Last month of Arctic spring fails to bring sea ice to its knees, even in Southern Hudson Bay

    From Polar Bear Science
    Susan Crockford

Polar bear habitat for June — the last month of spring in the Arctic — is still within 2 standard deviations of the long-term average despite sea ice experts’ predictions that catastrophic declines can be expected any year now.

The Arctic sea ice cover in June 2024 retreated at a below average pace, leading to a larger total sea ice extent for the month than in recent years. NSIDC, 3 July 2024

Oddly, the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) employees who wrote up the sea ice summary for June felt it appropriate to bring up a recently-published prediction of impending doom for Southern Hudson Bay polar bears based on a sea ice prediction (Stroeve et al. 2024), which I covered here. The inclusion of this topic is a naked promotion of the Stroeve sea ice modelling paper which not only doesn’t fit the reality of this year’s sea ice conditions but their discussion doesn’t include a single piece of evidence that Southern Hudson Bay polar bears came off the ice earlier than usual.

All conspiracy theories are alive and well if Jonathon Willis is real.

Clearly he published this before his bosses could shut him up.

This gives clear cause to believe that the Secret Service and FBI hoped to get rid of Trump

      I think it’s a fake post.

The thing that confirms to me it’s a fake post is the sniper kneeling lifts his head from his scope when the shots started. Then puts his head back to the scope and shoots. This indicates that he didn’t have his eye already on the shooter and lifted his head from the scope to get a broad view and fix on where the shots were coming from.

If he had the shooter in his sights for 3 mins, he would have just fired immediately on the shooter firing, or immediately on command to shoot, without momentarily lifting his head from the scope before firing.

The other thing he would have done is not allowed Trump to keep talking. He would have informed other police and/or the secret service immediately he spotted the shooter. If he’s the sort of officer to go public with this (which is fake) then he would be the sort of officer to protect the target (Trump) by giving the alert. This would not contravene the claimed command not to shoot the shooter until after shots were fired.

The other aspect which indicates its fake is the wording/phrasing of the post. “famous photo”, “head of the secret service” plus the other aspects.

Also, as if the police or the secret service would want shots fired on their own members and the crowd in the hope that Trump would be killed (if that’s the inference) by some random amateur assailant.

The more serious question is why the stage was not immediately cleared if a credible threat was known for three minutes. A gunman on the roof alone is enough reason to clear the area.

It is what amazed the public who could also see the shooter. It’s not as if they didn’t know who the target was. Or that public lives were not at risk too. Someone only had to yell ‘gun’.

Well, that’s what I mean by if the sniper had had the shooter in his sights for 3 mins then they would have cleared the stage. Which is one of the reasons I don’t believe it’s a genuine post by one of the police snipers.

I have heard an explanation that it’s actually protocol for snipers to not shoot until a shot is fired, so they don’t shoot someone innocent crawling around with what only looks like a gun. But in 3 mins they would have cleared the stage and had officers inspect the shed where the shooter was to see if it was someone with a stick trying to get a birds nest out of the roof, or in fact someone with a gun.

I think the people who were aware there was a potential shooter were all outside the venue, nearer the shooter’s shed. They did alert police or attempt to. On video I’ve seen they don’t seem particularly animated or acting with urgency. Not sure if they just thought the guy was suspicious and didn’t want to seem like they were unnecessarily alarmist for what may be a false alarm. But they didn’t seem to be shouting “GUN! GUN!”

I think there was simply a security failure and there are questions to be answered on that front. Some will say it wasn’t a failure, it was deliberate. Either way, I don’t think the post by someone claiming to be a police sniper is genuine.

The last shot by a police sniper was allegedly to shoot the gun away. Their ability to see on a clear bright blue day at a mere 100 yards would have been incredible. They could have read his phone.

What I find amazing is that they did not check or watch what was almost the only other rooftop in the area. That would have been so easy.
It is exactly what you expect rooftop snipers to be doing. Or their spotters.

              Hmmm….

REAL snipers, one of which I am not, traditionally work in PAIRS; shooter and “spotter / close protection”. One of their primary roles is to be the advanced eyes and ears ob their parent unit, carefully observing and noting anything remotely useful., often refraining from taking an “oppotunistic” shot in favour of waiting for a “prime” one or because they are not keen on being caught in a shower of mortar bombs.

Police “marksmen” are not always “trained snipers”. Lindt siege, anyone?

The “waters” surrounding this entire rock-show have been “muddied” from the moment the first bullet flew. Why? Churnalistic fantasizing and political maneuvering, mainly.

Normally, I would find your comment reasoned.

However, I live in a reality where I am told the oceans are boiling.

I was just listening to my local ‘news’ talk radio.
It was Trump that caused the attempt on his life.
It is only MAGA supporters that use inflammatory rhetoric.

Where do we turn to verify the authenticity?
        US Secret Service?

        UNIPCC?
I know, CNN, they are a trustworthy devoted to facts organization.
        Just ask ‘em.

Oh wait, the FBI, they will produce the definitive investigation.

Yes. Where do we turn to verify.

I’d suggest the ABC in Aus and CNN in the USA. I’ve found them to be by far the most consistent, reliable, and thorough of all news services. Particularly on matters like this that relate to Trump.
And, in case you haven’t thrown up or fainted and are still reading. Perhaps the Epoch Times, Sky News Outsiders or After Dark. I don’t think they’d ignore a post like that by a genuine police sniper if there was any credibility to it.

I would note that Hunter’s laptop was ignored for nearly two years and largely still is.
The completely false, based on NOTHING, Russian collusion narrative was repeated constantly for four years and often still repeated.
It was the basis for an impeachment.
So the ‘they wouldn’t blatantly ignore important facts or outright lie’ argument is unpersuasive to me.

Sorry, they’ve managed, incredibly, to make Alex Jones credible.

Yes, had seen that video. That’s what I mean. Those people were observing but not really animated about the guy. They did call “officer” and were concerned pointing the guy out. But there wasn’t any yelling or trying to alert the arena. I guess they just thought he was suspicious and hadn’t obviously seen a gun.
Another video of the guy being interviewed by BBC suggested he knew the shooter was a shooter. But he didn’t say “I was telling Gun! Gun!”

Biden’s laptop wasn’t ignored. It was attempted to be suppressed by social media and presented as fake by others. But not all media bought that fake story.
Some media didn’t say the Russia Collusion story was real.
Obviously the ABC and CNN were culprits in those aspects.

What you can see in that video clip is that sniper Crooks is not yet in a position to shoot- he is low on one side of the gable roof. From that position he has no line of sight to either Trump’s pavillion or the counter-sniper position.

He was in that position for more than 30 minutes. A police officer reported observing him on the roof and called in the siting at 5:45pm, at least 26 minutes before the shooting.

Nor can the counter-sniper observe Crooks. The roof pitch is about 1:7 and the two sites are about 200 metre apart.

The counter-sniper would only be able to observe Crooks once he reached the ridge of the two slopes, which occurred only minutes before the shooting.

That is why the security plan required an observer on the roof- an observer with direct communications with the counter-sniper and the SS co-ordinator.

There was no observer and the counter-sniper knew there was no observer.

Big story from the Land of Lawyers.
Trump’s Florida case stunningly dismissed after judge finds appointment of special counsel Jack Smith violated the Constitution.
Background from Wikipedia: Jack Smith (lawyer) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Smith_(lawyer)
“On November 18, 2022, United States Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Smith special counsel to oversee the criminal investigations into Donald Trump’s actions regarding the January 6 U.S. Capitol attack, and Trump’s handling and storage of government records, including classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate.”
“On June 8, 2023, a grand jury indicted Trump on seven federal criminal charges related to his handling of the classified documents. This marked the first time in American history that a serving or former president has been indicted on a federal criminal charge. On August 1, Trump was indicted by a grand jury on four more federal felony counts relating to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election and his conduct during the attack on the Capitol. The case was dismissed by Judge Aileen Cannon on July 15, 2024, on the grounds that Smith’s appointment as special counsel was unconstitutional.

The amazing lack of prosecution of Biden is a similar travesty. Biden had secret documents from a time when he was just a senator, documents he had no right to see let alone remove. And as VP. The very idea that he could remain as President but not be prosecuted as he was geriatric and incompetent is amazing. Trump also asked how this was possible. The claim of executive privilege on the audio accompanying the transcripts tells the world that the transcripts are fake too.

The obvious coverup of criminality by the DOJ is amazing. Like the Russian disinformation letter from 50 of the most senior people in Washington, which itself was deliberate misinformation to influence the last election and blatantly lie to the American people. The DOJ, CIA and FBI fear no one because they are the law and they are protecting their man. No one will be prosecuted. They protect each other.

This dismissal should be replicated in the DC cases Smith has lodged.
However, DC is in the belly of the beast – where 97% of the population leans left.
It is far from certain that this partisan jurisdiction will observe the same outcome.
Nonetheless Trump has a limited immunity (limited = yet too be determined) from these DC cases, the Georgia Rico case and even the Bragg NY case (where Trump has already been found guilty).
The Judgment handed to Letitia James’ NY case is ultimately appealable if not in fact, then in the scope of the Judgment … Trump has been fined $450 million for fraud – by paying back loans in full and on time – where Boeing was recently fined around $437 million for negligently killing some 350 people.
That just leaves the Jean E Caroll defamation Judgment of $93 million – where she repeatedly alleged Trump raped her, but the jury did not agree.
That Judgment will likely be reduced on appeal.
      .
The wheels have completely come off the Democrat wagon and they are desperate to craft a new narrative.

Document request – Rules of Engagement

The seriousness of this security failure and chilling moment in our nation’s history cannot
be understated. No assassination attempt has come so close to taking the life of a president or
presidential candidate since President Reagan was shot in 1981. Had the bullet’s trajectory been
slightly different, the assassination attempt on President Trump might have succeeded. As the
U.S. Secret Service (USSS) investigates, the Committee on Homeland Security (Committee) is
dedicated to conducting rigorous oversight to ensure that the American people receive answers
and presidential candidates receive proper and adequate protection.

Documents sufficient to explain the U.S. Secret Service’s rules of engagement or
protocols to assess and neutralize threats towards a protectee, particularly for possible
    assassination attempts;

They were hired despite obviously not being tall enough to cover Trump with their own body as they are required to do, or strong enough, plus one couldn’t re-holster her gun, and both women in the video looked frazzled and didn’t know what to do. Lots of commentary on social media about that.

On Saturday, prior to the assassination attempt, Trump’s odds of winning the 2024 presidential election were 8/15 (65.2 percent) according to William Hill, a U.K. based betting company. However, after the shooting, this was slashed to a 4/11 (73.3 percent) chance of Trump achieving victory.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said Comperatore “died a hero” when he “dove on his family” to protect them from the gunfire during the rally.

Since 2016 the Left have being calling Trump a National Socialist, war monger, misogynist, and even calling for his assassination etc.. Is it any wonder some deranged person actually decided to “take matters into their own hands” based upon such false claims?

Also, all those Leftists that did call for his assassination should be prosecuted for inciting violence or a worse crime if possible.

After decades many people are working out that National Socialists are Leftists. Fortunately more and more people are fighting back against Leftist propaganda that National Socialists were “far right”. Evil nearly always comes from the Left.

Michael Galak had this published as a letter in The Australian, yesterday I think. (This version may not be the final as published, my corrections added).

The Left/Right political division is not as obvious as people think. For example – Hitler’s (National Socialist) party. Could not be more Right wing, could it? However, they were National Socialists with the Red flag and a 1st of May celebrations. Their difference from the Soviets was the kind of enemy they need for internal consolidation and financing . Soviets used bourgeoisie and the (National Socialists) the Jews. Mussolini’s fascists were direct offshoot of the Italian Socialist party, where Benito was a Secretary. He was under great influence of the Russian Socialist Anjelica Balabanova. The tradition of the Left/Right political divide stems from the time of the French Revolution, where radical(s) were sitting on the Left side of Parliament and those, trying in vain to retain some common sense (the right). Leftists wanted to execute as many “enemies of the Revolution” as possible. They succeeded.

    My friend replied privately:

It is for this reason that I only ever refer to the (National Socialists) as National Socialists.

By using the former description, rather than the latter, you obscure the reality that theirs was a fundamentally left wing movement and by so doing play into the hands of the Left whose propaganda narrative disseminates a false dichotomy in which Hitler, Mussolini and their respective parties are deceptively depicted as “right wing”.

The Left desperately needs to play this card because if national socialism and fascism were correctly characterized almost every mass murdering tyranny of the twentieth century would be sheeted home to their corner of the ideological spectrum. Things would get just a little bit too obvious and, for the Left, uncomfortable.

Galak’s comments about the French Revolution are also perceptive. Leftards have never harbored any compunction whatsoever about the use of violence in order to achieve their political objectives.

It is not, for example, Marine le Pen’s “far right” political party that is smashing and setting fire to the streets of French cities. This destruction is the work of the French Left.

And neither was it MAGA Republicans who trashed and burned down much of America during the demented summer of 2020. It was the Marxist (by its own admission) “Black Lives Matter” movement.

Of course I need hardly mention the execrable activities of the “Antifa” brigade. They form yet another part of the same monstrous, brutal and thuggish pattern.

And the philosopher of Fascism, of which National Socialism is a derivative, is Giovanni Gentile who saw fascism as socialism with added nationalistic elements. Racial elements were also added by the National Socialists. Also see book by Dinesh D’Souza, “The Big Lie: Exposing the (National Socialist) Roots of the American Left”.

Extract of Amazon overview of D’Souza’s book:

What is “the big lie” of the Democratic Party? That conservatives—and President Donald Trump in particular—are fascists. (National Socialists), even. In a typical comment, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says the Trump era is reminiscent of “what it was like when Hitler first became chancellor.”

But in fact, this audacious lie is a complete inversion of the truth. Yes, there is a fascist threat in America—but that threat is from the Left and the Democratic Party. The Democratic left has an ideology virtually identical with fascism and routinely borrows tactics of intimidation and political terror from the (National Socialist) Brownshirts.

To cover up their insidious fascist agenda, Democrats loudly accuse President Trump and other Republicans of being (National Socialists)—an obvious lie, considering the GOP has been fighting the Democrats over slavery, genocide, racism and fascism from the beginning.

10 Burning Questions That Every American Should Be Asking About The Trump Shooting

      By Michael Snyder

      https://endoftheamericandream.com/10-burning-questions-that-every-american-should-be-asking-about-the-trump-shooting/

#1 How did the shooter get so close without being seen by the Secret Service?

#2 Why weren’t security personnel on that roof?

#3 Why didn’t authorities respond when they were warned about a man with a gun?

#4 According to testimony from another eyewitness, the shooter actually had time to “move from roof to roof” before he started shooting at Trump. If people in the crowd could see this movement, why couldn’t the Secret Service?

#5 Once the shooting started, why did it take so long for the Secret Service to get to Trump?

#6 Why was security so much better at previous Trump rallies?

#7 U.S. Representative Mike Waltz claims that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas turned down requests for better Secret Service protection for Trump on multiple occasions. Why did he do this?

#8 Did inflammatory rhetoric inspire the shooter to do what he did? As J.D. Vance has aptly observed, the Biden campaign has been labeling Trump as “an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs”

#9 I think that the timing of this shooting was very interesting. If Trump was killed just before the convention, he would not be the Republican nominee. So who would have come out of the convention as the replacement nominee?

#10 How will this shooting affect the general election?

Sources: Trump shooter spotted nearly 30 MINUTES before shots fired!

‘It’s not clear if Crooks had a gun with him at that point’

      https://www.wnd.com/2024/07/sources-trump-shooter-spotted-nearly-30-minutes-before-shots-fired/

A Pittsburgh television station is reporting “dramatic new details” in connection with the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on Saturday, with sources Monday saying law enforcement was made aware of gunman Thomas Crooks on the roof nearly half an hour before shots rang out.

WPXI-TV reports [Hotlink]: “According to multiple law enforcement sources, Thomas Crooks was spotted by law enforcement on a roof nearly 30 minutes before shots were fired that injured Trump, killed a former fire chief, and injured two others in the crowd.”

26 minutes after the second picture of Crooks was taken by law enforcement and the information called in, shots were fired from the roof of the American Glass Research building.

Failed Trump Assassin Purchased Ladder and 50 Rounds of Ammo on the Morning of the Rally, According to New Report

      https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/failed-trump-assassin-purchased-ladder-50-rounds-ammo/

      CNN reports:

On Friday, he went to a shooting range where he was a member, and practiced firing, a law enforcement official told CNN. The next morning, Crooks went to a Home Depot, where he bought a five-foot ladder, and a gun store, where he purchased 50 rounds of ammunition, the official said.

Then, Crooks drove his Hyundai Sonata about an hour north, joining thousands of people from around the region who flocked to Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He parked the car outside the rally, with an improvised explosive device hidden in the trunk that was wired to a transmitter he carried, the official said. Then, investigators believe, he used his newly-bought ladder to scale a nearby building, and opened fire on the former president.

The report noted, “It’s not clear whether Crooks used the ammunition or the ladder that he bought on Saturday during his attack later that day.” However, a ladder was prominently propped up against the building where Crooks would shoot from.

I am amazed by Biden’s address to the nation on the near death of the previous President.

He twice wanted to settle things at the Battle Box.

This a serious mistake. It is not stuttering. This is not a mistaken word. He is reading from a teleprompter a prepared and practiced short speech in big letters, slowly. There is no such thing as a battle box, but that’s not the point.

To read BALLOT as BATTLE indicates a serious mental problem in comprehension as well as reading. It’s not a mispronunciation or a mumble. Most people could attempt a word they did not understand. His sight reading is collapsing. Which explains his frequent mumbling, feigning sounds with bits of words. He cannot read functionally. Certainly not long words, so he substitutes.

How can you read and say BATTLE BOX repeatedly and understand anything being said in context? How do you understand what is being said if words like BALLOT have gone missing?
His minders would have known this precise word problem. But they let this go to air? I can only assume he insisted. And he is the President.

He knows the press reached a point where serious and obvious mental problems are dismissed as unimportant?

Memory is one problem. Comprehension is another. His short term memory is collapsing even to the point of loss of day to day automatic language. And his arrogance means he is continuing regardless while very aware of the problem. Jill will have told him and he insisted BATTLE would do. BALLOT is a word politician Joe has known for sixty years. It is gone. It reads as BATTLE to him now. Which meaning does it have?

This cannot continue. The President of America cannot read or speak simple sentences with comprehension. This is the Commander in Chief! How can he lead anyone into BALLOT?

Biden Campaign Panics: Vance as VP Will ‘Bend Over Backwards to Enable Trump’

      https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2024/07/15/biden-campaign-panics-vance-vp-will-bend-over-backwards-enable-trump/

In a press release, Biden campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon wrote that Trump had chosen Vance as “his running mate” because he “will do what” former Vice President Mike Pence “wouldn’t on January 6.”

“Donald Trump picked J.D. Vance as his running mate because Vance will do what Mike Pence wouldn’t on January 6: bend over backwards to enable Trump and his extreme MAGA agenda, even if it means breaking the law and no matter the harm to the American people.”

“As Trump’s running mate, Vance will make it his mission to enact Trump’s Project 2025 agenda at the expense of American families,” the statement continues. “This is someone who supports banning abortion nationwide while criticizing exceptions for rape and incest survivors; railed against the Affordable Care Act, including its protections for millions with preexisting conditions; and has admitted he wouldn’t have certified the free and fair election in 2020.”

Election rigging wasn’t going to be enough this time and the people running the racket know that they are in big trouble as the law could catch up with them if they lose control . Hunter is going to jail and I hope that a few others of the corruptocracy do to . If the judiciary and three letter agencies finally decide to enforce the law they will need bigger prisons .

A .22 actually has more penetration in steel plate than a .303 I’d go for small calibre, high velocity, the wildcat rounds like a .204. I’ve used a .204 and a .50cal, and I’d take a .204 every time!

For low recoil accuracy, FN’s P90 SMG was designed to defeat body armour with a high-velocity 5.7mm round, and you get a 50-round magazine for a second shot!

There isnt a real answer H. There are different levels of vests. A 50 will go through much of anything and even if it stopped the projectile I doubt anyones innards would survive the shock/pressure wave.

I once saw a test of bullet proof glass panels that were put around the windows of a data centre that was in a gun rich environment. They could stop 7.62/308 rounds as long as multiples didnt hit on one spot. They were very heavy and very expensive. I often wonder why they bothered when if you shot either side of the window it was just a masonry commercial building. All this early 2000s so things may have moved on.

42 seconds of looking down scopes before shooting

    – Rules of Engagement

This was my intial observation – the counter sniper team did nor swing around when they heard the shooter’s gunfire they were already on target.

Their role is to scan for long distance threats 500+ yards out – a sniper rife can have a range of 2000 yards plus

As you can see in the attached photos one of the snipers had taken his gun of its tripot and sought more protection lying prone on the roof in case the shooter fired back

The snipers had 42 seconds to kill someone who had a clearly identifialbe rifle in his hands only 130 yards ways – why did they not shoot?

This the THE question that must be answered -see my post at #5 above on Rules of Engagement request.

Why did one sniper not say to his partner: “Do you see a gun?” If the partner says “Yes” then it should have been bullets away in 5 seconds.

Meet The Ukrainian Sniper Who Broke World Record After Killing Russian Soldier From 3.8 Km Away
The shot by Mr Kovalskiy, spanning 12,468 feet, covered a distance greater than that of two Brooklyn Bridges in approximately 9 seconds.

The sniper and his “spotter” initially observed Russian soldiers cutting wood but considered them too low-ranking to shoot. Moments later, he noticed a group of other soldiers and one of them was an officer giving orders.

Mr Kovalskiy waited for hours in freezing temperatures before he shot the target nearly 3.8 km away.

“You can,” his spotter instructed him.

After the colleague gave him the go-ahead, the sniper measured the distance and specialist software and meteorological data to calculate the effects of the wind, humidity, temperature and even the curvature of the Earth.

After a test shot, they figured that they had gotten the wind speed wrong. The sniper reset, reloaded and fired his bullet- half a foot long at 6.2 inches – at a speed of 960 mph.

NOTE: The sniper checked with his “spotter” partner that they had a high value target and then fired. This “Rule of Engagement” should have applied by the US Secret Service.

So in this day and age with that gear and skill around why would any entity need an intermediary doofus like Brooks?

If there was such an entity with serious intent, Trump would have already been offed from great distance and USSS would have no idea where the shot came from given their clueless performance at Butler.

Disingenuously they claim hydro as their own, they have no right. ALL hydro was built by the good engineers, now retired or dead, who knew how to build a robust grid.

Without hydro, wind seldom meets more than 20% of demand and with solar for those few good sunny hours it vary rarely hits 40%. Now, a great wind day with 18 mph wind across all SE’s wind assets, they don’t make it.

“Mississippi ranked 49th in the United States for elementary school literacy 10 years ago, when fourth graders were essentially an entire grade level behind the rest of the nation.

Fast-forward a decade and 85 percent of third graders in the Magnolia State passed the state reading assessment test in 2023, moving Mississippi up to No. 21 and showing the fastest growth in the country in reading comprehension, despite having one of the lowest per-pupil expenditure rates.”

“Trump is almost a shoe-in, and has chosen JD Vance as running mate—who is extremely anti-Ukraine”

So, the left have to keep Trump alive as the VP will be even worse!

I find it amusing that they talk of giving Russia the quarter of Ukraine it already has taken, as if that will suffice. When they say Luhansk and Donbass, I picture Odessa, Dnipro and up the river to Kiev, I can’t see Russia being satisfied with less than that half.

It looks like the drones are waking up.. Umm, ah, wot? The Russians have control of the air over Ukraine?? But, hang on, we’re meant to do that…

“Experts and Western military officers have said that in such a fight, the US and its allies, even with fleets of fifth-generation stealth fighter jets, likely would find it difficult to establish the same level of air dominance they’ve largely had since the end of World War II. “If we can’t get air superiority, we’re going to be doing the fight that’s going on in Russia and Ukraine right now,” Hecker said. “And we know how many casualties that are coming out of that fight.”

Nothing scares America like a real war in the trenches with body bags coming home.

Nothing is new… Some decades ago the rules were changed to stop incoming Govts firing the top bureaucrats and appointing their chosen. Now that the top bureaurats are firmly in the Left’s control, Nigel Farage wants a return to the old system. A very tempting argument too-

“Reform’s plan for each new government to replace the top echelon of the Civil Service with their own appointees, has a great deal of merit: “Replace Civil Service leaders with successful professionals from the private sector, who are political appointees, who come and go with the government.”

With many senior officials in New Zealand’s Public Service still committed to the previous government’s agenda – to the point where the Coalition can’t even get them to call the country by its correct name – if such a policy was introduced here, it would remove a major handbrake to progress. ”

It appears the Laborisation of NZ may prove impossible to undo without turning the snivel service on it’s head.

“Did you know that Joe Biden’s Chief Strategist/senior advisor Mike Donilon has a brother named Thomas Donilon, who is the current Chairman of BlackRock Investment? Thomas Donilon also served as the National Security advisor under Barack Hussein Obama, and he is married to UNICEF Director General Catherine Russell. You need to learn the names and faces of the Biden operatives who have been covering up the fact that he has had dementia for the last 4 years.”

Well, how much skin in the war has Blackrock got, their investments in Ukraine depending on good ol’ Uncle Joe… They could be very nervous about Trump winning and pulling the plug.
