Satire is the ultimate weapon

By Jo Nova

Like a sabre:

“I am the ultimate diversity hire, I’m both a woman and a person of color, so if you criticize anything I say, you’re both a sexist and a racist”

AI will destroy jobs… (hopefully one in particular).

But both sides can use this tool — to construct a narrative, as well as to destroy it.

Reality may become very hard to find with unmarked Deepfake voices “on the loose” — especially if there is no shared public forum to hammer out the truth. That seems like a brilliant but dangerous game. The thing about great satire, as opposed to deepfake lies, is that when it’s done well, and it speaks the truth (in a fake voice), the target wouldn’t want to draw attention to it by denying they said it.

But perhaps we need an AI watermark…

Kamala Harris is the Meghan Markle of American politics

The similarities between the Vice President and the Duchess are truly uncanny

There had always been something strangely familiar about Kamala Harris. But I couldn’t quite put my finger on it – until she emerged from Joe Biden’s shadow after the US President announced his resignation on Sunday.

The penchant for spouting word salad; the slightly awkward misplaced laughter; the courting of chat show hosts; the celebrity iPhone moments; the loathing of Donald Trump; the unfortunate bullying allegations.

And then the penny dropped. Meghan! Kamala Harris reminds me of the Duchess of Sussex.

As she continues to spoon Montecito jam into jars, I wonder what Prince Harry’s wife is thinking right now. It has been suggested that Meghan one day dreamed of being the first mixed race, female President of the United States. Now Harris could beat her to it.

Meghan was once the toast of Oprah Winfrey. Now Harris is the darling of the US chat show scene, having been salivated over by Drew Barrymore.

Meghan once actively sought out a relationship with Michelle and Barack Obama, now they are busily endorsing Harris’s presidency. (Was it just me or did that staged phone call between the Obamas and Harris have shades of Meghan telling Harry “Beyonce’s just texted”, just as the Netflix cameras were conveniently rolling?).

And the rhetoric! Both Meghan and Kamala spout this sort of pseudo-spiritual psychobabble that sounds perfectly progressive but doesn’t always make that much sense.

The Duchess once declared: “Reflecting on where I came from helps me to appreciate and balance what I have now.” But on reflection, might she have preferred to have come up with Harris’s now-infamous catchphrase: “What can be, unburdened by what has been”.

I mean, if you heard Meghan uttering these words at some point during the Sussexes’ 2019 tour of South Africa, you really wouldn’t have batted an eyelid, so accustomed had you become to her sociology-degree speaking style.

Suburban moms focused on Kamala’s intersectionalism ignore their kids’ futures

The two greatest demographic bulwarks of the modern Democrat Party are urban blacks and suburban college-educated women.

The first is a true mystery, given the degradation of our cities under 70 years of straight Democrat control. The second, though, is a less explored, greater mystery for at least one large subgroup: Those suburban college-educated women with children.

Over the last 40 years (and accelerating over the last 15), there has been a significant decline in all types of education metrics in the US. Math scores. Reading scores. And try to get the average high schooler (or even college student) to write you a structured, grammatical, and coherent paragraph!

Working with students over the past 40 years, I’ve witnessed this decline firsthand—and my experience has been with “well-educated” college and post-graduate students.

A friend who teaches chemistry at a local university told me that he was concerned that incoming freshmen would be unable to handle the subject matter of introductory chemistry. Not coincidentally, that university dropped the SATs as a requirement for admission five years ago.

Their core proficiencies—math and reading/writing—are documented to be spiraling down.

Yet their mothers keep voting for the same cabal that has inflicted this deterioration on our society!

Perhaps Einstein was correct in his assessment of insanity and repeating the same actions/behavior.

Now, with Harris, we have—in the flesh—the epitome of what a disintegrating educational system produces: a person who is the living embodiment of the Peter Principle (on steroids), who cannot string together coherent thoughts and phrases, not because she has dementia but because she is what the Western education system produces.

Despite this, voters, led by those college-educated women, may soon entrust her with the nuclear codes.

It is scientifically proven that spermatazoa tunnel their way into the human brain. The Y chromosome DNA is found there (in women never pregnant with male fetuses). Kamala is a exemplar of haploid cytology mixed with molto Columbian marching powder intranasally. If she enters office the communists have won!

A factor here is that many of these have teenage daughters who may or may not be sexually active.

Things are beginning to look up!

In michael ramirez cartoon why the reference to kamala harris falling out of a coconut tree

Based on the provided search results, there is no direct mention of Michael Ramirez cartoon referencing Kamala Harris falling out of a coconut tree.

The search results primarily focus on the meme’s origins from a speech Harris gave in May 2023, where she quoted her mother saying “You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” to illustrate the idea that individuals exist within a broader context and are shaped by their surroundings.

The meme has since been used humorously to describe Harris’s campaign and persona, with various users and politicians adopting coconut-themed memes and emojis to express support for her.

THE WEEK IN PICTURES: QUEEN KAMALA I EDITION

The media is really going the extra mile to give “fake news” a bad name with its wholesale revisionism of Kamala Harris’s record. And as Charlie Cooke pointed out, it was nice having an objective media for a month, when it reported finally on Joe Biden’s infirmities.

The media is proclaiming Kamala as the greatest monarch-like girl-boss since Queen Elizabeth I, though I suspect more voters will see her as closer to Marie Antoinette: let them eat vegan cake!

Meanwhile, bye-bye Joe. Joe? Joe who? Never heard of him.

Notwithstanding the euphoria today {concerning Kamala), Trump will win the election by six points—forty-nine to forty-three percent—winning 339 electoral votes, including all of the so-called swing states, plus the Democratic-leaning states of Virginia, Minnesota, and New Hampshire. Republicans will pick up three or four seats in the Senate and perhaps twenty seats in the House, giving them safe majorities in both chambers. This will give Trump the margins he needs to implement a good piece of his agenda in 2025 and 2026.

We have seen the reaction of the assassination – pretty much “maahh”. The world has pretty much moved on very quickly, about 49% of the population wish it had succeeded, many openly. I think they’d find that encouraging to give it another crack.

Purely hypothetically, if Trump were to win (above the margin of cheating) and they kill him after the election they automatically get President Vance which might not seem like much of a win for the potential assassins.

On the other hand, if they assassinate Trump before the election…

AI is mostly controlled by the Left.

Even before AI the Left were feeding the world endless lies and propaganda.

The thinking community was generally aware that the Left lied most of the time and was aware of their lies but unfortunately most others believed many or most Leftist lies.

The Left are also superb propagandists, having learned many valuable lessons from their communist and National Socialist comrades and of course, their operations manual, Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty Four.

AI is not intrinsically Leftist in nature but the only corporations* with the resources to develop it are the evil Big Tech firms, the ones that control the social(ist) media and search engines and through their biases are known to suppress or cancel the opinion of conservatives including anyone questioning the “climate change”, covid or transgender Official Narratives, among others. They are also known to engage in election interference incorporating these and other biases.

Don’t forget also that long before AI the Left had infiltrated and taken over most Western institutions starting with the education system which they immediately dumbed-down and modified to ensure critical thinking, basic Judeo-Christian morality, history, general knowlege including science etc. was no longer taught. It was all part of the German communist Rudi Dutschke’s 1967 plan of “The Long March Through the Institutions”.

Big Tech* works hand-in-hand with Big Government and Big Brother.

The AI search engines have been widely tested and undoubtedly incorporate many fabricated “facts” and conformity with The Official Narrative. Some of the more bizarre ones were to show that the American Founding fathers, Vikings, English kings and National Socialists were of African appearance. We know from historical evidence that that is simply not true. And when asked to draw pictures of criminals AI will only draw white criminals and refuses to draw them of any other race. E.g. see https://youtu.be/A7yEVfJraXU Surely thieves can be of any other race as well?

And in the ultimate expression of Leftist hypocrisy, AI data centres use staggering amounts of electrical power, five, ten times or more the already high consumption of traditional data centres. They can’t run on wind and solar like they expect non-Elites to. They have to run on cheap, reliable coal, gas, hydro and nuclear power.

    https://www.datacenterknowledge.com/next-gen-data-centers/welcome-to-the-era-of-the-nuclear-powered-data-center
Welcome to the Era of the Nuclear-Powered Data Center
The amount of energy that generative AI consumes can be pretty staggering. A single Google search can power a 100-watt light bulb for about 11 seconds. GPT-like instances can be anywhere from 600 to 800 times more powerful than a single Google search.

AI is basically taking the lies and propaganda of the Left and supercharging them to a whole new level and incorporating them in search engines and social media and generative AI and nearly every other aspect of life.

AI in one of its most common implementations in social media, search engines and generative AI is not therefore a force for good. It is also not good because it further relieves an already mostly dumbed-down population from their obligation to think, as if most people (present company excepted) are not already mindless drones.

    * Note, the above does not apply to Elon Musk who turned Twitter/X into a free speech platform for both the Left and the Thinking Community. He is also going to develop his own free thinking AI engine.

For the Australian Government to fully achieve its totalitarian objectives it will need to build massive data and AI centres consuming enormous amounts of power.

They will need to be powered by coal, gas, real hydro (not SH2) or nuclear. They will have to make exceptions to their woke anti-energy agenda to allow a suitable form of power.

With six years left for Google to meet its 2030 “net zero” climate commitment, the web giant has admitted its carbon emissions are rising.

In an environmental report [PDF] published on Tuesday, Google admitted that its greenhouse gas emissions rose 48 percent since 2019. In 2023 alone, the search giant’s carbon footprint topped 14.3 million tons of CO2 equivalents – up 13 percent from the prior year.

Chief sustainability officer Kate Brandt and SVP of learning and sustainability Benedict Gomes pinned the blame squarely on increased datacenter energy consumption.

Personally I see Kamala Harris is the deepest fake. I think she is promoted so many levels beyond her competence by at least one boyfriend, that she is breaking records on the Peter Principle of profound incompetence.

We are also told how she was a brilliant prosecutor, by people who could not know that. What was brilliant? Getting the job? And what did she do as Attorney General?

But if you listen to her repetitious, meaningless gibberish, she cannot hold a conversation. Her profound ignorance on simple subjects like Geography is amazing. Only as Vice President of the United States has she discovered the border or that Ukraine is smaller than Russia and next to Russia.

Her views on everything are just taken unthinking from the extreme left. She cannot defend them and does not try. Defund the police. Free abortion on demand. DEI of course. Jews murder children was her public statement statement immediately after meeting Netanyahu and agreeing publicly that Israel had a right to defend itself. Pelosi and fifty Democrats boycotted Netanyahu’s speech to congress. Then Kamala called him a liar, supporting Tlaib’s handsign in congress and aligning herself with Hamas.

To me she has no knowledge. A profoundly ignorant woman. On any subject. She doesn’t think illegal aliens should be treated as criminals. But isn’t that what a prosecutor does, prosecute the law? A politician changes the law. However she doesn’t talk about the law, changing the law. She says it should be ignored. A brilliant prosecutor? No. Her ignorance of the law, the meaning of the law, the core position of politicians in the writing of laws bypasses her completely. Like geography. Did she pass High School? Her public speaking is that of a benign kindergarten teacher at best. Looping lunacy, outright and unexplained cackling and serious stress without any meaning. She is a childish parody of a public speaker.

But her complete and obvious ignorance on so many essential subjects, like law, rights, geography, people, history makes her utterly unfit for the US Presidency which above all is to represent the United States overseas and as Commander in Chief and principal decision maker on international matters. Did she even pass high school?

And if she slept her way to the top in spectacularly successful fashion as is obvious from her long affair with Billy Brown, how much more unexamined competence and credibility does she have to be given just for being a woman? Why should American voters consider her for a moment for President? The total lack of knowledge, principles, morality, intelligence would not be tolerated in a male or white candidate for a second. She had not been to Europe, wherever that is.

It is beyond crazy that the most senior members of the Democrat party, the entire cabal of Obamas, Clintons, Pelosi who still push decrepit Joe Biden as ‘sharp as a tack’ are now telling the world she is the most brilliant candidate, the best person in America for the job? How do they have any credibility left?

And as current Vice President of the United States of America, Kamala Harris is the now most famous, most successful brainless bimbo in American political history. A black Marilyn Munroe nominated by the Kennedy brothers as perfect for the job of President. Smarter people will tell her what to do. The real deep fake is Kamala herself. But when you can deep fake Joe Biden for four years with the total loyalty of the press, it might work? And Kamala Harris will decide on WWIII with Russia. Which is next to Ukraine.

Elon Musk retweeted a masterpiece on Kamala Harris created by Mr. Reagan.

The ad showcases Kamala Harris, her strengths and her record.

      Here is the transcript:

“I, Kamal Harris, senior Democrat candidate for President because Joe Biden finally exposed his senility of debate. Thanks, Joe.

I was selected because I am the ultimate diversity hire. I’m both a woman and a person of color. So if you criticize anything I say, you’re both sexist and racist.

I may not know the first thing about running the country, but remember, that’s a good thing if you’re a deep state puppet. I had four years under the tutelage of the ultimate deep state puppet, a wonderful mentor, Joe Joe taught me rule number one, carefully hide your total incompetence.

I take insignificant things and I discuss them as if they’re significant. And I believe that exploring the significance of the insignificant is in itself significant. Talking about the significance of the passage of time, right? The significance of the passage of time. “So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time, and there is such great significance to the passage of time.”

And Another trick is trying to sound black. I pretend to celebrate Kwanza, and in my speeches, I always do my best Barack Obama impression. “So hear me when I say, I know Donald Trump’s type.”

And okay, look, maybe my work addressing the root causes of the border crisis were catastrophic, but my knowledge of international politics is truly shocking. “The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea. It is an alliance that is strong and enduring.”

Just remember, when voting this November, it is important to see what can be unburdened by what has been. And by what has been… I mean, Joe Biden.

Do you think the country went to over the past four years?

You ain’t seen nothing yet. (Cackle).”

How 29-year-old Kamala Harris began an affair with powerful San Francisco politician Willie Brown, then 60 and married, who appointed her to two lucrative positions only to dump her after he was voted first black mayor of the city
      https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8623781/Kamala-Harris-affair-San-Franciscos-black-mayor-Willie-Brown.html

Brown is notorious for his love of sports cars, flash designer suits and for being named one of the world’s 10 sexiest men by Playgirl magazine

He had also been seen with a ‘succession’ of beautiful women despite having been married for 25 years, being dubbed ‘the real Slick Willy’ by Bill Clinton

‘The measure of his flamboyance is he’ll go to a party with his wife on one arm and his girlfriend on the other,’ James Richardson, a reporter for the Sacramento Bee told People Magazine in 1996.

That’s a long way from a definition of the America I know, especially JD Vance. It is a country of enormous, complex, limitless depth. Generalizations do not work. Many if not most of the advances in the modern era are American. Then you get the self destructive French, as they just demonstrated again. Mad, but original.

The only area in which I have found Americans often deficient is geography. It just doesn’t have the attention there. I think this election will see the start of the Repulicans taking back the big cities as the black minority block swings from 90% Democrat to below 50%.

My point is about education. There are many types.

The elites are typically university educated, big city types on medium to high secure salaries in closed loop, often for generations. The bulk of the people aren’t so lucky. And then you get migrant groups in highly migrated countries which now means all Western countries. Amazingly the tactics of the selfish gene means that genius can come from anywhere. That has driven Western societies for a long time because you can rise to the top. Like JD Vance.

Plus people can have more practical and non political views of life. Even the Wizard of Oz made the point that a degree doesn’t make you clever and today there are vast numbers of useless degrees and a huge shortage of knowledgeable people. Plumbers, electricians, technicians, dental assistants. There’s real learned skill in most jobs. Which is why DEI is such a disaster.

I was pleased to see this at work in the recent YES campaign where the inner city educated readily voted YES and the rest of the people said the proposition was ludicrous and unacceptable and did nothing at all for aborigines. They saw right though it. Indoctrination is easier with the educated. Especially those who lack the street smarts of the survivor.

My particular concern are medical doctors and how susceptible they are to casual indoctrination by the press. I have slowly realised that after school days, they succeed by being able to absorb and repeat everything they hear as the acquired truth. Teachers don’t lie to them. Patients don’t lie to them. Other doctors don’t lie to them. Their job is memorise and repeat. Never question. And it makes them victims because the necessary skepticism for a scientist has been drummed out of them. Call them Teals. Only a few I know are free thinkers and they are scared to say anything at work. That’s indoctrination, not education.

…….. there’s something in her noodle that must be wrong

They must have dropped her on her head. But it is more likely a cover for total insecurity. Imagine the President of the United States of America laughing like a hyena. Or Kookaburra. And this is the proposition of people who still insist Joe Biden is ‘sharp as a tack’.

It is amazing, since Trump’s assassination (I don’t call it an attempt because it belittles what happened), Biden has gone from “we must cool the rhetoric” for as long as that sentenced lasted, to “Trump is a threat to democracy, he’s a dictator, we must unite.” The exact rhetoric that motivated the assassination.

This is too blatantly stupid to be an accident.

But perhaps we need an AI watermark…

Funny you should mention that, because yesterday I stumbled across an AI product that can remove hard-coded subtitles from a movie, replacing the original background. No more cheapo letterbox cropping!
    Nothing’s safe any more.

How can someone die of current covid strains, especially at the relatively young age of 64?

Unless he had a pre-existing condition, it was more likely that the vaxxines killed him. Ask any actuary from a life insurance company what is the first question they ask now and how it decides the cost? The mortality rate for all age groups is up and that includes the 18-30 yr once “untouchables”. But what makes it worse is the increase in cancers over all age groups. I will say no more as the real info is all out there (jessica rose substack) and I annoy Jo enough already.

Link states: “He always wore a mask”. He would have been better off using a nasal spray containing carrageenan than wearing a mask, it would have helped prevent infection and mitigate build up of the viral load in the nasal passage. As for his friends talking about vaccine boosters, better off having some zinc ionophores as well as vit C & D in the medicine cabinet

      I disagree RoHa,
The problems we’re facing are being implemented by an international cartel, which includes WEF. WHO, IPCC , big pharma, and MSM at least. We need to know what they’re up to. And with the US especially their upcoming election will decide our fate for sure.

Not a happy thought, but being aware just might save us. Or help us survive.

      Cheers,

Roha, The US election, and Donald Trump are extremely cogent to Austrailian and climate issues. Trump is the face of anti global one world GOVERMENT, and the primary creator and leader of “rational nationalism”, as well as the best shot at uniting the world under the theme of rational nationalism and mutually beneficial cooperation. He gained tremendous respect from many nations as the US President, including India, Mexico, many eastern European nations, the middle east, SE Asia, etc. The success of Donald Trump lends tremendous leverage to other nations trying to get out from underneath the Global Government tyrants using “Climate Change” as a club to greater power over others. The globalists have long targeted the US constituion based on individual liberty and limited government power. (The real reasons the US was the “light on a hill”)

The significance of this topic is that if Donald Trump is elected, the world domination by Climate Change disappears. He is part of a conserative cohort which is challenging the UN’s right to cripple Western democracies including Australia. Is Biden/Harris so different to Albanese/Bowen/Wong?

We are being told to keep quiet and look after our Great Barrier Reef? And we in Australia are being buried by domestic Climate Change legislation based on UN/IPCC agreements where politicians can and are obliged to change climates. Our very viability as a country is being destroyed. Our balance of trade. Our electricity supply and our right to burn coal, gas, oil even if we own them. Indigenous rights. Gay rights. Transvestite rights. Climate rights. Just Stop Oil rights.

And we are facing imminent war in the Pacific when China invades Taiwan, as the President of China has promised to do.

When Ukraine fires British long range missiles at Moscow, as they have asked to do.

And when Iran sends a nuclear missile to Tel Aviv, as they have promised to do.

Everything is in the balance. And given that France and the UK have collapsed into extreme communist hands, the battle is ready to roar.

And then you have AI interfering in elections.

Humans can do nothing about the temperature of the planet. That’s always been ridiculous. But the coming US elections could lower the temperature in many other ways.

What makes you think Jo isn’t concentrating on climate issues?

The previous eight articles were climate related. Then two about the attempted assassination. Then six about Climate. Then one on UK politics. Then at least the previous sixteen were on Climate with just two short paragraphs about Biden.

Four US articles out of the last thirty three (I didn’t look further back, it may be much more before another US piece) suggests the concentration on Climate issues is well and truly there.

If you’re getting too much US politics elsewhere then that’s not Jo’s fault.

I hope you also send messages of thanks for the ones you enjoy. Rather than just criticise the one or two you don’t enjoy.

Time to buy Jo more chocolate.

Sunday ejukayshun: The man who speaks 40 languages including Welsh

By day he’s a mild mannered carpet cleaner, by night he’s a hyperpolyglot, someone who can speak at least 11 languages fluently.

In Vaughn Smith’s case – his mastery spreads to a knowledge of 40 languages – including Cymraeg.

The 46-year-old from Gaithersburg, Maryland in the United States has a passion for languages that is quite incredible – although most people don’t know he has such a gift for words.

Studying with apps and books he picks up languages with fibre optic speed.

Although the American is hugely modest about his ability, preferring instead to major on the social benefits of learning so many languages.

Although never diagnosed both Vaughn and his mother believe he is autistic, which he believes could account for his saint skills.

    https://nation.cymru/culture/watch-the-man-who-speaks-40-languages-including-welsh/

“Transmit the message in all known languages and dialects, including Welsh”
    – Red Dwarf 😁

Such amazing hidden abilities the brain has, with so many autistic people exhibiting them.

Yes, but Spike Milligan. He wrote all the goons. Ronnie Corbett never wrote a joke. Nor Bob Hope. Sellers genius was with voices. He would often forget his own. And zany. But not raving looney like Milligan who paved the way for Monty Python for the post war generation.

Kamala is just not a smart person. Like the left, one of the people at the back who copy everyone else. She backs every leftist idea because no one dares challenge them. If you do you are immediately assaulted. Liar, bully, sexist, racist and so on. Denier.

There’s safety on the violent left, as with Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin and the Democrats with AntiFA. Same outfits though. Black is always the colour of violence. With a splash of red. Huge Boss did it well for the SS. And the little silver death’s head were cute. And the lightning bolts. That’s left. Violence and fashion.

I don’t think such an unqualified, profoundly ignorant, incoherent and unpopular person of has ever been nominated for President of the United States. Ordinary Democrats must be appalled. In no way is this the democratic choice of 14 million people who voted for Joe Biden.

      Elon Musk said it best.

      Nobody wants Kamala.

That it has come to this is the end game of a fraud perpetrated on the United States by Obama, Clinton, Pelosi and the Biden crime family. They have nowhere else to go. The only question which remains is whether Michelle Obama is prepared to sacrifice her self respect to join them.

    Jo says

But perhaps we need an AI watermark…

Other way around. We need certified chain of custody for true digital data. The hashes of original media signed by source devices or attested by authors and available to viewers by being embedded in derivative products or as separate downloadable chain of custody file for that product.

The amount of work to set up such a scheme is enormous. Rather than rewrite all video editing software to support the scheme, an intermediate step is for an author to attest which original videos and sounds were used in making a video and have that attestation available separately for inspection.

The watermark would have to contain URNs (not URLs) identifying the sources. It is unrealistic to expect all source data to be available for inspection (just think of how much gets cut out in a typical 30s news report). There is going to be difficulty in proving an original was used unaltered without having access to the original. That is where the attestations come in. The trust issue never really goes away because it is difficult for an automatic algorithm to decide how much alteration of the original can be done without changing its essential meaning. You are still trusting a person at some point in the chain of custody to have not fooled around with the data too much or in a deceptive way. The chain just identifies who you’re trusting.

Imagine in this case you can download a digital media production chain watermark file which can be used to prove that some sections of the above video contain certified original audio of Kamala Harris talking, perhaps signed by a digital microphone and a TV station. The remainder of the content that has no attestation covering it has less credibility.

Making chain of custody normalised would lead to a shift in culture in which describing any video or picture as “off-chain” is synonymous with calling it fake.

Thanks Andrew. Food for thought. But knowing the suggestibility of some humans it seems like a bad idea to have a world awash in deepfakery. In some future world children might learn from Kindy that most videos are fake, but that isn’t the case now.

      People are ripe for confusion…

Not up to scratch with the validation fields discussed, but I am wondering if AI will be the basis upon which Albanese will construct the powers of decision making for his bureaucratic censors in his misinformation/disinformation legislation. Easy to dupe people that AI is the font of all knowledge as we know it, just as the IPCC was made omnipotent to drive the global-warming-due-to-humans disaster. We have seen with technologically based argument, our population is generally easily ‘compelled’ to believe anything the government sells because most of the population has no educational defence not to believe it. Most of those with the knowledge but also with families and who are employed by businesses profiting from conforming with government, remain mute.

One can think of the medical professionals during the COVID era restrictions who remained mute despite the fact the very basis of modern medicine is full disclosure and information for all actions in dealing with patients. One could say there are many involved in the climate game now that are locked in in silence for self preservation for their futures. Governments pretend to protect whistle blowers, but in reality they hate them (unless there is political advantage to be had).

I figure as with most here, AI will be used the same way as we have experienced ‘opinion science’ being enforced on us. Unfortunately AI will be a bigger disaster because it will be used to back up so many artificially constructed narratives that are involved in human beings’ lives; so much is dependent on ‘belief’. Unfortunately the more successful AI is in running technology and providing technical solutions, the greater will be its ability to misguide people who will consider it the fount of all wisdom. People never seem to take the extra step involved in the lexicon of any decent sceptic: Who constructed the argument and who gets advantaged.
