"My class ... are getting harder and harder to impress. But they came out of the show inspired and excited! Ready to try anything!"
Ellie Charlton: Teacher at Bexley North Primary NSW

'I still think it was one of the best shows that have come to our school and, being a year 7, it was great to see on my last year.'
Peta Grandell, Mosman Park Primary WA

NEWS: 2007!!! Joanne is available for teachers conferences or workshops, but (sniff...sadly...) unfortunately is rarely able to perform shows at schools any more (except just possibly for schools in Perth.). :-( sorry...

Great value and lots of ideas for teachers

Each one hour show gives you much more than just an hour of entertainment. There are lots of ideas for activities that classes can try after the show. Joanne uses equipment like straws and balloons that are easy to get hold of.

What you'll see

There are five different shows, so even if you've already seen one there are others with completely new information. The shows cover topics like Air, Bubbles, Fire, Slime, Spinning and Balancing. The shows are filled with activities like these:

  • Water sprayers made from two straws, and ping pong balls that balance in mid-air!
  • A slime you can make that flows like melted icecream one second and like rubber the next!
  • 'Wacky wobblers': a balancing toy that wobbles wildly but doesn't fall over! (It's easy to make!)
  • A square bubble and a bubble inside a bubble.
  • Giant bubbles over 1 metre across!
  • Small fireballs made from icing sugar (and graphic fire safety messages)
  • Candles you can light without touching a flame to the wick!
