Even as Elon Musk rescues astronauts abandoned in space, activists set fire to random Tesla’s.
Are these the same people who think we should ban gas stoves to save the world?
We are not the same. pic.twitter.com/2oiMDRGJd6

It’s possible some indoctrinated teens want to save the world from fascists — or maybe the Blob strikes back — I mean, we have to ask who benefits from the circus distraction of anti-Musk confected hate? Obviously the millionaires in Congress with their hand in the jar benefit from a decoy story. “Look, a squirrel”! Those with something to hide would like it if Musk can be bullied, coerced or harassed into leaving DOGE alone. There might be some very nervous people in the Halls of Power who are afraid he’ll get the code crackers into the FBI and find the Epstein files, or the grants they arranged for their girlfriend. There may even be foreign interests who don’t want their web of influence and schemes exposed.
Elon Musk speaking on Hannity, Fox News talks
“I always thought that democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy and caring and yet they are burning down cars, Firebombing dealerships. Firing bullets into dealerships. Smashing up the Tesla’s. Tesla is a peaceful company. We’ve never done anything harmful. Only done productive things.
I think we just have a deranged — there is some kind of mental illness going on because this doesn’t make any sense. I think there are larger forces at work. Who is funding and who’s coordinating it — because this is crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Quite a few Australians may have missed this, especially if they watch the ABC.
There are so many ways it could have gone badly wrong yesterday:
Musk on how he built Space X — is disarmingly self deprecating:
Musk: In the beginning we didn’t actually know anything about rockets. The first three missions failed … and we almost ran out of money and just barely made it with the fourth launch. If it didn’t succeed we would’ve failed as a company. I was not a very good chief Engineer in the beginning but i did learn over time and i think we’ve gotten at this point to where it’s very reliable and we are going to be able to take astronauts to mars. We want to take anyone who wants to go to Mars and ultimately build a self-sustaining civilization on Mars.
On all the things that could have gone wrong:
When i see the rocket i see a list of all the things that are wrong and all the ways it could go wrong and potentially fail. The dragon could fail separate from the rocket. There could be an engine failure on the spacecraft itself. When it’s coming back it’s coming in so fast it’s a blazing meteor and if anything happens to the heat shield, the whole craft is going to incinerate. It’s remarkable that humans can actually go all the way to orbit and come back from orbit given the immense amounts of energy that is required to get to orbit. And the amount of energy that must be dissipated on — upon return. It all has to work.
Even though he is a numbers nerd, Musk is a master statesman at persuading people to come with him. He wouldn’t be a supremely successful businessman if he wasn’t:
Musk — The cost of our debt has gotten so high that just the interest payments on the debt exceed the Entire military budget…
So the country is going bankrupt. If a country over-spends and doesn’t spend wisely — just like a person, a country will go bankrupt. The reason I’m here is because I’m very worried about America going bankrupt due to the corruption and waste. If we don’t do something the ship of America is going to sink. We are all on that ship.
This might be a message to people out there who are wealthy and have a lot of means or control companies. Just remember we are all in Ship America here. Your company is not going to exist if the Ship of America sinks.
I admire Musk, but I wouldn’t buy an EV and I’m not sure about his Mars fantasy either.
I think he should concentrate on satellites for the immediate future and I’m sure AI etc will change his business model in the future.
70
Actually, if the ECDO theory (read all about it on the Ethical Sceptics blog, especially in light of the increasing geological evidence supporting it) is true, then Elons urgency in going to Mars is warranted, and he absolutely won’t deviate from that goal.
Satellites, at this point, are a just a growing cash cow enabling the development of new rockets, and the cheap mass to orbit of Starship is going to have some really amazing knock on effects
11
Truly remarkable.

For weeks, there have been multiple incidents of domestic terrorism against Tesla. Dealerships and repair shops have been targeted, with Molotov cocktails being used this time. These aren’t isolated incidents. Attorney General Pam Bondi suspects they’re well-funded, coordinated attacks on the company and its customers. It’s an explicit attempt to attack Elon Musk.
“We are coming after you,” said the attorney general to Fox News’ Will Cain. “It will not be tolerated.”
Ms. Bondi also torched the district judge who tried to usurp power on immigration policy. James Boasberg issued an unlawful ruling, invalidating the Trump administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to expedite the deportation of foreign terrorists. It is related to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. This clown even tried to order the deportation flights to be returned to the US, but they were already over international waters. The attorney general was clear that this little judge lacked the authority to oversee any of these matters.

It’s amazing that the Lamestream Media didn’t credit Musk with the ISS astronaut rescue. Those astronauts, Williams and Wilmore were meant to be there 8 days but ended up being there over 9 months.
They were “lost in space” because the woke DEI company Boeing Starliner capsule which was docked with the ISS had various problems rendering it unsafe for a crew return. Elon Musk early on offered a rescue mission with the Crew Dragon capsule but the Biden Maladministration refused the offered, preferring to leave the astronauts stranded because they wanted to deny Elon Musk a successful rescue mission.

In general terms the left is controlling, corrosive and destructive in society.
Tesla burning, peaceful but firey riots, extinction rebellion stupidity, grid destruction, demolishing working power plants, no dam construction, COVID response, nett zero, DEI, men in womens sport, obstructive lawfare, destroying the credibility of science, destroying the relevance of Universities, the Climate scam, continually creating divisions and classes in society and fostering conflict. Historically in Australia the left has degraded the economy and society whenever put in power and the the cycle turns, people wake up, and the right is putvin to rebuild until the next lot of naive voters buys into the sort of BS Albanese and Bowen spew out every day, or isvpromised enough short term free stuff.

Even though I am not a fan of the Virtue Signallers and their cars, I am a fan of Elon and think he is all guts.
160
USS Titanic looking for an iceberg to blame. You can bet your life that Australia is in the same debt ridden leaky boat with egregious overspending by Politicians making things 10 times worse. Net Zero is an absolute failure as is the excuse of climate change to justify it!
40
Not sure why Musk is surprised at the behaviour of the left.
Organisations supporting and supported by the Democrats include the KKK, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, the Occupy Movement and many others.
110
It’s amazing how the Left continuously rewrite history to their own nefarious ends.
Here is an excellent five minute video “The Inconvenient Truth About the Democratic Party”.
https://youtu.be/g_a7dQXilCo
Even today you can see how the Left in America want to keep black people permanently impoverished as Democrat voter slaves rather than plantation slaves. The Democrats, at their core, are fundamentally racist.

As for those who criticise SpaceX for various failures of Starship and Super Heavy, an important part of Musk’s engineering philosophy is to learn from every failure and to never, ever give up.
He is already doing what was thought to be impossible by “experts” the propulsive return of the Falcon 9 and Super Heavy boosters.
Falcon 9 is also qualified for human use.
And why do propulsive return and not parachutes like the Shuttle boosters?
The Space Shuttle solid boosters were jettisoned at relatively low altitude and speed whereas the SpaceX boosters are not jettisoned until near orbital velocity. The speed and energy involved preclude a parachute recovery.
Musk is now landing these reusable boosters in a manner which was only conceived of in science fiction of the early twentieth century.
And the boosters are economically reusable. Unlike the Space Shuttle which was refurbishable and cost about as much to refurbish between flights as building a new one. From a cost point of view it was a disaster.
Musk’s vision is to have a fleet of rockets with a turn around time the same as aircraft. He also wants a fleet of 1000 Starship’s continuously running 100 to 150 tonnes of cargo and/or passengers into earth orbit, the moon or Mars.
Musk has already dramatically decreased the cost of delivering cargo to Space and Falcon 9 launches cost much less per kg than the Proton (Russia), Long March (China), Ariane 5G (Europe) or ULA Delta IV (USA).
The jealously of the Left and their hatred of freedom and progress is a horrible thing.

Just as I think we have hit peak stupid , someone raises the bar again . When the election was coming rioting was predicted if Trump won and its starting . The deep state has been in shock due to the speed of developments , but is now acting . The USA has two choices : pull together or crash and burn .

I am enraged at the lack lustre MSM coverage of the rescue Musk’s Starship performed yesterday! This was an amazing feat performed flawlessly. The fact that the Biden regime declined to accept Musk’s offer several months ago should also have been front page news but the only thing MSM can, negatively, observe is the DOGE effect that the Trump/Musk machine is having on the Democrats.

It’s the old rule Penguinite – “good news never sold a newspaper”.

I’ve owned over a dozen dual cab Australian style utes ( pick up trucks for our American friends) in my lifetime. But I still think those US style RAM/Silverado/F150 style “trucks” are a bit over the top. But if you want to purchase and drive one, go right ahead- it’s still a free world. Feel the same about Teslas and I see a lot of very happy Tesla drivers out there. EV’s definitely have a niche market here in Australia, just don’t force us to buy them. I signed up to PayPal decades ago, because it was just so convenient (Elon Musk 1st business venture) and for a year now have been using Starlink. He changed Twitter to X and that platform is SO much better these days, it’s not funny. Elon is a serious genius. Maybe not so much at engineering ( he admits that himself) but at marketing and business logistics. But there seems also to be a bit of a response to all the anti Tesla/ Musk stuff. Just lately I’ve seen many videos (on X, of course) of people purchasing Teslas, who would never have done so in the past.
100
Nothing over the top with a Ram. I have one of the first re-engineered Ram 1500s. Its fuel economy is superior to my BT50, also a fabulous vehicle, and as a hauler of heavy caravans and trailers it can’t be beaten. It is wider, admittedly, and a bit longer, but really is is not that much bigger. The 2 metre long cargo area is magic.
20
If I was towing big trailers or even caravans to a significant degree, I’d purchase one in a heartbeat. Having towed caravans and driven some smaller trucks in the past, there’s nothing like having the tow vehicle that much longer.
00
The left is at it again with their well funded protests (thanks USAID) and unhinged behaviour, they are like the Borg comply or else. Elon has shown how corrupt the US government is and the ones with their hands in the cookie jar are not happy that their free money spigot has been turned down, they have proven time and time again the old labor saying of whatever it takes was never a truer word spoken.
Would I have an electric vehicle? No because where I live despite what bowen says it is not a viable option, electric moto cycle to check the farm? Yes, but I can now use a drone as well in addition, plus due to Elons Starlink I can monitor my whole property………..not long ago that was unheard of. FWIW I live totally off grid with a solar system that I paid for but I still have a petrol generator for back up, funny that eh?

In case you are wondering, Lehmann, the Australian founder of the online magazine Quillette, has always been pretty far left, but she hasn’t always been batpoop crazy. In 2019, when Antifa thugs targeted and assaulted journalist Andy Ngo, who worked for Quillette, sending him to the hospital, Lehmann vigorously defended him against the left who was cheering on the beating he received.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/03/19/trump-haters-launch-dogequest-site-targeting-tesla-owners-in-fear-campaign/
Leftist Trump haters intent on attacking the president and Elon Musk’s Tesla have launched the “DOGEQUEST” website targeting the owners of Tesla EVs. The website includes the personal details of Tesla owners across the country and features a molotov cocktail cursor icon. The clear implication is that Tesla owners will be the next target of domestic terrorism rapidly escalating across the country.
404 Media reports that a website titled “DOGEQUEST” has published on a searchable map the alleged names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of Tesla owners throughout the United States. The site claims it will remove an individual’s data if they can prove they have sold their Tesla vehicle. In addition to the personal information of alleged Tesla owners, the map also includes the locations of Tesla dealerships, supercharger stations, and even employees of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) headed by Elon Musk.
While the accuracy of all the data posted on DOGEQUEST remains unclear, 404 Media has been able to verify that at least some of the individuals listed are indeed Tesla owners or supporters of the company and Musk. The website’s creators claim they utilized “cutting-edge artificial intelligence algorithms” to compile the information, though the specific data sources have not been disclosed.
The emergence of DOGEQUEST comes amidst a backdrop of escalating protests and acts of terrorism against Tesla. Weekly “Tesla Takedown” demonstrations have been taking place nationwide, with reports of vandalism and arson attacks targeting Tesla dealerships, vehicles, and superchargers. Tesla’s stock price has plummeted 50 percent since December, with a nearly 5 percent drop on Monday alone. President Trump has responded by labeling violence against Tesla dealerships as domestic terrorism.
The website also makes references to “empowering creative expressions of protest.” However, the site’s cursor is notably a molotov cocktail, and it suggests spray painting Teslas as an artistic form of protest that can be done “from the comfort of your own home.” The molotov cocktail icon is a reference to firebombing being the most common form of attack on Tesla cars and facilities in recent weeks.
The inclusion of individuals’ personal information on the site has raised serious privacy and safety concerns. One verified Tesla owner, who purchased their vehicle in 2013 before Musk’s controversies came to light, expressed feeling “very worried” about being doxed. As a victim of previous online harassment campaigns, they fear the website poses a physical threat to themselves and their family, despite disagreeing with Musk’s actions.
DOGEQUEST’s email address for removal requests has gone unanswered, while Tesla has not responded to inquiries for comment from 404 Media.

The leftists who launched the “DOGEQUEST” website are in line for a really long gaol term.
If somebody gets injured or killed during an attack on a vehicle they can say goodbye for a long time.
Here’s an AI overview of “doxxing”
Doxxing itself isn’t inherently illegal in the US, especially if the information shared is already public, but the way it’s used can lead to criminal or civil liability if it involves threats, stalking, or harassment.

Left likes their meals served on a silver platter. Once full they offer no gratitude.
Elon’s vilification is not a good look at all.
However if anyone else was capable, and put into the position that Elon is in, would be vilified just the same. It is just how left works.
30
The Left destroy things because they don’t want anybody else having or enjoying them. The definition of the Left in three words: politics of envy.
00
A Democrat ode.
Schadenfreude,
never go anywhere without it.
Wear it like an old coat that
keeps on keeping on.
Never forget your victim hood
Enclose yourself within the
whole covering, resentment,
envy and that victim hood.
00
Exactly! Which is why 4 years of Trump reforms and cuts can’t scratch the surface of the problem, given that interest alone offsets reforms gains.
It took almost a century to get here.
Which is why…2032…Duh! for those who still don’t get it.
The US was at 19% in 1929 just before the great crash, climbing steadily thereafter until it hit 100% debt to GDP just before the end of WW2, steadily dropping way back down to 31% in 1981 (Reagan era).
After that is climbed steadily again hitting 100% in 2013, climbing again to today.
Default and it takes down the entire global economy.

There is only one thing I’m disappointed about regarding the viewership of this website and it is our low uptake of Tesla cars. We really need to be supporting Musk who is selflessly helping us. It’s heart-breaking watching Tesla stock fall and even worse seeing Musk’s paper net worth fall. This man is sacrificing everything for us so why can’t we finance a few Teslas to help him out? There are plenty of great financing options and getting more than one Tesla per household is totally reasonable.
I know for a fact that there are users of this site that won’t let go of their 70 series Landcruiser because of woke mind virus misinformation. The fact of the matter is that Tesla’s easily run for over one million miles (as stated in Tesla marketing) and they’re a great store of value. Buy a couple of Teslas today and then just flip them for 5 times their value in 10 years time. Nothing beats their build quality and stunning beauty. Musk invented EVs and lithium ion batteries at the end of the day – he knows how to build a good car! C’mon, everyone. Let’s do this for Musk.
00
Or, if you can, get Starlink. That’s the other way to support him. No leftie vandals are taking out a satellite.
00
What the Left hate most about Musk tells you everything you need to know about them. They hate all of his activities in the following areas.
1) He believes in free speech and even risked his fortune paying a high price to acquire Twitter to turn it into a free speech platform. (Free speech.)
2) He is saving the US taxpayer a fortune by discovering and eliminating US Government waste and grifting by parasites. (Prevention of grifting and parasitism.)
3) He is progressing humanity by lowering the cost of access to space. (The Left want us to live with a Medieval or less standard of living and technology.)
4) He is providing global affordable internet access via Starlink which can also support the first objective. (Free speech and access to information.)
5) He made affordable and practical EVs for those that want them. (The Left have always hated affordable universal individual mobility.)
20
Most of page 11 in the Melbourne Herald Sun about the returning astronauts, rescued by Musk and Trump. One line for Musk. He offered congratulations.Nothing for Trump.
It was all a NASA operation and things went ‘as planned’. Except NASA planned to leave them there forever. Without Musk’s help as a private citizen, the astronauts were trapped and they were there for 8 months not 8 days. So no public credit to the people who saved them.
If that had been Chilean miners trapped for eight months, the world’s press would have been there and all the rescuers would have been heroes. TDS has become MDS as well. And the world’s press are a big part of it.

Wow!
Am I surprised though? No.
