Extraordinary. Four years ago a crowd armed with flags and a helmet with horns was taking part in the greatest fake insurrection that never was. But today, Kamala certified Donald Trump’s win. Justin Trudeau announced his resignation as Prime Minister of Canada and Elon Musk is publicly tearing strips off the Prime Minister of the UK.
Twitter — X — is alive in a pile-on that has been building for a few days and is now breaking out into the real world. Finally, the worst depravity, the moral plague that infects the UK bureaucracy at every level, is being exposed. And even Keir Starmer is in the cross-hairs. He was director of the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008 – 2013. He secured some of these “token” prosecutions, but many cases were dropped, even with DNA evidence.
It is as if years of corruption and a fake media are starting to unravel. In a testament to free speech, Musk has achieved more in a few tweets than twenty years of media investigation in the UK. Starmer has finally had to answer Musk in a press conference, and dismisses demands for a full inquiry as “jumping on the bandwagon of the “Far Right”. As if only the “far right” could get a bit jumpy about rape gangs attacking teenage girls. Musk, the richest man in the world, and the incoming US presidents right-hand man, replied that Starmer is “utterly despicable”.
The Blob is coming after Musk. President Macron has accused Musk of interfering in foreign elections, to which Musk replied “Oh, like that time Starmer called @realDonaldTrump a racist and said the British government should do everything to stop him?”
The Biggest Peacetime Crime—and Cover-up—in British History
By Dominic Green, The Free Press
The serial rape of thousands of English girls went on for many years. Few in power cared. Then Elon Musk started tweeting.
LONDON — The grooming and serial rape of thousands of English girls by men of mostly Pakistani Muslim background over several decades is the biggest peacetime crime in the history of modern Europe. It went on for many years. It is still going on. And there has been no justice for the vast majority of the victims.
British governments, both Conservative and Labour, hoped that they had buried the story after a few symbolic prosecutions in the 2010s. And it looked like they had succeeded—until Elon Musk read some of the court papers and tweeted his disgust and bafflement on X over the new year.
Britain now stands shamed before the world.
The scandal is already reshaping British politics. It’s not just about the heinous nature of the crimes. It’s that every level of the British system is implicated in the cover-up.
Social workers were intimidated into silence. Local police ignored, excused, and even abetted pedophile rapists across dozens of cities. Senior police and Home Office officials deliberately avoided action in the name of maintaining what they called “community relations.” Local councilors and Members of Parliament rejected pleas for help from the parents of raped children. Charities, NGOs, and Labour MPs accused those who discussed the scandal of racism and Islamophobia. The media mostly ignored or downplayed the biggest story of their lifetimes. Zealous in their incuriosity, much of Britain’s media elite remained barnacled to the bubble of Westminster politics and its self-serving priorities.
They did this to defend a failed model of multiculturalism, and to avoid asking hard questions about failures of immigration policy and assimilation.
The girls were coerced with food, or drugged, gang-raped and sometimes murdered. The horror stories occurred in as many as 50 cities and no one knows how many victims there are. It’s been going on for decades. One report estimated there were 1,400 victims in just one town (Rotherham). When fathers tried to intervene they were sometimes the ones who were arrested. The injustice is shocking. There is a Tommy Robinson documentary somewhere on X. He is in jail.
But we can celebrate that at least Canada has freed itself from the man who doxxed and froze bank accounts of everyone who even gave $10 to help the Canadian Truckers protest. Donald Trump’s tweet today:

Even his “resignation” is deceptive.

I recall the Rotterdam atrocities well – as there was quite an amount of international coverage. Like many, I assumed that justice would prevail and the perpetrators arrested and convicted. After all, we have all watched decades of television series on the solid British constabulary.
Yet, justice was not done, as the scourge of Woke determination to “ see no evil” involving immigrants prevailed. It has taken the power of a tech giant in Elon Musk to revive the appeal for justice. They may be able to imprison Tommy Robinson, but let them try to silence a man whose power to reach millions transcends those who have put politics and ideology above the defence of the defenceless.

Let’s all be nice to each other. If you can’t say anything good about someone, don’t say anything at all. Be kind to all people. The mantras of what passes as “civilisation”. Mantras that wallpaper over the humanity of humans. The humanity that has a very bad wolf and a very good wolf. We need to feed only the good wolf.
It seems that “civilisation” is about being “civil” to each other.
We’ve seen time and again in ancient, medieval, modern and recent history the thin veneer of goodness of many human beings that is built on sand and washes away with the slightest wave of water.
1031
Gerry, don’t be so naive. It is when evil is concealed rather than revealed that it flourishes, continues and grows stronger…. as happened under Starmer’s tenure as head of the CPS.
I understand the Jordan Peterson reference to Good wolf / bad wolf but you misunderstand it – it applies to the individual and their own behaviour / development.
If you applied your thinking on being civil – I.e Ignoring Evil then society would disintegrate.
241
Not aware of Jordan Peterson good/bad wolf reference. Came across this American Indian folklore tale some 10 years ago:
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
80
Thanks for relaying the good and bad wolf story, Earl. It is a story that is part of my set of wise sayings that I try to live by. Of course, if you feed both wolves the fight goes on…..feed the good wolf, but not the bad wolf.
10
Thanks for your comments Roger. In fact I agree with your points. Possibly my style of communication got in the way of what I was trying to say. Looking over what I wrote, it certainly seems disjointed and potentially confusing.
30
Vicki, the older I get the more cynical I become…or is it the wiser I become?
I have very little faith in “the justice system”. In a lot of cases it serves as a revolving door for repeat criminals who are punished inadequately because mummy didn’t breast feed them or some other stupid claim.
Paul Joseph Watson on the grooming gang scandal that is not going away no matter how much the government wants it to. About 9 minutes duration.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-9yh74MMqk
How anybody could do NOTHING when they knew these paedophile gangs were operating truly disgusts me.
The politicians, (mainly Tory and Labour), police and social workers involved in this should be behind bars along with the paedophile rapists!
240
If one considers the length of time the fuss the MSM made over Partygate carried on, it amazes me that they are not making as much fuss over a much more serious matter.
30
I beggars belief that the police and the prosecutors will go after people making mean tweets, but will turn a blind eye to child rape. However it appears this is normal business over recent years.
270
“We have all watched decades of television series on the solid British constabulary.”
I have noted with interest that the rich and influential in the town or village always seem to have the Chief Constable on speed dial who then lords it over the detectives to ‘not unduly embarrass or disturb said rich and influential folk.’
30
I have the original report from over a decade ago when I first came upon it, 2014 to be precise. I’m not tech savvy enough to post it here. I’ve read the entire thing. Multiple times.
It’s a 2.3 mb PDF that you can find by searching for “Easy Meat” (yes, that’s the actual title) then add in the name of one of the cities these girls suffered in these atrocities.
It was written by Peter McLoughlin. The body of the PDF, after the intro begins with this very short quote:
“ Many girls are terrified and with reason… a girl had
her tongue nailed to the table when she threatened
to tell.
– former government advisor, Daily Mail, 2008”
Animals, all of them.
I’ll keep trying, but no luck so far. I’m sure someone here can post it.

30
I should add you’re probably not gonna find it with the PC google engine. But go ahead and try if you have no other option
I use https://search.brave.com/
Private and it never tracks you.

Vicki, Is no one going to pick you up on your reference to Rotterdam when I reckon you meant Rotherham?
Perhaps Rotterdam has its problems, too.

I wonder if the pipe line will now get done, and it’s the end of that keep Alberta’s FF in the ground nonsense?

I recently watched (and, of course cannot find again) a Youtube explaining that 2 missing 13 year old girls were found in a house with several men (not WASPs) in the UK.
The girls were drunk, on drugs and semi-naked.
The police had attended the house after neighbours reported screaming then found the girls who had been reported as missing by their parents.
As per UK police procedure, apparently, the girls were immediately arrested and charged with several offences and ultimately found guilty.
None of the men were arrested
How many UK police officers resigned in disgust or complained about the policy that allows such inequities as this and all of the other reported failings of the system?
WASP – white Anglo Saxon Protestant
470
I suspect there were Angle, Saxon, and Roman grooming gangs.
You know, way back.
We’re much more civilized now.
Well, at least up until recently.

There are fisticuffs between Musk and Farage at the moment with Musk declaring that Farage is not fit to run the Reform party. Both condemn the pedophilia/rape scandal in the UK however Farage does not wish to have Tommy Robinson in the Reform party due to Robinson’s past issues with the law. Musk has therefore declared war on Farage since Musk has Robinson’s doco on X.
A rather unnecessary and self defeating dust up all about Musk’s ego which is also eliciting comments about Musk interfering in UK politics trying to get Farage deposed. Musk should pull his head in and just discuss it privately with Farage.
2510
If Farage was smart he’d visit Tommy in his Gaol-house and convince him to reject an offer to join the Reform Party where he would be constrained by Party discipline.
Tommy is better off outside a political party. He’s an independent, an indefatigable thorn in the side of British injustice.
451
Musk should pull his head in. Will you tell him or should I?
820
The point is they should be working together rather than trying to attack Farage.
132
It’s already over. Musk had an aspergic moment telling Farage off. That was yesterday, today he is retweeting him with support.
Farage says: “Keir Starmer is sweeping the failures of the establishment under the carpet. Nothing less than a full national inquiry into the rape gangs will do.”
Elon says “Yes”.
https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1876320966370086960
and
Farage says: “When I first tried to raise this rape gang scandal over a decade ago, I was accused by the Guardian of exploiting it for political gain. They should hang their heads in shame. https://www.express.co.uk/comment/expresscomment/1996818/nigel-farage-grooming-gangs-keir-starmer”

Trudope. Macron, Gavin Newsom and our very own Alabanese/Wong/Bandt are all overdue. Starmer who has fallen apart faster than Chinese cloth. None represent their countries or states. Lula in Brazil who in true socialist form wants to jail the previous President. And the entire UN/EU which are in metastasis just looking for more money from their victims.

Canadians do not like being called Americans although the similarities are compelling. Canada should stay Canada and I doubt if Trump really wants another state. Canada could do well trading with its big neighbour and has done so in the past. Their combined dominance in fossil fuels, the fuel of progress, would be beneficial to both and provide a bulwark to potential adversaries. A recent article on the brainwashing of Russian children , Protect The Children – How The State In Russia Monopolizes Knowledge | MEMRI, signals the decline of Russia reinforced by its lack of success in Ukraine. China’s dominance in electronics and vehicles is largely the result of industrial espionage or reverse engineering hence Trump’s aim to repatriate US companies back to the US. The US plus Canada is far more formable than a Canada as the 51st state.
185
It’s quite a call!
Canada is bigger than California.
The thought brings me back to Tasmania’s 12 seats in our senate.
160
I don’t believe Trump is serious, but it’s logical. Certainly if Canada could be better integrated with the US on border issues and economy, it would benefit both. There were three levels in Europe, the Common Market, then the European Council which fixed a lot of problems but now the political monster, the European Union which wants to be the government of Europe and have its own army to fight Russia and America.
170
The other huge problem is Canada’s British legal system, the inverse of America. Not one based on rights but traditional laws. But trade and immigration and defence should be integrated. The same legal problems abound inside the United States which is, after all, a Federation.
130
Trump’s just being Trump and trolling trudope. The US doesn’t want Canada and all of its issues* and it likely would have to admit up to 10 new States which would be a threat to the existing States’Federal powers.
Greenland as a territory, not a State, with a small population and yuge resources, could be realized.
*Like Quebec – an new minority?
Sacre Bleu !!
140
The status of Greenland is a matter for the Greenlanders, predominantly, and also the Danes. It is no more a matter for Donald Trump than the status of Ukraine is a matter for Vladimir Putin.
02
So much western hubris in all that it’s pretty ridiculous in 2025.
10
And why would the US want Quebec anyway?
Take the saner prairie provinces, let the rest survive as best they can on political correctness.
40
There are ten Canadian provinces and three (very northern) territories.
Make that 11 new USA states…. combine all the territories into one.
Well, Quebec could remain independent if they really wanted to.
10
According to the Canadian Encyclopedia Canada may have been named by Spanish explorers seeking gold around what is now Quebec Province:
10
“A recent article on the brainwashing of Russian children , Protect The Children – How The State In Russia Monopolizes Knowledge | MEMRI, signals the decline of Russia reinforced by its lack of success in Ukraine. ”
Lol! They must be picking up the brainwashing techniques of the CIA and the American mainstream media! 70years of propaganda lies about The Free West and The Rules Based Order.. Hoo Rah Semper Fi !!
21
Canadians are Americans – they live on the continent.
90
So do Mexicans. The most dangerous country in the world.
110
And Russia sold Alaska to America, not Canada, to keep the British Empire at a distance from their borders. Britain has undermined foreign powers for hundreds of years. America has greater respect for sovereignty.
111
Except when they overthrow foreign leaders not adhering to their agenda.
170
“So do Mexicans. The most dangerous country in the world.”
Only because they let their drug gangs get too big. Otherwise, the most hardworking, family-oriented, positive people around.
00
The story has been going the rounds for a few weeks, they did a poll. Donald is amused.
https://www.delta-optimist.com/national-news/poll-suggests-13-of-canadians-think-canada-should-become-the-51st-american-state-9932547#google_vignette
41
It’s more sensible than it seems. It’s a Federation. All the states retain their own governments, their own legal systems. They ONLY things ceded were to do with international affairs, defence, immigration, currency. And no tariffs between states. Everything else is state controlled, like Australia.
And Texas retains the unique right to secede from the US. Canada could be the same, which would give continental coverage of the land above Mexico for defence. Immigration is much more obviously a joint problem too. As is trade, 95% of which is by ship.
20
Seems like Pandemic initiated the downfall.
Not just Trudeau, but the Wokeopoly altogether.
In near Biblical, epic mythological irony, they mostly did it to themselves.
Then there was the miraculous bullet dodging in PA, and the Godsend of Elon Musk buying Twitter.
The Pandemic powerplay exposed their unbridled arrogance, arrogance gained by unprecedented power, which
has been currently curtailed, but probably only temporarily.
Hard to know what to think of this likely historic cultural collapse and political realignment.
Mostly due to the hysterical, immature, and unhinged reaction to a single man.
What’s old is new again.
What appears to be victory is sweet relief, but leaves the bitter taste of what these nut case b@st@rds have put us through.
270
As I see it, the Swamp can’t lay off because the alternative for them is severe punishment, and Trump can’t lay off because to do so would allow the Swamp to rise again in 4 years.
I wonder what Elon Musk’s place in this can be after inauguration and in the longer run.
161
I wonder what Elon Musk’s place in this can be after inauguration and in the longer run.
Moving to Mars?
20
“I wonder what Elon Musk’s place in this can be after inauguration and in the longer run.”
The most powerful voice in the world it seems… Nobody WANTS to listen to a politician, President or not, yet their mainstream-reported press releases have nowhere near the effect of a single tweet by Musk.
11
In the meantime the HMV Police and Justice performed a full Nelson and “Turned a Blind EYE”. Politicians will run and duck for cover just as they did during the Wuflu/vaccine controversy and are still doing! Australia has paid a heavy toll for their incompetence and nobody has been held accountable. Daniel Andrews awarded nation’s highest honour while still under suspicion for a driving incident that has injured a young man for the rest of his life. Andrews wife should be charged with perverting the course of Justice as should several Police Officers.
290
The BBC made a drama about three of these victims: “Three Girls”. About a social worker and a policewoman who team up to get some measure of justice for the girls.
The gangs I saw publicized were in Rochdale, Telford, Rotherham and Oxford … but none mentioned in London … does that add up? You’ve got the same imported community but somehow they lack the same propensity to abuse the host community? … Is that believable?
No, it doesn’t add up. Where was Ms. Cressida D[i]ck, London’s Police Commissioner? … and flag bearer for the rainbow community?
But please!, don’t say she was a diversity hire, no, she must’ve been the best qualified person for the role *snorts coffee on keyboard*.
260
If it’s the drama I’m thinking of, at least the father of one of the girls got his revenge on the chief perpetrator.(with a golf club)
20
Donald Trump’s razz of that traitor Trudeau: a timely boot up the backside send-off for a tail between it’s legs despicable cur.

The Tommy Robinson documentary is on X at:
https://x.com/TRobinsonNewEra/status/1817184820151070917
And Elon isn’t going to remove it.
It is the ultimate reason why Tommy Robinson is now a political prisoner in solitary confinement.
It is highly recommended and a must watch!
It’s what caused the Left to go absolutely ballistic. They had and continue to have far more concern for “offending” the rapists and being accused of being “racist” than the little girls who were raped (and possibly still are).
Yes, being concerned for the children must be a “far right” (sic) thing as Starmer alludes to.
350
Concern for the children is secondary to the rights of the adults …..concern for those that are powerless are secondary to the concern for the those that have some power …in essence, voters. Governments come and governments go. The mantras of the left and the right in our society harmonise in many ways. And this is one of the worst ways.
Look at our remote communities……and look at our urban communities.
50
Wikipedia shows that England & Wales ‘tops the world’ for rapes at 117.3 rapes per 100,000 (only Grenada tops that). According to the charity Rape Crisis, only 15% of victims chose to report the crime to the police. So that means 798,000 women across England and Wales are raped or sexually assaulted every year (1 in 30 women) and over 1,000,000 white women have been raped by Muslim men, at least once in their lifetime.
Yorkshire in August: 167 white women reported being raped by Muslim men in Bradford. So Rape Crisis estimate that 1,113 white women are raped by Muslim men in Bradford every month, some ending up in a hospital that my sister works at.
The problem is caused by (1) Muslim men don’t respect non-Islamic women due to their blasphemous religion, secularism or Britains left-wing decadent immoral liberal culture (2) The European Union and France are so awful to Islam, that thousands of these people are trying to cross the English Channel (3) Border Force and RNLI people traffickers (4) Third world countries find it cheaper to empty their prisons of rapists and pay for them to be sent to a British Hotel. (5) Very few Muslim women come to Britain (6) Muslim men and Communists like Kier Stalin regard Christians and Jews as ‘Far Right’ (7) Socialists say that Misogynists are OK if they are of the ‘Arab race’, but ‘not’ if they are not of the ‘Arab race’.
20
How can a rat ar$e bunch of politicians threaten and coerce 25 million people into silence and inaction? Okay, so take out 20% to account for the o-18 cohort and another 10% for the aged. The Bureaucracy probably numbers 30%. That still leaves at least 10 million citizens who have been defrauded by a corrupt system!
150
Due to the Trump Revolution and all that goes with it, the world is separating into clearly identifiable groups of good and evil.
The evil doers were always there but now they are being rendered more visible than ever before.

Nowhere can I find in comments or Jo’s intro the fact that the Conservatives were in government for 14 years, from May 2010 to July 2024, a 14 year period while Labour has been in government from July 2024 to January 2025, a 6 month period. The corruption Jo refers to is clearlyto be laid at the feet of the Rightist conservative party and Musk’s attack on Keir Starmer merely amplifies the failure of the Conservatives implement any of the recommendations of a major report in 2022 while in power.
615
Uh … that’s because nobody cares about Liberal, Labor, Conservative, Republican, Democrat, Teals or Twiddley Winks.
Ms. Nova is rightly commenting on the Blob losing its’ balance. (And their frigging minds, if you’re asking me.)

Honk. Well said. Perfect. Thank you.
Ian, what part of “this has been going on for decades” and “the moral plague that infects the UK bureaucracy at every level” made you think I was referring to only the Labor Party?
Feeling guilty?
60
Hey Jo,
it’s funny, I was pondering the very issue you address in this post just before I clicked on.
Your term ‘unraveling’ is concise.
As concise as an historic political unraveling can get.
Some have alluded to the Reformation.
I think maybe 2.0 is just getting started.
The Gov/Poly/Academic ruling triad have wrecked their legitimacy.
An unintended failed suicide.
And will likely begin to act like the very powerful, very nasty wounded animal that it is.
Anyway, the thanks go to you.
20
You appear to have missed or selectively ignored this bit
“And even Keir Starmer is in the cross-hairs. He was director of the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008 – 2013”
Perhaps a reasonable rationale for looking at Starmer and saying WTF? now he is in supposed leadership.
70
““And even Keir Starmer is in the cross-hairs. He was director of the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008 – 2013”
The Crown Prosecution as the name implies prosecutes but if politicians fail to ensure those who should be tried are not tried there is little the CPS can do The Conservatives were not too interested in those who should have been prosecuted
04
Once again being selective and inserting players where it suits the spin.
Law, Police, Prosecutors
Everything else is look squirrel! opinion
20
“if politicians fail to ensure those who should be tried are not tried ”
When was that the job of politicians?
The police/judiciary/prosecutors in the Westminster system are completely independent in the basic principle of separation of powers. Judges in particular should not be directed by politicians in a democratic system. Judges are not elected in the British model. The American model is less clear, especially in White House directed lawfare against their political opponents. But such partisan judges and prosecutors are at serious risk of being considered criminals themselves. We may yet see them jailed in the US. Politicians as well.
The Police should never be the tool of politicians, even if the Chief Commissioner is often appointed by politicians and influenced by politicians. They should act independently without fear or favor based on the body of laws and derived regulations, especially Criminal laws. The police should not be politicians’
henchmen. However these principles have been sorely tested by politicians during lockdown, especially by Trudeau in Canada and Daniel Andrews in Victoria, Australia.
40
“And even Keir Starmer is in the cross-hairs. He was director of the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008 – 2013”
Sounds like the new Minister of Justice, or Chief Prosecutor, or whatever our friendly helpful Pro-Western “Moderate” Govt in Syria now has.. Swap a thawb and an AK47 for a suit and a tie and everyone will ignore your sentencing women to death for prostitution..
50
> President Macron has accused Musk of interfering in foreign elections, to which Musk replied “Oh, like that time Starmer called @realDonaldTrump a racist and said the British government should do everything to stop him?”
UK foreign interference in the 2024 US presidential election was worse than that:
160
A reminder that “Our ALP” sends trainees to learn from the Democrat.
And got fined for “illegal foreign interference” in the 2016 election
https://www.inkl.com/news/australian-labor-fined-14-500-over-campaign-push-to-stop-trump
On the basis of that I can’t see how UK Labour’s “100 field workers” isn’t going to “draw a similar set of crabs”
10
I only hope that these Muslim rapists are pursued and finally brought to justice. It’s a big ask I know, but these young girls should be compensated and if these rapists can be booted out of the UK it should be a top priority.
I also hope Musk can meet with Farage and agree to patch things up and take on the barking mad lefties ASAP and number one is the clueless Starmer lunatic.
150
Ethnic groups should not be permitted to become immigrants or refugee asylum seeker beneficiaries from groups known to authorities/goverment to be most likely troublemakers and unwilling to assimilate.
To issue quick response tourist visa to people without the should be mandatory background checking is also unacceptable.
50
And even granting of citizenship ought to be conditional – and revocable.
50
I watched a documentary several years ago about the grooming and abuse of young UK women by migrant groups of men, it was difficult for me to continue to watch.
Even schoolgirls on their way home were “trained” to follow men when given the signal, one example resulted in the girl being taken to a dwelling and inside family members sitting watching television as the man and the girl passed by and upstairs.
The girls are too scared to resist because in typical cowardly fashion they are warned that their family members will be targeted if they do not cooperate.
How could UK Police ignore this situation, and UK politicians?
Anarchy ignored.
100
‘Anarchy ignored.”
Lawlessness perhaps, but anarchy would see the girls’ fathers, brothers and cousins turning up at that house with guns and firebombs..
60
Wonder where Boudica is about now?
20
Following a family member serving on the jury at a murder trial that lasted several weeks of hearings she told us that part of what she learnt was that our society consists of different levels and down at the bottom there are people who live off crime, welfare payments and are parasites. One example of their lifestyle was to steal a car to take their family members on an outing, dump that car and steal another to drive home or near home within walking distance.
And upper levels that appear to be more mainstream but also have no problems working the system from taxation to insurance, whatever.
Of course they are a minority within the various levels once described as working class, middle class and upper class but also welfare recipients and many who treat Centrelink as their place of employment and “pay day” provider.
60
You can see why the UK is rotting away, everyone is on the take.
50
“down at the bottom there are people who live off crime, welfare payments and are parasites. ”
You’re talking about politicians I assume. They use crime to scare us or we wouldn’t need a Govt at all, their salaries are just welfare and every one of them is a parasite!
90
Just imagine if Australia became the 51st State of the USA ! One State government for the whole country . We could get rid of all our current State governments and their bureaucracy and our Federal government could become the State government of Australia. There would be no need for a Senate just use the House of Representatives and have a Governor. We would then get an updated Defence with the US supplying our AirForce ,Navy and Army plus the Marine Corps.

Yeah but, tipping and going back to imperial and having to talk really loud.

You missed the added complication that US has the names but the measures ain’t imperial – try gallons for a start
And Oz tourists are already qualified at “talking loud”

The USA does not mandate the use of any system of measurement. People commonly choose to use gallons and miles, but nothing requires it. We also have Litres of Coke in the grocery store, because the Soda Pop dealers liked it. Pretty much all science is done in metric. Cars come in both units depending on point of origin. Oh, and a Fifth of Wine is 750 ml as the booze industry is metric.
At one time I had a big FORD pickup. Parts made in Canada (body & wheels / brakes) were Metric, those from Detroit (engine, transmission) were inches. I have wrench sets in both.
Basically, you can use whatever you like. Nobody mandates it.
Yes, it’s a little more complicated. But you get used to it. A Tablespoon is 15 ml. A cup is about 250 ml. 4 inches, about 10 cm. Essentially being “bilingual on units”.

>a little more complicated
It is sometimes puzzling for the outsider. For instance in the USA sticks can be butter.

Western leaders, those leftist and woke,
Backed Kamala, went all in for broke,
Thinking this was her day,
With all hope swept away,
When Donald Trump won the States in one stroke.

“What An INSULT!” | Ex-Met Police Detective SLAMS Keir Starmer’s Speech On Rotherham Scandal
It just struck me.
Centuries of clawing our way out of the cowardice of being called a ‘non-believer’ only to have new religion insidiously promulgate around us and create a new batch of crusading zealots.

Preference Cascade.
Look it up.
The Berlin Wall has fallen.

This is what happens in a cancel culture. History warns us about this time and time again.
When the freedom to speak out is battered into submission by habitual liars and frauds who get to high places it is hard to find something good to say about it. Our ruling classes have no conscience or guilt. Look at Starmer and ask yourself how the hell he got to the top of a political party let alone become the prime government minister of a nation. Politically he is as bad for Britain as you can get.
The UK is no longer the place I was born to love. The British culture I adored as a child is utterly destroyed. Our political figures have been bogus false idols for so long most people feel powerless in trying to find true representation for themselves and our media, including the BBC, is as corrupt as hell.
We have the wrong people at the top and in charge of all the important functions and we can blame academia for a lot of that. Britain’s backbone is broken.

Kind of like Kamala. What’s with all these former prosecutors? Then we have the Alan Braggs and the Fanny Willis’s.
All these Sheriffs of Nottingham.
