the most vaccinated countries are not only experiencing rampant side effects from the shots, but worse outcomes from COVID itself following their endless booster campaigns.”

“Portugal is the most vaccinated nation in all of Europe (95% vax’d, 70% boosted) and yet just as many people are dying now as in 2021 and significantly more people than in 2020 (when no one was vax’d and no one had immunity and covid was more virulent). Safe and effective?” the Twitter account PLC noted, along with a graphic chart showing a historic spike in mortality in the country.

Man, 30, died suddenly after catching rare disease ‘nobody has ever survived’

‘The prognosis is very bleak because it is so rare they don’t know how to treat it’

A man’s family was left shocked after he suddenly died of a rare and aggressive disease that ‘nobody has ever survived’.

Jason Tolson tragically died at the age of 30 on New Year’s Day after being sent to intensive care. Jason died of a condition called Anti-MDA5 Dermatomyositis which is so rare and aggressive that no cure has yet been found and no survivors of the disease are known.

Dean Blakely, Jason’s father-in-law, from Batley, has spoken about Jason’s final weeks in the hopes of raising awareness of the rare disorder that took his son-in-law’s life. Jason began feeling unwell in May 2022, complaining of muscle aches and joint pains, Yorkshire Live reports.

Jason was then taken to Pindersfields hospital due to his low blood pressure and heart rate, where he remained until New Year’s Day. At the hospital, Jason was diagnosed with Anti-MDA5 Dermatomyositis and was put on 16 different drugs and steroids to try and treat the condition.

Dean said: “The prognosis is very bleak because it is so rare they don’t know how to treat it, its just a case of dealing with other specialists. Its a game of trial and error.”

On New Year’s Day, Jason’s family were called to say his condition had deteriorated to the point that he wouldn’t survive, giving them two option of either upping his oxygen to keep him alive for a short period or turn it off. Dean said: “He was going to die so made the decision to not make him suffer anymore, he passed away in about 10 minutes of his oxygen being removed.

CDC Finally Released Its VAERS Safety Monitoring Analyses for COVID Vaccines via FOIA and now it’s clear why they tried to hide them.

CDC’s VAERS safety signal analysis based on reports from Dec. 14, 2020 – July 29, 2022 for mRNA COVID-19 vaccines shows clear safety signals for death and a range of highly concerning thrombo-embolic, cardiac, neurological, hemorrhagic, hematological, immune-system and menstrual adverse events (AEs) among U.S. adults.
There were 770 different types of adverse events that showed safety signals in ages 18+, of which over 500 (or 2/3) had a larger safety signal than myocarditis/pericarditis.
The CDC analysis shows that the number of serious adverse events reported in less than two years for mRNA COVID-19 vaccines is 5.5 times larger than all serious reports for vaccines given to adults in the US since 2009 (~73,000 vs. ~13,000).
Twice as many mRNA COVID-19 vaccine reports were classified as serious compared to all other vaccines given to adults (11% vs. 5.5%). This meets the CDC definition of a safety signal.
There are 96 safety signals for 12-17 year-olds, which include: myocarditis, pericarditis, Bell’s Palsy, genital ulcerations, high blood pressure and heartrate, menstrual irregularities, cardiac valve incompetencies, pulmonary embolism, cardiac arrhythmias, thromboses, pericardial and pleural effusion, appendicitis and perforated appendix, immune thrombocytopenia, chest pain, increased troponin levels, being in intensive care, and having anticoagulant therapy.
There are 66 safety signals for 5-11 year-olds, which include: myocarditis, pericarditis, ventricular dysfunction and cardiac valve incompetencies, pericardial and pleural effusion, chest pain, appendicitis & appendectomies, Kawasaki’s disease, menstrual irregularities, vitiligo, and vaccine breakthrough infection.
The safety signals cannot be dismissed as due to “stimulated,” exaggerated, fraudulent or otherwise artificially inflated reporting, nor can they be dismissed due to the huge number of COVID vaccines administered. There are several reasons why, but the simplest one is this: the safety signal analysis does not depend on the number of reports, but whether or not some AEs are reported at a higher rate for these vaccines than for other non-COVID vaccines.

        https://dailyclout.io/cdc-finally-released-its-vaers-safety-monitoring-analyses-for-covid-vaccines-via-foia/

Yeah, but who didn’t know the gene-jabs were dangerous….and who didn’t know the alleged virus was a nothing-burger?….

“There were 770 different types of adverse events that showed safety signals in ages 18+, of which over 500 (or 2/3) had a larger safety signal than myocarditis/pericarditis.”

This is as predicted by serious doctors, statisticians, research scientists etc etc. So why did the Lemmings line up, and once again, why should we be concerned for the safety of lemmings?

This all reminds me of trying to convince a dramatically obese person to lay off the Krispy Kreme donuts. People make choices.

depends on you attitude to your fellow man/woman/person/whatever. There are a lot of people at the low end of the IQ distribution (not able to research and understand), their are a lot of people who have mortgages and families to feed (inoculate or leave work), there was a lot of cover and hyping from the MSM. Its pretty easy to see why a good chunk of the population had the shot and why some continue to do so. Who can they believe?

Yes, but when I understood that these drugs (alleged vaccines) were developed at ‘warp speed’ with an experimental gene therapy methodology and having emergency approval only, that’s when I declined the offer of the jab(s) most vigorously………………….And, I could not be coerced into having the jab(s).

Its not like we had a choice either, remaining unvaxxed still doesn’t stop you losing all the freedoms under the emergency rules that so many politicians refuse to give up.

The hazard signal has been clear for the better part of a year. The mRNA products made by Pfizer and Moderna did not stop transmission of Covid-19 and were causing widespread harm, especially in the working-age population between 25 and 64 who were forced to take the shots to keep their jobs. For the whole population, all-causes deaths and disabilities were still rising at the end of 2022.

The trend appeared to start with the unnatural deaths of professional athletes dropping dead on their playing fields. Then, in early 2022, life insurance companies reported that the death rates of policy-holders employed by companies with insurance plans were up 40 percent. The unprecedented numbers were confirmed in mid-2022 by the Society of Actuaries — the professional org of people who actually parse the statistics that the insurance industry bases its business model on. In fact the number of excess deaths in younger age groups had grown dramatically — Covid vaccination produced a 78-percent increase in excess deaths among the 25-34 age group, a 100-percent increase in excess deaths among the 35-44 age group, and a 80-percent increase in excess deaths among the 45-54 age group.
      *****

Then Covid-19 came along and they decimated their own workforces with vaccine mandates. Now, many hospitals can barely function, and many have had to shut down specific services. Quite a few hospitals are going bankrupt, which only feeds the predatory consolidation still ongoing. When the looming financial, banking, and insurance disorders start to bite later this year, hospitals will be shutting down. In the meantime, many more people will lose their lives to the disastrous side-effects of the vaccines. It is already the case — to make matters worse — that the vaccine-injured who seek help from the medical system are lied-to, mis-treated, or ignored. Some of these are the doctors themselves and other health professionals who collide with reality the hard way.

Will they really? there are layers of cover for these people. Its hard to see how it would happen. There is a lot of this sort of tough talk but not much happens. At the top level, if Pfizer isnt already being sued what on earth would it take for that to happen?

Here is the current official Australian Government view on “alternative” treatments for covid disease.

They are obviously trying to kill us with their lies.

    https://www.health.gov.au/health-alerts/covid-19/treatments/about

    Ivermectin, doxycycline, zinc
There is not enough evidence to support the safe and effective use of these drugs (separately, or in combination) to prevent or treat COVID-19.

The Clinical Evidence Taskforce does not recommend the use of ivermectin, doxycycline or zinc outside of properly conducted clinical trials with appropriate ethical approval.

    Hydroxychloroquine
The Clinical Evidence Taskforce strongly recommends that people do not use hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.

Hydroxychloroquine has well known risks including:

toxic effects on the heart (potentially leading to heart attacks)

    irreversible eye damage

lowering blood sugar levels (potentially leading to coma).

Heh. Yeah. Just like South Africa. What Covid?
Of course Ivermectin and HCQ *may* have side effects but a tiny fraction of the risks we can attribute to the fakevax. A destroyed immune system, turbo cancer, SADS and death AREN’T side effects though.
Note that brain damage, organ damage, stroke and blindness are potential side effects of the fakevax too.

China would have been a good opportunity to study the let it rip largely unvaxxed solution, sadly thanks to politics, the opportunity will be lost and no reliable data will come of it. China will tell us 5 people died and the West will tell us 5 million died.

I’m sure there is lots of data from Africa and South America, India of course, maybe SE Asia where vaccine use has been low. Officially we only hear about a very small part of the world, but its hard to sort out the truth between 5 and 5million.

Supplements and muscle-building powders: cures for almost everything: natural, of course. Alternatives to all those thingamyjigs sold at the pharmacy, or prescribed by doctors.

And yet there’s no crack-down whatsoever on 99.99% of the thingamyjigs…despite 99.99% of the thingamyjigs not working as advertized. what’s the go d’ya reckon?

I see thousands of “unproven” treatments on sale

          Do you really.
I think you’ll find most if not all are naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and other compounds, and as such are not TGA regulated.
And bear in mind that anything that does claim to have medically therapeutic properties needs to undergo TGA analysis and approval, and that ain’t cheap.
Supplements like Creatine, protein powders and other bodybuilding supplements are again naturally occurring.
A good diet would achieve everything you need in reality.
Then we move on to women’s products like anti-aging creams, which of course do nothing of the kind. They’re over-hyped moisturisers. Any true anti aging product, if it existed, would be regulated.
Then we go to pure garbage products under the homeopathy umbrella. They do absolutely nothing so don’t waste your money. Homeopathy is quack science and was debunked 20 years ago.Technically a lot of product manufacturers could be charged with false advertising and it has happened a few times, especially with well known scammers, especially weight loss products.

          Huh!

My good lady wife was prescribed a medication called Quinate for cramps, and, when I asked him, our GP who originally prescribed it way back in 1996 mentioned how well it worked, and oddly, how quickly it worked. My good lady was also on Bougainville when the mine was operational back in the early 70s, and at that time, she was also prescribed a different Quinine based medication to allay fears of Malaria.

However, Quinate and cramps, and man, was I just so sceptical, even though our GP was absolutely certain. I still remained sceptical, even though it worked every time with my good lady. When I got cramps in my left hand that would not go away, no matter what, she suggested I take one of her Quinate, and I literally scoffed, still thinking that it just could not work. I did take one of them, almost from desperation, and within minutes the cramps were gone. I literally could not believe it, but every so often (and those hand cramps were the only one I couldn’t ‘press out’) I used it for them, and they worked, every time. It was only occasional, around two three times a year maybe.

Since then, we have moved a number of times, and changed GPs with location changes, and have had three different GPs in the interim, and all of them, have just renewed prescriptions for that Quinate for cramps ….. without question.

Early on in the ‘Coronavirus Times’, I read anecdotally about HCQ, and wondered if it might have been the Quinine part of the med that, umm, alleviated, the coronavirus thing.

And then, near the end of year 2020, our current GP would not renew the prescription, after more than two years of renewing them without question. I asked him why, and he said that the Quinine in it had serious long term side effects related to the heart, and that any thought of their assisting with cramps was just an old wives tale, as they didn’t really do anything at all. When I mentioned that my good lady had been using them for almost 24 years, and only at the onset of cramps, which they stopped immediately, he again stressed the long term side effects. There was nothing I could say that would change his mind as he just would not renew any prescription for the medication.

That, ….. that was the point in time I started wondering how big a controlling effect Big Pharma was having in these, umm, ….. ‘Coronavirus Times’.

          Tony.

I was getting leg cramps at night, but a glass of tonic water before bed was prescribed by a non-medical person.

And that is exactly what I am doing now.

A small bottle Of Schweppes Indian Tonic Water (300mL) straight from the fridge, and all by itself, and directly before bed, the last thing I do as I check out this site before retiring for the night.

Those hand cramps have dwindled remarkably, and the occasional leg cramps during the night have stopped completely.

I did that without any GP even mentioning it.

I mentioned it to our Son, and he got me a bottle of Gin for Christmas. (Gordon’s London Dry Gin) When I looked at him quizzically, he told me that G&T has become an extremely popular drink evidently, and a lot of young people are evidently getting right into Gin. (evidently, it’s the new Vodka)

I thought G&T was a, umm, ‘ladies drink’. I tried it tentatively, and hey, that’s a pretty well kept secret. It’s actually refreshing.

As to the quinine factor, and those (evidently) serious long term side effects, I’m 72 now, and my Sister, who is right into genealogy tells me I’m the longest living male person in a direct line, (my father, his father, their fathers fathers etc etc) going back seven generations, and the longest lived direct descendant she has found only made it to 64.

Notice how they list the “possible” side effects to taking these drugs, but when pushing the “Jabs” they never mention side effects, just the statement, “highly effective and safe to use”; nothing more than that.

I have been taking zinc and D3 since June of 2020 and have since added Quercetin and Vit C. I have never been jabbed and am 73 yrs old.

This week I received a message from my doctor, who I rarely see, telling me that a prescription for an anti-viral had been sent to the pharmacy for my benefit : I presume it’s free.
Because I qualify on a number of counts as “at risk” , including age , not receiving at least two shots, and some others that I don’t recall.
The fact that I’m 70 and still working 80 hour weeks was not one of the risk factors LOL
Anyway I thought I’d take a few doses of Lithospermun erythrorhizon on the off chance. 🙂 and the prescription can lapse.

Professional body demands Jordan Peterson be re-educated.

    https://www.spiked-online.com/2023/01/06/the-re-education-of-jordan-peterson/

    The re-education of Jordan Peterson

The best-selling author could lose his psychotherapy licence if he fails to repent for his tweets.

Ever since Jordan Peterson first burst on to the political scene, he has been doing battle with what he calls the ‘woke moralists’. First they tried to cancel him and to block the publication of his books. Now they want to ‘re-educate’ him, too.

Before he shot to fame as a best-selling author, Peterson worked as both a university professor and a psychotherapist. The demands of celebrity forced him to stop his clinical practice back in 2017. But he still holds his licence to practise. Because of this, he is still subject to the dictates of his professional regulator, the Ontario College of Psychologists.

This week, Peterson revealed that the regulator has been trying to take him down a peg or two. It has reportedly demanded that he undergo mandatory social-media ‘communication training’. And should he refuse, he could lose his clinical licence. This follows a series of complaints the regulator received about tweets Peterson posted over the past year. It says these tweets, posted to his 3.6million Twitter followers, are ‘embarrassing to the profession’.

The proposed ‘training’ is not just some box-ticking exercise. The college has provided a ‘Specified Continuing Education or Remedial Programme’ for Peterson to complete, so that he can ‘review, reflect on and ameliorate [his] professionalism in public statements’. And this ‘re-education’ will cost him up to $225 per hour.

There is no pretence from the Ontario College of Psychologists that any of this is about the quality of Peterson’s clinical practice. None of the complaints against him is from a former client. It is quite clearly his political views that are being targeted.

Peterson’s alleged thoughtcrimes include his opposition to authoritarian lockdown policies and his criticisms of lockdown-loving leaders Justin Trudeau and Jacinda Ardern. The college also alleges that he is ‘sexist’, ‘transphobic’ and a ‘climate-change denialist’. As Peterson summarises: ‘Every single accusation is not only independent of my clinical practice, but explicitly political.’

Peterson says he will fight the accusations and will not submit himself to the re-education programme – even if it means losing his licence. He has also vowed to publish every piece of correspondence he receives from the Ontario College of Psychologists. It will be interesting to see how this witch-hunt progresses.

Wasn’t it barely six years ago that Peterson came to public attention in a debate on Canadian public television warning of the danger to free speech from anti ‘hate’ speech laws.

Here we are just as he predicted.
The assault on the ideals of enlightenment has moved quickly.
Odd that the war on rationality and free thought emerged and metastasized in the hallowed halls of Academia.
Producing armies of gender neutral screeching Red Guards.

To assist in understanding of Australian heatwaves, I show a brief table for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart, cities that get progressively further from the equator and hence, intuitively, have cooler heatwaves.
    http://www.geoffstuff.com/hoot.xlsx
    ……..

This shows how heatwave properties can be affected by events a long way from the weather station. Therefore, using weather station data alone is error prone.
Heatwaves are NOT what popular authors think they are.

Originally a heatwave was five consecutive days of 5C+ over the average temp for that month. Now the Bureau of Meteorology defines a heatwave as three or more days in a row when both daytime and night-time temperatures are unusually high—in relation to the local long-term climate and the recent past. There is no single temperature threshold for a heatwave in Australia.

    New study just released.

Compound extreme heat and drought will hit 90% of world population – University of Oxford study, released 6th January 2023.

    https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2023-01-06-compound-extreme-heat-and-drought-will-hit-90-world-population-oxford-study

“More than 90% of the world’s population is projected to face increased risks from the compound impacts of extreme heat and drought, potentially widening social inequalities as well as undermining the natural world’s ability to reduce CO2 emissions in the atmosphere—according to a study from Oxford’s School of Geography.”

“Warming is projected to intensify these hazards ten-fold globally under the highest emission pathway, says the report.”

The paper was published 5th January 2023 on the “Nature Sustainability” website.

    Titled:

Future socio-ecosystem productivity threatened by compound drought–heatwave events

    https://www.nature.com/articles/s41893-022-01024-1

“In the wake of record temperatures in 2022, from London to Shanghai, continuing rising temperatures are projected around the world. When assessed together, the linked threats of heat and drought represent a significantly higher risk to society and ecosystems than when either threat is considered independently, according to the paper by Dr. Jiabo Yin, a visiting researcher from Wuhan University and Oxford Professor Louise Slater”.

    Here we go again.

    New year, new spin.

This Sunday, the Israeli Ministry of Health will admit the COVID vaccine is way more dangerous than they told everyone. DO NOT MISS THIS.

The WHO, FDA, CDC, and most all other world health authorities recommend that you NOT see this video. Why? Because it proves they are all incompetent to monitor safety signals.

The video is so important that ACIP Chair, Stanford Professor Grace Lee tried to get me arrested so that she wouldn’t have to answer the question, “Do you want to see the Israeli MoH safety data?” The video showing the Palo Alto cops confronting me outside her front door has 34K views and 646 likes and just 3 thumbs down (probably from Grace Lee, her husband, and their dog).

This is the video that no health authority in America (except Troy Ross and Joe Ladapo) wants you to see.

A Summer of Illness and Excess Death in Australia.
Covid Worsened Dramatically – but no UNVACCINATED in hospitals!

January marks the middle of summer in Australia.

Unfortunately, despite “health experts” hoping that Covid is a seasonal disease and would go away in summer, Australia is in the middle of yet another wave of Covid.

New South Wales, one of the Australian provinces, publishes “weekly surveillance reports.” Compared to November, COVID hospitalizations more than tripled, according to the latest report.

Here’s the strange part: the unvaccinated comprise exactly ZERO out of 1,779 hospitalized people. If we are to believe that unvaccinated people die of Covid without ever being hospitalized (a phenomenon seen only in NSW and not anywhere in the world), only 6% of deaths in NSW are unvaccinated.

94% of deaths are in vaccinated people, but only 84.3% are vaccinated.

More Vaccine Doses – More Hospitalizations!
I looked at persons over 16 in NSW and compiled hospitalization data (with known status) and percentages of the population with the respective number of doses.

While some of this is explained by age affecting the number of vaccines received, the NSW data shows the utter failure of Covid vaccines.

    6 January 2023

Sudden Death: The No. 1 Cause of Death for Under 65s in 2021

    By Dr. Joseph Mercola

Mounting evidence shows the COVID shots are destroying people’s immune systems and are triggering turbo-charged cancers

A survey by Steve Kirsch found sudden death is the No. 1 cause of death among those under the age of 65 who got the COVID jab

Myocarditis as a cause of death is now registering across all age ranges but only for the vaccinated. Cardiac-related deaths are also significantly elevated among younger people (under 65) who got the jab compared to their unjabbed peers

Recent research shows repeated jabs trigger a switch in the types of antibodies your body produces and lower your ability to clear viruses. By switching from spike-specific neutralizing IgG antibodies to IgG4 antibodies, your body switches from tumor suppression mode into tumor progression mode

In addition to the potential for cancer cells to run amok, IgG4 dominance may also have severe autoimmune implications, as the COVID jab spike protein share similarities with human proteins

      I have one..

The essential argument, the foundation statement for man made Global Warming is that fossil fuel CO2 in the air is 33%.

It’s not true. It was proven wrong 65 years ago.

In 1958 fossil fuel CO2 was measured accurately as 2.03% +/-0.15% as published in the Royal Society. This has never been refuted. Fossil fuel CO2 is still under 3% and will never be higher.

We have no control at all over CO2 levels no matter what we do. 200 year old physical chemistry called Henry’s Law works. Half the CO2 in the air enters the ocean every 5 years. It means an amount equal to all human CO2 for the year gets absorbed every month. Goodbye CO2.

There is no evidence at all for man made CO2, so nothing to refute.

And I am appalled at the ripoff of Australian electricity bills, an illegal ripoff known as RET which steals money under government control. It is not a tax and the government has no right to do this. It is theft.

And to make matters worse, this theft is administered with severe penalties by the Clean Energy Regulator. .

What absolutely childish nonsense that coal, gas and oil are DIRTY energy. It is in the name of the Government department, the anti carbon government department charged with making sure Australian citizens are not subjected to dirty electroncs and dirty energy. This perpetuates in law the childish lie that CO2 electroncs are DIRTY energy, that CO2 is dirty, that coal is dirt.

I find this absolutely unbelieveable. CO2 is invisible. Diamonds are transparent. But blackness is dirty and coal is black, oil is black so CO2 is dirty and we do not want more CO2. But Green is good. And what happens to Green? It rots into hydrocarbons and becomes ‘dirty’.

But our Australian Parliaments demands ‘Clean’ energy, clean electrons. And their Clean energy is wind and solar because it’s not DIRTY. Unbelievable deceit.

And by the way, humans who are made from dirty CO2 need to go. In fact all life on earth is DIRTY. And this fake science is taught in schools as real science.

There is an old adage in business about finally getting focused in that period between the cash drawer being empty and the sheriff
padlocking the front door. One might hope that this is happening in a variety of places. Disney always had an inherent advantage of being
the default baby-sitter; they have squandered generations on that trust on wokeness to become just another media company. They will probably persist and may recover the the ‘Magic Kingdom’ is no more. California is under-powered ind in the throes of a (supposedly epochal) drought….at the same
time they are flooded and have a record snow mass. There are many cases of populations getting over their cognitive dissonance at the same time. They are sometimes called revolutions.
The US house shows a group of elected representatives debating a contentions issue in public; the press and those not participation as “what in the heck is going on?” Could it be that we’ve raised a generation that has never seen public debate in a democracy? Yes, it could. “Mr Smith goes to Washington” could not be credibly remade, except as an allegory about a place long ago and far far away.
The shocks will continue, however, as the world, like that aforementioned business, has an empty cash drawer. The anti-fossil fuel folks have probably shoved enough investment into unproductive areas that all of the developed economies are moving backwards; COVID added a nice kicker.
When this happens in a war, there is public zeal to put shoulder to the wheel and work through to victory, and enough productive inertia and pent up demand in the winners to propel things for a bit.
Now? In the US at least, workforce participation is at an all-time low — that’s one way to get “great” unemployment numbers.
I can’t think of a time where those leading massive change weren’t promising to make things better for the masses; even if the claims
were outlandish. There is a wisp of reality creeping in today, though, that the green missionaries are leading the masses to a promised
land that’s going to be good for all but humankind, while their woke allies are screaming that everything one does and thinks is somehow
horribly wrong. And the cash drawer of subsidy is empty.
And the US set a record for gun sales last year.

Here is an excellent interview of Jordan Peterson interviewing Andrew Doyle about his book “Free Speech and Why it Matters”.

It runs for 2.5 hours but if you only have time to listen to random snippets it’s still worthwhile.

    “Hydroelectric power’s dirty secret”

“Contrary to popular belief, hydroelectric power can seriously damage the climate. Proposed changes to the way countries’ climate budgets are calculated aim to take greenhouse gas emissions from hydropower reservoirs into account, but some experts worry that they will not go far enough.

The green image of hydro power as a benign alternative to fossil fuels is false, says Éric Duchemin, a consultant for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). “Everyone thinks hydro is very clean, but this is not the case,” he says.”

    More at https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn7046-hydroelectric-powers-dirty-secret-revealed/

I guess that extendss to “Pumped Hydro’s dirty secret” too?

There have been claims that hydro dams emit “greenhouse gases” for some time, due to rotting vegetation washed down into them.

It would seem implausible that the amount is significant compared to natural lakes which surely would be a vastly greater surface area than all the world’s hydroelectric pondage.

In any case, given the bottom of such lakes is often anoxic, decomposition is limited.

So, the anti-energy lobby doesn’t want coal, gas, nuclear or pumped hydro for storage.

That leaves only batteries which due to the staggering storage capacity required are not feasible.

That just goes to prove that their true objective is for we non-Elites not to use energy and return to much more primitive lifestyles, assuming we are allowed to live at all.

Long known and significant. All new dams are cleared before flooding.

True, but bear in mind that there is a police direction for every situation. And more can be created at will.

Believe it or not in recent times there were even police directions forbidding people from congregating in churches.

Long article on how Iraq is recovering from its ‘liberation’ from Isis and how life is much better now.

    This little bit pops up-
“official figures published last year uncovered around $225 billion of oil money has disappeared from state coffers since 2003.”

..but somehow they forgot to mention that the oilfields of Iraq are occupied by the American army or, in the North, ISIS-backed rebels & the Kurds.

..and the Yanks are horrified the Chinese Govt won’t use their mRNA vaccines on the Chinese people..

“China has rebuffed repeated US offers to share advanced vaccines as Beijing battles a fast-spreading wave of COVID-19, a rejection that’s led to growing frustration among American officials concerned about a resurgence of the pandemic in the US.’

like all good bullshit it is all from “US officials who asked not to be identified “, the sort that organise these “spontaneous street protests against lockdowns.”

I’m sure they suffer their own BS too- “Chinese-made Sinovac Biotech’s CoronaVac were 97 per cent effective against severe illness or death, roughly in line with three doses of an mRNA vaccine. ”

Wood pellet shortage forces UK households to burn cat litter, top supplier in Russia is sanctioned

    Hannah Boland
    The Telegraph
    Sat, 07 Jan 2023

Jollyes, one of the UK’s largest pet food stores, said its cat litter suppliers were “working overtime to fulfill demand” for wood pellets, after a sharp jump in sales earlier this winter.

It said this came in the wake of “a lot of chatter on social media about using wood pellet cat litter as household fuel in the last few weeks around the cost of living crisis”.

Millions of households across the UK have experienced jumps in their energy bills this year, after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine sparked turmoil in the international markets.

Earlier this year, Britain’s largest supplier of firewood, Certainly Wood, said it expected sales to rise by as much as a fifth this winter, as families opt for alternatives to turning on the heating. It costs households around £600 to have enough firewood to run a wood-burning stove on evenings and weekends over winter, Certainly Wood said.

Meanwhile, the average energy bill went from £1,971 in August, compared to £4,279 a year currently.

Thousands of homes are heated using wood pellets, with people having swapped out gas or oil-fired boilers for wood pellet boilers, and opting for pellet stoves which can heat homes.

John Hanmore, head of sales at Pellet Kings, said pellets used for cat litter and heating homes were essentially the same as long as they had a certain accreditation known as EN 1 Plus.

This basically means premium quality where the pellets produce less ash and are the highest quality. Mr Hanmore said: “We don’t agree with the cheaper pellets, as they can be of a lower calorific value [meaning how much energy they generate] and also are higher in dust – which is bad for pets.”

It comes after many retailers have been battling a shortage of wood pellets over the past year, given that up to 40pc of the higher standard pellets used in the UK had previously been imported from Russia and Belarus. Imports of these were blocked by sanctions on Russia and Belarus.

The Government lifted the requirement to use the greener pellets for 12 months in October in an effort to get more supplies into the market.

    This is not a joke.

    Description

‘This virus doesn’t care if you have got a big ego or not. It doesn’t care.’

Daniel Andrews is our incredible Victorian Premier. He’s copped a lot over the Victorian handling of the COVID crisis in Australia. But I don’t know how he could have done any more – or any different. We are now in lockdown in the Greater Sydney region and Gladys gets only praise from her Federal Government cronies. Not quite fair…

Dan, we love you. You are doing a fantastic job!

Quelle Surprise!!! From Jan 2023 NSW Health will no longer be reporting the vaccination status of those in Hospital, in ICU or dead due to Covid. Another awkward reality avoided. Maybe they got some tips from the BOMs cyclone measuring team? I saw these being sprayed around on Twitter; probably just a coincidence.

I wonder how long the old reports will stay online before adjusted or memory holed?
