It’s a psychoneurotic hate-fest — as if The Trump is still Krypton

There’s a kind of devotional anti-religious fervour to it. As if his name has a supernatural power.

Who knew the letters t.r.u.m.p can destroy civilizations just by being inscribed onto highways and chairs?

At what point do normal people balk?

A Tsunami of hate

John Hinderaker, Powerline

There is Democrat-sponsored legislation pending that would prevent any public building or artifact, even a “bench” from being named after the 45th president of the United States. There is a farcical witch-trial to impeach the same villain even though he has left office and is now a private citizen. There is even Democrat talk of stripping Trump of his pension, despite the fact that he gave his entire $1.6 million salary as president to the American people – something no president before him has done. If ever there was a public lynching, short of stringing the victim from the nearest tree – and there are no lack of leftwing calls for that – the Democrats’ unrelentingly vindictive assault on the defeated Donald Trump down to the last petty detail is it.

But what is in effect a total war is not merely a war to cancel Donald Trump. If it were, it would be reprehensible enough, but not a threat to the nation itself. This demonic hate directed by the Democrat Party towards Trump is also hate for the 75 million Americans who voted for him. … [they] are treated as social pariahs, have their careers destroyed and (shades of the Kremlin) are regarded as mentally unfit and in need of deprogramming.

In the same vein an Op-Ed in  The Washington Post suggested that “President Donald Trump “must not have a presidential library. And Congress “should move quickly” to make sure he never will. (Because Congress doesn’t have more pressing problems to solve, right? )

Joel Pollak at Brietbart notes the irony:

[Phillip Kennicott] argued that Trump cannot be trusted to handle documents relating to his presidency, because he “mixed public and private interests.” He adds that Trump must be punished because he allegedly “incited an insurrection” on January 6.

Apparently Trump the billionaire-property-developer couldn’t build a library anyway:

As Anthony Clark, author of “The Last Campaign: How Presidents Rewrite History, Run for Posterity & Enshrine Their Legacies,” wrote recently in Politico, it is unlikely that Trump has the focus, administrative savvy and financial resources to execute a presidential center: “Presidential libraries are complicated. And if you understand how they work — and how Trump himself works — it’s nearly impossible to imagine him actually pulling it off,” Clark writes.

Some people found it nearly impossible to imagine him winning the Presidency.

The Democrats don’t just hate Donald Trump, they hate America:

Follow the logic. If Trump is Hitler and half of America voted for him, that says a lot about the nation, right? The collectivist propaganda is so one sided that those who can’t see through it, by definition, end up living it.

As Hindraker notes, the first thing Biden did was declare war on “America’s systemic racism.”  Unify my foot. To talk in terms of race, divides and polarizes the nation. The real racists, of course, are those that make laws or gifts based on skin color rather than justice and need. Good people can look beyond the surface — seeing the person and not the tribe.

Hate is not much of a basis to run a nation.

If they did not have hate with which to arouse their followers, Democrats would fully have to define their positions on issues,
and promote them on the benefits provided and the cost-effectiveness of such provision. They might also have to answer to
the track record of their previous public projects, and current administrative successes.
Gosh, hate is so much easier.

WATCH: China expert claims Biden giving communist regime ‘everything that they want’

Fox News anchor Maria Batiromo hosted a panel discussion on Sunday featuring Gatestone Institute Senior Fellow Gordon Chang and Atlas Organization founder Jonathan Wald to discuss Biden’s foreign policy towards China.

“Biden right now, you know, the Chinese are testing him, but they don’t really need to lift a finger to do this because he’s giving them everything that they want,” Chang said, pointing to Biden’s rejoining of the Paris Climate Accord and the World Health Organization. “The list goes on and on.”

Batiromo turned the discussion towards Wald, asking about China’s authoritarian policies.

“They think that they’re gonna beat us in this new cold war, whatever we want to call it,” Wald said. “They believe that Covid-19 has put them in an advantageous position, they’ve said for a long time that they’re gonna turn crisis into an opportunity, it has strengthened their position in the world economy, they’ve done that in a sense.”

Wald pointed out that China is the only major economy which grew in 2020 and that the country has now passed the US as the leading destination for foreign direct investment (FDI).

The discussion later turned to the Chinese military, with Batiromo reading out a warning delivered from the Global Times, which she described as the “mouthpiece of Xi Jinping.”

“Taiwan and the US should be sent a message, do not misjudge or underestimate the Chinese mainland’s determination and will to defend its territorial integrity and to severely punish the reckless acts of Taiwan independence forces.”

“Well first of all, the Chinese are preparing for war,” Chang said, further arguing that these actions aren’t merely bluffing on the part of the Chinese government.

Chang further claimed that China is using gene editing to create new diseases which are affected by “ethnogenetics,” allowing Chinese people would be largely unaffected while it would devastate western societies. He did not discuss what evidence he has for this claim, or what evidence there is that it would be scientifically feasible.

Unpopular, Tyrannical Lockdown Governor Who’s Destroying MI Economy Joins CNN’s Propaganda Campaign To Label Dissenters Of Democrat Party’s Radical Agenda, “Domestic Terrorists” [VIDEO]

With a straight face, Michigan’s unhinged Democrat governor, whose tyrannical and unconstitutional lockdowns have devasted the lives of Michigan residents, responded by blaming President Trump for the protesters who were losing their jobs and businesses because of her irrational decisions. “It was encouraged by the former White House…the misinformation…the encouragement…the normalizing of this kind of domestic terrorism.” Hmmm…good to know that protests covered by our First Amendment are considered “domestic terrorism,” by the left.

Camerota continued to misrepresent Trump supporters who have protested across America over a number of issues, most of which are related to unconstitutional lockdown orders by overreaching Democrat governors. Brushing tens of thousands of Americans with a broad brush, Camerota assured her small audience that just because “President Trump is gone,” it doesn’t mean “the extremists” have disappeared.

Hypocrisy Alert: Kamala Harris Supported Bail Fund, Twice Paid For Release Of Man Just Charged For Everything The Left Is After Trump About

After the events at the Capitol, conservatives have spent the better part of the last several weeks condemning violence and those who perpetrated it. Even when he had the ability to do so, President Trump took no action to pay for the bail of, nor pardon, any of the offenders associated with that attack.

Meanwhile, Democrats continue to pal around with terrorist organizations and those people within them that execute violent actions across the Country. The Minnesota Freedom Fund, which was started to help pay for the release of those who were arrested in the violent riots in Minnesota last year, was promoted and supported by now-Vice President Harris. At the time of the establishment of the fund, many conservatives raised the issue with the release of violent criminals, an action that Harris was completely unapologetic for at any time. She even went as far as to suggest that the violence should continue as a means of reaching a favorable outcome to their policy goals.

Today it was revealed that the Harris-supported bail fund paid for the release of Thomas Moseley, a man arrested in August for his actions in a violent riot that resulted in property damage charges and the possession of a handgun.

Pelosi and AOC May Set up a ‘House Pro-America Activities Committee’ to Root Out ‘The Enemy Within’

There is now open-air talk of “deprograming” Donald Trump supporters and erasing Donald Trump from history.

      It’s happening in real-time.

These Secular Taliban have destroyed symbols of our country’s history by ripping down statues as if they were ISIS at Palmyra and the Taliban at Bamiyan.

They’ve rewritten the American founding using the historically fanciful and unscholarly “1619 Project.”

The same bureaucratic actors and media types who spent the last five years sabotaging Trump’s presidency and interpreting his every move through a malevolent filter now want to deny Donald Trump the routine formality of helping him with his presidential library.

Democrat media allies at NPR call Trump “close to Hitler” and his supporters in need of “reeducation camps.”

The disgraced Lincoln Project claims House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy is a “traitor” to his country for supporting President Trump’s completely legal effort to challenge the 2020 election results by linking him to the QAnon quacks attack at the Capitol Building.

It’s an allegation that is fact-free.

The Lincoln Project is helping to install a new “McCarthyism.”

Now AOC and her fellow travelers want to root out people from the public square who believe in the American Dream. Our western traditions, the nation’s founding, history, free speech, the rights of the individual versus the collective, private property, freedom of movement, privacy, life, and the way to defend it with the Second Amendment, are all under their watchful surveillance.

These are evidence of rapacious “white supremacism.”

The Left is in charge and they said so.

‘Groundhog Day’ meets ‘1984’: Democrats continue perpetual loop of Trump hate

Trump prepares his defense as the ‘Two-minutes Hate’ routine rolls on

Former President Donald Trump will present his impeachment defense on Feb. 2, which also happens to be Groundhog Day.

As in the 1993 movie starring Bill Murray, Democrats are locked in a time warp. Instead of repeatedly reliving a day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, however, they’re in Washington, D.C., still trying to overturn the 2016 presidential election.
This is something they’ve been doing every day since January 2017, and even before, if you count the FBI’s treachery in 2016 under President Obama.

Anyway, as historians will eventually scribble, Democrats finally managed to count three million votes in Punxsutawney alone to win Pennsylvania in the wee hours of Nov. 4, 2020, securing the White House for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Or maybe it was four million. I lose track.

Victorious Democrats now want to punish anyone who suggests the election was not squeaky clean. They mock anyone who inconveniently points out that affidavit-supported reports of vote fraud never got serious consideration.

But just getting rid of Mr. Trump by every means necessary, isn’t enough. The man must be utterly destroyed, along with those who backed him. Public Broadcasting Service’s former chief counsel, Michael Beller, was caught on tape by Project Veritas musing about sending conservatives’ children to “reeducation camps.” California Democratic National Committee member David Atkins tweeted, “how [do] you deprogram 75 million people? Where do you start? Fox? Facebook? We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan.”

Hate is easy. The left are the scum of humanity. If there is a problem they will make it worse; if there is not a problem they will invent one (ie alarmism) and then make it worse. They thrive on chaos and discord because they present themselves as the solution and therefore deserving of power. They are completely without principle: everything they accused Trump of doing they were doing. Nothing is beneath them because their only purpose is power and they cloak that in virtue and sickening morality. Every issue they advocate for is false, every group they espouse they will use or ignore as suits their quest for power.

However the real problem are the conservatives who either stupidly think these people can be reasoned with and there are still rules and/or who take the crocodile approach of capitulation hoping the left will eat them last. Lastly, as the Trump election showed, despite fraud which cost him there were still a large number of people/useful idiots who voted for the zombie biden. How do you deal with the useful idiot effect?

Trump isn’t the first president to donate his entire presidential salary, but he is the first in over half a century.

JFK gave his entire Presidential salary and his entire Congressional salary to charity.

Herbert Hoover split his Presidential salary between a number of charities and put the rest toward his staff’s salaries.

Forgot to mention, Trump didn’t give his salary to charity. He divided it between 4 different government departments each quarter – a total of 16 different departments.

Since Joe, “not voting for me? ‘then you ain’t black'” Biden made it crystal clear that race is the most important citizen’s quality.
I suppose Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream..that my children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character” speech is now justification for him to be de-platformed and all his memorials to be pulled down and destroyed.

The more important differences are the court of disputed returns and the fact that we run bye elections. Rerun elections that have disputed returns. You can’t do that in an American presidential election because the timeframes are fixed. Here in our system (if we had a president) we could instate Biden as a caretaker then rerun disputed electorates as bye elections and change the “President” if the balance swung another way.

The American system can’t really do that constitutionally. Even if the vote was proven to be for Trump Biden still stays president. How much authority he would command with the public is debatable.

We can only hope that the Demolishocrats lose the house in ’22.

I think this is why the courts made excuses not to hear the evidence. The correct relief is to rerun the elections but that would have created a constitutional crisis. They avoided creating the constitutional crisis by refusing to hear the evidence. The SCOTUS said as much. Now that Biden is in place the courts are in a better place to hear evidence but I imagine to get a case before them you would need to be prosecuting a person for committing the crime of interfering with an election, since the “Harm” of putting the wrong guy in power is now moot.

I hope they do prosecute those who cheated – every one of them.

They also probably need to go after Dominion, if there is even one method of vote manipation open then it needs to be banned.

Me, I want a statement from the AEC about our optical readers and collation systems and what systems we have in place to prevent manipulation. I might write to them.

We do have much more secure elections, MareeS but there have been comprehensive studies and books and reams of articles written in the past about Labor’s stealing of elections….especially by Dr Amy McGrath and investigative reporter Bob Bottoms.

The fact that almost all polling and almost all journalists are owned by Greens/Labor in recent years …and the fact that the Electoral Commission…like everything else is captured by the Left in the Long March…and programmed to say ‘Any voting anomalies are not enough to have changed the vote’ or its equivalent in response to whatever apparent fraud is alleged…has been enough for the Left to be able to shut down any allegations and to convince people with evidence that they have no chance of having it seriously investigated.

A Labor/Communist’s whistleblowing in the 80s detailed exactly how Labor stole an election…I think it was the 1987 election…and core to their strategy….as well as many willing and unscrupulous footsoldiers…was to have complete access to the current electoral roll…ie an inside job.

I was just thinking this morning how the MSM routinely gets away with what would be called illegal ‘hate speech’ if it were directed towards an individual or organization that the Left supports. Hate is hate, no matter how it is directed. The Left relies on pejorative words to try to manipulate people or suppress ideas they disagree with. Unless the public recognizes the behavior for what it is, it is the end of Democracy as we have known it. Gone are the days when people agreed with the sentiment of Voltaire, “I may not support what you say, but I will defend with my life your right to say it.” [Yes, I realize that Voltaire may not have actually said that.]

REVEALED: Democrat operatives including Lincoln Project spread disinformation to suppress the conservative vote

Project Lincoln, the anti-Trump group of Democratic operatives disguised as disaffected GOP members, told their followers “#DontVote for #RINOs” like Republican incumbent Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in the Georgia runoffs on Jan. 5.

Many on the political right questioned the validity of their arguments. The federal government alleges that Mackey’s memes deprived American citizens of their right to vote. If this case proceeds, then why hasn’t the FBI arrested the numerous other left-wing social media figures who are just as guilty of voter suppression?

Twitter-verified comedian Kristina Wong’s political sketch from the same election year remains online and posted to Twitter with over 680,000 views.

“Will @TheJusticeDept prosecute the Lincoln Project for their paid voter suppression disinformation campaign in the Georgia special election?” questioned One America News Network’s Jack Posobiec, adding that even Facebook took the advertisement down after the propaganda was sent to hundreds of thousands of potential voters.

BLM & Antifa Chant “Choke and Die” to Cops During Invasion And Occupation of Hotel Using Hatchets and Knives

While the leftist media continues the blackout on reporting violence and destruction from BLM and Antifa, the anarchist movement continues.

Seven people were in custody last night after homeless activists, some reportedly armed with hatchets and knives, “forcibly” occupied the lobby and 17 rooms at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia, Wash, according to officials.

Fox News is reporting the activists were with a group calling itself Oly Housing Now. They occupied the hotel in an apparent takeover attempt to demand pandemic housing.

Democrats want Americans to be unaware that anti-American forces are doing everything they can to destroy our laws and way of life. The media is doing a great job being their lapdog.

Only beneficiaries of the left-wing riots and Capitol attacks are America’s enemies

Part of any adversary’s quiver is the use of a false flag. A “false flag” plan is an operation conducted primarily by one nation-state, masquerading as another nation-state or group to bring about the desired result where they are not implicated.

The next level would be when individuals are used to create a political or diplomatic incident. Nero blamed Christians for the fires that destroyed Rome in 64 AD and then used those fires to justify the persecution of the Christians afterward. The most infamous modern false flag operation was concocted by the Nazis when they used communist dupes to burn down the Reichstag. This allowed the Nazis to enact emergency powers paving the way for the Nazi dictatorship.

A more sophisticated false flag operation is when it is used to manipulate public opinion. The Soviets did this through a web of assets and activity during the Reagan years by push/pulling anti-American, anti-nuclear “peace groups” in Europe and the United States.

Was the attack on the U.S. Capitol a false flag operation? My answer is as complicated as the event itself.

The only beneficiaries of the summer riots, the Capitol attacks and the current left-wing violence in the Pacific Northwest are America’s adversaries, both foreign and domestic. We already know about Russian, Chinese, Iranian and North Korean cyber-attacks fomenting division in the United States among our citizens. Just as those on the right were willing to accept the links between Antifa and foreign adversaries, those on the left must be willing to take whatever links are found with the extremists who broke into the hallowed halls of Congress.

Some analysts have argued that some of the tactics used in the U.S. Capitol attack were similar to those used by Russia in the Ukraine and Crimea.

Another suspicious issue is the number of stolen devices and documents that may have classified information, particularly those of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Jeff Merkley, Oregon Democrat. SOFREP reports that their sources in the Pentagon told them that several laptops with classified information were stolen. There have also been questions raised as to whether or not surveillance equipment may have been left behind.

The FBI indicates that the question of foreign involvement is severe enough to provoke an investigation.

It is too early at this juncture to confirm or dismiss the level of foreign involvement in the attack on the U.S. Capitol. It is far too early for the popular media to ignore it. It has been 88 years since the Reichstag Fire, and we are still debating its origins

      Clyde Spencer..

Last night’s total propaganda on 4Corners was an example of that.

Sarah Ferguson was dripping with hate throughout the program which of course censored out all of the facts of the Democrat/Deep State assault on Trump over the last five years..pretending that Trump supporters’ angst and belief that the election was stolen was just out of a vacuum…just because they are terrible people as her words and demeanor made obvious she thinks Trump and supporters are.

‘Such was the level of fear in his final terrifying days in office’,began the hatesick Sarah…the one who did a simpering …mendacious puff interview with Hillary Clinton last year…and has a similar piece of garbage with CCP’s Biden in the can for next week’s 4Corners…as she proceeded to label Trump an ‘unscrupulous demagogue’ and aired a National Geographic reporter’s assessment of the Trump presidency as reminiscent of ‘the 30s and Weimar Germany’,,,with Trump supporters just blindly ‘worshipping [Trump] as an idol.’

The program gave failed Trump appointees who’d been sacked for their lack of nous and assistance to the Hate Media a chance to vent their spleen …eg the Rudd doppelganger Mick Mulvaney[ not just in looks but in treachery and hate] who starred in the propaganda piece…at one point whining, ‘I had no idea we were so close to breaking democracy’ re the Jan6 incursion…when he and Sarah Ferguson know that democracy was broken from the moment the Democrats colluded with Russian and British spies and the FBI…to confect a dossier of lies …total fabrication…to try to sink the Trump campaign and destroy the lives of innocent Americans just as collateral damage in the process…and then when Trump won despite their lawbreaking….declared …minutes into the Trump Presidency …that their impeachment plan for him was underway.

Ferguson and her fellow-travellers pretend not to know that the impeachment declaration of intent was followed by a four years long 24/7 unprecedented blitzkrieg of lies and propaganda vs Trump by the Democrats’ bought and paid-for MSM and the rogue Deep State upper echelons and Big Tech…culminating in Big Tech’s killer blow to finish Trump off they thought… and massive gift to CCP’s candidate Biden…with their shutdown of all information on Biden Inc…complemented by [or in collusion with] the FBI’s massive lie that the Hunter Biden laptop and emails they’d been holding for more than a year were likely just Russian election interference.

Democracy was broken before Trump announced his candidacy …but the destruction was escalated because the Democrats would have known Trump …with no other pressing motivation for running…would drain the swamp as promised and reveal the full extent of their kleptomania and their betrayal of America to help America’s and the world’s most threatening adversaries.

That the ABC and the ridiculous Sarah Ferguson pretend not to know about all of this , in order to be able to censor it out and flog their propaganda version of the last five years to the uninformed amongst the Australian people …should be a warning to Australians to disregard all that purports to be news that emanates from the Left’s ABC and their Marxist coven of ‘jobs-for-life’, massively-paid plutocrats and propagandists posing as journalists.

The only thing that could stop this Marxist juggernaut is for these emperors to be stripped of their clothes by being asked a few questions relating to incontrovertible facts …their past lies and present assertions revealed as fabrications…on air…again and again…but they own the airwaves even though we are forced to pay for it.

Regular on-air questions to the propagandists and no dodging allowed with the answers, is the only possible way of alerting the gullible to who the real insurgents and treasonous demagogues are and what their depraved greed for money and power has in store for what’s left of the democratic world.

At least the military did the right thing in response to an alleged fraudulent election in one other country:
Aung San Suu Kyi, Ruling Party Leaders Arrested as Myanmar Military Imposes 1-Year State of Emergency

It really is time for the Americans to call upon the US military to do likewise in their situation. That is if they really care about fair and honest elections and the Constitution itself, which many clearly don’t and would prefer to use the paper the Constitution is written on for toilet paper.

Interesting comments just made by Vox Day on the same matter:

“It’s informative to observe that the Burmese military is more conscientious about its duty to the Burmese constitution than the U.S. military is to its supposed duty to the U.S. constitution. At this point, no one around the world can possibly take the whole “land of the free and home of the brave” act seriously any more. Not when China is observably more serious about punishing official corruption and Myanmar is observably more serious about preventing voter fraud.”

“I’ve said for two decades that Italy is less corrupt than the United States, because in the USA, the system isn’t corrupted, it’s the corruption that is the system.”

I think that it is less a matter of the Left being “nuts” than it is those on the Left being gullible people who have been brainwashed by the Leftist-controlled educational system. What they are doing seems perfectly reasonable to them in the context of what they have been led to believe by those who society has entrusted with their minds. It has long been said that “The pen is mightier than the sword.” Yet, while schools universally forbid weapons on campus, they seem to prefer teachers who are themselves destructive of the minds of the children they indoctrinate.

To get back on track, there are two important reforms necessary: 1) More stringent review of the curriculum and hiring standards for primary and secondary educators, and 2) Enforced standards of honesty and completeness for journalists. That is, lies of omission should be treated equally with lies of commission. So-called Fact Checkers should be held responsible for ignoring things that aren’t said and change the context. US journalists have picked up bad habits from journalists on the other side of the ‘pond.’

but the best Pontius Pilate was Fred Johanson in Jesus Christ Superstar (2000) (Andrew Lloyd Webber’s)

A bold and fresh adaptation of the classic Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice rock opera, this version released in 2000 re-orchestrates and reinterprets the 1970s version, itself a creative retelling of a celebrated, timeless tale.

Let me help you with liberal as you seem to have misunderstood it.

Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed and equality before the law. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support free markets, free trade, limited government, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), capitalism, democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion. Yellow is the political colour most commonly associated with liberalism.

          312

          • #
            TdeF

There is no point quoting the 1950s defintion of liberalism. It now means something quite different.

That’s the old meaning as used by Sir Robert Menzies.

In this 21st century the word has been stolen, inverted, twisted around by rich politicians such as Malcolm Turnbull to be the same as the other stolen word, twisted word, Progressive. So Malcolm claims to be the heir to Menzies and to the Liberal party. Turnbull’s Liberals(tm)

But his liberal (small l) now means regressive, splitting people into tribes by race and religion and anti democratic,a new world order, a reset run by ultra rich elites who believe they are better than everyone else. And Black Lives Matter more than anyone else’s lives and heroes are now enemies of society. Racism and fascism presented as anti racism and anti fascism. History rewritten as a dark past of white supremacy and enslavement. And there is no racism or intolerance in India, Japan, Africa, Syria, Turkey, Egypt or China, to name a few. There is only white supremacy.

So the old Liberals and Republicans now find themselves representing the factory workers while the new progressives attack democracy, history, fair elections, one person one vote, even equality under the law. Progressives even see 200 genders in the name of unity, many races with different rights and requiring separate recognition, appeasement and atonement and laws. In Australia we now have First Nation peoples, which is silly and African people who require appeasement. Some would even have that Australians have to apologise for slavery and to change the constitution to include race distinctions, in the name of new Liberalism.

So taking the mantle of old Liberalism and freedoms of speech and the press and religion and a raceless society is absurd. This is the country which jailed a senior Catholic Cardinal for a crime he could not possibly have committed and with no evidence at all. Everything in the media is that Western Democracy has failed and needs to be overthrown. In the name of Liberalism. It’s fake news.

New liberalism by progressives and anti FA and BLM are the violent enemies of Western society. So who on this planet has the ideal society? China?

            193

Correct? This is a discussion of semantics not a contest.

I would put his middle on the left. And he is missing the reactionary entirely as in absolute monarchies and Tsarist Russia, Saudi Arabia and military dictatorships like 75% of the world’s countries. Such as Myanmar, pretend democracies. And socialist is what totalitarians call themselves as with East Germany.

And everyone seems to be missing the huge centre of Conservatism as if there are only extremists in society when the vast majority are not, at least in Western society. I would not know how to categorize rural Pakistan, Nigeria, Turkey. In Western society today if you are a conservative, you are labelled Alt Right, whatever that means.

There remains an odd building in Melbourne and I would laugh every time I saw it, the Anarchist’s Society, St. Georges Road, Northcote. Anarchists cannot form a society with rules. However destruction and violence for its own sake is a tactic of the extreme left with the idea that a better world will come from destroying the status quo. Even Lenin denied anarchy as a viable political movement or party.

Both extreme left = total dictatorship like North Korea, USSR, Nazi Germany, and extreme right = anarchy (everyone for themselves with no co-operation) are doomed to fail. Hence we opt for systems that balance in the Centre. A degree of co-operation and surrender of individual freedom to a regulating State but also acceptance of certain individual ‘rights’ and freedoms that the State must not impinge on. Back in the 1950’s the West tended Centre-right, now its Centre-left as the State’s power and authority has grown.
Of course there is often crazy mislabelling and false language. Also you can hold both hard left and hard right positions on different issues.
Those that want state control of utilities (left) may also support freedom to be a prostitute (right). Those that support no capital taxes (right) may support banning of voluntary suicide (left). Most political dialogue is confused and mislabelled.

Bare-Knuckle Brawl Over GameStop Pits America’s Elites Vs. ‘Deplorables’

    I & I Editorial Board
    February 1, 2021

Only someone living under a rock hasn’t heard about the GameStop stock market shorting scandal. While the mechanics of the stock market battle are interesting, they’re nothing new. What’s new is this: The battle this time is being waged by Deplorable America vs. Elite America. And Elite America isn’t at all happy about it.

What’s different about the short squeeze for GameStop stock is that it’s not big institution vs. big institution, but a bunch of no-name market guerrillas operating on a Reddit sub-feed called WallStreetBets that caused havoc among funds that had taken hefty, and very risky, short positions in the slumping GameStop. Most prominent among them was Melvin Capital.

Do the math, and that means Melvin lost close to 58% of its capital in one brutal, ruinous month of trading. All because an online group got tired of seeing its own stock go down due to short-selling, and decided as a group to buy the stock instead. As GameStop share prices rose, the short-sellers got hammered, and their losses were immense.

Or, as Reason put it, “This was a meme-managed, crowdsourced effort to exploit a quirk in the financial system, to test its limits, and, in a way, to break the game.”

True enough. But you can’t blame social media entirely for this, since big funds mucked with the markets to their own advantage in the 2000 dotcom bubble, the 2008 housing and financial meltdown, and from 2010 until today with program and algorithmic trading systems that often overwhelm small investors. And that game goes on.

Perhaps more significantly, the stock market populism risks a huge overreaction from elite, leftist, insider Washington, D.C., which fears a steep market downturn could risk its plans for perpetual rule.

That’s why much of official Washington wants the Securities and Exchange Commission to “do something,” as the saying goes. Never a good sign.

We suspect what really terrifies the leftist Democrats who now rule D.C. isn’t short selling at all. It’s the idea that their BFFs on Wall Street got a glimpse of the Biden administration’s anti-growth tax, and spending and regulatory policies, and are having second thoughts. If so, the stock market could be in for a very bumpy ride, and the SEC won’t be able to a damned thing about it.

    Biden’s blunders, chapter one

Extending New START agreement with Russia and revoking Trump executive order directed at China yield little in return

We haven’t even reached the two-week mark in Joe Biden’s presidency but his serious mistakes in foreign policy and national security are already piling up.

It’s not too early to detect a pattern in Mr. Biden’s decisions and the glimmerings of a policy that guides him. In his decisions to offer Russia a continuation of the New START agreement, rejoining the 2015 Paris Climate Accord and revoking former President Trump’s executive order preventing Chinese equipment from possibly dominating the U.S. power grid, Mr. Biden has given something and received nothing in return.

Mr. Xi is reportedly seeking a high-level diplomatic meeting with the Biden administration, possibly a summit meeting between Messrs. Biden and Xi. Why wouldn’t Mr. Biden, if he is as serious about climate change as he claims, have delayed rejoining the Paris Accord and sought in that summit a Chinese commitment to stop building the coal-fired generation plants?

We expected Mr. Biden to be soft on China, but his action revoking one of Mr. Trump’s executive orders directed at China and our other adversaries so far takes the cake.

Mr. Biden revoked Mr. Trump’s order that had prohibited foreign nations from supplying electronic equipment for our “bulk power supply”, i.e., the U.S. power grid. Mr. Biden’s revocation literally invites China (and other adversaries) to underbid other suppliers and provide computer systems that can control the power grid. That would give Chinese (or other adversaries’) cyberwarriors the ability to reduce or even shut off our electricity supply. Mr. Biden’s action created a significant threat to our national security and our economy.

Mr. Biden may have a vision of what America’s place in the world should be, but we have no way to know what that is.

From Mr. Biden’s nearly five decades in government, our allies and adversaries think they know him. From his actions to date they have learned that his mind doesn’t make the logical connections between domestic concerns such as the power grid to national security. That is an enormous weakness.

As former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was fond of saying, weakness is provocative. Aggression naturally follows.

From August 2018: Soros: Online Trump Supporters Will Be Silenced By 2020

Billionaire globalist George Soros is planning to eliminate the majority of Trump supporters from the Internet by 2020 … A leaked document outlines plans by Soros to exert his influence, via his immense personal wealth, to pressure Big Tech to censor and purge pro-Trump journalists, citizens and outlets ahead of the 2020 election.

Too late for that. The MSM are in the hands of the left. It can only be turned back when governments come down hard on them. We can start here by defunding the ABC. Until that happens, any talk about turning things around is just that, all talk.

https://bigleaguepolitics.com/insider-account-shows-how-trumps-legal-team-bumbled-legal-challenges-to-voter-fraud/ is very unpleasant reading telling of Giuliani’s love of the grog and this: “there was a pot of hundreds of millions of dollars given by Republican rank-and-file to Republican Bigshots to help reverse-engineer and unscramble whatever had happened on November 3, and not a penny was going to any activity related to doing so.”

      From the document:
“Giuliani .. refusing to argue against voter fraud ..pursuing a strategy based on procedural rules”

In hindsight, that would have been the right approach seeing how the courts would not look at evidence because- “latches” and “standing”.
On the other hand, you could say that the bias of the courts would then have taken the other view.

If you think running on voting fraud evidence was correct, look at the case brought by the State of Texas. It was very well put together and argued, the SCotUS would not look at it – Texas has “No standing”.

I can only see the right fighting strongly back. In doing so they will have to do a lot of disconnecting from the MSM, big business and big tech. They can cut Wokistan adrift. They will have to organise heavily at the state level.

They staged a coup. Then they fortified Washington akin to the Green Zone in Iraq. So they have this huge guilt hanging over their head. They must wish that Trump would be killed and then forgotten. Forgotten with extreme compulsion. Because every day he is breathing he is indeed Kryptonite. And a reminder that their treason may yet be recognised.

These posts are as much a public interest thing, as they are an underground news.

And whatever happens in the US, Australia usually follows about 10 years later. (and that gap seems to be getting less as time goes on).

For me, I got into climate science because of the lies and coverups. I find it amazing and fascinating that people willfully lie cheat and coverup for trivial gain, or just for reasons? So these elections, the media, big tech, FBI, coverups for Biden, Hunter, Hillary, Epstein, it’s all a fascinating rollercoaster for me.

Opinion doesn’t come into it. Fair elections are always only about swings. Not voting swings and voting spikes. There is no such thing as a voter spike in a fair election. So we know what happened. Its not open to doubt. To suggest that there is any doubt in this matter is a violation of all understanding of probability and statistics. You cannot delude yourself that a coup in our most important ally is something we ought not be talking about. Its like suggesting that the Ukrainians ought not have worried about the Soviet takeover in Russia in 1917. You must understand that while you may suffer from some sort of normalcy bias, some of us don’t. And can look at the facts uncoloured by such a mental handicap.

Ian…good point. I’ve always thought that the Earth is suffering from 2 different trends… the Northern Hemisphere is cooling, and the Southern Hemisphere is slightly warming. This is due to the activity of the oceans. If people would only look at a map of the world, they would see that the Southern Hemisphere, which is almost all ocean, has a warming trend due to the increase in ocean temperature and the subsequent release of CO2 into the atmosphere. But of course, the people have been brainwashed by St Greta of Thunberg and her Church of Climatology (a la ABC et al).

    13

    • #
      Nadia bin Du Natan

You may even be right CHRIS. But the problem is we don’t have uncorrupted data from which to make that call. I’ve never been able to find honest data that showed that CO2 had a warming effect on balance. Just when I thought I saw a signal to that effect in the satellite data, I subsequently found out that the satellite data had been tweaked. If extra CO2 released from the hydrocarbons industry mixed up above troposphere level, or even if it were to mix above to where water vapour had tapped out, that would have, and surely does have a cooling effect. Whether it would overmatch warming effects closer to the surface is a matter that cannot be resolved in this highly charged and politicised atmosphere. The global warming standard model is ridiculous. However its reasonable to suggest that it may have a real world analogy in the long arctic summer where the cold air is dry and the sun never really sets. Its also reasonable to think that hot dry wind coming across a desert would be exacerbated in its effects by higher CO2 levels. But the answer to that potential problem is to green the desert. The answer to the earlier non-problem is to forget about it. Actually the answer is always water retention landscapes and building dark rich soil, no matter what position you take on the science.

      10

  • #
    CHRIS

Nadia…you also may be correct. However I am of the opinion that it does not matter how much CO2 is released into the atmosphere… whether by fossil fuels, oceans, or whatever. The atmosphere would need to have at least 10000ppm CO2 before there is any noticeable effect on the climate. And anyway, CO2 is beneficial for the Earth, unlike NH3 or CH4.
