Capitol Hill Police Officer Sicknick, who died, was fine on the night of the Capitol Hill riot

Capitol Police Officer, Brian Sicknick

Capitol Police Officer, Brian Sicknick

Officer Brian Sicknick, 42. tragically died after the Capitol Hill mayhem. Allegedly he was “bludgeoned with a fire extinguisher”, and later got a blood clot and died the next day. His death is being used to score political points against Trump supporters yet there are some pertinent facts being left out, and questions that need answers.

Things the legacy media may have forgot to report:

    1. Sicknik texted his family at night after the Capitol Hill event and said he was in good shape. The family did not expect him to go to hospital.
    2. The family didn’t want his death used for political purposes and say his death may be related to a medical condition.
    3. Brian Sicknik was a strong Trump supporter.
    4. The family only learnt of his death when reporters started phoning them.

It’s all a bit odd?

“This Political Climate Got My Brother Killed”: Officer Brian Sicknick Died Defending the Capitol. His Family Waits for Answers.

J. David McSwane, Propublica

“He texted me last night and said, ‘I got pepper-sprayed twice,’ and he was in good shape,” said Ken Sicknick, his brother, as the family drove toward Washington. “Apparently he collapsed in the Capitol and they resuscitated him using CPR.”

But the day after that text exchange, the family got word that Brian Sicknick had a blood clot and had had a stroke; a ventilator was keeping him alive.

“We weren’t expecting it,” his brother said.

Propublica contacted the family:

The family learned from reporter phone calls that something was wrong.

“We have not gotten any calls,” Ken Sicknick said when first contacted. Brian Sicknick was the youngest of three siblings, all boys. “We’re kind of overwhelmed right now. You guys are getting reports of his death before I even got anything.”

Nearly an hour later, the department issued a statement rebutting news reports that an officer had died. The department finally reported that Sicknick had died at 9:30 p.m.

A colleague of Sicknick’s remains baffled as to how the Capitol was breached:

Larry Schaefer, who spent 34 years on the force before retiring last year and knew Sicknick, said Wednesday’s breach of the Capitol was unfathomable until he saw it on his TV screen.

“We handle demonstrations on a regular basis,” Schaefer said. “We’re prepared for this kind of stuff. We hold people back in a perimeter. We’re set up for mass arrests, to load buses of people away.”

He said he blames department leaders for the tragedy.

Brian Sicknik had served in the National Air Guard in Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan. He had grown very disilliusioned at the “unnecessary wars“. He scorned George Bush, and the 9/11 Commission report, and the way the US government treated their troops:

In 2001, he described his attempt to gain help from his representatives in a dispute with his employer: “I have written a staggering number of letters to elected officials in both the state and federal governments. Only one state senator responded. This is one of the main reasons I will not be enlisting for a second term in the National Guard. I am no longer going to risk my life in hostile environments for a government that does not care about the troops.”

Matthew Schmitz says in the New York Post “When they smear Trump voters, they dishonor Officer Sicknick’s memory.”

Sicknick was a Trump supporter himself, as his friend Caroline Behringer announced shortly after his death. Far from sharing the views of the #Resistance, he had written letters to his congressman opposing Trump’s impeachment.

As Diana West points out, if Brian Sicknick had been alive for Joe Biden’s inauguration, they would have vetted him.

In a related story, a video has been unearthed showing a MAGA supporter pleading with the Capitol Hill Police on January 6th, asking why they haven’t called for back up.

Capitol Protester Yells at Cops for Backup at DC Riot:

As Diana West points out, and Gateway Pundit identified, three other people died that day and we know almost nothing about why they did. One, Roseanne Boyland (34) may have been trampled to death. The other two allegedly died from natural causes.

Mr.Phillips (50) reportedly died from a stroke and Mr. Greeson (55) reportedly died from a heart attack.

All the deaths are regrettable. The death of the real media is the thing that matters most.

The solution is simple but difficult to deliver. People in the West must stop voting for the Left.

          Oh, one more thing…

Not too many comments about this thread. That’s really too bad. But for those watching, please take note:

Jo references Diana West’s blog. I’ve mentioned her before many times in these pages.

          a) Bookmark her blog, dianawest.net. and visit it frequently. Sometimes she’ll go days without an entry, sometimes they come fast and furious.

          b) BUY HER BOOK “American Betrayal” and read it carefully. Always keep it for reference for, in the near future, I fully expect it to be Fahrenheit 451’d.

Correction on my correction. The war started a long time ago. More to the point the left won. Now the next war OUGHT TO begin to defeat them. Will the so called land of the free and home of the brave be restored? I personally doubt it. Too many have grown too tired or soft and decided not to bother trying. Many are asleep or don’t give a damn. It’s a common disease throughout the West. What we are witnessing is the downfall of the Constitutional Federal Republic. The first and last part of the title has been destroyed. Now all that remains is to destroy the Federation, which means the union will break apart. It will be interesting to see how it is executed. It’s obvious to me that some states are dead set on turning towards some form of socialism/communism while others are adamant they will resist no matter what. Such a polarisation of states can’t last for long without some sort of violent conflict and the union breaking apart. It’s already gone too far and the impeachment of Trump is only going to speed things up and Trump becomes a martyr to about half the population.

The media is the key….and the war is the education war.

The Left will continue to win so long as the Left not only controls almost all of the media… but so long as the Left Wing media has absolutely zero commitment to the truth…and is willing to go to any lengths and use any means to achieve their own ends…ie their Left wing party in government …in power via any means…even if the people voted them out of power….even if an election has to be stolen.

People who thought the ends justified the means used to be a fringe element…but thanks to post-modernism and social science with generations of children being indoctrinated in the post-normal ideas of no objective truth…nothing absolute…no judgment or conclusions to be reached on anything because to do so is judgmental ..eg there’s no English language…just various Englishes…and now there’s no biological gender just gender fluidity…etc etc…all techniques for creating Socialist activists and licensing them to use any means to justify their Socialist ends….because they’re conditioned to think their Socialist end are just so noble….so long as they don’t think too much…and they’re conditioned not to do that too.

Hence we have the CO2-induced CAGW hoax with its great Global Socialism ends…the holy grail of Socialism…and right at the beginning questioners were shut down…not with any scientific proof or persuasive answers but by declaring case closed …the science is settled …before the science was even done.

Because almost a critical mass of people had been by then indoctrinated in the new post-normal-think….and those who hadn’t been, were manipulated by claims that to question was to betray their children and grandchildren, and destroy their futures…no one in authority now has to answer any questions like …

…how could it be right to say the science was settled before any vital cloud research was done ?

….how could CO2-induced CAGW be settled when the sensitivity of climate to a doubling of CO2 ..the metric on which it rests….was hugely contested?

…how was it right to declare CAGW when the temperature of 70% of the globe …ie oceans…could not at that time be reliably measured..and on and on.

The destruction of Western democracies via corruption of education was all planned…most of it in Germany …Leipzig..Frankfurt…Gramsci’s long March…but also from South America…Paolo Freire who had a massive influence on US Left wing educators..

It’s almost a war in itself…people have spent their lives trying to counter it eg Richard Mitchell[‘Graves of academe’ and The Underground Grammarian] Lionni in The Leipzig Connection.

The only way it will be won…IMO…is for individual parents to take it into their own hands in enough numbers to harass MPs and governments about it…all the while ensuring their own children are immunized against it by teaching them yourselves…no matter what is going on down at the school…very difficult because the kids think ‘[school]teacher knows best’…even when they know their own parents are teachers.

Even when parents think they’ve been able to beat the indoctrination during K-12 and University…it can all fly out the window when their partners are hopelessly indoctrinated.

There is only one war…left vs Right…Good vs Evil…..forever ongoing.
The left may appear to have won this battle, but The war will continue.

In Text Messages, Biden Voters Already Regret Their Vote

Biden voters are realizing they have been conned.
Text message conversations shared on Twitter show their feelings of betrayal.
      From Mike Cernovich:

Here are the texts from the Biden voters:

      “Wtf is happening?”

“Like ruin the economy on purpose”

      “What the f*ck”

“Where the f*ck is Trump when you need him!?”

      “But…But…character matters”

“Jeremy just called and yelled at me. He said everyone on the job site are freaking out thinking they are going to lose their jobs. He’s blaming me for voting for Biden. You know I hated the way Trump acted. Is it true that Jeremy could lose his job?”

Buyer’s Remorse: New Mexico’s Leaders Say Biden Energy Bans Will Devastate State’s Economy

New Mexico’s leaders are worried that Biden’s war on the energy business will devastate the state’s economy, where education, jobs and public programs depend on funding from the industry.

Joe Biden (supposedly) won New Mexico with 54.29% of the vote vs 43.50% for Trump.

“During his inauguration, President Biden spoke about bringing our nation together. Eliminating drilling on public lands will cost thousands of New Mexicans their jobs and destroy what’s left of our state’s economy,” Carlsbad Mayor Dale Janway told The Associated Press on Friday. “How does that bring us together? Environmental efforts should be fair and well-researched, not knee-jerk mandates that just hurt an already impoverished state.”

‘Insulting and disappointing’: Unions show signs of voter remorse after Biden reality sinks in

Several unions that eagerly endorsed President Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election are now learning the hard way what it means to support Democrat policies.

During his first day in office, the newly-inaugurated president revoked the construction permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline, thus destroying thousands of jobs.

In response, several once unabashedly pro-Trump unions lashed out.

“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1,” Mark McManus, the president of the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters said in a statement Thursday.

“Sadly, the Biden Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work. For the average American family, it means energy costs will go up and communities will no longer see the local investments that come with pipeline construction.”

But the problem is that the union endorsed Biden last year and repeatedly promoted his agenda:

Biden Follows Radical Agenda In First 72 Hours

        Joe Biden isn’t a moderate.

Just 72 hours into being President, Biden has proven his entire campaign was a lie.

Here is what he has done:

        Charlie Kirk
        @charliekirk11

In less than 72 hours, Joe Biden:

        —Killed 70,000+ jobs
        —Eliminated women’s sports
        —Invaded Syria
—Left the National Guard to freeze in a garage
—Admitted he doesn’t have a plan to fight COVID
—Broke his own mask mandate EO
        —Ended US energy independence

        Do you miss Trump yet?

Plus, Biden signed an executive order mandating that illegals be counted in the census.

WSJ – Covid-19 Contracted by Scores of National Guard Members in Washington

Security eases as inauguration week ends, while officials assess impact of heavy security on Washington

Nearly 200 members of the National Guard deployed to Washington in the days leading up to Wednesday’s presidential inauguration have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, and some officials fear cramped rest and working quarters contributed to the spread, defense officials said.

Approximately 26,000 Guard members from all 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia were deployed following the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol to secure the city through the Jan. 20 inauguration.

Since Guardsmen arrived at the Capitol in the days following the attack, images have emerged of hundreds of troops inside the Capitol or other sites, sometimes close together and occasionally not wearing masks. On Thursday evening, a number of lawmakers from both parties spoke out in Twitter posts after reports that Guard members were asked to take rest breaks in a parking garage instead of indoor space.

Reports that Guardsmen were working and moving in tight quarters raised concerns Covid-19 protocols can’t be maintained, a defense official said.

Every Guardsman deployed to Washington was screened for Covid-19 before arriving, but not all were tested, unless required under the screening process, defense officials said.

Roughly 5,000 Guard members are expected to remain in Washington through mid-March to support federal law-enforcement agencies, said Maj. Matthew Murphy, a National Guard spokesman.

I’ve got to admit, I laughed out loud when I read that Biden effectively banned differentiating between men and women in sports. There is no longer men’s sport, or weomens sport. Anyone who wants to plan can play any game they want and compete against whoever turns up.

That’s all good and fine, but what happens when he Olympics comes up next? That’ll confuse them. They’ll have to somehow split their team into, oh what’s that word again? Girls? and Boys? I’d forgotten all about those old stereotypes…

“Release Them All, Immediately” – Joe Biden Orders ICE Agents to Release All Illegal Aliens in Custody

Fox News host Tucker Carlson exclusively obtained a ‘shocking’ internal memo sent to ICE agents ordering them to release all illegal aliens in custody.

In Joe Biden’s first day in office, the Department of Homeland Security issued a sweeping directive to ‘halt all deportations’ for 100 days.

However, Joe Biden took further action to release illegal aliens in custody; it was not mentioned in his order to halt deportations.

An internal email to ICE officers reveals Joe Biden ordered more than 14,000 illegal aliens in custody to be released

According to Breitbart News, 71.45% of the illegals currently in custody are convicted criminals and a danger to society.

Buyer’s Remorse Sets in Over Joe Biden, But It’s Much too Late for the Crying

Elections have consequences. That’s not a new adage, but it’s certainly one that’s extremely relevant right now. Joe Biden has been in office for all of four days, and he’s already destroyed tens of thousands of jobs while putting hundreds of thousands of other jobs in jeopardy. His moves in the energy sector alone promise to kill industry and raise the cost of living for everyone. He even managed to destroy women’s sports in between his moves to blow up our immigration enforcement.

The myth of Biden being a moderate took all of a few days to get blown to bits.

With the reality of a Biden presidency setting in much quicker than most expected, we are starting to see our first signs of buyers remorse, and it’s coming from some corners you might not expect. Here are a few examples.

I’m gonna blow some minds here, but I have a suggestion. If you don’t want your jobs destroyed, maybe don’t vote for the guy who is openly saying he’s going to destroy your jobs? Just a thought. New Mexico voted overwhelmingly for Biden despite many of his policies being known to threaten the state’s economy. Those voters now have to own the results of that. No one made them value beltway sensibilities over their own well-being, but politics is a shallow games.

Meanwhile, Democrats have never been shy about their disdain for the Keystone XL pipeline. Yet, the unions that were set to make billions off the construction of the project endorsed Biden anyway. If you were to ask their leadership why they made that endorsement, they probably couldn’t even tell you. They are a union and unions just endorse Democrats (at least the vast majority of the time). It apparently never crossed their minds to prioritize their own employment and families over the status quo, but here we are.

Meghan McCain also seems to be less than happy with Biden’s start.

If you read the above article, what you’ll see is that Meghan is really upset that Biden would have a “rules for thee but not for me” attitude about COVID and masks. Honestly, I’m confused. Was she under the impression that the Bidens were anything but the quintessential Washington family that believes themselves to be above the little people?

Biden told you who he was. He told you what he was going to do. Some of us tried to warn that no amount of dislike for Trump’s personality would be worth the cost of a Biden presidency. Now, we get to put that theory to the test, and I’m feeling really good about my position after the last four days.

There’s a lesson here, though I doubt it’ll be heeded. If you don’t want your jobs erased and elitist hypocrisy to take center stage, then stop voting for people that promise to deliver that.

Unity Watch: Sorry President Biden, the Honeymoon Is Over Before It Even Started

Most of the time, a new president gets at least a short honeymoon period. President Joe Biden is not so lucky. His approval is already underwater at -2 in Rasmussen’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll. Usually, the country settles down after the election and gives the nation’s new leader the benefit of the doubt. Even President Trump entered the Oval Office with a +2 approval rating, which increased through the end of January 2017. President Obama went in at +8 in 2008.

It was a whirlwind of activity for President Biden in his first 72 hours. He signed an executive order to allow biological men and boys to enter women’s spaces and compete with them directly in employment, education, and sports. With the stroke of the pen, he killed the Keystone XL pipeline and even reversed President Trump’s prohibition on the Chinese Communist Party’s involvement in the U.S. power grid.

The last three days have been like drinking from a firehose as the Biden administration works to erase everything since 2016 as quickly as possible. While there is no way to find out how Americans feel about the full range of issues, Rasmussen has polled a few.

Two days before the inauguration, 72% of likely voters told Rasmussen they felt the country is on the wrong track. That was a five-point bump from the previous week. It’s hard to imagine how the Biden administration will turn these trends around. So far, they have made a hard left turn on almost every policy move with radical positions that most Americans do not support. This team has many members from the Obama administration who never had a problem making a policy or passing a law that didn’t have majority support.

Are you tired of all the unity yet?

I don’t think the Democrats care what the polls say, or don’t have to care. If you can cheat your way into power, then just like Chavez or Maduro or Putin, you can stay in power the same way.

And all the hard left turn on a flurry of EOs proves is that Biden ain’t in charge of anything. But we knew that was going to be the case.

‘The Most Popular President Ever’ Is Getting DESTROYED By ‘Dislikes’ On YouTube.

Videos posted to Joe Biden’s White House YouTube account are getting flooded with ‘dislike’ interactions from the American public – some even dwarfing the number of likes on a video by over six times.

The data is the latest evidence at odds with President Biden receiving the most votes in any presidential election in U.S. history.

At the time of publishing, of the seven videos uploaded to the account – which now has comments turned off – all have more dislikes than likes. In most cases, the like to dislike disparity is striking.

The video “President Biden Reviews the Readiness of Military Troops in a Pass In Review” has 12,000 dislikes – nearly seven times the mere 1,800 likes the video garnered.

The White House account, which has over 1.8 million subscribers, saw its video of Biden’s inauguration earn just 5,300 likes and 23,000 dislikes.

In contrast, President Trump’s latest address – live-streamed on the Right Side Broadcasting Network account – has over 145,000 likes and just 4,500 dislikes.

For Team Biden the situation is so dire that YouTube has even begun removing dislikes from the account.

          Biden’s “The Work Begins” video has 2,400 likes and 10,000 dislikes;

          The “President Biden and Vice President Harris Participate in a Wreath Laying Ceremony” video has 1,600 likes and 11,000 dislikes;

          The “President Biden Signs Executive Orders and Other Presidential Actions” video has 3,200 likes and 13,000 dislikes;
The video “President Biden Swears In Day One Presidential Appointees in a Virtual Ceremony” has 3,300 likes and 13,000 dislikes.

What’s more, the first press briefing has over three times as many likes as dislikes.

The divide is especially startling given it is occurring on YouTube – a video platform which is hardly the home of right-wingers given its routine banning and censoring of conservative content.

Biden Rescinds Trump Order Banning Chinese Communist Involvement In US Power Grid

President Biden has revoked a Trump-era executive order that sought to keep foreign countries and companies out of America’s bulk power systems – principally entities associated with the Chinese Communist Party – as part of his “Executive Order on Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis.”

The National Pulse exposed Biden’s OMB Head as formerly serving as the president of the Center for American Progress (CAP), an establishment think tank that has taken trips to China and co-authored reports alongside a Chinese Communist Party-backed influence operation.

What’s more, Biden’s son Hunter was previously involved in several business relationships with CEFC China Energy Chairman Ye Jianming.

“After his father left office in 2017, Hunter Biden worked on securing a deal with CEFC China Energy to invest in US energy projects, according to documents released by Republicans,” CNN noted.

Similarly, an investment firm headed by Hunter Biden funneled millions into China General Nuclear Power Corp, a state-owned power company guilty of stealing American nuclear technology for use by the Chinese Communist Party for decades.

Did Joe Biden Just Make Our Power Grid Vulnerable to Foreign Adversaries Again?

On May 1, 2020, President Trump signed Executive Order 13920, “Securing the United States Bulk-Power System,” to prevent foreign adversaries from creating and exploiting vulnerabilities in the United States bulk-power system.

“The bulk-power system is a target of those seeking to commit malicious acts against the United States and its people, including malicious cyber activities,” the executive order read. “Although maintaining an open investment climate in bulk-power system electric equipment, and in the United States economy more generally, is important for the overall growth and prosperity of the United States, such openness must be balanced with the need to protect our Nation against a critical national security threat.”

In December, former U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette issued a prohibition order “designed to reduce the risks that entities associated with the People’s Republic of China pose to the Nation’s bulk-power system” under Executive Order 13920, which took effect January 16, 2021—mere days before Biden’s inauguration.

On his first day in office, Joe Biden suspended Executive Order 13920 for 90 days as part of his “Executive Order on Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis.” According to the order, “The Secretary of Energy and the Director of OMB shall jointly consider whether to recommend that a replacement order be issued.”

While it remains to be seen whether a replacement order will be issued, and whether a replacement would similarly protect Americas’s bulk-power system from being exploited by foreign adversaries, it’s still hard to understand why Trump’s executive order was suspended in the first place.

Was it simply an anti-Trump action or was it because of his son Hunter Biden?

As CNN reported last month, “After [Joe Biden] left office in 2017, Hunter Biden worked on securing a deal with CEFC China Energy to invest in US energy projects.” The deal fell through, but Hunter Biden’s business dealings with China may very well be a motive behind his father’s suspending Trump’s executive order. Recall that Joe Biden is on the record saying that “China is not our problem.” And he has repeatedly insisted that his son’s business dealings with Ukraine, while he was vice president and the Obama administration’s point man on Ukraine, was not a conflict of interest.

While President Trump believed in “America First,” Joe Biden seems to believe in “China First.”

            Or perhaps “Family Business First.”

Biden’s Path of ‘Destruction’ Continues: Orders Freeze on Trump’s Order to Slash Prices on Two Life-Saving Drugs

As part of Joe Biden’s determined mission to undo Donald Trump’s presidency, his handlers he ordered the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on Thursday to freeze executive orders from Trump designed to significantly lower prescription drug prices for Americans, including the potentially-life-saving drugs, insulin, and epinephrine.

As reported Daily Wire, Trump signed four executive orders in July that directed the secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to “end a shadowy system of kickbacks by middlemen that lurks behind the high out-of-pocket costs many Americans face at the pharmacy counter.”

During the signing ceremony, Trump said the high price of insulin and EpiPens have cut off low-income people in “desperate” need of the treatments.

A report from Bloomberg Government said the Biden administration is on a “different page” about curbing drug prices than the Trump administration.

Click here for a list of the drugs and devices that are affected by Biden’s ordered freeze.

In the news today: two new Biden schemes, one to redistribute more wealth to poor people, another to enrich super-wealthy Dem donors. This is what I mean when I say that Democrats are the party of the poor and politically connected rich — at the expense of the middle class.

People are shocked.. Literally SHOCKED that Joe Biden’s policies are… bad for the country.

*Gasp* , but… but… but, we voted for Transgender equality at the expense of our women of color and daughters.

Apparently not. The Hill, not exactly a White Supremacist or Right-Wing rag had this to say back in May of 2020:

“Does Biden’s record warrant such confidence? Not really. In fact, Biden has a long history of lying — about himself, about his past and about events that never took place.

“Democrats want the 2020 campaign to be a referendum on President Trump. Fine, but if this is to be a contest of characters, it is only appropriate that Joe Biden’s history of fabrication and deceit – often intended to bolster his intellectual credentials – also be fair game.”

From a history of plagiarism, to lying about the gains and policies of the Obama-Biden administration, to what he planned to do on Day 1 if he was elected president. People had a 47-year recorded history of Biden’s lies, his racism, his flip-flops, and his predilection toward inappropriate behavior with young women and children.

      But that Bad Orange Man…

Getting what you vote for; what a concept. Amazingly, there are people still waiting with bated breath for universal healthcare. How long have they been promising this? With the current track record, how long will it be before it materializes?

Surprise! Joe Biden’s hoping everybody forgot his promise to ‘shut down the virus’ (they haven’t)

Before the election, controlling the spread of Covid-19 was a mainstay on Joe Biden’s list of campaign promises. Here’s just one example:

      Joe Biden
      @JoeBiden

I’m not going to shut down the country.

I’m not going to shut down the economy.

I’m going to shut down the virus

But something magically changed with Biden took office. Suddenly there either appears to have been a huge shift in the “science,” or Biden flat-out lied:.

Seriously? Weren’t we told something very different in recent months?

Rural America, Prepare for Biden’s Newly-Proposed Tax

When President Joe Biden announced former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg as his pick for Transportation Secretary, many scratched their heads. Why would he tap someone who oversaw a small budget, in a small town, in the midwest for such a role? That puzzle is finally coming together.

It turns out that Biden favors Buttigieg’s transportation views, specifically the idea that America should move away from the gas tax and instead opt into a tax based on the number of miles a person travels. It would be a new way to provide cash for the Highway Trust Fund, which currently funding from the federal gas tax. As it currently stands, the federal gas tax is 18.4 cents per gallon and 24.4 cents per gallon for diesel.

Should the Biden administration move forward with taxing Americans based on the number of miles they drive on any given day, rural America would be the ones disproportionately impacted. They live further outside of metro areas. Many travel 20 to 30 miles one way to work or to do any kind of major grocery shopping. Farmers, especially those who live even further out – a few hours from a metropolitan area – would be punished because they don’t live in the inner cities.

This is a prime example of why rural folks feel forgotten about. It’s always about what’s best for those who live in the cities, not about those who grow and transport your food, or do the dirty work no one else is willing to do. It’s about those who work in fancy offices in New York City, not the loggers and miners who work in dangerous conditions to provide heating options for the very people who despise them.

      Biden Promises Pain

By Matthew Vadum -January 24, 2021

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., 78 (aka JoeBama), was installed North Korea-style as the placeholder president of the United States of America on January 20, surrounded by 25,000 U.S. troops, along with hundreds of socially-distancing well-wishers in front of an empty National Mall populated with a vast forest of planted American flags to distract from the fact that no one was there.

How long he will last before Nancy Pelosi invokes the 25th Amendment to replace him with the predatory Obama wannabe Kamala Harris is anyone’s guess.

The speech came as the Washington Post admitted hours after militia members were charged in connection with the January riot that former President Donald Trump had nothing to do with the civil disturbance that delayed our Potemkin parliament’s certification of electors a few hours.

This was, of course, the riot after which Biden, statist simpleton that he is, scolded lawmakers who thought they were running for their very lives for not stopping to put face masks on.

In the process Biden misgendered his own home state House member, saying he was “so proud of my congressman right here in the state of Delaware, Lisa Blunt Rochester,” for trying to distribute masks to other lawmakers during the riot. Reportedly, some Republicans declined the offer, prompting Biden to growl, “What the hell’s the matter with them? It’s time to grow up.”

The man who administered the oath of office to Biden, Chief Justice John Roberts, is arguably largely responsible for Biden’s so-called victory because he signed on to a series of decisions that ignored election law and put Trump, whom he hates with a passion, at a disadvantage.

In one case, on October 19, 2020, Roberts inexplicably betrayed his own oath of office by voting with the three liberal justices to refuse a stay in Republican Party of Pennsylvania v. Boockvar.

With only eight justices on the Supreme Court at the time, this resulted in a tie 4-4 vote denying a Republican request to stay the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s blatantly unconstitutional ruling that usurped the power of the state legislature and forced state election officials to accept mail-in ballots received up to three days after Election Day.

The GOP presciently argued the extra time was an invitation to fraud, especially because the Pennsylvania court ruled election officials had to accept ballots late even if they lacked a postmark.

Roberts ignored the Electors Clause of the U.S. Constitution, which vests the power to determine state election procedures in state legislatures alone.

Squinting, and at times barking out the words on the teleprompter like someone with a wildly malfunctioning hearing aid, the newly inserted chief executive stumbled over a text that was weighted down with clichés, sentence fragments, and what passes for patriotism in Democratic Party circles. It was a bargain-basement inaugural address.

A co-conspirator in the ultimately successful four-year-plus-long rolling coup that used, among other things, Hillary Clinton’s fake Russian dossier and taxpayer-funded U.S. intelligence agencies to undermine the duly elected 45th president of the United States, the corrupt, lying serial plagiarist, groper of females of all ages, and hair sniffer, outlined his planned assaults on economic freedom, the First and Second Amendments, as well as the coming wave of repression directed against his enemies.

Then there was the Orwellian part of Biden’s address in which he seemed to be outlining plans for a new Thought Police or maybe a citizen-dominated Thought Militia.

Biden said, “we must reject the culture in which facts themselves are manipulated and even manufactured.”

This sounds much like Barack Obama urging his supporters to “get in the face” of his opponents.

The ”lies” to which Biden refers concern the justified worries of Americans about election fraud. Anyone who says Biden or the Democrats stole the election from Trump may be targeted in some way. As I wrote earlier this week, Republican lawmakers and lawyers are the first to be attacked but more harassment and persecution are coming.

What if the Capitol Rioters Had Been Democrats and Ashli Babbitt a Black Woman?

It is at this point that the prudent conservative writer, aware of the ongoing effort to cancel people of his benighted sort, is compelled to offer a statement of principles. Here are mine, as they pertain to the current political climate. I believe:

      People should obey the law.

Those who don’t should be justly punished as the law prescribes.

Both of the above should be applied equally regardless of one’s ethnicity or where one falls on the political spectrum.

Simple, right? It wasn’t so long ago that nearly everyone could agree on these rules, but recent events and the demands of electoral politics have inspired a previously unimaginable elasticity of principle in some quarters, most conspicuously among those same sophisticated betters in government, the media, and academia, who were aghast at the sight of federal officers defending against the nightly siege of the federal courthouse in Portland, but who welcomed, temporarily, 25,000 troops brought in to protect Biden’s inauguration.

Yes, the double standards have been on vivid display since Jan. 6. As further proof of this, consider a counterfactual: Donald Trump has won the election by a slim margin, and some of Joe Biden’s supporters have raised questions about the legitimacy of the vote-counting in certain states. Their objections are rebuffed in the courts, and when Congress meets to certify the electoral votes, a crowd of protesters gathers outside the Capitol, encouraged by Democratic politicians and talking heads on cable news. Some smaller number of those protesters breach the security perimeter and force their way into the Capitol, sending the occupants scurrying for safety. In the chaos that follows, a black woman protester is shot and killed by a police officer as she climbs through an interior window near the House chamber.

Can there be any doubt that such an event would have triggered the destruction of the Capitol and much of Washington, D.C., and that the rioting would have spread to every major American city and lasted for days? Can there be any doubt that the dead woman’s name would be continuously on the lips of every talking head on every news program, and that her face would adorn murals from coast to coast? Can there be any doubt that the video of the fatal encounter would be broadcast endlessly, that the involved officer would be made infamous across all media, and that and there would be calls for him and even Trump himself to be prosecuted for murder?

As it happened, Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed by a Capitol police officer without any apparent legal justification, has been largely forgotten in the wake of this so-called insurrection. Her death is a mere parenthetical to the story. Why?

Also largely forgotten is Brian Sicknick, the Capitol police officer who died after leaving the melee at the Capitol and returning to his office. The cause of Sicknick’s death and the circumstances of any altercation he may have been involved in have not been made public, though the FBI is reported to be investigating his death as a homicide.

There is so much more to come out about this whole affair. Who were the activists that attacked the Capitol 30 minutes before Trump finished speaking to the crowd. Why did police remove the barriers and allow the people to approach the building? Why did security guards open the doors and even guide people around inside the building. Why did a security person shoot dead an unarmed woman. Will we ever know?

Rand Paul Just Asked About Bernie Sanders Not Taking Heat for Inciting Steve Scalise’s Shooter. But Other Big Dem Players Also Egged the Assassin on

But, as a matter of fact, it’s only been three and a half years since the Bernie Sanders supporter pictured above shouted, “This is for healthcare!” before putting a bullet in GOP congressman, Steve Scalise.

James Hodgkinson only failed to murder Scalise and massacre another dozen or so GOP senators and congressman plus whatever family, friends, and aids were unlucky enough to show up at their baseball practice because he was a such lousy shot.

One man who survived the attack was Senator Rand Paul.

Well Senator Paul asked the million dollar question yesterday on Sean Hannity’s Fox News Show.

To wit, why isn’t Bernie Sanders blamed for inciting Hodgkinson’s attempted murder spree?

But Rand Paul could have included a whole of other Democrats in his question. Because Sanders was just one voice among many spewing the most toxic lies about Donald Trump.

Because, even apart from his devotion to Bernie Sanders, James Hodgkinson left absolutely no doubt about what motivated his murder spree.

In a March 12 post on his now-scrubbed Facebook page, the would-be assassin wrote, “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time To Destroy Trump & Co.”

Where did Hodgkinson get the idea that Donald Trump is a traitor?

Well, President Clinton’s former secretary of labor Robert Reich is one likely source. He wrote a Newsweek column just three months before Hodgkinson’s attempted massacre headlined,

Is Trump a Traitor or a Paranoid?“

So, though Rand Paul was perfectly right to wonder why Bernie Sanders doesn’t get held accountable when one of his supporters screams about socialized health care and starts shooting bullets at GOP congressman, their family, and friends.
But don’t think it was just Bernie Sanders by any means.

John Solomon: Capitol Attack Security Failures; What Crossfire Hurricane Declassified Docs Will Show

Days before the shocking events of January 6th, the Pentagon chief expressed concerns about potential violence at the Capitol and offered to deploy the National Guard, says investigative journalist John Solomon.

“The fundamental question is not: did someone see this coming? Because the NYPD, FBI, Pentagon, Capitol Police all believe they saw something bad coming. I think the fundamental question was: why weren’t the resources deployed? And who made that decision?” Solomon says.

In this episode, we sit down with John Solomon, founder of Just the News, to discuss investigations into the January 6 attack on the Capitol as well as soon-to-be-released declassified documents from the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

“Right now, my sources telling me to prepare for a handful, a small number of indictments sometime in the next three months or so,” Solomon says.

One of the things I experienced when trying to educate my self about climate science was that the actual facts were not that hard to find.
It is the propaganda narrative the is very difficult to overcome.
First off, IMHO, Ashli Babbitt and Crispus Attucks belong together in history.
She was breaching a secure area, as best I can discern.
As an American, and the proud descendant and beneficiary of an ‘insurrection’, I once again find myself at odds with the ‘narrative’.

Were Pelosi, McConnell warned of potential violence before Capitol riot? Offices remain mum

Representatives of the Speaker of the House and Senate Republican Leader are also silent on whether the leaders weighed in on having National Guard troops bolster security at the Capitol prior to the events of Jan. 6.

The offices of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell won’t say whether the congressional leaders were briefed on potential violence ahead of the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol — or whether they weighed in on requesting help from the National Guard to bolster Capitol security.

Just the News reached out to representatives for Pelosi and asked if the speaker was briefed about threats of violence in advance of the rally. Her office was also asked if the speaker favored or opposed having National Guard troops help Capitol Police to protect the Capitol Building before the rally. Her office didn’t provide a response.

McConnell’s press office was asked the same questions, but they did not return a request for comment.

Security sources told Just the News that Pelosi’s staff was briefed on threats of violence, but it is unclear if Pelosi herself was briefed directly or indirectly on the situation.

In a timeline of events from the Pentagon, defense officials wrote that U.S. Capitol Police twice said that they did not need help from the military. According to the timeline, Capitol Police confirmed that stance to Defense Department officials and to Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy.

U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund reportedly asked House and Senate security officials if they wanted National Guard troops to assist the Capitol Police in protecting the Capitol complex in advance of the Jan. 6 rally. According to The Washington Post, House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving said he was not in support of declaring an emergency ahead of the rally. Sund and Irving have since resigned.

President Trump delivered remarks at a pro-Trump rally before the riot at the U.S. Capitol. The Democratic-led House of Representatives passed an article of impeachment against former President Trump last week for “incitement of insurrection.”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has raised questions about the events leading up to the Jan. 6 riot.

“We should get to the bottom of this,” McCarthy said on Thursday. “There are so many questions that need to be answered. There are so many questions that I have personally as a leader. I read in the paper that the FBI, prior to any rally, had information that something was going to happen here and conveyed that to the Capitol Police. I want to know why was the Republican leader not notified of that? Why was I not notified to make sure that we protect?”

The left will also in the not too distant future relish the total destruction of the Constitutional Federal Republic. Make no mistake about it, it will die and the left along with the globalists will make sure of it. The only question is by what means; by civil war or by apathy? Time will tell.

It seems clear to me that what happened at the capital building was exactly what the Democrats wanted. They were meant to be meeting to confirm or object to the electoral votes , and then discuss , potentially for a couple of hours why the votes for each state should be certified or not.If these discussions were held I suspect many of the arguments discussed could’ve become public and maybe even received some mainstream media. The Democrats and MSM had a narrative to maintain and they knew that the attack on the capital as it played out ( and the timing) would 1. Cut short any discussion of voter fraud( if not eliminate it altogether) 2. Convince RINOs ( of which there were plenty) that they would certify the vote 3. Enable them to create a narrative to impeach the President knowing that with the help of the mainstream media they would be able to create popular support for the idea. 4. By making this into a narrative about domestic terrorism any discussion about voter fraud would go away. There is no doubt in my find that the main story about the election is not the storming of the capital but the way the Democrats were able to blatantly steal the election and not face any scrutiny, any proper audits or checks even though more than 50% of voters believe it was stolen. It was within the power of the authorities, whether that be FBI, the courts, the congress to confirm the integrity of the result but every attempt was stonewalled until Trump had nowhere to go. There were times when I think a breakthrough was close but there were too many people in positions of influence that made sure none of the evidence was properly tested. The fear and intimidation of anyone who would stand up to the Democrats, the media, and complete leftist machinery made it difficult and dangerous for any individuals who supported Trump or helped him to get the cases heard. What has happened to individuals and Companies who supported Trump since shows that the fears of lawmakers and justices about what happens to those that support Trump has probably justified their inaction. The Antifa and BLM riots that took place for months prior to the election were also are warning of what was to come if anyone dared to overturn the dubious result .
So its clear to me that the fact that the Democrats benefitted so much from the storming of the Capital building that they must have been in some way were complicit to what happened. Even though it has yet to be proved the fact that it appears that Antifa reps may have been active in inciting what happened and certain officers were very accomodating in allowing protestors to enter the building makes one suspicious that the attack as it happened was not entirely spontaneous and had been planned to suit the Democrats in terms of both timing and severity.
It just seems too convenient to me for the Democrats that what happened , did in fact happen, and I can’t help think that the outcome was somewhat choreographed to suit there ongoing narrative and bury any thought about investigating or auditing the election results and procedures.

Yes, in summary it was a trap staged by the Democrats and Trump fell for it. See, even Trump can make mistakes and I suspect he now realises it. The ocean of deceit and lies by the Democrats was just too much for one man. He had to go. The courts made sure of that to block any attempt for a legal and peaceful means to turn things around to his favour. The Democrats had the help financially and of the experience from the globalist elite to carry out the soft coup. It could only ever happen though if roughly half the population who supported Trump remained aloof, which to their credit they did to avoid a civil war. The stage is set for the eventual destruction of the Federation now that the Constitution and the Republic are no longer relevant.

OF course it was revolutionary stagecraft. The error was Mr. Trumps, unfortunately, plying into their hands.
Another venue for the rally, away from the capitol, with a prayer vigil while the congress “debated” might have been a better
choice. Even with facts on your side, or perhaps especially with act on your side, one still has o put on a good show.
Folks who spend a lot of time thinking about and worrying about politics often don’t appreciate the few fleeting moments
working folks have to give to the subject, or how their impressions are formed. For many years the grassroots left has
knows the songs should be longer than the speech because the artist is more respected than the speaker; we know hollywood
types for the bumpkins they often are, but the inattentive identify them with the characters they ply.

There will be many opportunities to dramatize the foolishness of the left over the next few years; we’d best learn how.
It will be something minor but viral, like the tears of a girl athlete losing a lifetime of training crushed by a trans pretender,
that will capture people’s imagination and open the emotional floodgates of people who generally pay little attention.
“this could have been your daughter”……From girls like this to angel moms to canceled small businesses to all of us paying more for ebergy
the left is four square in the business of creating victims of their policies; the genius of Mr Trump, like that of Mr. Reagan, was helping all know who to blame,
and it wasn’t “great unseen forces beyond our control” or “structural racism”.

This blog is a relatively igh level conversation. Retail politics are not.

AWKWARD: After Inauguration Bidens Were Locked Out of White House – They Fired Trump Butler and No One Was There to Open the Doors

The Clown show continues. The Daily Mail reported that the Bidens were locked out of the White House on Inauguration day. President Trump’s butler was fired hours before the inauguration and no one was there to open the door.
The Daily Mail reported on another embarrassing gaffe at the Biden Inauguration. No one showed up for the Biden’s Inauguration other than soldiers, media and politicians. This showed what millions believe: Biden stole the 2020 election. The embarrassing day turned into more of a clown show as the Bidens approached the White House.

Joe and Jill Biden walked through the gates and up to the front doors, only to find the doors wouldn’t open.

This was reportedly because the incoming administration had fired President Trump’s butler hours before and the butler was the one to greet guests to the White House.

Rampant Speculation Over How Biden Will Replace the Mysterious Red Button Suddenly Missing From Oval Office

Their recorders were perilously close to the red button.

But Dunn expressed surprise on Twitter that Biden had removed the button – the very button that he and Sunday Times colleague Tim Shipman saw Trump push during their interview with the 45th president.

Seconds after pushing the button during their 2019 interview, Dunn reported that a “butler” appeared in the Oval Office holding a silver tray upon which rested the very thing the president beckoned.

        A Diet Coke.

Trump, who is a notoriously light sleeper – sleeping only four to five hours a night – called for a cool pick-me-up.

Time Magazine verified the existence of the desktop red button used for Diet Coke.

Seeing this on the social media site that has canceled Trump and other conservatives, some enterprising Americans believe they know what President Biden will replace the button with!

This man believed Biden would use such a button to call the “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” people.

        OR

Could Biden replace the button with one to call his and his son’s reported “red Chinese” business partners in the Chinese communist party?

The war started long ago: in fact soon after WW2 the losing side infiltrated the recently established United Nations. An Australian Labor Party Federal Government Attorney General, Evatt, a Communist during a period that resulted in a split between the Labor right and the Labor Communists with establishment of The Australian Democratic Labor Party, provided the plan to organise treaties and agreements between the UN and member nations that could be legislated without reference to the people and implemented. Constitutional laws and referendums pushed aside.

Of course the New World Order agenda of leftists began in the late 1800s in England, The Fabian Society of Socialists, and their influence in politics reached out to countries like Germany, and most here know about that time in history and the objectives. And One World Government with no sovereign nations and borders, or as former Australian Greens leader Brown explained to a National Press Club luncheon during his address, his dream of a “world parliament”.

And yes, the left are winning the war this time, the political war for control and management of the people of the world, and most people are unaware of it and are misled daily by “fake news” including important news not published or broadcast, the media management propaganda machine controlled by shareholder globalists.

With Trump Impeachment Push, It Looks Like Cocaine Mitch Could Suffer an Overdose

Why Mitch? Either he knows the numbers and doesn’t care, or he doesn’t know. This is a sure-fire way to kill GOP chances of retaking Congress in 2022. You cannot purge Trump from the Republican Party. He is the party. The vast majority of GOP voters are still MAGA proud, with nearly 40 percent being true die-hards. The base isn’t moving away from Trump. Any dips that occurred after January 6 are easily recoverable in the coming months. One thing is clear: the base is done with the inside the beltway elite and operative class that generated milquetoast presidential candidates.

You cannot win elections when you make moves that drive nearly 40 percent of the base to revolt. This is one of those moments. If Mitch decides to shack up with Democrats on this impeachment move, the 2022 midterm season is dead. In the House, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) did a conscience vote and voted for impeachment. Now, more than half of the GOP caucus wants her to relinquish her leadership position. Lady, in your state, more people voted for Trump than you. That’s an easy reading of the tea leaves.

      The Swamp Runs Deep

EXCLUSIVE: State Dept Docs Reveal Pence Chief Of Staff Referred Biden Bud Frank Luntz For Secretary Role.

A leaked document from the U.S. State Department and seen by The National Pulse appears to show former Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff Marc Short recommending Frank Luntz – whose close relationship with Hunter Biden was exposed via the President-Elect’s son’s hard drive – for the role of Under Secretary of Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs.

Luntz was recommended for the position, which aims to “lead America’s public diplomacy outreach, which includes messaging to counter terrorism and violent extremism” by Short, whom President Trump viewed as partly responsible for Pence’s certification of electors on January 6th and saw his White House access revoked in response.

The revelations come from a leaked “highly confidential” State Department document, which outlines Short’s rationale for the position was Luntz’s previous work in “PR” and as a “GOP Political Pollster.”

“Support the achievement of U.S. foreign policy goals and objectives, advance national interests, and enhance national security by informing and influencing foreign publics and [missing] by expanding and strengthening the relationship between the people and Government of the United States and citizens of the rest of the world,” the document adds as the “key issue” for the position.

The recommendation was ill-advised, as Luntz has especially strong ties to the Biden family.

Emails from Hunter Biden’s hard drive – which Luntz infamously downplayed the severity of – reveal Luntz begging the then-Vice President’s son for access.

On October 31st, 2012, Luntz emailed Hunter Biden the following:

Dem Governors Blow off Their Own Virus Restrictions to Hang out at Inauguration

Of course, we then heard the stories of the various Democratic politicians who were flouting their own orders to go visit their own families. Do as they say, not as they do, being all the rage.

Turns out that exception apparently extends beyond just visiting their families or heading off to the idyllic isles to party.

Turns out there’s also the “Joe Biden” exception to the rules they impose on us all.

Remember Michigan’s Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, the Iron Lady, who wants everyone to lock down? She apparently gave herself an exemption to head off to see the inauguration. As the Detroit Free Press explained, “Whitmer has generally discouraged Michiganders from traveling and attending gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic.” As the Free Beacon reports, she had just banned outdoor gatherings of 25 or more. But she then headed off to an outdoor gathering or far more than 25 people — about 2,000 to be exact. Talk about super spreader.

    Tori Sachs
    @Tori_Sachs

Gov. Whitmer can travel to D.C. and attend Joe Biden’s inauguration celebration but Michiganders can’t step into their local diner or coney for a meal.

She doesn’t see any hypocrisy, apparently, in doing so. She tried to claim they were spread out (not) and masked (yes). But she didn’t allow that in her order; she simply forbid gatherings over 25, masked or social distancing, it didn’t matter. This wasn’t the first time she’d shown what a hypocrite she was — she also marched in close quarters with BLM protesters claiming it was cool because she had hand sanitizer.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf were also in attendance despite the rules they have promulgated in their own states

      From the Comments

Has she checked with Dastardly Dan?

How face masks, gloves and other coronavirus waste is polluting our ocean

One study estimates that in the UK alone, if every person used a single-use face mask a day for a year, it would create an additional 66,000 tonnes of contaminated waste and 57,000 tonnes of plastic packaging.
      https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/06/ppe-masks-gloves-coronavirus-ocean-pollution/

Not only do they not work but they are also causing massive amounts of pollution. What’s environmentalists doing about it? Have heard nothing from them.

They are almost totally useless for any individual who is not symptomatic, and as pointed out by the WHO and others, can actually cause infection as untrained people use them incorrectly.

Politicians however, who are self proclaimed experts, apparently know better or simply enjoy inflicting further inconvenience and discomfort on the long suffering public.

Amazon Demands In-Person Union Vote After Arguing Mail-In Ballots ‘Raise Risk Of Fraud’

The world’s largest online retailer said that a mail election raised the risk of fraud and the coercion of workers. It also said the process would depress turnout, arguing that as many as 29% of its more than 5,800 employees eligible to vote wouldn’t do so or would return incorrectly completed ballots. -Bloomberg

The solution, according to Amazon? Hold the election in a heated tent in the facility’s parking lot in conjunction with software designed to ensure social distancing. The NLRB says conditions are too dangerous for in-person voting, and that acquiescing to Amazon’s demands might give workers the impression that government employees conducting the vote might be receiving inappropriate benefits from the company.

Taiwan Reports 13 Incursions By Chinese Air Force In One Day

During the final months of the Trump administration Chinese PLA military exercises near Taiwan grew as part of the tit-for-tat escalation of Washington moves in support of the self-declared Republic.

Lately Chinese jets have breached Taiwan’s claimed airspace as part of ongoing ‘show of force’ maneuvers in the contested area. But on Saturday, a mere few days following President Joe Biden’s entry into the White House, China’s military undertook one of its biggest flyovers yet.

The new White House National Security Council has this week vowed that America’s commitment to Taiwan would remain “rock-solid”. But it remains to be seen if Biden keeps up the provocative level of Trump’s weapons sales to Taiwan, which reached a historic peak in the latter part of 2020.

There is method in this madness. With these incursions Taiwan must scramble aircraft, interfering with real training and shortening the lives of their aircraft. And of course they get first hand experience of Taiwan’s electronic defences.

But US and European jet engines have longer lives than Chinese ones and Russia is playing hard-ball with supply of engines because China reverse engineers them. A few years ago I read that the Ruskies were sealing their engines and would not repair/replace any with broken seals.

International Economy – A Remarkable Resemblance – PDF 8 Pages

      By Robert D. Atkinson

      Germany from 1900
      to 1945 and China
      today. Time for a
      NATO for trade?

Germany was neither a free trader nor a protectionist. It was a “power trader” that used trade as a key tool
to gain commercial and military advantage over its adversaries.

Germany’s policies and programs were designed not only to advance its own economic and military power, but to also degrade its adversaries’ economies.

The United States needs to take steps to ensure a strong non-Chinese supply of rare earth minerals, as well as provide
incentives for companies to move some supply chains out of China

Just as Germany engaged in monetary manipulation to reduce its export costs, for many years China relied on currency
manipulation to become the world’s manufacturing workshop.

The West, led by America, waited too long to use its power to compel China to change its economic and trade policies

China has clearly pursued power trade with smaller, less-developed nations

It means the formation of a “NATO for trade” to more effectively counter Beijing’s strategy of picking off trade
adversaries one at a time and bullying them into submission.

(What’s Left of) Our Economy: Why China Really is Like Nazi Germany

Because Nazi references can be so irresponsibly inflammatory, and therefore have been so often abused, I haven’t yet compared the threat posed by China to the rest of the world to that posed by Nazi Germany. (In my view, these comparisons have been used even more recklessly lately in U.S. domestic politics, chiefly to describe former President Trump and his views and policies.) So even though the People’s Republic, its ambitions, and its burgeoning capabilities do scare the living daylights out of me (and should scare you), I was nonetheless pretty surprised to see precisely this comparison just made by Robert D. Atkinson.

Atkinson is the head of a technology-focused Washington, D.C. think tank who I’ve known since the early 1990s. I’ve admired some of its work and haven’t been so crazy about other examples of its output, but I’ve never, ever considered him a boat-rocker, much less a rhetorical bomb thrower. In fact, my criticisms of the numerous studies and articles issued by his Information Technology and Innovation Foundation stem from my view that they’re way too cautious when it comes to countering China’s wide range of predatory economic practices (which include predatory technology policy practices like the theft and extortion of intellectual property).

And I’ve attributed much of this caution to the Foundation’s donor base – which is dominated by the U.S. and in some cases foreign tech and manufacturing companies that have worked so hard to send so much production and employment, and (voluntarily) so much technology to China for decades. It’s true that many of these firms are now crying foul as Beijing in recent years has aimed to strengthen its own entities’ positions at the foreigners’ expense. Yet their stubborn opposition to the unilateral Trump tariffs and some key sanctions on the Chinese tech outfits that have been major customers made clear their vain hope that they could somehow have their China cake and eat it, too.

    I wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then

I sure wish I had not learned so much over the last five years. In retrospect, five short years ago seems almost like Mayberry. Here are some important things that I didn’t know five years ago or now.

. There actually is a Deep State, and those who constitute it really do not honor the election results or the will of the people.
. There really appear to be lawless elements within the upper echelons of the FBI, CIA, and NSA who are not accountable for their crimes and are thus above the law.
. The fourth branch of government, the bureaucracy, really is unaccountable to the “unwashed masses.”
. Many of our top military command, along with many in the military-industrial complex, don’t always hate wars. There’s a lot of money and many promotions to be made during a time of war. The last four years saw no new wars and even troops coming home. For some, that is bad for business.
. Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm are no longer works of fiction, but prophecies.
. George Orwell was righter than Nostradamus.
.The news media centers of New York City and Washington, D.C. are not neutral arbitrators of the truth; rather, they uncomfortably resemble TASS and Pravda from the Soviet Union days.
. The old robber barons like Rockefeller, Carnegie, and J.P. Morgan are starting to look a whole lot better compared to the new robber barons like Dorsey, Zuckerberg, and Bezos.
. The United States Supreme Court would actually refuse to hear a legitimate case because it was frightened of violence.
. The left insists on conflating and equating evangelical Christians with White supremacists. This should terrify the Christian community.
. Words such as mom, dad, aunt, uncle, brother, and sister are now not words of love and respect, but considered politically incorrect verbiage in Congress.
. Censorship, the cancel culture, and becoming a nonperson come from the left, not the right.
. The left, not the right, actually is going to try to deny citizens’ rights afforded to all in the Bill of Rights.
. Violence from the left is regarded as free speech and noble, while violence from the right is classified as sedition and felonious by powerful institutions.
. It really is not Republicans vs. Democrats, but globalists vs. nationalists.
. The new McCarthyism, blacklists, history re-writers, and re-education camps are coming from the left, not the right.
. Fences and barriers are a good thing for our nation’s capital but somehow a bad thing for our nation’s borders.
. Our Founding Fathers of yesteryear would be called “domestic terrorists” by some today.
. Presidential elections really can be stolen by corrupting just a handful of precincts in just a handful of states.
. Calling into question the validity of the 2016 presidential election is patriotic, while calling into question the validity of the 2020 presidential election is treasonous.

I realised that some time ago. They were greedy as hell but were always loyal Americans and eventually philanthropists. Gates is neither loyal nor philanthropic.

America Is (Not So) Slowly Turning Communist Red

Perhaps the most contemptible action of the Democrats, and there have been so many, is the desire to completely erase Trump and, by extension, his MAGA movement.

So now “more than 250 authors, editors, agents, professors and others in the American literary community signed an open letter this week opposing any publisher who signs book deals with President Donald Trump or members of his administration.” Such actions can only be described as emulating a dog gone mad. It is rabies of the mind and soul. Clearly, their politics supersede economics, and everything is upside-down in this madness.

That people involved with ideas and books would inveigh against the publishing of important thoughts is mind-boggling! Even more disturbing is the ease with which they lie. For the umpteenth time, Trump did not cage any children; Obama did, but why let the facts get in the way of left-wing censorship?

In addition, Texas Democrat Rep. Joaquin Castro announced “that he would be introducing legislation that would prevent any federal buildings or property from ever being named after President Trump.”

In lockstep with tyrants, Castro displays the most hideous of instincts as he states, “President Trump incited an insurrection that damaged some of our nation’s most significant and sacred federal property. Donald Trump should never become a future generation’s confederate symbol.”

How ironic that his last name is Castro, mastermind of communist Cuba and purveyor of the horrors that Cubans have endured for the past 60 years. How stunning that he perverts history. How very 1984.

In 2019, “Joe Biden proclaimed that the Chinese Communists were ‘not bad folks,’ and the Delaware Democrat has never showed any knowledge of the mass atrocities scholars have chronicled” — e.g., genocide of Uighurs, Kazakhs.

In light of Biden’s attitudes and appointments, “Americans might wonder if entire ‘classes’ of people such as deplorables, Christians, and elderly people of pallor might be targeted for violence. For leftist Democrats, these are the equivalent of those mutant social growths that need to be uprooted if society is to progress in a socialist direction.”

The choice is clear. There really is no middle ground, because communism wrapped up in Democrat platitudes takes no prisoners. Communism simply destroys whatever stands in its way.

It is outrageous! Even the banks are not taking his accounts.

I can only think of one person who has been more persecuted than Donald Trump and He died 2000 years ago.

The full forces of the Democrats, the media and social media have been on his back for over 4 years, who can withstand that? I am disgusted with the supreme court so the only hope left is the military

What has happened to Sidney Powell, Rudy Julliani and co,… and the Kracken?

Biden’s approval in week one is below 50%
He enters office with lower numbers than DT did on leaving office. Kind of points to a lot of bogus votes doesn’t it?

In the light of the chaos and turmoil around us today, I have been pondering on Brooks Adams’ book “THE LAW OF CIVILISATION AND DECAY” (1897) in which he wrote in the Preface:

“. . . The value of history lies not in the multitude of facts collected, BUT IN THEIR RELATION TO EACH OTHER, and in this respect an author can have no larger responsibility than any other scientific observer.
If the sequence of events seems to indicate the EXISTENCE OF A LAW GOVERNING SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, such a law may be suggested, but to approve or disapprove of it would be as futile as to discuss the moral bearings of gravitation. . .”

    PDF found here-
    https://alor.org/Storage/Library/PDF/Adams_B-Law_Of_Civilization.pdf

Whilst Brooks Adams was writing about the collapse of the Roman Civilisation, historian, Eric H. Cline writes of an earlier one, “1177 B.C.: The Year Civilisation Collapsed” and now historians are writing about this civilisation’s threatened collapse.

A review of Cline’s book can be found here:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1177_B.C.:_The_Year_Civilization_Collapsed

If I have grasped the importance of what Brooks Adams wrote, then we would be wise to not only study the law Governing Social Development but also the Law Leading to its Decay.

Eric Cline writes about WHAT and HOW the collapse happened, but Brooks Adams wrote about WHY it happened. Quite a lesson for us in this 21stt century to learn.

    Biden’s Fossil-Fuel Freeze

Climate activists are now running federal oil and gas permitting.

    By The WSJ Editorial Board

Any doubt that the Biden Administration plans to slowly regulate fossil fuels out of existence vanished this week. First came the Keystone XL pipeline kill, but perhaps more significant is the 60-day freeze on new leases on federal lands and bureaucratic permitting. The pause could soon become a long-term ban.

Federal lands account for about 22% of U.S. oil production, 12% of natural gas and 40% of coal. When the Obama Administration slowed oil and gas permitting on federal land, drilling and exploration shifted to private land. The Biden Administration may shut that down too.

Start with the 60-day suspension on new leases on federal land. Producers in older oil and gas fields won’t be significantly affected, and many have already scaled back investment in places like California and Louisiana while pouring more into shale. But shale fracking occurs in large part on federal land in western states, and it continually requires new leases and investment.

Federal land accounts for 51.9% of New Mexico’s oil production and 66.8% of its natural gas, as well as a sizable share of gas extraction in Colorado (41.6%), Utah (63.2%) and Wyoming (92.1%). A federal leasing ban would cost some 18,000 jobs in Colorado, 33,000 in Wyoming and 62,000 in New Mexico by 2022, according to the American Petroleum Institute.

States would also lose hundreds of millions of dollars of mineral royalties that are shared by the feds. Oil and gas revenue accounts for 20% of New Mexico’s budget. Downstream suppliers like fracking sand mines in Wisconsin and steel manufacturers in Pennsylvania would also be hit.

The Biden Administration has also essentially frozen new fossil-fuel investment on private land with an order prohibiting career officials from signing off on easements, right of ways, environmental reviews, and resource management plans for 60 days. This ensures nothing gets done until the Senate confirms his political appointees, who can then issue formal rules and regulation to shut down production.

Put simply, the Biden administration have absolutely no clue about energy.

Where will the gas for industry and for heating (v important at this time of the year) come from? When the snow falls the panels are covered and windmills have lots of issues. Having lived in the Mid West the last thing you need is a power outage in a bad cold snap. The pipes all freeze, then leak everywhere when you warm things up, and people die for lack of heat.

Totally clueless. But what else would we expect from an administration which aggressively wants to make every body when there is no science, and as noted here, pushes policies to fight climate change, something that will happen regardless…

I don’t think they have any clue about anything. Hatred of trump was all they had and knew and it’s been removed and it’s already falling flat. And the only real insurrection that’s going on anywhere is in the Dems as the young radicals seem ready to blow the thing up if they don’t get their way. The conditions there are conducive for the fraud details to percolate their way to the top. Doesn’t look like a four year administration let alone an eight year one. I reckon something could happen here…..
