Blockbuster rolls on: FBI finds 650,000 emails. Polls turn. Australian taxpayers fund Clinton slush fund.

US election 2016, logo. The Blockbuster rolls on. Books will be written about this week in politics. The FBI have apparently found a gargantuan 650,000 emails. They have also got a search warrant.  The news rattled markets and currencies. It’s being called a bombshell, and political TNT.  Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile said it was “Like an 18-wheeler smacking into us.” At least one mainstream columnist says the Democrats should ask Clinton to step aside before the election.

Excuses are flowing but the Clinton campaign has only itself to thank for this PR disaster

Count the ways the Clinton’s could have prevented this trainwreck. 1,2,3…

The Clinton’s raised the stakes from the start — earning something like $57 million on-the-side during the four years that Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of State. This is not illegal, but it raises red flag questions of “conflict of interest”. Anyone playing this game while in charge of trade deals for the largest economy on Earth had better play straight, be careful, and be totally transparent. Hillary apparently did none of the above. The combination of an incoming river of money, with the mysterious disappearance of 30,000 emails added a radioactive glow to what was just a red flag. Those emails were under subpoena. If only she hadn’t deleted the emails…

If only the charity looked legit, she could still get a lot of forgiveness. But IRS statements show the Clinton Foundation donations were mostly spent on employees, plane trips, and “other expenses“. It has all the appearance of being mostly slush fund, rather than charity. Check the scale:

“The Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid.” — New York Post

And the pattern continues. In 2014 only 5.7% of the budget went to charitable grants. You get the idea.

—————-

UPDATE: Is that 5.7%, 15%, or 88%? The Clinton Foundation supporters claim the charity employs people directly to help, so the IRS tally of grants underestimates the amount used to help people. (Though I wonder if people in Haiti or what not would prefer they got the money direct rather than have Clinton Foundation employees “help facilitate partnerships” (whatever that is).  Charity Watch, gave the Clinton Foundation an A rating and says it spends only 12 percent of the money it raises on “overhead.”

The Federalist documents the Clinton IRS forms and information and points out that while technically more than 6% goes to charity, a lot of money is paid to hold large dinner parties and to preserve the legend of Bill.

The Clinton Foundation’s three largest charitable “program service accomplishments,” according to its tax reports, are the Clinton Global Initiative ($23.2 million), the Clinton Presidential Library ($12.3 million), and the Clinton Climate Initiative ($8.3 million). The Clinton Global Initiative, which exists to organize and produce a lavish annual meeting headlined by former president Bill Clinton, was characterized by the New York Times as a “glitzy annual gathering of chief executives, heads of state, and celebrities,” hardly a portrait of the kind of charitable work that directly impacts the lives of the needy.

Ira Magaziner, a top former Clinton Foundation executive, also explicitly rejected that the group’s climate change activities were charitable in nature. “This is not charity,” Magaziner told The Atlantic in 2007. “The whole thing is bankable. It’s a commercial proposition.”

Meanwhile, ‘Charles Ortel, the investigator who uncovered the financial discrepancies at General Motors before its stock crashed, says the Clinton Foundation is “the largest unprosecuted charity fraud ever.”’

More than half the people outside government who met with Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state gave to the Clinton Foundation, the Associated Press reported Aug. 23. At least 85 of 154 from private interests donated as much as $156 million to the foundation, AP said. — Post-Gazette

The Clinton’s unconventional method of running a charity meant “Charity Navigator, which rates nonprofits, recently refused to rate the Clinton Foundation because its “atypical business model . . . doesn’t meet our criteria.”

Apparently Charity Navigator and other assessors which didn’t like the Foundation have seen the light in an election year and reassessed the Foundation and given it four stars. Who knows? Other non profit experts have been pretty vocal: “It seems like the Clinton Foundation operates as a slush fund for the Clintons,” said Bill Allison, a senior fellow at the Sunlight Foundation, a government watchdog group.”

——————–

Really she’s a nice person married to a great man and they get paid a lot to speak because they’re inspiring, visionary, inventive,… have lots of friends in high places. They raise millions for charity and lots-more-millions to fly themselves first class while she keeps forgetting things she’s supposed to remember, and loses emails she is supposed to keep.

The Democrats didn’t have to get themselves into this mess

It was never a good idea for a political party to nominate someone facing an FBI investigation and for most of the Democrat primaries, it was a possibility. Harry Reid claims the FBI are breaking the law and may affect the election. But no matter what the FBI does, it will be accused of “affecting the election”. Revealing stuff and hiding stuff can both swing elections. The FBI’s only real defense is transparency.

Let’s not forget that 24 years ago Bill Clinton cheered on an FBI probe that was announced against George Bush Snr a mere weekend before the 1992 election and which some Republicans blamed for costing Bush the election.

Why now when the timing is so tight? — There was a revolt at the FBI

There have been reports for weeks that a revolt was building at the FBI. Agents who put their lives on the line for their nation were fed up that James Comey, their Director had said charges shouldn’t be laid even as he admitted Hillary was as good as guilty. He said she was “extremely careless” with the “very sensitive” and “highly classified” national secrets, and “any reasonable person” should have known to do better. Isn’t that exactly what the law was supposed to prevent?

Agent were mutinous, threatening to resign:

‘The atmosphere at the FBI has been toxic ever since Jim announced last July that he wouldn’t recommend an indictment against Hillary,’ said the source, a close friend who has known Comey for nearly two decades, shares family outings with him, and accompanies him to Catholic mass every week.

‘Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,’ said the source. ‘They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.’

According to the source, Comey fretted over the problem for months and discussed it at great length with his wife, Patrice.

He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents. The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom.

Even his wife wanted him to press charges:

[talking to his]…wife, Pat. She kept urging him to admit that he had been wrong when he refused to press charges against the former secretary of state.

‘He talks about the damage that he’s done to himself and the institution [of the FBI], and how he’s been shunned by the men and women who he admires and work for him. It’s taken a tremendous toll on him.

‘It shattered his ego. He looks like he’s aged 10 years in the past four months.’

In the long run, perhaps, the FBI is one of the only institutions that no one can buy off and intimidate. Though there are suspicions that it was attempted. A political action group tied to the Clintons had donated half a million dollars to the wife of Andrew McCabe, at the time, the number three at the FBI. His wife Jill McCabe was a political novice with little history of party activism and yet with just two donations she raised twice the money of the previous candidate. Later he was promoted to number 2, and “started overseeing the probe into Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email server.” All parties involved deny any wrong-doing. (Of course…)
Trump, Hillary Clinton, US Election. 2016.Ten days to go, thousands of emails to read. The FBI say they “don’t know what they have”.

The polls are seismic

RealClearPolitics gives Clinton a 4 point lead, but the gap is narrowing. The latest WashingtonPost poll has only a 1% gap and say “just” 3 in 10 voters admit it makes them less likely to support Clinton. But that’s not a “just”, anything that affects 34% of voters the week before an election is hardly a small thing. In the end, no one knows if the polls are realistic anyway, with poll surprises the new norm in elections.  British experts are warning that the pollsters might be missing the real action like they did with Brexit. The Brexit surprise came partly because 6% of British voters who has “not voted for decades” turned up to vote. Fifteen percent of voters still haven’t decided. And of the undecided slightly more lean Republican than lean Dem.

The derision and mockery used so heavily by the Democrat camp and their media supporters means there is a potential “shy vote”. Polling is hopelessly compromised by the uncertainty of whether voters will turn up to vote. Will some voters stay away because they are certain their candidate will romp it in? Will passionate Trump fans bring five friends to the booths? Will that passion be enough to outdo the hire-cars and buses the Democrat operatives brag they are organizing?

Australian taxpayers are funding the Clinton slush fund

At least 88 million dollars from Australian taxpayers went directly to the Clinton Foundation, but  nearly half a billion went to “Clinton affiliated” groups. What did we get for that money — a job for an ex-PM?

Miranda Devine: Foreign-funded green groups could take whole swathes of Australia out of the productive economy

The Australian taxpayer shovelled at least $88 million into the Clinton Foundation and associated entities from 2006 to 2014, reaching a peak of $10.3 million in 2012-13, Gillard’s last year in office.

Gillard also donated $300 million of our money to the Clinton-affiliated Global Partnership for Education.

Lo and behold, she became chairman in 2014 and has been actively promoting Clinton as president ever since — in a campaign video last December slamming Trump, in opeds trumpeting the next woman president and in appearances with Clinton spruiking girls’ education.

The Abbott government topped up the left-wing organisation’s coffers with another $140 million in 2014, bringing total Australian largesse to $460 million, according to a press release from Foreign Minister Julie Bishop.

How much did Tony Abbott know — was this donation really a Julie Bishop gift done without Abbott involvement?

As Tony Thomas said “Imagine the howls if Abbott had funded a Bush-backed charity.”

The consequences are going to flow for years: jail anyone?

Huma Abedin, Clinton’s right-hand-woman, testified earlier this year that she had handed over all her devices that had relevant emails to the Clinton investigators. She doesn’t know how they ended up on her estranged husbands lap top, but if she is found to have lied she faces up to five years.

What I don’t understand is how the polls, even if they are rigged can be so favourable towards her after all that has happened. Surely the Americans aren’t that stupid – or are they? Oh well, if they are then they deserve her and all the disasters that will follow.

That’s an easy question. The media polls manipulate their samples. For example, if the split by affiliation is 30-30-40 (Democrat,Republican, Independents), if they make it 40-20-40 then there’s a 10% bias favoring Democrats. There are other ways to put your thumb as well.

Same thing happened with the Brexit polling.

      252

      • #

With Brexit, it appears that the polling samples were “adjusted” according to age demographic, on the basis that older people would be indifferent to the outcome, and not bother to get out and vote.

In the event, the younger cohorts thought it was a foregone conclusion, so it was they who were, “to busy”, to vote, whereas their parents and grandparents turned out in droves.

Then there is the question of “picking winners”. A lot of people vote, not on the basis of who they want to win, but on the basis of who they think is likely to win. These people just love to be associated with, “the winning side” in any debate, so they vote accordingly. They are usually the ones who complain about the outcome, even though they voted for it.

The latest (as at 1 Nov 2016) show the NBC has 70% Democrat voters while the ABC poll has +9 Democrats over Republicans. For those outside the US, the number of Democrats and Republicans are about equal.

Bill has a lot of confidence in the USC/LATimes poll.
Notice that The Donald has nearly broken out on the top side of the confidence interval. Similarly HRC has nearly broken out through the bottom.

      PeterS,

There are also many ‘undecided’ voters, and even a few Democrats, that lean Trump, but don’t want to admit it, and this will skew poles as well. The reason is embarrassment because the media has done such a thorough job trying to make Trump look like a horrible person. This effect also seemed to be an influence with the Brexit polling.

co2isnotevil I know where you are coming from and I tend to agree. However, the real state of the intelligence versus gullibility of the Americans will be tested soon enough. Of course we also have the real threat of voter fraud to contend with but we may never know the full extent of it. Whatever the outcome, I wish Americans all the best but if they go for Clinton then they deserve whatever they get as they have been warned long enough and hard enough by now despite the extreme bias of the mainstream media. I thought Americans hated socialism and believed in Godly pursuits but it appears they have fallen in love with the former and turned their backs on the latter. The irony is Russia has gone the other way. They used to be socialistic and evil but now they are a Christian republic. Oh the irony of it all.

As I understand it the media organisation oversample Dems because there are more enrolled Dems than Republicans, on the surface that’s a sensible thing to do if everyone enrolled votes. This is the same as taking the assumed preference flows from the last election in our Polls to account for preference allocations.

This probably doesn’t reflect actual voting patterns as preference flow assumptions from previous elections don’t reflect indie preference allocations in Oz. This is what happened last election here, the defection from the Libs didn’t go to Labor it went to indies.

Many Dem leaning pollsters though, extend the oversampling to get the outcome you desire, so that for most of the election they are heavily Dem biassed, interestingly the wisdom in the US is that this favours you – rather than the assumption in Oz that being the underdog is the best position. This is apparently because huge polling leads for one candidate suppress turnout for the other, a problem we don’t suffer due to mandatory voting.

What you see now though is that while these media organisations are prepared to corrupt polling to favour the dems out from the election, as the election approaches they need to dial in the favouritism in order that there predictions become credible by election day. That way they can draw out value in promoting their side during the election but still appear as credible pollsters after the election. This is why the polls are narrowing now.

This is my opinion of it anyway.

          Geoff asks:

Is she Iranian, Russian or a Mozzy?

None of the above. Huma is an American citizen by birth.

I presume that she is a practicing Muslim, only because of her role with the GWU Muslim Association. That fact of itself does not imply anything untoward.

She would have needed to go through the extensive State Department security vetting process, prior to becoming a full time personal aid for Hillary Clinton.

That security vetting process would need to have be repeated on a regular basis during the twelve years she worked for Clinton. On a two yearly cycle, that would be six times, with each one being undertaken by a different team.

As things stand, there is no smoking gun, that indicates that Huma was complicit in Hillary Clinton setting up a private email server, in addition to the official State Department email system. Note, the private email server was established just before Hillary took up the role of Secretary.

It appears that Huma was given access to the private email server, some time after she started working for Hillary, because it could act as a “convenient” communications medium between her and Hillary.

What I see, is Hillary, who is too self-important to bother following the rules laid down for the regular troops, but also too naive to understand why the rules were laid down in the first place. What I also see, is an assistant who does exactly what she is told to do by her employer, even if what she is told to do, runs counter to the established rules.

My guess and thats all it’d be. Is the American security agencies would know exactly who and what they are dealing with. It is her emails that has the FBI hitting the panic button. Another guess would be that other security agencies outside the FBI are being briefed.
“-Huma Abedin has served as vice chairwoman for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign for president, & continues in her role as personal assistant to Clinton, currently #3 position. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump proposed banning Muslims from entering the United States, Abedin wrote an open letter to Clinton supporters calling herself “a proud Muslim” & criticized Trump’s plan as “literally (writing) racism into our law books.” Worked at a journal that promotes Islamic-supremacist ideology, founded by one top al-Qaeda financier, Abdullah Omar Naseef. Naseef ran the Rabita Trust, foreign terrorist organization under American law. Ms. Abedin & Naseef overlapped at the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs (JMMA) for at least 7yrs.
-Syed Zainul Abedin, her father (died 1993), Huma was two they moved to Saudi Arabia. According to Walid Shoebat, a former member of the Muslim Brotherhood, now a peace activist, writes, “The Abedins for decades were actually serving a foreign entity, the government of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and not American Democracy as President Obama stated.”
-Saleha Mahmood Abedin, her mother is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s female division the “Muslim Sisterhood” Hillary’s aide’s mom is law professor in Jeddah Saudi Arabia”.

          1. Her background: She was born in America and is an American Citizen, and would need security clearance, on a regular basis. Being Muslim is not a crime.
          2. Donations to the Clinton Foundation: The Saudis have always bought preferences with influential political groups. They can afford to back every horse in the race.
          3. Foreign policy of the USA in the Middle East: Which is friendly towards the Saudis.

I will take up your bet. How much are you prepared to wager that the Saudis have copies of all the emails?

Two things you need to understand. The first thing is that American media has not played the Clinton problems up much. They have ignored this “elephant in the room” until it was no longer possible to ignore – when Comey sent his letter. Trump has been correct in saying the MSM has been Clinton’s PR crew.

The second thing is that democrats do NOT abandon their party candidates no matter what. They will not believe anything negative about their candidates unless they are opting to become independents. I have never in my life seen such “dedication” to party as they seem to have. I might be wrong, but I believe Satan could run as a democrat and the party would support him.

Another possibility, given Weiner’s sexting, he may have hacked her account to see if she was cheating on HIM. That would explain her surprise they were there (she never authorized it), and the fact that Hillary is scrambling trying to come up with a talking point for the revelation.

Since the IP from their house/apartment would have been used by her with her own device, it would not have triggered any hacking alarms when he broke into it.

We may never know. But it was just the “shock” of Huma that leads me to believe she was truly surprised they were there. She knew Weiner was under investigation, so if she did know, she would have warned Hillary.

Someone else came up with the possibility that, being technologically naive’, Weiner showed her how to “back up” her device and chose that to back it up to. In any event, while I wholeheartedly agree with you that they play those semantic games, it just looks like she was surprised in this case.

The rumor is that some of the emails were in a file called ‘life insurance’.

It seems that most was from a backup on Wieners computer. The FBI says that the meta data pointed to the Clinton server and the state dept and that’s why they got the warrant to look at the contents. Kind of a fine point though, since the body and meta-data are stored in the same mailbox file, so it would have been far too tempting and easy to look at the contents before getting a warrant. All you would need to do is open the mailbox file in a text editor and its all there in front of you. The ‘complex’ program required to sort through and analyze these backed up mailboxes is basically thunderbird or any other email client. While there’s solid probable cause to get the warrant based on the meta data alone, I have to believe that Comey’s recent disclosure was based on more than just meta data.

” I mean the FBI refused to prosecute Hillary based on their assessment of her INTENT….”

As you well know RAH, that law has nothing to do with INTENT. All it takes is HAVING classified material where it is not supposed to be.

A recent case of a US Navy sailor jailed for taking photos of classified areas of nuclear submarine shows how a normal human is treated under this law.

Kristian Saucier pleaded guilty in May to ‘foolish mistake’ of unauthorized detention of defense information…

Saucier took the photos knowing they were classified, but did so only to be able to show his family and future children what he did while he was in the Navy, his lawyers said. He denied sharing the photos with any unauthorized recipient…

Remember as Secretary of State, Clinton would have been trained on the protocols for handling sensitive materials and the information found in the emails was not only confidential but top secret and above. That she WILLFULLY IGNORED that training and did as she pleased is what makes her completely unfit for any public office. It also renders the the FBI director’s assumption about her ‘intent’ laughable.

      18 U.S. Code § 793 – Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information

      […](d)
Whoever, lawfully having possession of, access to, control over, or being entrusted with any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it on demand to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it; or

      [….] (f)
Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both. […]

Here’s the way that the American election works. We are actually not voting for either candidate, we are voting for electors. In Early December, those electors get together and then vote for who they want as president. For the most part, they vote for who their state went for as well (there are a few rare exceptions in history).

So even if Hillary wins, there is nothing holding her electors to vote for her. They could vote for Tim Kaine, or even Mickey Mouse. It probably will not happen, but it is a possibility.

      101

      • #
        David Maddison

Thanks for clarifying that Phil. So theoretically, if Killary or the Saudis paid those electors enough money, they could be brib ed to vote for her even if the people wanted Trump?

        22

        • #
          PhilJourdan

Not exactly what I had in mind, but yes it could happen. But most of the time, the electors are a fruit loop short of psychotic for the candidate they are elected to vote for. That is probably why there are so few cases of any elector not voting the way they were supposed to.

          10

      • #
        RAH

        PhilJourdon

It depends on the law of the state the elector is from. Many states have “faithless elector” laws which make it illegal for an elector to switch their vote.
        https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/electors.html

        31

        • #
          PhilJourdan

Yes, but the problem is, they have to break the law to be prosecuted, and then they have already done so. So even though they would “break a law”, the Constitution over rules the law, so their vote would count.

          • #
            RAH

            Please read the link:
” Some state laws provide that so-called “faithless Electors” may be subject to fines or may be disqualified for casting an invalid vote and be replaced by a substitute elector. “

            • #
              PhilJourdan

I did, and thank you. However, the “electors” vote on a single day. So the crime will not be committed until they do vote. And since that vote is then outside of the control of the states, the deed will have been done and cannot be undone. You cannot “revote”. There is no provision for that. They can only replace someone if they know in advance of their intention to be “faithless”.

              That is the gotcha.

              10

If you go way back, the ‘Electoral College concept’, was the original idea to prevent the destruction of the ‘republic’ of however many ‘states’!
The populous elects only local members, each suitable as ‘president of the republic’, now at 535 in number. These electors ride to Philadelphia near the holidays to cheerfully decide by vote, who of their midsts will become ‘president’,and second by the same vote ‘vice-president’. Of course each elector was carrying his favorite ‘bat’; to insure his state winning that cheerful decision!
        All the best! -will-

Your understanding exceeds most Americans. After the 2k election, some states and many democrats wanted to do away with the Electoral College. However that would require 3/4 vote by the states. And there are a lot more small states than there are large ones, so it will never happen. If the vote was strictly by popular vote, small states would never see either candidate. NOw it is usually the smaller states that receive a lot of the attention in every campaign for just that reason.

The Clintons might be able to control Washington, but so many lawyers are technically incompetent. I’ll bet they saved a dollar and gave Weiner an old computer of Huma’s, with just the files erased. Ha. Ha.

So the FBI were looking for deleted pictures and emails of Weiner’s weiner and found Clintons’s trove, the entire email database. 650,000 emails alone. What other documents? That’s only emails.

Now at 365 days of the year, that is 500 emails a day for every day Clinton was Secretary of State. 20 emails an hour for four years. Or put another way, if only 2 lines per email, 1.3Million lines, 26 million words, about 40 copies of War and Peace. As many as 400 copies!

Still the FBI have the software to analyse this sort of traffic. Just look for key words like slush, silence, transfer, Soros and her minders. How many were private communications between Huma and her friends in her Arab world? Weiner is looking like a saviour and the FBI are thanking him!

Normally police lack evidence. Prosecutors have to argue over meanings. This time they will absolutely drown in evidence. Finished by the election? Not likely. Found enough to prosecute? Yes, already. That’s why something had to be said. If any of the emails are Top Secret, that itself is a crime, regardless of the content.

Now Hilary can explain why she refused to allow the Secret Service to handle and encrypt and secure her emails, why she had to handle it all herself from her garage and why it is mixed up with hundreds of millions of dollars in private transactions. It is hard to think of an explanation, but her team will be coming up with one now or running to places which do not have extradition treaties.

I’ll bet the FBI wanted a warrant to cover themselves against claims of privilege, secrecy, affairs of state and any other legal roadblocks the Clintons invent to stop publication.

Books will be written about Hilary and how she worked the system and you can be sure there are stories no one has suspected. This will go on for years, a true expose of how the Washington privilege system works.

For Australians there might even be stories from our Julia Gillard or Julie Bishop! We might read about the real Julia at last and why she gave so much money and why she received the Education job from the Clintons. Efforts to remove Tony Abbott? Climate Change. Al Gore and the IPCC. George Soros. Hollywood celebrities. Very left billionaires. Our Julie and Julia will not be sleeping well, nor anyone who ever sent and email or cash to the Clintons! That’s a lot of people.

Ha. Ha. Ha. We might see the end to Climategate. As suggested previously, this might be WeinerGate.

These elections may well be the most important in history – if one side wins, the mirage of democracy will be shattered (pro-Clinton Soros’s controlling of the voting machinery in many states will see to that); if the other wins, the cosy, cossetted lives of the elite will be shattered, and democracy may well be strengthened. o/t but feel sure reporting on CAGW won’t be among the episodes that “breached the broadcaster’s impartiality standards”:

31 Oct: news.com.au: with AAP: ABC confirms science show Catalyst under review following broadcast of controversial episodes

However, the program will return next year albeit in a much changed format.

The ABC has not confirmed the sackings. Indeed, the ABC’s MediaWatch has tweeted that it is “not true 11 staff will go”. Nonetheless, the ABC has said the show is under review and has been silent on any potential staff changes…READ ON

Then there was the shocking program telling Australians that cholesterol lowering statins were unnecessary. How many people will die as a consequence? That level of anti science damage is along the lines of anti vaxers, wifi causes cancer and carbon dioxide is a pollutant the world is heating dangerously and only windmills and bicycles will save us. The ABC needs to be sold. They are even deciding their own wages and job conditions now. It’s the public self-service.

        Not too many.

The version of statin science that is propagated through MSM is closely related to their version of climate science.

I’m no Hillary fan but, she could and should have prevented this with some very simple steps.
    1. She could have used the government approved email system for all government business.
    2. When FOIed, she could have provided all the emails instead of deleting most of them.
    3. When requested, she and her helpers could have given the FBI all of their electronic devices.
    4. She could have kept all of her charitable activities above board.
    5. She could have kept all records of government business properly, per the law.
Had she and her people followed these simple and honest steps and she would be a shoe in as the first female POTUS.
It must be that honest part she and some of the democrats have a problem with, eh?
(Full disclosure: I voted for Gary Johnson – I can’t can’t feel your Bern but you can feel my Johnson)

The problem may go back decades. This pattern of behaviour is not new, only the technology and her lack of understanding of it. In fact if not for Weiner’s erratic behaviour, she would likely have been President, fired the head of the FBI and destroyed the evidence. That still might happen.

If you voted Johnson you voted FOR HILLARY.

I say this as someone who voted for Ron Paul and bitterly regretted it since that meant we got Obummer.

I sure hope the votes going to Johnson doesn’t mean we get Hillary.

The Democrats have been using third party candidates to pull votes from the republicans for decades.

Of course at this point it wasn’t supposed to matter. That is why the Bush family will vote for Hillary. (Trump isn’t part of the political machine)

      UNI-PARTY:

“The chief problem of American political life for a long time has been how to make the two congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so the that American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.”

Quote from Tragedy and Hope, 1966 by Carroll Quigley, member of Council on Foreign Relations, mentor to Bill Clinton.

An excellent but lengthy description of America’s Ruling Class from Angelo M. Codevilla (2010)

…Never has there been so little diversity within America’s upper crust. Always, in America as elsewhere, some people have been wealthier and more powerful than others. But until our own time America’s upper crust was a mixture of people who had gained prominence in a variety of ways….

Today’s ruling class, from Boston to San Diego, was formed by an educational system that exposed them to the same ideas and gave them remarkably uniform guidance, as well as tastes and habits. These amount to a social canon of judgments about good and evil, complete with secular sacred history, sins (against minorities and the environment), and saints. Using the right words and avoiding the wrong ones when referring to such matters — speaking the “in” language — serves as a badge of identity. Regardless of what business or profession they are in, their road up included government channels and government money…

The two classes have less in common culturally, dislike each other more, and embody ways of life more different from one another than did the 19th century’s Northerners and Southerners — nearly all of whom, as Lincoln reminded them, “prayed to the same God.” By contrast, while most Americans pray to the God “who created and doth sustain us,” our ruling class prays to itself as “saviors of the planet” and improvers of humanity. Our classes’ clash is over “whose country” America is…

… while most of the voters who call themselves Democrats say that Democratic officials represent them well, only a fourth of the voters who identify themselves as Republicans tell pollsters that Republican officeholders represent them well. Hence officeholders, Democrats and Republicans, gladden the hearts of some one-third of the electorate — most Democratic voters, plus a few Republicans. This means that Democratic politicians are the ruling class’s prime legitimate representatives and that because Republican politicians are supported by only a fourth of their voters while the rest vote for them reluctantly, most are aspirants for a junior role in the ruling class. In short, the ruling class has a party, the Democrats. But some two-thirds of Americans — a few Democratic voters, most Republican voters, and all independents — lack a vehicle in electoral politics.

Sooner or later, well or badly, that majority’s demand for representation will be filled…. [This is why Trump is so popular]

While Europeans are accustomed to being ruled by presumed betters whom they distrust, the American people’s realization of being ruled like Europeans shocked this country into well nigh revolutionary attitudes. But only the realization was new. The ruling class had sunk deep roots in America over decades before 2008….

Its attitude is key to understanding our bipartisan ruling class. Its first tenet is that “we” are the best and brightest while the rest of Americans are retrograde, racist, and dysfunctional [Hillary’s Basket of Deplorables] unless properly constrained….

As their number and sense of importance grew, so did their distaste for common Americans. Believing itself “scientific,” this Progressive class sought to explain its differences from its neighbors in “scientific” terms….

Our ruling class’s agenda is power for itself. While it stakes its claim through intellectual-moral pretense, it holds power by one of the oldest and most prosaic of means: patronage and promises thereof. Like left-wing parties always and everywhere, it is a “machine,” that is, based on providing tangible rewards to its members. Such parties often provide rank-and-file activists with modest livelihoods and enhance mightily the upper levels’ wealth. Because this is so, whatever else such parties might accomplish, they must feed the machine by transferring money or jobs or privileges — civic as well as economic — to the party’s clients, directly or indirectly…..

By taxing and parceling out more than a third of what Americans produce, through regulations that reach deep into American life, our ruling class is making itself the arbiter of wealth and poverty. While the economic value of anything depends on sellers and buyers agreeing on that value as civil equals in the absence of force, modern government is about nothing if not tampering with civil equality. By endowing some in society with power to force others to sell cheaper than they would, and forcing others yet to buy at higher prices — even to buy in the first place — modern government makes valuable some things that are not, and devalues others that are. Thus if you are not among the favored guests at the table where officials make detailed lists of who is to receive what at whose expense, you are on the menu….

Laws and regulations nowadays are longer than ever because length is needed to specify how people will be treated unequally….

In sum, our ruling class does not like the rest of America. Most of all does it dislike that so many Americans think America is substantially different from the rest of the world and like it that way. For our ruling class, however, America is a work in progress, just like the rest the world, and they are the engineers….

A very interesting discussion about Comey’s actions and possible motivations by Scott Adams of Dilbert fame. It presumes knowledge of James Comey’s background that is beyond what I know but is internally consistent if you accept what he states about Comey, the man.

His explanation is that in the initial investigation, Comey’s hands were tied by political considerations, not for the Democrats but for the US electoral process but the second investigations discosveries were just too compelling for these considerations to override justice. Basically, Scott Adams sees Comey as being a hero for, in both cases, trying to do the right thing for the country despite the personal damage to his reputation.

Well worth reading IMO and maybe worth an update to this thread.

keep in mind Trump is +6 on McMullin & Clinton in Real Clear Politics average for week to 27 October:

31 Oct: Salt Lake Tribune: Matt Canham: Donald Trump says losing to Evan McMullin in Utah would be ‘devasating,’ likely cost him election
Donald Trump lashed out at independent Evan McMullin, calling him “a puppet” who could cost Republicans the election and give liberals the Supreme Court for the next 60 years if he wins in Utah.
The Republican presidential candidate and his running mate Mike Pence never uttered McMullin’s name in their joint interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on Saturday. Instead Trump called out Bill Kristol, the conservative commentator who sought to recruit an independent challenger and helped nudge McMullin into the race in August.
“He gets his puppet to go and run in Utah. The guy takes votes away from me,” Trump said, before adding, “You know, we’re going to win Utah.”…

About Josh Rogin, who wrote both WaPo pieces below: Josh Rogin is a CNN political analyst, as well as a columnist on foreign policy and national security for Bloomberg View. Previously, Rogin has covered foreign policy and national security for Newsweek, The Daily Beast, Foreign Policy, The Washington Post, Federal Computer Week and Japan’s Asahi Shimbun. His work has been featured on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, NPR, PBS, and several other outlets.(CNN)

22 Aug: WaPo: Josh Rogin: The story behind Evan McMullin’s run for president
The people who drafted McMullin to be the “Never Trump” independent candidate are some of the Republican establishment’s most well-known operatives: Bill Kristol, John Kingston, Joel Searby, Rick Wilson. McMullin is an unknown congressional staffer who worked for the CIA, including 10 years undercover, and has no political experience whatsoever…
I’ve known Evan for several years. Before he decided to run, he asked me for advice…
After about a decade of service, he decided he wanted a shot at a normal life. He returned to the United States, went to business school and got a job at Goldman Sachs…

30 Oct: WaPo: Josh Rogin: Inside Evan McMullin’s 10 years undercover in the CIA
Conservative independent presidential candidate Evan McMullin is rising in the polls and stands a fair chance of stealing the red state of Utah from GOP nominee Donald Trump. So it’s no surprise that pro-Trump Republicans and others are raising questions about his record as an undercover CIA officer…
But I interviewed six former CIA officers who worked with McMullin during his 10 years inside the agency. What emerged was a picture of a young case officer who volunteered for duty in the world’s most dangerous places and had a unique talent for recruiting members of extremist organizations as assets…
Kevin Hulbert, a former senior CIA official in the directorate of operations who worked with McMullin overseas, told me that McMullin’s steady personality, honesty and work ethic reassured potential intelligence sources who were risking their lives to help the United States…

***He resigned from the CIA, attended Wharton Business School and got a job at Goldman Sachs…
Dismayed over how the GOP leadership was equivocating on Trump, he resigned and declared his candidacy for president…

His campaign has garnered ***national press attention, but McMullin himself had ***avoided much scrutiny…
Last week, former CIA senior official John Kiriakou, a famous whistleblower who was also imprisoned for revealing classified information, alleged that McMullin’s “history doesn’t hold up to scrutiny.” Pro-Trump Fox News pundit Sean Hannity called McMullin a plant from either the Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney camp. Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs tweeted that McMullin was a “Mormon Mafia Tool.” Trump called him a puppet who “nobody ever heard of.”…
The former spy may become the first non-major-party presidential candidate to win a state since 1968 without most of the country coming to know him.
***That might be his most successful covert operation.

So who’s watching the watchers? Who is spying on the spies?

As shown by books like The Wedge the inter-agency and internal agency dirty tricks abound for both protecting agency prestige and for personal gain.
Now if the State Department Office is run by a furiously acquisitive person, who is out to make themselves both richer and bolster their political platform, such agency backbiting can be very useful, very profitable.

So why did the the leaks happen now? Probably because within the FBI internal pressure and power brokering has forced it.
Remember the current head of the FBI, James Comey, has form with the Clintons — Comey signed on as deputy special counsel to the Senate Whitewater Committee. In 1996, after months of work, Comey came to some damning conclusions: Hillary Clinton was personally involved in mishandling documents and had ordered others to block investigators as they pursued their case.
    But Clinton still escaped prosecution.

How much more misdirection, flim-flam and outright Łies will yet come out?
We do indeed live in interesting times.

You covered most of the ground very well. As SOS, Hillary had her tentacles in a lot of countries – and they hid that money through a Canadian shell corporation. “Criminals”…….. “Americans”…….????? This proves my point that ‘collective qualifications’ are the chief mechanism used to obscure exactly ‘who’ the criminals are without resorting to vague lazy descriptions that remove the need to ‘qualify’ exactly ‘who’ the criminals are and what they have done. The easy art of putting everything into a single category removing the need to think or further investigation of the detail.

Collective qualification is the stuff that racism, bigotry, prejudice, (for example) is made of. Evil cannot be removed without naming it on a case by case individual level or it will hide in the masses of a collective as an invisible shield.

There is NEGATIVE trust in the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation and FBI Director James Comey.

The original investigation into Hillary’s emails was a coverup. Signs of the coverup:

    * There was NO grand jury;
    * There were no subpoenas or search warrants issued;
    * They didn’t even look for other devices anywhere;
    * They didn’t search Hillary Clinton’s home;
    * They didn’t search Platte River Networks servers or devices for individual emails or the .pst email downloads;
    * They didn’t search Google’s cloud for the email .pst file downloads;
    * They didn’t search the NSA archives for the Hillary Clinton’s emails;
    * They didn’t record the interrogation of Hillary Clinton;
    * They allowed subjects of the investigation to sit in on the interrogation of Hillary Clinton posing as her lawyers;
    * They agreed to destroy evidence;
    * They gave immunity to Hillary’s criminal associates;
    * They gave immunity deals that they would never give to you;
    * They didn’t obtain search warrants to seize computers, phones and/or other devices from her and five of her implicated aides;
    * They didn’t even search for or find any of the incriminating posts that Katica@GopPollAnalyst found on Reddit and subsequently linked stonetear to Platte River Networks Paul Combetta;
    * Any moron could have performed a more thorough investigation than Comey;

The FBI basically didn’t do their jobs. It was all a coverup.

By the way, it also means that the FBI allowed the Huma Abedin AND Anthony Weiner spy RINGS to continue operating right under their noses while they were covering up Hillary’s treason.

President Donald Trump’s Special Prosecutors are going to have a massive job cleaning house just in the US DoJ and FBI, not to mention the rest of the government.

There is some real amusement here.

    1) The actual lesson learned from Climategate by the power-addicted, self-described “elite” was: “Keep your emails and data on machines that are NOT subject to FOIA”

So Hilary did … and unbeknownst to her, so did others – with her data and emails.

    2) The actual lesson learned from Brexit by the power-addicted, self-described “elite” was: “NEVER ask the hoi-polloi real questions that matter”

But now Hilary has to ask such a question: “Me or him ?”. Except the hoi-polloi now have the FOIA scam unravelling in front of their eyes.

It is to laugh, as Daffy Duck informed us.

I’m wondering if Huma might be offered an immunity deal she can’t refuse.

Since the FBI have concurrent investigations running on the Clinton Foundation and others, Huma could bring them a two-fer at the very least.

The other possibility is that Huma commits suicide caused by two shots to the back of the head.

Offering Huma immunity would surely only be about the investigation into Hilary. Now Huma herself will be the subject of the investigation. How else could Wiener have 650,000 emails and what was Huma doing with them in the first place?

I do not know Huma’s status, but possibly she was an employee of Clinton’s, not the State Department. This raises serious questions of security. What access should a personal assistant have to the affairs of State, access which allows her to copy and remove State secrets?

Oh, certainly, but Hilary is the prime objective.

The damage has already been done and if it means Huma has to be deported to her family in Saudi Arabia because she’s become a security risk, that’s an acceptable trade off IMHO . . . and we know how these things go.
Personally I’d like to see ’em all banged up.

It’ll be interesting to see how Huma handles all this.
She’s the quiet type and certainly not the brash mouthy advocate like Donna Brasile or John Podesta.
Perhaps that’s one reason she’s been able to fly under the radar.

    1. Hillary, et al, are guilty as sin, but exposing (some of) this is the best we can hope for.
    2. Hillary, and her “highest-up” accomplices will never spend one minute in detention.

The U.S. Constitution grants the President an unrestricted power to grant pardon. The paperwork for everyone who might have dirt on Obama is probably already done. In fact, though it has never been done before, the Constitution does not preclude a President pardoning himself. The current Resident [snip] in the White House likely has the chutzpah to do it.

Communist China is run by its ‘princelings’ oligarchy, which greatly resembles the US political elite.

‘This genre of Podesta email, in which people try to arrange jobs for themselves or their kids, points us toward the most fundamental thing we know about the people at the top of this class: their loyalty to one another and the way it overrides everything else. Of course Hillary Clinton staffed her state department with investment bankers and then did speaking engagements for investment banks as soon as she was done at the state department.’

This is really not political. The statue involved only requires negligence, not intent. Comey before Congress told them (1) Hillary was grossly negligent and (2) she outright lied. I “believe” Comey’s hands were tied and he was not allowed to “recommend” an indictment of Hillary. So he told Congress using the very careful words of the Statute that she effectively committed a felony. This has been a political white-wash and to elect Hillary will unleash an unbelievable amount of chaos in Washington. This will ultimately destroy whatever respect for government still exists. This is the prerequisite for the decline and fall and the Democrats are more in the pocket of the Clinton Inc. machine than they are for defending the people and the integrity of the nation….

Either we have Rule of Law where no one is above the law. Or we have a Banana Republic run by a criminal cartel. For the last eight years it has been a Banana Republic with those in power looting the nation by Doubling the debt and NOT improving the infrastructure. We have bridges failing, potholes destroying semi trucks and crumbling airports. Instead of fixing these things that matter the ‘Stimulus’ went to ‘Green Energy Projects’ that then bankrupted.

A 2 Terabyte drive will hold 650000 email messages without too much trouble if the messages are rather brief. There would not be a lot of leftover space on the drive.

    31

    • #
      TdeF

It they are text only, say 1kbyte each that is less than 1Gbyte, and 2Terabyte is 2,000 Gbyte so 0.05% of the drive. Negligible. Attached documents like contracts, scans and photgraphs and PDFs are the problem but most emails are limited to 5Mbyte so at absolute maximum 3Terabyte if every single one had a huge attachment. More likely it is one in one hundred.

My suspicion is that no one was aware of the existence of this email database, not even Mr Weiner. The very first thing the FBI would have done is look for deleted files, a trivial task. After all, Mr Weiner would be expected to have deleted his selfies and suspect emails. Then what popped up was probably Huma’s email database. Intact. Whatever was on it, this is evidence that an assistant to an elected official had access to top secret information. She also lied about what devices she used. Hilary’s emails did not even stay on her improper garage server. This is past incompetence and arrogance. It has endangered the whole country. Apparently even the President communicated under an assumed name, which is why Hilary’s aides wiped her hard disc, itself an offence. They did not wipe Huma’s old computer, possibly because Huma forgot and like Hilary did not realise that just deleting the files is useless.

Whatever comes of the emails themselves, whatever they are about, this is a total collapse of any semblance of security for one of the most important international figures in the Obama government. No security at all for four years. Did Huma use any other computers in the last decade? How much is on them? Where are they?

Forget Russian hackers. How much did this government trust its greatest secrets to Huma? What other documents are on this computer if a large email database is there? How much relates to government and how much to the Clinton money making businesses? How many documents from foreign leaders and business partners? How many from Julia Gillard and even Julie Bishop? How many letters asking for favours? How many deals were done in writing and deleted? How many people are now having sleepless nights because the former US Secretary of State had no security at all?

      111

I just realised. What was Hilary’s email database doing on Huma’s computer anyway? Or was it Huma’s email database and emails between them, in which case she would have to write an email every ten minutes for 4 years. No, likely this is the Secretary of State’s email database copied, but did Hilary know Huma copied her database? Then why would she do so? Was it for a third party? Are we looking at espionage here? Treason? What security clearance did a 20 year old Huma get which allowed her such access for 20 years? This is someone who grew up in Saudi Arabia until 16 and whose family is very active as she is in other matters which are questionable in the context of the Arab Spring. Wow. The mind boggles.

Also, say it was a .pst file from Outlook. Chances are it was partly overwritten, but when was it copied? Or, worse still, was Huma in the habit of copying the whole file, so there are many copies with different dates, which is how the FBI found at least one intact? Dates are critical. Regularly copying the database may have been a primitive attempt at backup but is also has huge implications for security and rights of access and means the database could have been moved overseas on dropbox or similar. Did Huma have a big file transfer system like Dropbox? If so, are there records of Hilary’s database being sent to a third party? Bigger and bigger. The implications are incredible. Hilary wants more information when the very existence of these emails in the public domain is inexcusable.

Don’t forget too that Huma apparently transferred many emails to her Yahoo account because it was easier to print them from there.

If the FBI have discovered just a few on Weiner’s laptop, which was apparently shared with Huma at some point, then it’s a trivial matter to demand her password to access to Huma’s Yahoo account.

The Yahoo account will hold any amount of emails (and attachments) and I’d expect the FBI could demand that Yahoo themselves provide FBI access in any event.

            51

            • #
              TdeF

I think the FBI will be checking all Huma’s services, Yahoo being only one. There are the mass file transfer background systems like Dropbox too which can move Gbytes easily. However copies could exist if that was done and destinations will be traced. What we have is technically challenged people trying to hide activity, without realising no delete is effective and that copies exist in the web. There is much more to come out and while Hilary can demand security, privacy and privilege, how much privacy applies to Huma is debatable.

The question is whether one email, not 650,000, just one will be found before the election and on which Huma is indictable and so Hilary.

There are 30,000 or so emails alleged to have been deleted. If this is so, then it would be reasonable to consider why. It could be a case of where there’s smoke, there’s fire and it would not be unreasonable to consider they were deleted because they were regarded as damaging should they escape from captivity.

With 650,000 to search, it is also possible copies of the “missing/deleted” ones could be recoverable, ie they are buried somewhere in that trove.

I will be watching that space for a while. Mind you, this couldn’t have happened to nicer people.

I have followed this election campaign to more of a degree than any in the past, and have come to the conclusion that it doesn’t matter who wins: either one of them is all too likely to be a disaster. I rather favour the Green candidate. She has been speaking good sense but with a following of around 10% is not in the race.

Yeah, but this kinda assumes Huma is using Outlook and a POP account.

She doesn’t need to use Outlook or any other mail client app to access her email. These days most people will be using IMAP rather than POP protocol so that eliminates the local storage issue altogether. She may well be using just a web interface for access. If she’s using multiple devices, say a laptop and a Blackberry, this makes perfect sense.

The fact that she forwards emails to her Yahoo account to make printing easier perhaps also suggests that.
We’re assuming the 650,000 emails with attachments are physically stored locally but that more than likely isn’t the case, I’d reckon.

It is Huma’s that they found. But emails have at least 2 ends, a sender and receiver. So if they find emails from Hillary that are marked classified on her email, that proves 2 things.

#1 – Hillary did know she was sending classified emails on an unsecure account.
#2 – She lied about it and destroyed evidence (2 crimes even more serious than her leaking national security).

#2 is the killer. They may never be able to prove she “knew” she was handling classified emails (she is a lawyer and my wife who is in the profession as well, says the best answer you give to any question is “I do not recall”), but if they find she destroyed evidence and then lied about it, that is an easy case to prosecute. Remember, it was not the sex that got Bill. It was the lying about it.

With a 2 TB drive and assuming an average size of 10 KB for each email one would be able to fit over 200 million messages, and that’s without compression. With compression the number of emails would go into the billions. Have not taken into account attachments (eg, pictures and pdf files) but that would not make much difference if the vast majority of email are plain text messages, which would be a valid assumption. So, 650,000 email messages should occupy a tiny fraction of the hard drive.

31 Oct: CNN Money: Donna Brazile, the acting chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, resigned from her role as a CNN contributor earlier this month. Her departure was announced Monday amid fresh revelations that she sent questions to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in advance of a CNN debate and a CNN-TV One town hall. In a statement, CNN said it was “completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor.”

VIDEO: 56mins35secs: 31 Oct: Gateway Pundit: Jim Hoft: PETER THIEL Takes On Hostile Media Establishment at National Press Club
    Guest post by Jay Stone
Billionaire venture capitalist Peter Thiel spoke at the National Press Club today on his support for Donald Trump.
Most of the media ignored the groundbreaking presser today.
They don’t want Americans to know about this pro-Trump gay conservative from Silicon Valley.
FOX Business Network carried much of the speech live…
National Press Club Executive Director William C. McCarren treated several members of the press brusquely as they tried to enter the event…
The event highlighted the growing gulf between the establishment and the rest of the country, the mainstream press versus the independent press, and the truth of what’s seen from direct sources and how mainstream reporters often spin it.
At one point during the speech, Thiel directly pointed out the hoaxing and bias within the media. “The Advocate, a magazine which once praised me as a ‘gay innovator,’ published an article saying that as of now I am, and I quote, ‘not a gay man,’ because I don’t agree with their politics.”…

NYT doubles down by reviving a 29 Oct piece from their website?

Peter Thiel Defends His Most Contrarian Move Yet: Supporting Trump by David Streitfied
    New York Times-29 Oct. 2016
(A version of this article appears in print on October 31, 2016, on page B1 of the New York edition with the headline: Peter Thiel, Contrarian Tech Billionaire, Defends His Support of Trump.)
Two weeks ago, Mr. Thiel revealed that he was donating $1.25 million to support the election of Donald J. Trump. As these things go, it was a small gift. Dustin Moskovitz, a founder of Facebook, is giving tens of millions to support Hillary Clinton. But the news made Mr. Thiel a pariah in much of the tech community.
He was accused of promoting racism and intolerance. There were demands that Facebook drop him from its board of directors and that Silicon Valley’s leading start-up incubator, Y Combinator, sever ties with him. Emotions and accusations raged on Twitter…
“By lending his image, his voice, his influence and substantial capital to Trump, Thiel isn’t simply exercising his legal right to vote: He is fueling and enabling racism, sexism, sexual assault, violence and tyranny,” Arlan Hamilton of Backstage Capital, a Los Angeles venture firm, wrote in a blog post…

There are thousands of C-list liberal female celebrities who love all the radical policies that Hillary pushes, like removing the part of the First Amendment that covers religion, so why did the Democratic Party decide to give the podium at their convention to a self-admitted child molester?

While Lena Dunham denies that what she did was child molestation, here’s what she wrote in her autobiography – the “her” is her younger sister, who was one year old when this behavior started:

As she grew, I took to bribing her for her time and affection: one dollar in quarters if I could do her makeup like a ‘motorcycle chick.’ Three pieces of candy if I could kiss her on the lips for five seconds. Whatever she wanted to watch on TV if she would just ‘relax on me.’ Basically, anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl I was trying… What I really wanted, beyond affection, was to feel that she needed me, that she was helpless without her big sister leading her through the world. I took a perverse pleasure in delivering bad news to her – the death of our grandfather, a fire across the street – hoping that her fear would drive her into my arms, would make her trust me.

Can you imagine if Ivanka Trump or Bristol Palin had written that? What the media would have said?

While Dunham has apologized for offending anyone, and the media have generally said that the above quote shows nothing that should bother anyone, the reality is that neither she nor the MSM nor the Democratic Party apparently realizes it’s not okay to use sexual predator tactics on a sister.

Apparently, feminist unity doesn’t apply to one’s biological sisters.

To most sane people, it would appear that Dunham was waging her very own war on women. Yet the Democrats have asked her to speak at their convention.

      What were the Democrats thinking?

What they always think but are unwilling to generally admit to: They don’t care about morality or ethics – all that matters is power.

Dunham is successful and a big fan of Hillary, so by definition she’s okay. Of course, the Democrats know that the media won’t even mention Dunham’s child-abusing history or her lack of true repentance for her past actions; that sort of coverage is reserved for attacking Trump’s wife’s speechwriter. Hence, there’s minimal risk of bad optics when a self-admitted user of sexual predator tactics against her own sister endorses Hillary.

The whole saga stinks and if only a fraction of what allegedly happened with either Clinton happened with say Trump (or to us locals here in Australia, with say Abbott) the pressure by the left would be so severe there would be violent riots in the streets if the alleged perpetrator was not arrested and charged within a few days of the news being released (because we all know how the left are a violent mob). This is all making be sick, and we have to put up with all this crap for possibly a year regardless of who wins. America is dying a slow death, one that could have been avoided if the mainstream media did their job properly instead of acting like a propaganda machine for one side of the political spectrum, namely the socialist left. I thought America stood up against socialism and communism. How wrong I’ve been. Sick, sick, sick. The American mainstream media have acted like traitors to their own country, or at least to a country that once existed. Now we have to rely on a Trump victory at least to slow down this insidious decay in a once great nation.

CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.

ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney

ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama’s Deputy Press Secretary

ABC President Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama’s Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood

CNN President Virginia Moseley is married to former Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Secretary Tom Nides.

GEE, Ya think there might be a little bias in the news?

On top of that Clinton Foundation donors include dozens of media organizations and individuals. About 98% of our US media. Even NewsMax and Fox are included only Brietbart is left out. No wonder that is the news organization Hillary attacked.

Aside from the US law I cited above there is another law Hillary and her buddies (including her lawyers) trampled.

    Sarbanes-Oxley Act Email Retention Policies

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act was created in 2002 in response to highly publicized court trials of large corporations who participated in fraudulent financial reporting and suspect business practices which included allegations of document altering and destruction during legal proceedings.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act, also known as SOX, is governed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and enacts legislation that not only affects the financial side of corporations but also mandates rules for document retention and storage of electronic records including email.

It is within Section 802 that the commission address document tampering, length of document retention and describes the types of documents that must be retained and the consequences of non compliance. Sarbanes Oxley email retention policy guidelines are stated in in Sec 802(a)(1) and 802(a)(2) .

    Record Tampering
In Sec. 802(a) it states that whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

As expected, it is illegal to do what Hilary and team did, use as Newt Gringrich said, an expensive piece of software to delete all traces of activity. Indictable in its own right and complete confirmation that there was something to hide. Now we might get a glimpse of some of the things hidden.

Does Hilary really want to know what the FBI has? Or does she already know? Or is there so much, it is just a question of which criminal activity is being investigated.

I saw this somewhere but now can’t find it.
Is it correct to say that a President isn’t subject to prosecution once inaugurated and that the FBI investigation would just halt?

I found some info here though.

So the President is above the law? I doubt that but if that’s true then it’s no wonder America is heading for a crash and burn scenario.

No – the President can be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors (US spelling). Groping a 13 year old (or whatever Trump is supposed to have done) doesn’t qualify as a high crime… but corruption, bribery, suborning an illegal act by an official etc do. Clinton (No1) wasn’t impeached for not having sex with that woman, but for lying about not having sex with her.

If Clinton were elected, and I were a Senator ill-disposed to her (as who would not be) I would move for impeachment in the Senate to allow the trial to occur in the House of Reps. Unprecedented – yes, unconstitutional – prove it!

There would still be a high bar to conviction (a two-thirds majority) but the reps would face re-election a lot sooner than any senators who voted to acquit. Impeachment by a simple majority of the Senate would carry a lot more opprobrium than impeachment by the Reps.

“the US Constitution specifically denies the right of the President to grant pardons in the case of impeachment.”

I don’t think so. Clinton effectively pardoned himself after he was impeached.

And yes, POTUS is above the laws applied to ordinary citizens in many respects, or more precisely, the Executive branch is, as is Congress. But then again, their members are subject to laws that ordinary citizens are not, for example, accepting gifts for doing business.

          Author: Clark D. Cunningham
          W. Lee Burge Chair in Law & Ethics; Director, National Institute for Teaching Ethics & Professionalism, Georgia State University

The FBI apparently seized a laptop from Weiner on which more than 1,000 emails belonging to his estranged wife, Huma Abedin, had been backed up

Apparently there are about 650,000 emails to sort through which seem to pertain her time as Secretary of State. I am not sure how the author determines that 1000 email belong to Huma Abedin.

          Now my questions are this:
Does Huma own her own emails?
Does she own emails that she might have copied from Hiliary and /or the State Department in her file called “Life Insurance”?
          Is Professor Lee Burge legitimate?
          Is he barracking for Hiliary?

Barracking. Evidence that is discovered when serving a legal warrant on a different crime is still admissible in court as long as the vehicle of the unveiling was not in the employ of law enforcement at the time of discovery.

In other words, as long as Weiner is not on the payroll, it is legit, regardless of the ownership.

AWU slush fund investigation by Victoria Police and Western Australia Police fraud squads have been underway for around three years to date, the Trade Union Royal Commission took some evidence from various witnesses relating to the slush fund, but so far nobody has been prosecuted. Evidence already in the public domain indicates that a cover up has been taking place for close to twenty years. A solicitor and later politician was dismissed by a legal firm for being involved in the slush fund and was immediately employed as a staffer to a premier of Victoria before later successfully standing for a federal electorate seat and rising to lead the Labor Party.

The same former politician arranged for donations to the Clinton Foundation and related Education Fund for which she is now chair person on the board.

As reported here another female politician from the Liberal Party has been involved in donations to the Clinton Foundation.

These matters must be dealt with, how can Australians have faith in their legal system and governments while these matters remain hanging?

30 Oct: The Hill: Ex-FBI official: Clintons are a ‘crime family’
    by Harper Neidig
A former FBI official said Sunday that Bill and Hillary Clinton are part of a “crime family” and argued top officials hindered the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was secretary of State.
During a radio interview with John Catsimatidis, former assistant FBI director James Kallstrom heaped praise on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump before taking aim at the Clintons…
“The Clintons, that’s a crime family, basically,” Kallstrom said. “It’s like organized crime. I mean the Clinton Foundation is a cesspool.”
He also blasted Attorney General Loretta Lynch, claiming that she impeded the investigation into Clinton’s private server.
“The problem here is this investigation was never a real investigation,” he said. “That’s the problem. They never had a grand jury empanelled, and the reason they never had a grand jury empanelled, I’m sure, is Loretta Lynch would not go along with that.”
“God forbid we put someone like that in the White House” he said.
“The (FBI) agents are furious with what’s going on, I know that for a fact,” he said.

1 Nov: UK Daily Mail: Are you ORDERING me to keep new Clinton email bombshell SECRET? How FBI boss called attorney-general’s bluff before revealing Weiner breakthrough
On Thursday Comey’s aides told Lynch of plan to tell Congress about existence of trove of new emails
Lynch made clear that she thought his decision violated department policy, source tells Reuters
But then Comey challenged whether he was being ‘explicitly directed’ not to inform Congress – and Lynch never gave such an order
by Reuters & Daily Mail reporter
The development was revealed by the news agency (Reuters) hours after the White House went out of its way to back Comey as a man of ‘integrity’ and rubbish Hillary Clinton’s attack on him…
Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik told several members of Congress in letters on Monday that the Justice Department was dedicating ‘all necessary resources’ to work with the FBI on its examination of the newly discovered emails ‘as expeditiously as possible.’
However, an official familiar with the FBI review said investigators could not predict how long the examination would take…ETC

The actual percentage of money that goes to charity is highly disputed. And while charity rating agencies raised big concerns over the years, apparently a few of them have recently changed their minds and decided it’s suddenly all good. Rather than committee assessments (which we know can be whitewashed in the right circumstances) I would prefer to see photos, lists, reports of the transformations made by what apparently is an entity which has had $2 billion to spend. That kind of money ought to buy a lot of transforming.

A “green” power supplier accused of making misleading marketing claims in Illinois must provide hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions in rebates to former and current customers under a settlement with Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s office.
The settlement, finalized Aug. 8, also will require Washington, D.C.-based Ethical Electric to change its marketing practices to make clear that its customers aren’t getting their power exclusively from renewable sources like wind and solar, as its previous materials appeared to claim…
In September 2015, when Crain’s published a story on light state regulation of retail electricity suppliers that raised questions about Ethical, its three-month price was more than 30 percent higher than ComEd’s…
Among other things, the settlement requires Ethical to inform consumers that it is purchasing “renewable energy certificates” from wind farms and other qualifying clean-energy developers in order to describe itself as “green energy.” The electrons powering customers’ homes still will come from a mixture of power sources, including coal and nuclear…
Ethical was founded five years ago by Tom Mattzie, former Washington, D.C., director of progressive advocacy group ***MoveOn.org. The supplier operates in Illinois and seven other states, mostly in the East…

There’s an aspect of this scandal that illustrates one difference between the democrat and republican parties. When the original Watergate scandal broke, there were a few high-ranking republicans (I think members of the senate) who publicly said something like: “The issue is what did the President (Nixon) know, and when did he know it?” To the best of my knowledge, no senior democrat has voiced a similar thought–something like: “The issue is did Hillary put classified material on an unsecure computer network; and if so, when faced with exposure did she authorize illegal destruction of that material?” Does anyone have knowledge of a senior democrat who has publicly voiced an opinion that even remotely entertains the idea that Hillary might have behaved badly?

My reading from this observation is that, at least in the past, there were a few top-ranking republicans who put their country before their political party; but finding a top-ranking democrat with the same attribute is like finding a six-legged unicorn–they exist only in fairy tales and even there, they’re hard to find.

31 Oct: CNBC: Patti Domm: This stock market metric says the likely winner is…Trump
The stock market’s election year performance between July 31 and Oct. 31 has often accurately predicted the next president — and this year it’s pointing to a victory by Donald Trump, if history is a guide…
“Going back to World War II, the S&P 500 performance between July 31 and Oct. 31 has accurately predicted a challenger victory 86 percent of the time when the stock market performance has been negative,” he said…
The market had been concerned about the possibility that Democrats would take the House of Representatives, but on Monday, after new revelations about an FBI probe into emails of a Clinton staffer, those worries were pushed into the background…

31 Oct: Neil Munro: Breitbart: Early Voting Data Shows African American Turnout Dropping
A blizzard of early reports show that by early voting by pro-Democratic African Americans has dropped significantly compared to 2012, giving a boost to Donald Trump’s prospects in critical swing-states, such as North Carolina and Ohio…
Nationally, “African-American enthusiasm has dipped compared with that in 2012,” according to the New York Times. That’s “a surprising and disquieting development for Democrats who believed Trump’s racial appeals and flirtations with the birther movement would generate more urgency,” the Times reported. For example, in the two Virginia districts with the largest percentage of African American adults, early voting has dropped by more than 50 percent, the Times said…
In Florida, “the bad news for Clinton/good news for Trump is that African-Americans and millenials are voting considerably lighter — so far – than four years ago,” the Tampa Bay Times reported Oct. 31…
The drop in African-American turnout is one of the few powerful pieces of data to emerge from election oversight offices in the states…

    something not many people know:

3 Oct 2015: Politico: Illegal Immigrants Could Elect Hillary
How noncitizens decrease Republican chances of winning the White House next year.
By Paul Goldman and Mark J. Rozell
(Paul Goldman writes a weekly column on politics for the Washington Post. Mark J. Rozell is acting dean of the School of Policy, Government, and International Affairs at George Mason University)
Illegal immigrants—along with other noncitizens without the right to vote—may pick the 2016 presidential winner. Thanks to the unique math undergirding the Electoral College, the mere presence of 11-12 million illegal immigrants and other noncitizens here legally may enable them to swing the election from Republicans to Democrats. ..
The distribution of these 435 seats is not static: they are reapportioned every ten years to reflect the population changes found in the census. That reallocation math is based on the relative “whole number of persons in each state,” as the formulation in the 14th Amendment has it. When this language was inserted into the U.S. Constitution, the concept of an “illegal immigrant,” as the term is defined today, had no meaning. Thus the census counts illegal immigrants and other noncitizens equally with citizens. Since the census is used to determine the number of House seats apportioned to each state, those states with large populations of illegal immigrants and other noncitizens gain extra seats in the House at the expense of states with fewer such “whole number of persons.”
This math gives strongly Democratic states an unfair edge in the Electoral College. Using citizen-only population statistics, American University scholar Leonard Steinhorn projects California would lose five House seats and therefore five electoral votes. New York and Washington would lose one seat, and thus one electoral vote apiece. These three states, which have voted overwhelming for Democrats over the latest six presidential elections, would lose seven electoral votes altogether. The GOP’s path to victory, by contrast, depends on states that would lose a mere three electoral votes in total…
Though they can’t cast an actual ballot, we effectively allow noncitizens to have an indirect, and possibly decisive, say in choosing the President…
One electoral vote decided the 1876 presidential election. A swing of three electoral votes in 2000 would have elected Al Gore…

This is very true! However the problem with it, is that Obama and the democrats are settling them in all the states, especially the republican ones. So they may affect the election through illegal voting, but they are being proportionally distributed in most other states.

Reading the above articles about the Clinton Foundation, what have they offered to Australian politicians for donations of our monies?

We know one former PM is now a board member of the education “charity”.

Noting too that one in every eight Australians live in poverty, many thousands of young children are homeless. Obviously the politicians so far identified as participants in Clinton activities and associated money drains couldn’t care about the suffering of Australians.

funny – comment #56 I posted WikiLeaks exchange between CNN’s Paul Begala, MoveOn’s Matzzie & Podesta, etc.
here’s the “progressive” Begala Monday (US time):

31 Oct: Breitbart: Ian Hanchett: Paul Begala (CNN): Communities of Color Say Police Biased Against Them, Now Hillary Can Claim Comey Has Been Unfair to Her
On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Paul Begala, Senior Adviser to a pro-Clinton superPAC stated that Clinton could use the recent revelations around her emails to rally her base because “when you’re talking to communities of color, who for years have been telling us law enforcement is biased against us, and now here’s one of the most powerful people in the country, looks like she can make a claim that at least the FBI Director has been unfair to her too.”…
He continued, “She’s got to answer it, right? And she’s been much more proactive about this than she was when Mike’s original story ran. … This time, she was very quick. she even answered questions from the press, her favorite thing to do.”
Begala further said that Clinton wants to “reassure college-educated white people. … But also fire up her base. You know, when you’re talking to communities of color, who for years have been telling us law enforcement is biased against us, and now here’s one of the most powerful people in the country, looks like she can make a claim that at least the FBI Director has been unfair to her too. There’s a way to rally your base about this.” …

The SMH is sourcing Mother Jones.

“A former senior Western intelligence operative, a specialist in Russian counterintelligence deemed credible in Washington, has provided the FBI with evidence that Trump ‘and his inner circle have accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin, including on Clinton, since Russian intelligence had compromised Trump during his visits to Moscow – so that he could be blackmailed’.

“The intelligence report, which the operative had provided to the FBI, reads: ‘Russian regime has been cultivating, supporting and assisting TRUMP for at least 5 years. Aim, endorsed by PUTIN, has been to encourage splits and divisions in western alliance’.

Trump has no business ties to Russia. He considered building there but decided not to. His campaign manager Paul Manafort reportedly had ties to pro-Russian politicians in Ukraine. (It is his job as a political consultant and they hired him.)

Hillary Clinton Said The “Saudis In Particular Are Not Necessarily The Stablest Regimes That You Can Find On The Planet.”

“So mutually assured destruction as we had with Europe in the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s until the fall of the Soviet Union is much harder to do with the gulf states and it will be unlikely to occur because they will think that they have to defend themselves. And they will get into the business of nuclear weapons, and these are—the Saudis in particular are not necessarily the stablest regimes that you can find on the planet. “And I want to be clear, Islam itself is not the adversary. The vast majority of Muslims living here in Canada and the United States are peaceful and tolerant people. We see that every day in our neighborhoods, among those with whom we go to school or work or trade. But we can’t close our eyes to the fact that there is a distorted and dangerous strain of extremism within the Muslim world that continues to spread.” [Hillary Clinton Remarks for tinePublic – Saskatoon, Canada, 1/21/14]

Clinton Discussed Lack Of Institutions In Libya After Gaddafi’s Fall.
“Now, you know, in Libya, the United Nations voted how to protect civilians. And the coalition that was put together was unprecedented. It was NATO plus the Arab League. That had never happened before. The over flights, the boat, air, sea and land efforts included Arab nations as well as Europeans, Canadians and Americans. Khadafy was told but then, you know, the lid was taken off. You have a country that had been under the thumb of Khadafy and his henchmen for 42 years. All institutions were destroyed. There was not even a military because he didn’t trust anybody since he had been a Colonel who had done a coup, so he had mercenaries, there were African mercenaries and some European mercenaries that were in his direct pay. They had really just conducted themselves as if the entire Libyan oil fortune was personally theirs.” [Clinton Remarks At Boston Consulting Group, 6/20/13]

Clinton Said Libya Could Not Provide Security
“As We Found Much To, You Know, Our Terrible Experience In Benghazi.” “So what happened? Well, Khadafy is gone. They start to organize. They had one of the best elections that any of these new countries had. They did not elect extremists. They had a very good outcome of people representing the various factions, but they didn’t, they don’t have a military. They can’t provide security as we found much to, you know, our terrible experience in Benghazi, but we see it all over the country. So the jury is out but it is not for lack of trying by the people who have inherited the positions of responsibility.” [Clinton Remarks At Boston Consulting Group, 6/20/13]

Now Hillary and the Clinton Machine DO have Russian Connections!

Clinton Family Foundation Received Millions In Undisclosed Russian Contributions During Uranium Mineral Deal…

the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth [20%] of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton….

(Some think this is what the BLM driving ranchers off their land was all about. Hillary sold their mineral rights out from under them.)

John Podesta is head of Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

The revelations of the so-called Panama Papers that are roiling the world’s political and financial elites this week include important facts about Team Clinton. This unprecedented trove of documents purloined from a shady Panama law firm that arranged tax havens, and perhaps money laundering, for the globe’s super-rich includes juicy insights into how Russia’s elite hides its ill-gotten wealth.

Almost lost among the many revelations is the fact that Russia’s biggest bank uses The Podesta Group as its lobbyist in Washington, D.C. Though hardly a household name, this firm is well known inside the Beltway, not least because its CEO is Tony Podesta, one of the best-connected Democratic machers in the country. He founded the firm in 1998 with his brother John, formerly chief of staff to President Bill Clinton, then counselor to President Barack Obama, Mr. Podesta is the very definition of a Democratic insider. Outsiders engage the Podestas and their well-connected lobbying firm to improve their image and get access to Democratic bigwigs.

Which is exactly what Sberbank, Russia’s biggest financial institution, did this spring….

of course, there is no link at all, but at least NYT goes some way to quashing the ridiculous accusations.

The Reddit kids found a good one.
    Wtf?? lol Illegal Human experiments..

John Podesta, Hillarys campaign manager who was also Bill Clinton’s chief of staff and “one of President Obama’s closest White House advisers, counts among his key financial supporters Hansjorg Wyss, a reclusive Swiss billionaire whose company conducted illegal human experiments that resulted in the deaths of three elderly patients.”

The HJW Foundation, which is Wyss’s private foundation, hired Podesta in 2013 as a paid consultant, for which he was paid $87,000 that year, according to the presidential counselor’s financial disclosure statement. … Wyss and other Synthes executives decided to enter the highly profitable field of spinal surgery in 2000 with Norian XR, a cement-like mixture of calcium phosphate with barium sulfate.

Company managers claimed the compound could act like bone when injected in the spine in a procedure called “vertebrosplasty….

Wyss was not named in the indictment but was referred to as “Person No. 7” and the “CEO and a major stockholder of Synthes.” Wyss was CEO and major stockholder at the time of the indictment and the experiments.

Wyss, who now lives in Wyoming, is a major donor to scores of liberal groups in this country, with his contributions estimated to total more than $110 million, according to the HJW Foundation’s tax filings with the IRS since 2008….

This is definitely a blockbuster, and even the pro-Clinton MSM are now forced to cover this mammoth stinking pile of manure.

This scandal will also embroil the Obama’s long after they leave the white house, especially if Trump wins or contests a rigged election. I have no sympathy at all for the Obama’s after what they did with the IRS and the TeaParty movement. This administration has been just as crooked as anything which was going on at the Clinton Foundation.

Hillary served as Sec. State for 4 years in this administration, and Obama (bobama email account) was secretly emailing her and knowingly patronizing the private server of her racketeering operation. He knew everything that was going on with Clinton, and allowed it to occur, even though these families privately hate each other; meaning that the Clinton’s must have some serious dirt on the Obama’s in order for him to allow her criminal franchise to continue in the most important and far reaching Cabinet position. Barack’s and Hillary’s mutual Chicago origins is where this REAL dirt is to be found (imo).

Regardless of who ‘wins’ this election, it is pretty clear that this is bigger than Watergate … in fact, it should probably be called WATERSHED 2016, because if the Democrats remain in office, they will not control the Senate and there will be 4 years of the most bitter political mudslinging in world political history (already in ‘big league’ territory; pardon the Trump meme) … and if Trump wins, he will not politically be able to stay criminal prosecution of the Clinton’s, their cronies, and the inevitable backwash over the Obama’s.

This means that a Trump Republican Presidency will be bringing down the entire Democratic Establishment, including the first black President, and there is an old saying: “An animal is most dangerous when it is wounded and cornered”. What will the Obama’s and Clinton’s (with a little help from the Bush family?) do to ensure Trump doesn’t get this opportunity? Democratic Establishment dirty tricks history would suggest that ANYTHING is possible – and LIKELY – including an attempt on Donald Trump’s life.

When people like Doug Band start coming clean about writing highly incriminating memo’s to Bill Clinton about 500+ conflicts of interest, you have to admit the goose is cooked. Doug Band was the architect of the Clinton Foundation, and Bill Clinton’s top aide for 15+ years for goodness sake. Doug Band’s brother Roger Band STILL serves as Bill Clinton’s personal physician on overseas trips, proving how close to Bill and Hillary this unwinding has now penetrated.

As they say: “The cover-up is always worse than the crime” … in this case, MUCH BIGGER !!! The Democrats have become toxic.

“it is pretty clear that this is bigger than Watergate”

I think this is why Comey reopened the case. He know that if he did so, he was compelled to notify Congress, which he could do without otherwise violating law or convention in order to avoid being found in contempt of Congress. There can be little doubt that there’s much more incriminating evidence known by the FBI, but hidden from the public. It looks like Comey’s sense of right and wrong got the better of him and he did what he had to in order to keep the country facing the inevitable Constitutional crisis if Clinton wins. I hope it works since America will be much better off with a leader that only half the country hates, rather than with leader that the whole country knows is corrupt.

“Yet, I’m reminded that the failure of all politics is, ultimately, the failure of our own collective character. The same people who are “always right” on election night, the Bible (more honestly) describes as always wrong — or, at least, routinely sinful. Hence, except by an intervention of Divine grace, voters always get what we rightly deserve.”

Come now Gail Combs … we all know that Putin is responsible for all of these woes. Putin made her setup that server, take millions of dollars from states who were enemies of Putin, and Putin also probably inserted seedy thoughts into Anthony Weiner’s brain using some spooky KGB mind ray technology.

What is more pathetic than the Clinton’s and the DNC’s corruption and criminality, is the utterly pathetic excuses they have tried to make all along as more and more truth bombs have exploded over their heads. That last WikiLeaks memo from Doug Band about Teneo was the equivalent of a one megatonne thermonuclear explosive air-blasting directly over Hillary and Bill’s heads, and the trigger was when Band came out directly after and confirmed within one day that “Yep. I wrote that memo. Bill read the memo. The memo outlines the racket operation. It’s legit!” … BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Julian Assange will go down in history as the most influential Australian who ever lived. He hands down wins this contest already in my opinion. Imagine a single person acting as a celebrity vector to change the course of history of the most powerful nation on earth, just when the Democratic machine thought it had entirely conquered the Electoral College dynamic with imported voters, demographic engineering and scientific balkanization, not to mention down right industrial election rigging and hired brown-shirt intimidation squads.

The economy is going over a cliff, the only question is when. Yellen is propping it up until Obama is gone. Obama learned early how to cook the books, so there has not been any honest numbers since 2010. If Hillary is elected, they will draw it out another couple of years. If Trump, expect the plug to be pulled on January 20.

The significance of the Russian carrier is simple. Nature abhors a vacuum. Obama created a power vacuum. Putin stepped in.
