Why the Australian dollar will hit a record low in the next five years
A top strategist has predicted the Aussie dollar will drop to a record low as China faces an uncomfortable truth that’s brewed for decades.

He argues that China has now reached the precipice of its gargantuan economic boom and now has a massive housing bubble to contend with. According to the economist, the nation of 1.4 billion has sold roughly $12 trillion in property that is yet to be built.

“We’ve begun to replicate what happened in the 1990s. The 90s was a decade long unwind where Japan had consumed a lot of iron ore and became a superpower,” he told news.com.au.

“That is now happening with China, who is replaying that almost precisely. They’ve had their economic boom, and now it’s turning. Their $64 trillion housing market is an enormous bubble with astronomic holes.”

The masses are disgruntled and after this flood, even more so.

Naturally the authorities are clamping down on unrest, a lot of people are out of work and living in the streets as ghost towers remain empty. Greed is great until it becomes unstuck, this downturn will impact Australia.

Xi is becoming paranoid, sacking and disappearing his Foreign Minister, even on the interweb. He is now a non-person, his history erased in Orwellian fashion.

What a lot of people don’t know is that China’s real estate market is rigged. A large number of properties are vacant and off the market. That keeps supply low, demand (and prices) high and the building sector in business.
Should all those empty houses and units be put up for sale, the market would have a MASSIVE crash…

How good were the Jabs? Watching the senate hearing with Pfizer and Moderna employees I wondered why the softball questions.
    Here are easily calulated stats.

    Phase 1 pre vacc 27/1/2020 to 22/2/2021 Days: 392 cases: 28755 Deaths:909 cases/day : 73 Deaths/day: 2.3
    Phase 2 Vacc to 80% 23/2/21 to 6/11/2021 Days: 257 cases: 150173 Deaths:896 Cases/day: 584 Deaths/Day: 3.4
    Phase 3 Post 7/11/2021 to 4/8/2023 Days :1003 cases:11597595 Deaths: 19648 Cases/day: 11,562 Deaths/day: 19.5

So compared to no Vax, case rate = 158 X increase, Death rate : 8.5 x increase
No Vax: Cases in Hosp per day: 100; Rollout: 453 Post: 961 i.e. Hospital bed state 9.6 X WORSE
    No Vax Icu/day : 14 ; Roll out: 83 ; Post Vax:48 ICU has increased 3.4 x 2346 ICU beds in Oz: peak 424 which is 18%
No Vax Vented: 5 ; Roll out: 42 ; Post Vax: 2.6 Vent has HALVED.

There was clearly a herd of elephants in the room. It would be risible except for the Billions of dollars wasted and the millions of person years wasted “Waiting” for the “Herd immunity via Jab solution” that was promised but not delivered.

      “Bring Them All To Justice”

      “Yes, that’s a strong headline.

But this is not really about the recent virus; it goes back a very long time. Scientific fraud — not accident, not error, intentional misrepresentation — has been all over medicine and specifically pharmaceutical trials for decades.

Take a look at the BMJ which has taken a stand on this. What prompted this was Study 329, in which Paxil was allegedly well-tolerated and effective in adolescents. The FDA claimed it was a “failed trial” (wait, wasn’t it claimed by the study authors to be both safe and effective?) and later it was discovered that the paper was not written by the claimed authors and serious adverse events, including suicidal ideation and actualized self-harm were found. The DOJ fined GSK, settling criminal proceedings with a record $3 billion fine.

However, nobody went to prison, the false “authors” were never prosecuted, the ghostwriter wasn’t prosecuted either and the adolescents who were harmed as a result were still screwed.”

Just a guess but did the hearings sound like they wanted to be able to say they had looked into the issue and found nothing?

That happens often when more than anything else the questioner does not want embarrassing information to come out.

        Unsafe and defective. Deliberately. Knowingly.

        But wait:

Patients left BLIND after using Syfovre, an FDA-approved drug for vision loss

In an ironic twist, a drug called Syfovre, which was approved as the “first breakthrough treatment for a leading cause of blindness,” has left several patients without vision. This has raised legitimate concerns over the drug’s safety profile.
Last February, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted approval for Syfovre, a pegcetacoplan injection.

Syfovre can allegedly treat geographic atrophy, an advanced form of dry age-related macular degeneration (dry AMD) that leads to blindness.

Syfovre was initially hailed as a breakthrough in protecting against geographic atrophy, a previously untreatable condition affecting at least one in 100 Americans older than 50. (Related: FDA announces voluntary recall of contaminated eye drops that could blind people.)

In a statement, Dr. Eleonora Lad, lead investigator for the OAKS study, which was sponsored by Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., said the approval of Syfovre is “the most important event in retinal ophthalmology in more than a decade.” Apellis manufactures Syfovre.

But the excitement quickly changed to concern when cases of severe eye inflammation and vision loss emerged following Syfovre’s launch.

Man Bitten by Stray Cat Contracts Infection Unknown to Science

In the United Kingdom, a 48-year-old who was bit by a stray feline ended up contracting a species of bacterium that scientists have never seen before.

His immune response to the foreign microorganism was a doozy. Just eight hours after receiving multiple bites, the man’s hands had swollen to such a great extent that he took himself to the emergency department.

A day later, he was back at the hospital. His pinky and middle fingers on his left hand were painfully enlarged and both his forearms were red and swollen.

Doctors had to surgically remove the damaged tissue around his wounds. He was also given three different antibiotics intravenously and was sent home with oral antibiotics.

Back at the hospital, however, doctors were busy trying to figure out what had happened. When they analyzed the microorganisms present in samples from his wounds, they found an unrecognizable Streptococcus-like organism.

But when researchers sequenced part of this bacterium’s genome, it did not match any strains on record. This was a new germ that scientists had never formally documented.

As it turns out, the bacterium belongs to another genus of gram-positive bacteria called Globicatella.

Full genome sequencing of the bacterium suggests that it differs from other related strains, like G. sulfidfaciens, by around 20 percent, indicating a “distinct and previously undescribed species”.

With Covid Finally Under Control, Pfizer Loses $88 Billion In Market Share In 12 Months

The pharmaceutical giant had an exceptional 2022, with a record-breaking $100 billion in sales driven by their Covid vaccine and drugs, according to its Q2 2023 earnings report.

However, their success has not continued into 2023 as demand for Covid related products decreases along with serious cases of the virus. The company’s efforts in alleviating pandemic symptoms have resulted in it becoming a victim of its own success.

Currently, the company’s value stands at less than half what it was just two years ago, with shares valued at approximately $35, according to dailymail.co.uk this Sunday, August 6.

Hopefully infections stay rare as Globicatella cause endocarditis and meningitis. …and I have a very bitey cat on my lap who often draws blood!

Coalition pursuing transition from coal to nuclear
    33 minutes ago
The Coalition is pursuing a transition from coal to nuclear as part of its 2025 energy policy. It is hoped the move will help secure long-term baseload power, reduce emissions and lower electricity bills.

Policy being floated is to build SMRs near coal current mines.
Well it ticks a lot of boxes doesn’t it? Re-use current transmission lines. Reliable generation (capacity factor over 90% according to ANSTO). Possibly some translation of support supply chain from coal over to nuclear. The Greens have fewer reasons to reject it. We’ve got the uranium in the ground.
Previous commentary here has said all the uranium from current mines is being sold to foreign customers under contract, implying new mines will be needed. Also unclear whether Australia has onshore fuel production ability for a commercial scale, but it might not be a bad idea to invest in that too.
As Dutton said in a speech 2 months ago, “our energy security is entwined with our national security.”

Absolutely! There is no choice between them, they are all tarred with the same brush. You know a politician is lying because he is speaking.

The problems in Niger involving France & America and Russia were expressed in one sentence when a new Govt minister said they wanted to keep the money from mining uranium in the country by kicking the French out. Their 2200tons is 5% of world production, more than China, less than Russia, and half Australia’s. If the world goes nuclear instead of solar, it will be in great demand.

Electric Vehicle Company Heavily Promoted by Biden Admin Goes Bankrupt

Proterra, an electric bus manufacturing company promoted by the Biden administration, had everything it needed to succeed – and failed anyway.

Proterra cited “various market and macroeconomic headwinds” in a Chapter 11 filing on Monday, which came after the California-based firm cut hundreds of jobs earlier this year and restructured hundreds of millions of dollars in outstanding debt.

Proterra stood to rake in millions from Biden’s infrastructure and green energy initiatives, the former of which included at least $5 billion in spending on electric buses alone. Biden’s flagship climate bill, the Inflation Reduction Act, also includes spending to help cities convert from diesel buses to electric buses, a major incentive for companies like Proterra.

JoAnn Covington, Proterra’s chief legal officer, acknowledged last year that tax credits and federal grants under Biden’s bills were a major incentive for the company. Grants to purchase electric buses and to create electric vehicle charging infrastructure would ”open up opportunities to accelerate adoption of battery-electric and zero-emissions vehicles to all the other commercial segments on the cusp of being electrified,” Covington said.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm held non-public shares of proterra, which she sold in mid 2021 to an undisclosed buyer, pocketing over a $1 million profit in the process. She pledged to disclose the buyer, but never did. Proterra’s stock only crashed from there, and Granholm’s 240,000 shares would be worth roughly $60,000 total as of writing, had she still held them.

London: Hundreds protest against climate mandates

Hundreds of Londoners Saturday gathered in Trafalgar Square to protest climate restrictions for drivers which are slated to expand this month.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has instituted Ultra-Low Emission Zones (ULEZ), areas in London only accessible to low-emission vehicles. Cars that do not meet the city’s environmental standards are charged £12.50 ($16.00) for entering the ULEZ. Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras positioned around the zones read license plates and check them against the vehicles’ make and model in real time. If a vehicle does not meet the environmental threshold, the fine is levied against the car owner. Failure to pay can lead to fines as high as £258 ($331).

Nearly half of London’s residents — over four million people — now live in ULEZs, which cover the North and South Circular Roads. By the end of this month, the ULEZ will expand to encompass all London boroughs. Over 300 ULEZ cameras have been installed so far, and Mayor Khan plans to install 2,750 more around outer London.

On Saturday, drivers demanded Khan’s resignation as they demonstrated in the wet weather, holding signs reading “Stop the toxic air lie” and “Fcuk Khan, get Khan out”. One protester wearing a Guy Fawkes mask held a sign which read “ULEZ will bet stopped by your actions, not your opinions” and one wrote a slogan on his jeep: “Scrap Khan, not our cars. No to ULEZ.”

Londoners have not been responding well to the climate mandates. At least 31 incidents of vandalism of ULEZ cameras have been reported in proposed expansion zones since March 21st, and at least 12 in current zones.

“This is our country and we’re taking it back,” said one man last month who posted a video showing dozens of cameras he had removed.

McCartney called the penalties “an unjust tax” and predicted Khan “will pay the price at the ballot box.”

Indeed, politicians in the UK’s Left-wing Labour Party want to “take another look” at the ULEZ mandate, which they blame for a recent election loss for the party.

Labour candidates narrowly lost to Right-leaning Tory Party members in two special elections last month despite expectations of a decisive Labour victory. Uxbridge and South Ruislip, where the elections were held, are boroughs in Outer London where car dependency is high.

Climate alarmism deemed ‘real mental disorder’: Wall Street Journal

The author of a column published in The Wall Street Journal this week makes it very clear how she feels about people who are scared to death that SUVs and cattle flatulence are driving “climate change” and are destroying the planet.

In a searing column on Monday, Allysia Finley said that panicked reporting and statements from government officials regarding this summer’s heat wave are “fueling mental derangements” and driving some people over the edge.

“The media wants you to know it’s hot outside. ‘Heat health emergency: Nearly half the US at risk,’ CNN proclaimed last week as temperatures climbed above 90 degrees in much of the country,” Finley begins. “If heat waves were as deadly as the press proclaims, Homo sapiens couldn’t have survived thousands of years without air conditioning. Yet here we are. Humans have shown remarkable resilience and adaptation—at least until modern times, when half of society lost its cool over climate change.”

A recent Bloomberg headline warns, “Extreme Temperatures Are Hurting Our Mental Health,” attributing every social problem to climate change. However, it is the alarmist stories about bad weather, rather than the warm summer air itself, that may be fueling mental stress and concerns worthy of the DSM-5, she added.

Australia: Mum refuses to get rid of her daughter’s head lice because she’s vegan

She explains: “My seven-year-old daughter is best friends with the girl next door, whose family are vegan. That’s fine, we respect their choice … my problem is that recently this otherwise delightful child was at our house and scratching furiously, and I discovered she was crawling with head lice.”

“She told me she was in the practice of combing the lice and nits into the garden where they had the best chance of survival,” the poster continued, “and my jaw hit the floor.”

She then asked the advice columnist what she should do now. “I don’t want to separate the kids but there’s no way ‘combing them into the garden’ is going to work (industrial-grade pesticide barely works) and I don’t want my daughter covered in vermin.”

The agony aunt told the poster what she really thought – that the other mum was a “sanctimonious twit”.

we never got hair lice in the 70s. If someone did they were sent home, all inspected, and the kid didnt return to school for a while. These days, they’re basically a given, the kids don’t even scratch, they just live with them. Revolting.

Wednesday funny: Peruvian Villagers Claim They Were Attacked By 7-Foot Tall Aliens

Peruvian district claimed that 7-foot tall aliens have been attacking their community every night since July 11.

The reports from the Alto Nanay district north-east of Lima, Peru, revolve around a least one 7-foot tall armored green alien that apparently looks like the Green Goblin from the “Spider-Man” series, according to the Daily Mail. The creatures are apparently hyper-violent, and have been called Los Pelacaras, “The Face Peelers,” by locals.

Locals say the creatures have large heads, yellowish eyes, and appear to be immune to their hunting weapons.

        ALIENS!!
Or maybe just too many magic mushrooms. 😁
Mind you, Peru is a hub for UFO sightings…

    FRIGHTENING: Leprosy Following COVID-19 Vaccination

A study conducted to examine the anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination status of individuals who were diagnosed with leprosy revealed “a very high rate of anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination among individuals attending the Leprosy Clinic. 49 individuals (98%) were vaccinated.”

The authors from the United Kingdom conducted a retrospective cohort study to examine the anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination status of individuals who were diagnosed with leprosy and attended in 2021 the Leprosy Clinic at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, London, UK, a national referral center in the UK for tropical and infectious diseases. They also examined whether any of these individuals had developed leprosy or experienced a new leprosy reaction within the 12 weeks following the anri-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. They presented two cases who met the criteria for a new leprosy adverse events associated with BNT162b2 anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.

Most people can be exposed to leprosy without risk, HOWEVER that relative immunity is due to a healthy immune system…

Maybe it’s time to boxcar the vaxxed to those nice gubermint quarantine facilities. 😄
Oh the irony of treating the unvaxxed like lepers for 3 years.

Well then….it looks as though the non genetically modified group and genetically modified group, broadly can help each other out, and should help each other out …whilst this potpourri of endless medical data is somehow unwound….cheers and bottoms up…and good luck!!..i sense we will need it.\\\

I found that I had a long term low level ‘flu’ following the vax’s. I treated that by taking Echinacea (immune system booster) in concentrated syrup form several times to tamp it down. I still have physical elements that could have come from the vax. Came across a weird video where many people were commenting that they had stress and vertigo so am wondering whether whether there are widespread common symptoms that have not got in the radar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWy9KbO9PnM

High blood pressure – some reports/studies link an increased risk after the vaccine – can produce those latter 2 symptoms.

Of incredible interest to me more recently is the phenomena of ‘IGG4 antibody class switching’ and the fact that whilst i was driving home i was listening to a radio program about long covid….here in Australia we have 3cr community radio…thank goodness for that.

A large industry in Tasmania wanted to do “the right thing” and switch from using coal-powered boilers to electricity. Problem is, Hydro Tasmania can’t supply the 50MW required – they don’t have sufficient energy.
