I have been prescribed Ivermectin (not for Covid-19). I made a point of asking if it was safe. Yes it’s absolutely safe they said. But what about side-effects? No, they said, there are no side-effects to worry about.

What has changed from before Covid-19? Nothing real, I suspect, just politics.

When is someone going to be prosecuted for what they did?

Several times over the last month I have expressed increasing concern over our over reliance on computers and the internet. The technology is often flaky and the risk of cyber hacking on a major scale seems ever more likely.

Major problem worldwide today with a security update-ironically.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13651875/Global-economy-crippled-digital-pandemic-Experts-fear-outage-grounded-planes-closed-shops-left-NHS-chaos-DAYS-Mercedes-F1-team-races-fix-issues-ahead-Hungarian-Grand-Prix.html

It seems that everyone wants to digitise everything even it is not needed. Quite apart from the huge amounts of energy needed it makes us so vulnerable

“The world will end, not with a bang but a cyber attack” as George Orwell nearly said.

      This is a wakeup call.

Surely China and Russia might be able to do the same thing with their smart hackers?

        >George Kurtz co-founded CrowdStrike, which pushed out a faulty update today

Not all they’ve pushed out. From yesterday’s thread:

Flashback: Crowdstrike, the Company Behind the Russia Hacked Emails Scandal that Offered No Evidence During the Investigation, is Behind the IT Outages that Grounded Flights Across America the Day Following the RNC
        https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/flashback-crowdstrike-company-behind-russia-hacked-emails-scandal/

Many of you may remember that it was also Crowdstrike that was working with the Democrat Party when they blamed the leak of Hillary Clinton’s emails on a suspicious Russian hack. At least, that was the story.

The Gateway Pundit obliterated that false narrative years ago – but only after Democrats used the lie to run an attempted coup against President Trump.

Cyber expert Yaacov Apelbaum posted an incredible report with information basically proving that the DNC was not hacked by the Russians.

Apelbaum’s first argument was this – [see Apelbaum analysis]

        And,

Esteemed NSA whistleblower Bill Binney [hotlink] reported in June 2019 that there was no way Russians hacked the DNC based on the speed of the transfer of the data that was hacked. But according to Apelbaum the transfer speeds is a minor issue here. It’s just an indicator that it would have been difficult for Guccifer 2 who was sitting in Romania to access the DNC system remotely.

Based on information available back in 2020, we now know there is no evidence that the Russians hacked the DNC. This was made up from the start.

Today, Crowdstrike is shutting down flights in America.

Australia’s digital payment crash underscores the essential need for physical cash.

The digital payment system in Australia has CRASHED!
Some shops such as Coles are only accepting physical Australian dollars!
This is why PHYSICAL CASH is essential to economic freedom!

    Good article on Heat pumps

    https://dailysceptic.org/2024/07/18/dont-fall-for-the-governments-latest-heat-pump-con/

Quite where the electricity will come from is completely beyond me as we pursue EV’s, electric cookers, heat pumps and vast Data centres in order to capture often useless information.

Anyone here got a heat pump? What sort of size house is the one in the picture designed to heat?

I think there is also a need for a hot water tank-what used to be an immersion heater tank in the UK- but new houses don’t have them nor is the space for one. Its difficult to know why our govt believes these huge units needing tanks, better insulation, over large radiators and new plumbing and electrics will be eagerly installed by the general public in our small houses. That’s without even considering the cost or that they work best if left on for long periods, rather than the instant heat most UK homes are used to in the morning and when they get home from work

I have a “stick-built” house, 1980’s vintage. The walls are built with so called 2 by 4s, meaning wood that is 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches. The 3.5 inch void is filled with fiberglass insulation. (New construction uses 2x6s, so 5.5 inches of void with insulation.) The house is just one floor, 1,600 square feet. It was built with ducts under the floor and a return air-duct in the center ceiling of the house. Near the center is an enclosure for a heater/air-conditioner, and a water tank. Water is heated with electrical resistance bars; hot water is piped to kitchen and bathrooms.
I have a Trane heat pump built and installed about 20 years ago. It looks similar to the one in this photo:
      Trane-xl18i-2-Stage-Condenser.jpg (734×979) (dsairandheat.com)
The image at this site is just one type of system – the stacked boxes are the components of the air-handler. Mine is hidden in closet because it is in the center of the one-story house.
The Anatomy of a Ductwork System – How Your Ducts Are Built | Dust Doctors Blog (dust-doctors.com)

The two units (inside / outside) work together to move heat into the house, or to move heat out of the house. Such a system does not use radiators. Warm air comes up from under the floor at covered outlets. Search images for “floor registers air outlets.” The tank for hot water is a totally separate unit.
Newer heat pumps are more efficient. Mine, when outside temperature is well below freezing the “air handler” switches to resistant heating (uses more electricity). I use a modern wood stove with a catalytic burner as supplemental and emergency heat. Except for the work required of me, the wood is free. I burned about 3 cords this past winter season.
Because heat pumps require electricity, except in rare situations, any house will need an emergency source of heat.
My current “Energy Delivered” cost is $0.1021/kwh. There is also a monthly set fee of $26.60 called a Facility Charge. The rate is set once each year and does not vary otherwise.

        >There is also a monthly set fee of [USD ?] $26.60 called a Facility Charge.

Assuming that’s electricity, ours went from NZ$0.33 to $1.20 per day or $36 per 30 day month.

Even if a consumer, as I have, has REDUCED consumption over the increase period.

Facility charge = Lines charge i.e. the cost of upgrading and maintaining local lines distribution infrastructure.

I never know what people in different countries have in mind when they say “heat pump”

For me its a split system air conditioner (heating and cooling). For some friends of ours its their hot water system. People in the UK (I think) mean a furnace replacement for hydronic heating.

          Trump Second-Shooter Theory Emerges

The author of the piece Matt Riley, has 10 plus years military intelligence experience.

          https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2024-07-19/trump-second-shooter-theory-emerges

          Backdrop:

          The Second Shooter

          The Patsy

          The Heavy

          The Setting

          The Water Tower

People who want to remain safe from difficult thoughts or critical thinking will no doubt start shrieking “CONSPIRACY THEORY!” And they will surely have no idea how thick the irony is, that the very term “conspiracy theory” was concocted by the security state to discredit the now indisputable reality that there was more than one shooter involved in a previous Presidential assassination.

How would this theory be proven out? This of course assumes there was a legitimate investigation conducted by a competent authority with no doors closed to them. (Because the FBI and DHS will bury any real evidence under Jimmy Hoffa’s body, right next to the identity of the J6 pipe bomber) It will be very difficult and will likely come down to angle analysis and audio analysis to determine differences in the time distance of arrival of various sounds.

While it is plausible that The Patsy could pull this off solo, it is remarkable unlikely. The round that clipped President Trumps ear was incredibly accurate. If not for a remarkably timed turn of the head, it would have been perfect. But the one thing even the best sniper can’t control for is the targets movement during the 3/10th of a second bullet time of flight. Remember, if The Heavy was timing their shot with the decision of the unwitting Patsy, then they would not get to select the moment to engage. Otherwise, a shooter would prefer to wait until President Trump is finished engaging with and pointing at the visual graphic he was using. Fortunately for America, The Patsy got spooked by a local PD sticking his head up over the top of a ladder and his hand was forced on the timing.</em>

The above 2nd Theory article is in 2 Parts, 2nd Part by Matt Riley, 1st Part (Backdrop) is by Vincent Lanci.

            Lanci says this in Backdrop:

Great communication yields far greater truths than the sum of its parts.

Post the Trump Assassination attempt, the Legacy mainstream media has been slow to explore obvious contradictions and holes in timelines surrounding the roles and responsibilities of various parties involved in the event, including but not limited to Government agencies.

Fortunately in what may be a watershed moment for the New Media to help shed light— and at least move investigative processes forward in a more timely manner giving events such as Presidential candidate assassination attempts the urgency needed— others are on the case.

The New Media is comprised of people with expertise and experience in pressure cooker environments able to interact, then develop and stress-test ideas quickly. Further, these quicker turnaround processes are facilitated by open culture free-speech media platforms, like X.Com.

In effect the X platform is a new community plaza where people meet and ideas are exchanged in full view of the whole community to be tested and rejected or accepted more efficiently than the legacy news media currently does.

There are many others discussing the shooting timeline in parallel threads with similar conclusions. We’d also suggest looking at the timelines of Alchemist Jedi and Chris Martenson for other insights as well as our own.

In Sum of the Above: The whole of great communication—imperfect as it is with risk of error— yields far greater truths than the the sum of its atomized parts.

We do not necessarily agree or disagree with the following theory, regardless, the topic discussed below must be explored further now. It needs to be out there.

            -Vincent Lanci

This instant airing of theories and scenarios was simply not possible for JFK. the Feds and MSM must absolutely hate The New Media.

Matt Riley uses the term “Tier 1 military snipers”

Tier 1 units in the U.S. military

In the United States military, there are only four officially acknowledged Tier 1 Special Mission Units:

DELTA Force (1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta) – U.S. Army

SEAL Team 6 (Naval Special Warfare Development Group, DEVGRU) – U.S. Navy

            Riley:

            The Heavy

Needless to say, in a multiple shooter scenario, the primary shooter responsible for actually taking out the target would be highly skilled. Nearly any random Joe can be a tack driver from a bench rest at 250 yards with a quality rifle, but the quality and skills found at the highest levels of military and covert operations is hard for most people to fathom. Being precisely accurate is not even the half of it. Timing shots to align with elements out of the shooters control, while also maintaining situational awareness of a near infinite amount of variables is the hard part.

For an example; let us recall the level of technical execution required to save Captain Richard Phillips in 2009. A pair of Tier 1 military snipers timed near simultaneous shots to save him. The first shooter fired to break a window, which initiated a second shooter to make a head shot on a Somali pirate holding Philips hostage. Oh, and both the shooters, and the target where on separate moving boats in the Indian Ocean. It was a relatively short range shot, but we are highlighting the factors of taking a hard shot beyond simple marksmanship.

            Now we’re talking.

            20

          • #
            Richard C in NZ

            Riley,

While we do not yet have direct evidence of a second shooter, there is mounting evidence to show The Patsy did not take the accurate shot that clipped President Trumps right ear. For the sake of our working theory, this second highly professional and accurate shooter will be called “The Heavy”

            The Setting

The area immediately surrounding the Butler Pennsylvania rally location is relatively flat. So if The Heavy was going to fire from the same approximate angle as The Patsy, then they would likely need to be located in the same AGR International building complex. The lapse in counter sniper security around AGR is indisputable. If The Patsy can loiter around the site for 30 minutes and clumsily make his way to the ridge cap of the closest roof to President Trump outside the Secret Service perimeter, then its safe to assume The Heavy could gain an elevated position at a greater distance without being detected. The AGR complex is constituted by several buildings with varying roof types, but the two roofs I want to highlight are both low slope metal roofs of about a 1-12 rise/run profile. Sorry Kimberly Cheatle, that is about as flat as a roof gets.

The Heavy would need to be as close as possible to the same shooting angle as The Patsy (Co-angle), and preferable have direct visibility of The Patsy to time the shots. In this scenario, The Patsy wouldn’t even need to be aware of The Heavy’s existence. We can see on Google Earth that there is an ideal location within the AGR complex. The location labeled as The Heavy in the attached photos is; slightly higher elevated compared to The Patsys shooting position, on the exact same angle relative to President Trumps position, and only about 100 yards further away.

            See Site Photos.

            00

          • #

            Riley,

            The Setting continued

The building with blue AGR sign in the photo above [see photo] has some unique features. From the angle shown above it appears to be a flat roof, but it is actually 1-12 pitched as shown in the photo below [see photo]. It also has cosmetic skirting on two sides. So if The Heavy set up on the ridge cap of the building, they would be visibly shielded from the road. Egress would be slightly problematic because there does not appear to be an internal roof access for concealment. But, you wouldn’t have to be Jason Bourne to jump down to the Westward adjoining roof, then to the ground. And everyone might be slightly distracted by other events in the area.

The “cosmetic skirting” is ideal concealment in an “elevated position” but I wonder what can be seen by USSS Spotters/Snipers (4) at the rally site?

            Riley,

            The Water Tower

There is information and potential witnesses citing the water tower as the location of a second shooter. That may end up being the case, but here are four reasons why I don’t think it’s true.

            1. The giant projector screen President Trump was using obstructs the water towers view of the rally stage where he was located. This may have been intentional on the Secret Services part, but that’s a stretch give their other failures.

            2. It’s incredibly difficult, if not impossible to make a hasty, unnoticed egress from the water tower. Of all the things to witness, you would think a person climbing down a tower ladder, or someone going full Mission Impossible and repelling down would get noticed.

            3. Some of the audible witnesses clearly seem to have heard something coming from a different location than The Pasty. If the witnesses were located to the West of the AGR complex, then the roof where we theorize The Heavy would fire from could be in the same direction as the water tower. Any “eyewitness” videos that state something to the effect “they said there was a shooter in the tower” should be immediately dismissed. In a sniper environment, eyes will naturally gravitate to the highest object with suspicion, and the rumor mill will run wild. If they didn’t directly see a shooter, or a puff of smoke from the water tower with their own eyes, then they are not an eyewitness.

            4. If an accurate shot were to come from the water tower and actually kill President Trump, it would generate evidence of a second shooter due to the elevation and angle difference from The Patsy. Why create problems for a cover-up if you don’t have to?

            [Ends]

These 4 points are self evident in my opinion, which is probably Opinion #16,258,431 at this stage.

            Ok but where?

I’ve posted ‘Tier 1 units in the U.S. military’ upthread:

            SEAL Team 6 – U.S. Navy

24th Special Tactics Squadron – U.S. Air Force

Intelligence Support Activity (ISA) – CIA

Money talks. There’s plenty of Billionaires with money to throw around and are actually doing so – Reid Hoffman comes to mind.

Not suggesting it was him but anyone like that, including within BlackRock could easily “persuade” a Tier 1 sniper, not necessarily still in those forces but retired.

Ex US military personnel are working as mercenaries in Ukraine but why travel that far for peanuts when there’s high paying work at home?

“The FBI Is Where Evidence Goes to Die – They are the Mop-Up Men for Crimes of the State” – Mike Benz on the FBI’s Lone Gunman Claim in Trump Assassination Attempt (VIDEO)

      https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/fbi-is-where-evidence-goes-die-they-are/

Mike Benz: “The FBI is where evidence goes to die. They are the mop-up men for crimes of the state. They have been for a century now, but particularly in the past 20 years. It’s so gross as to basically when they make us never believe something until the FBI officially denies it.

This is a situation where they made a formal determination it was a lone gunman before the night was even over. They already made their conclusion before they started the investigation.

Then you the fact that there was not a single social media post, now over 100 hours since the event took place, not a single X post, Facebook post, Instagram post, Reddit post. You don’t just get the idea to assassinate the President of the United States without something so extreme that it tilts the entire world on its axis unless you have some community you’re interacting with that is encouraging you, goading you on or radicalizing you.

      And,

The FBI was at his house for four hours before they disclosed a name. That means they have the IP When you have someone’s IP address, the router that they’re using the Internet from, you know everything. You know their search history, you know what they plugged into Google, you know what they bought in their Amazon shopping carts, you know every connection node you could possibly ask for.

        Mueller special counsel investigation
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mueller_special_counsel_investigation

But it was a raging financial success, apparently:

        Cost–benefit analysis

A cost–benefit analysis of the investigation shows a net benefit for the government, with far more income than expenses.

By December 2018, the investigation had cost approximately $32 million[148] but gained approximately $48 million. More than half of the cost of the investigation was for personnel compensation and benefits. The gains were accrued primarily by uncovering unpaid taxes by targets in the investigation, seizing assets, and collecting fines.[149]

Hawley: Briefing with Secret Service Director ‘Did Not Go Well’ — ‘She Was Not Well-Prepared’

        https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2024/07/19/hawley-briefing-with-secret-service-director-did-not-go-well-she-was-not-well-prepared/

        CAVUTO: How did it go?

        HAWLEY: Badly.

I mean, let’s be honest, the Secret Service is out there and the FBI now doing these secret calls, these behind-the-scenes briefings, where, by the way, they don’t really answer questions. They limited — strictly limited the number of questions. The Secret Service director herself did not actually brief. She was present on the call, but didn’t do hardly any briefing.

When she did try to answer a question or two, it did not go well. She was not well-prepared. This needs to be done in public, bottom line. We need public hearings. We need a full and thorough investigation.

CAVUTO: … But, to your point, Senator, she has indicated she’s not stepping down. She intends to stay there. And unless the president and/or Alejandro Mayorkas, her boss at Homeland Security, pushes her out, she’s there, right?

        HAWLEY: Yes.

Nobody — here’s the pattern, Neil. Nobody in this administration is ever responsible, ever takes any responsibility for anything. Look at Afghanistan, 13 service members dead, hundreds, if not thousands of civilians left behind to the enemy. And what did Joe Biden do? Nothing. Who was fired? Nobody.

After being made redundant back in the early 80s, I went to work for a friend who had an industrial roofing business. I worked with him for over two years and spent a lot of time on the very same type of roof that the shooter used. Believe me, there is no way a person could walk or crawl around on a roof like that without the people inside hearing him. He also had equipment – bag, gun, rangefinder, phone – that he was apparently moving around, on a creaky metal roof that acts like a drum skin.

So how come the crack security people actually inside that building heard nothing, not even the ‘clang’ of a ladder being put in place?

Steve >So how come the crack security people actually inside that building heard nothing

They were not inside that building (Building 4, South end).

They were in the top of the 2 story block at the back (West side) of Building 3 which is first North of 4, where they had visibility from the windows. Plenty of photos and drone video in yesterday’s thread (but see next comment for links).

There were 3 guys in the Building and they weren’t “crack security”. They were the local force that had the responsibility of the area outside the USSS perimeter.

Lots of denial of responsibility but ultimately the overall responsibility was USSS. We will know the full details of the security breakdown in about 5 years after investigations are complete.

Or 10 years, may take longer. Maybe never.

Steve >So how come the crack security people actually inside that building heard nothing

In addition to my first reply, there’s another aspect.

From the Mike McDaniel article linked upthread:

‘That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there’s a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn’t want to put somebody up on a sloped roof,’ she told ABC News in an interview Tuesday.

“She” is Kim Cheatle, the Director of the Secret Service.

‘And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.’

            McDaniel

What?! One only secures a building from the inside if they expect someone to assault the building, not when the threat is outside the building.

“A safety factor that would be considered” – after the shooting there was cops on the roof, a SWAT team, a photo of at least 4 at a time, a guy washing it down.

No safety gear required – almost like it was a flat roof.

              >So how come Cheatle, talking about the building the assassin used said the sloping roof was unsafe so she put people INSIDE it instead?

Cheatle hasn’t got the foggiest clue about the operation. That building was outside the perimeter of USSS responsibility; it was the Butler police who were in there.

Question is did the Butler police want personnel on the roof and were they overruled by USSS?
Cheatle just made an off-the-cuff cover-her-a*** reply that was ridiculed all over, never mind the on-site details spoke otherwise. As McDaniel puts it:

In a sane presidential administration, Cheatle would have already been fired. Now? Well, she fits right in with all the other executives in the Mummified Meat Puppet Administration.

There’s nothing sane about the entire Administration, from Afghanistan to Border to Gaza Pier to ……[insert debacles here].

          https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2024-07-19/media-has-finally-once-and-all-lost-all-credibility

For example, CNN famously described 2020 Black Lives Matters riots as “fiery, but mostly peaceful.”

In 2021, when the governor of South Dakota banned biological men from participating in female sports, CNN promptly reported that, “there is no consensus criteria for assigning sex at birth.”

NBC News was caught in 2021 colluding with the Biden administration to downplay the criminal past deeds of Tracy Stone-Manning, who the President had nominated to lead the Bureau of Land Management.

Stone-Manning was an eco-terrorist in her youth who was involved in tree-spiking activities that kill or maim loggers. But NBC News promised to take it easy on her to help push her appointment through.

Also in 2021, however, NBC News (along with just about every other mainstream ‘news’ outlet) hyped unproven allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh that went back 30 years.

And when #MeToo protestors stormed the United States Capitol and accosted Senators in an attempt to disrupt and overturn the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, the media did not label these protestors ‘domestic terrorists’, as they did with January 6 protesters.

    1924 vs 2024

In 1924, 100 years ago the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge began construction.
The laying of the foundation stone for one of the southern abutments occurred on 26 March 1925.
The Arch construction began on 26 October 1928.
The bridge was opened 19th March 1932.

The bridge is an engineering Masterclass.

Now It is 2024… And with that, we have all the wonders and advantages of our 21st century technology, engineering and geological expertise….
Yet, our “net nothing”, “Snowy 2.0”, has only enabled TBM “Florence”, in 2 years of ops , to bore just a little longer than the length of the Sydney Harbour Bridge … and there is still approx 14km of the headrace tunnel to go

Unlike 1924, this is an engineering………

The original real engineers of the Snowy Hydro Scheme knew about this possible extension to the scheme when they designed it in the 1940’s and 1950’s. It was never done because they knew it would not be economically viable and their geotechnical studies also probably showed that the rock would be a nightmare to tunnel through.

They also did not have the need for pumped storage as there was a healthy surplus of cheap coal generation 24/7.
Australias first Pumped hydro facility , Tumit 3, was not built until the late ‘60 s when the need for “peaking” capacity became significant.
Current intermittent generation of Wind & Solar make pumped hydro storage an attractive / essential option to batteries.
Neither did they have the tunneling technology that is available today which can make projects like this feasible.
SN2 is expensive, badly managed, over budget, and way off schedule,….. but it is still much better value than the equivalent capacity batteries.

In a recent Tom Nelson podcast, Tom Shula and Markus Ott, presentation points out that emission from the earth’s surface is decoupled from emission at the TOA by greenhouse gasses losing their energy via collisions with other gasses to produce sensible heat in the atmosphere. Via convective processes this is tranmsmitted to the TOA where most of the energy is transferred to water vapour and then emitted to space. Very interesting talk.

At the end Tom Shula points out that if you take the total irradient energy received by the earth from the sun minus 30% for albedo for a year, the total human energy production (most of which produces CO2) is 0.008% of that from the sun.

This speaks to TdF’s comment yesterday on the fact that the rise in CO2 is constant despite human emissions growing exponentially over the past century. Basically, human productions are a very small part of the earth’s energy budget.

    GLOBAL COMPUTER MELTDOWN

    1) Back in the day, software updates were thoroughly tested before being rolled out.

    2) A defective software update from a third party also caused a fundamentally defective Microsloth operating system to fail.

    3) When such disasters occur my immediate reaction is to check the DEI policy of the company:

    https://www.crowdstrike.com/careers/diversity-equity-and-inclusion/

    4) Elon Musk also apparently is blaming DEI for the disaster:

    https://www.crowdstrike.com/careers/diversity-equity-and-inclusion/

“Not very ‘bright’ right now, is it?” Musk wrote on X, formerly Twitter, Friday morning in reply to a more than two years old post from CrowdStrike. In that post, the Austin, Texas-based firm said it was proud to be a “Gold Partner” of recruiting company Bright Network’s panel on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

    4) Don’t do business with woke DEI companies!

    Get woke. Go broke.

Worse, we are now at the point where DEI policies are getting people killed such as the killing of an audience member during the failed President Trump assassination, who himself came within a cm or two of being killed. (Woke, DEI hire Secret Service.)

Canuckistan has a new DEI hire as head of its armed forces.

    https://x.com/JustinTrudeau/status/1813962343162007984

She also has an Aussie connection and was involved in messing up Australia’s military as well, such aa helping promote women into combat roles which led to a lowering of physical standards for combat soldiers.

She also introduced ballroom dancing and “sexual conduct training” into the Canuckistan military…

We all know militaries, to be effective, must have ballroom dancing expertise and emasculated men.

    From Wikipedia:

“In May 2012, she and a few other female members of the Canadian Armed Forces, toured Australia giving talks about their combat experiences in an effort to help promote women in combat positions, something Australia was still contemplating at the time. In July 2013, Carignan became commandant of the Royal Military College Saint-Jean and in the same year received the Hermès Award for excellence in administration. Carignan introduced sexual conduct training for all officer candidates and also reintroduced ballroom dance classes which had been discontinued in the 1990s.”

And when they say she had “combat experience”, it appears to be not actual fighting but being in a peace helping unit and mine clearance.

On the US election, what is amazing to me is that the Democratic party in the last eight years has not run on its record or policies.
It is all about Donald Trump as the devil, Hitler reincarnated, a NAZI, a threat to humanity and world peace.
Even when he was President he was impeached twice, for Ukraine and Russia.
And since tied up in endless fake devastating court cases organized directly from the White House.

The world can now compare the terms of two men as President.

    Voters should be comparing

    response to the Wuhan Flu
    Economy
    Out of control immigration
    inflation
    Afghanistan
    Ukraine
    Israel
    China
    Wuhan Flu
    Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah
    Suez/Yemen
    Russia
    Hunter Biden in Ukraine, China

but it’s all about the devil himself. Trump.

I do not recall any election in which one side avoided all discussions to
focus solely on why Trump must be in the bullseye, must not succeed at any cost, must be stopped.
And why the DHS/Security service looked the other way when they saw a shooter.

There is a real desperation to attack Trump personally, as there has been for the last ten years.

An assassination attempt was as predictable as night and day.
And commentators even overseas who are upset that the amateur assassin failed. People who have no involvement in
US politics want to have their say in the US election, even on assassination.

Meanwhile European leaders are pushing for WWIII against Russia, the very thing the world has been trying to avoid for 80 years. Assuming America will defend them from a devastating nuclear or even conventional response. Zelensky is asking the new UK Labor government for permission to fire on Moscow. What next?

And no one remembers that millions died from a Chinese Military biological weapon released with the full support of the UN/WHO. And created in a French Lab with illegal US funding.

It’s a substitute for discussing anything. What actually happened in Afghanistan in 24 hours, for example, after two decades of war. Or massive world uncontrolled immigration. Why Biden paid $6 billion for six Iranian hostages and what followed. Why Iran was allowed build Nuclear weapons by successive Obama administrations, an Islamic dictatorship which has openly promised the total destruction of Israel.

TDS is a distraction to prevent any public examination of US policy, domestic or international. And avoids for example any public examination of why Dr Fauci illegally funded gain of function viral research in Wuhan. Or why Mayorkas, also in charge of the Secret Service, is pulling millions of people into US cities. From war zones or Haiti or Gaza or anywhere, any sh*thole country he can find. It’s an intriguing disease with remarkable similarities to another debilitating disease known as ‘Leftism’. They share quite a few symptoms and can be difficult to differentiate.

I have seen quite a few sufferers online, where they have attended some sort of protest against Trump, or simply asked about him. The interviewer first confirms that the person has the disease by asking about Trump, whereupon the patient will say something like “Trump is racist.” A sound diagnosis however, requires that the interviewer follows-up with something like, “Can you give me some examples of Trump’s racism?” At this point, the patient will often lose the ability to speak, other than to mutter and do lots of “Errrm …” and “Aaaah …ummm.” This apparent seizure usually concludes with an episode of Tourette’s before remembering they left the iron on at home.

Apparently some Leftists are claiming that none of them incited violence against President Trump.

How about these (from Victor Davis Hanson):

By slugging his face (Robert De Niro),
by decapitation (Kathy Griffin, Marilyn Manson),
by stabbing (Shakespeare in the Park),
    by clubbing (Mickey Rourke),
    by shooting ( Snoop Dogg),
    by poisoning (Anthony Bourdain),
    by bounty killing (George Lopez),
by carrion-eating his corpse (Pearl Jam),
    by suffocating (Larry Whilmore),
by blowing him up (Madonna, Moby),
by throwing him over a cliff (Rosie O’Donnell),
just by generic “killing” him (Johnny Depp, Big Sean)
or by martyring him (Reid Hoffman: “Yeah, I wish I had made him an actual martyr.”).

Or should we deplore the use of telescopic scope imagery, given that the left blamed Sarah Palin for once using bullseye spots on an election map of opposition congressional districts, claiming that such usage had incited the mass shooting by Jared Lee Loughner?

Yet recently, POTUS Joe Biden was a little bit more graphic and a lot more literal.

In a widely reported call to hundreds of donors last week, Biden boasted: “I have one job, and that’s to beat Donald Trump. I’m absolutely certain I’m the best person to be able to do that. So, we’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.”

    “In a bullseye”?

    And Biden also said:

“If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”

Hopefully, when President Trump is elected, some or all of these people will be aggressively prosecuted for inciting violence. Incitement of violence is not a free speech issue and is illegal and has been determined to be so in the US. There are no First Amendment protections for inciting violence.

Causality Analysis Finds Temperature Changes Have Determined CO2 Changes Since The Phanerozoic

    From the NoTricksZone

    By Kenneth Richard

A comprehensive new study details a stochastic assessment determination of the sequencing of CO2 variations versus temperature variations since the 1950s, over the last 2,000 years (the Common Era), and throughout the last 541 million years.

The robust conclusion is that the causality direction – with the understanding that causes lead and effects lag – clearly shows the temperature changes lead and CO2 changes lag on yearly, decadal, and centennial/millennial scales. In other words, “the reverse causality direction [CO2]→T should be excluded.”

The claim that CO2 increases drive temperature changes is thus a “narrative” only, as the claim that “humans, through their emissions by fossil fuel burning, are responsible for the changes we see in climate” can be regarded as a “non-scientific issue.”

Very simply, 98% of all CO2 gas is freely dissolved in the oceans and the human experience of dissolved CO2 is that warmer beer goes flat faster.

If warming and increased CO2 have a correlation, the likelihood is that warming increases CO2, not that CO2 causes warming. So Man Made CO2 driven Global Warming is a series of propositions which read better in reverse. Warming driven CO2 evaporation increasing life on earth.

And this is supported by all our observations. Although biology ignorant NASA call the role of CO2 as ‘fertilization’. That is either deliberately misleading or they should stick to putting people in space and leave plant biology, organic chemistry and biochemistry to others.

Plus excess highly soluble CO2 goes back into the water increasing plants in the water too.

      80

      • #
        TdeF

Plus I looked at the NASA/CSIRO story of tree cover increasing between 1988 and 2014 by the size of the continental USA and drew conclusions. That is an increase of 14% in area for trees. The CO2 increase is also 14% in that period. CO2 is the limiting factor for tree growth, not water or sunshine or trace elements. The deserts are blooming.

Perhaps the most important conclusion is that increasing trees does not decrease CO2. So tree farms, agriculture based carbon credits are scientifically wrong.
And finally that as many trillions of tons of CO2 have been sequestered and CO2 is not changed, that atmospheric CO2 is a constant regardless of inputs and outputs. Therefore it is determined by the same factors as Henry’s Law, air pressure, concentration and temperature. All of which relate to the kinematics of evaporation and nothing else.. Not human activity at all.

We do not need any more proofs that Man Made CO2 driven Global Warming is the complete reverse of the truth.

I changed my car recently and of course had no choice but to replace my old, low-tech car with a computer on wheels. I eventually went for one which, while it has all/most of those unwanted bells and flutes, they can be easily disabled or even require that you choose to have them on (off by default). Of those that are permanently on, the implementation seems to be relatively good, with one or two exceptions.

But apart from those systems giving me the irrits, another important issue – which has always been considered sound advice in the past – is, the more ‘features’ there are, the more there is to go wrong and, as others have pointed out, diagnosing and fixing errors is beyond most DIY mechanics. I have always serviced and fixed my own cars but that’s probably over now. Mind you, I’m too old, creaky and unbendy now to fold myself under the dashboard or crawl under the car.

One ‘driver aid’ on my new Honda is a type of cruise control that works in slow, crawling traffic. Once engaged, the car will roll along slowly while maintaining distance, braking and stopping when necessary. I’ve tried it out and it works fine, but I don’t think I’ll use it again because, at my age, I worry I might think I switched it on but didn’t, then run into the car in front.

OTOH, the ‘regular’ (radar) cruise is a bit naff. It’s rather paranoid, wasting fuel in an effort to avoid breaking the speed limit when going downhill. It will actually apply the brakes. In most situations, this isn’t necessary and, if the downhill section is followed by another uphill, I would rather let the car overspeed a little and use that to help get up the next hill. Yes, I am that stingy. Currently averaging 6.7l/100km.

I used to hate ‘lane keeping assistance’ but find myself using it more and more, though only on motorways. Once again, my age seems to mean I am less able to maintain a straight line if I turn my head to look at something out the side of the vehicle – not a massive swerve but not dead straight like I used to be able to do. Having the lane keeper on long journeys is thus quite relaxing insofar as I’m not beating myself up for wandering in my lane all the time 🙂

I rented a newish Hyundai I30 in 2022, when I used the radar cruise it dropped from the 6th gear it was using when I was doing the speed control myself, and would apply the brakes if it still wanted to speed up downhill or it got closer to the car ahead.
Not a very economical way to drive on a long trip.

We May Be Just Weeks Away From an Engineered Global Financial Crash

A shocking report which shows we may only be weeks away from a deliberately created shock to the global financial systems that will see an engineered massive market crash.

If something happens to the markets people’s homes could be at serious risk as they may find their property values plunging and if the loan-to-value ratios are high they would be unable to sell the property to clear the debt.

A new global AI system will monitor every transaction and control every person on the planet. Privacy and financial independence will be gone. CBDC’s are actively being prepared to be rolled out as the war on cash intensifies.

The globalists have built a new financial system which has been built undercover ready to be rolled out by November 2024.

The 2008 Credit Crisis was manufactured and planned ahead of time and played a major role in the creation of a new financial structure which the Globalists are planning to usher in starting in November 2024.

The greenhouse effect of methane traps up to 100 times more heat in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide within a 5 year period, and 72 times more within a 20 year period.

      1. Introduction

The radiative forcing (RF) due to changes in concentrations of the relatively well mixed greenhouse gases (WMGHGs) is the largest component of total RF due to human activity over the past century [Myhre et al., 2013a]. The headline RF values for CO2 , CH 4, and N 2O presented in recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessments [e.g., Myhre et al., 2013a] are calculated using simplified expressions presented in the IPCC Third Assessment Report [Ramaswamy et al., 2001, section 6.3.5]. These were largely based on the work of Myhre et al. [1998, henceforth MHSS98]. MHSS98 used updated RF calculations to modify expres-sions adopted by IPCC in its first assessment [Shine et al., 1990] which originated from earlier work of Hansen et al. [1988] and Wigley [1987]. The MHSS98 expressions have been widely used elsewhere, for example, for calculating WMGHG RF in simple climate models and in NOAA’s Annual Greenhouse Gas Index (http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/aggi/aggi.html (accessed 11 November 2016)). Other similar simplified expressions have been proposed [e.g., Shi, 1992; Byrne and Goldblatt, 2014], and Hansen et al. [2000] presented updates to the Hansen et al. [1988] fits.

      2. Methods
The RF calculations use the Oslo line‐by‐line (OLBL) code which was described in Myhre et al. [2006].

      From article:

The Costly Combination Of Urban Heat Islands And Climate Change

The combined impact of climate change and urban heat islands could cost some countries as much as 10% of their GDP or their total economic output. The study published in Nature indicated that warming due to climate change alone could reduce the GDP of the average city in 2050 by 0.9% in high global-warming scenarios. However, when combined with the urban heat island effect, this reduction could double, with the worst-off cities losing as much as 10% of their GDP by 2100.

      https://climatechangedispatch.com/climatologist-dont-blame-climate-change-for-an-unusually-warm-year-or-two/

He also seems to think that CO2 warming is a linear trend in temperature ~0.02 deg. C per year:

But assuming the warming is entirely due to steadily increasing CO2 causing a slight (currently ~1%) energy imbalance in the climate system, then the warming that results is about ~0.02 deg. C per year.

Anything different from that small 0.02 deg. C per year warming is due to natural climate variability.

    A good point made elsewhere:

If the Democrats believe Biden is so frail and forgetful that he needs to be replaced as their candidate, shouldn’t they also remove him from the White House? How could he be unfit for re-election yet fit to remain president?

Which then opens up all sorts of questions about actually removing a sitting president. They surely have dug themselves a deep, muddy hole.

Of course there’s no way they will remove him at this stage, so close to the election, but it’s a fair observation and the media should be asking it. The only way out that I can see is getting him to resign due to poor health but, as I’ve said before, Dr. Jill ain’t going anywhere, at least not without enormous ‘compensation’.

      And,

In his report, released on Thursday, Mr Hur found Mr Biden, 81, had “willfully” retained classified files after leaving the vice-presidency in 2017.

That doesn’t mean he’d leave office as well, of course: that could happen, but there’s no certainty that he’d be prepared to bow out early. I suspect he’d be more likely to continue in office until his present term expires in January next year.

That could be a very big problem. Biden has already demonstrated on repeated occasions that he can be vindictive, nasty and vengeful to those he thinks have slighted him. Just how much damage could a lame-duck president do in the final half-year of his term in office? I suspect the answer is “A heck of a lot!” ”
