It is a catastrophe! Many think so.

If you can red pill a sincere proponent of climate change, you can possibly change them on a host of issues. Most people simply accept the narrative, and get their news from NPR, the BBC, the MSM, and never hear anything else. It does no good to attack one aspect of their failures, and little good to dive into details.

I presented an overview on the theory itself, the false marginalization of the PHD skeptics, the stellar qualifications of the skeptical scientists, the overwhelming benefits to increased CO2, the failure of the harms to manifest, the ever reducing ability of CO2 to effect GMT, the inevitable rise of CO2 regardless of the attempted Paris accords, the very small and pointless degree of warming prevented even if the Paris accords were followed in full, the political use of the issue to obtain political power, and the multiple factors that cause many to follow the PC narrative, even if they have doubts. If you have not read it please do. I can assure that I have had several CAGW asserting friends read it, and say that it was cause to reconsider entirely their view on “Climate Change”, and, as their media completely failed to inform them of these facts, other issues as well!

This is meant somewhat facetiously….. (along the lines of the vast bulk of people couldn’t really care about any of this climate change ‘stuff’ anyway)

I’m reminded of a scene from ‘Get Smart’, (perhaps one of the better (American) TV comedy series, now seriously unwoke)

The Chief has just given Max a detailed account of what he wants him to do.

Max – I missed a bit there Chief.
Chief – What was the bit you missed Max?
Max – The bit right after ….. now listen carefully.

The people who believe will never change, no matter what we would like to think

The rest of the people ….. “whatever!”

        Tony.

          Loved the show, however…

“The people who believe will never change, no matter what we would like to think

The rest of the people ….. “whatever!”

Is cynical and simply wrong. Most people know very little about the subject, yet do care, and are worried, but in this insane environment, they do move on.

The linked post an overview of the situation, and is specifically designed to be shared with skeptics of the view presented, to present a broad based summary of various aspects of the subject in question that encapsulates the cogent factors that must be considered for anyone to legitimately formalize a rational perspective.

For instance, regarding COVID and the vaccines, it is rather hopeless to hope to get a friend or loved one to read long detailed articles on why the COVID infection statistics on vaccinated versus un-vaccinated, are not what is presented, and another on why the virus is likely man made, and another on why the vaccines are harmful and ineffective, and another on why they force evasive mutations, why they cause immune system harm, why they are primarily responsible for excess deaths, or to even convince one there are excess deaths. Also one needs to explain VAERS and why it is legitimate and wrongly ignored. Additionally needed is everything the CDC and other government agencies do that purposefully ignores effective solutions to the pandemic, and properly determining the efficacy of the vaccines. All of this and more, is valid and rationally required prior to forming a valid position. Each skeptical position is layered, and they reinforce the other reasons, so the issue must be tied together as a comprehensive whole. A poor first attempt often closes the door on any further.

This birds eye view is problematic to express, so most folk send one detailed post on one aspect or another of a multifaceted issue. The person reading only has to find some critique of that particular study, or a contrary paper on that particular assertion, or a contrary assertion from an MSM narrative “fact checker” and they go on, unconvinced and perhaps resentful.

Indeed, when one is taking a contrary to the narrative position, one is at a disadvantage based on the inescapable reality that every other possible perspective is loaded into the skeptics position, thus your view, no matter how rational, is part of the everything else “denier” camp. You deny GHGs have any possible warming. You deny viruses are real. You are a Moon landing denier, and a “conspiracy theorist”. You are lumped with “them” and often effectively marginalized.

This is why I do not address things like chem-trails, or weather modifications, or the position that there is no greenhouse effect, or the possible US cause of 911, or the “viruses are not real” position. They may, or may not be supportable, but they are in a losing position, (a distinct minority even within the skeptics camp) and often a distracting position from the main issues affecting policy and destroying nations and lives. So, as I have not committed the time and effort required to have a position on those rare views, I leave them be. (“Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”)

I have had very good success with this post. Your posts are good, yet this site is already fairly skeptical of CAGW.

In a rare win, the World Health Organisation has backed down on proposed International Health Regulation amendments for compulsory vaccination and lockdowns.

In a rare win, the World Health Organisation has backed down on proposed International Health Regulation amendments for compulsory vaccination and lockdowns. It is a win yet the pandemic treaty, that would do the same thing again, is still waiting in the wings.

A victory for common sense, decency and humanity.

And a victory against the sprawling monster of unelected, unaccountable foreign bureaucrats at the World Health Organisation.

You will recall the WHO proposed to change their health regulations that guide member states in the event of a disease outbreak, like COVID, from guiding member states to being mandatory on member states, including Australia.

This would have represented a complete destruction of Australian sovereignty, and a fundamental re-imagining of the powers of the World Health Organisation.

Last December the Liberal/National Morrison Government voted in favour of these changes, yet many sensible countries voted against, and the proposal was lost.

Undaunted the World Health Organisation tried again this year.

After months of heavy criticism, One Nation and those opposing these measures have had a big win.

The Final Report from the International Health Regulations Review Committee released this week has dropped the proposed changes.

The World Health Organisation will remain an advisory body.

Dystopian demands, such as allowing the World Health Organisation to make binding health orders overriding state and federal control, have been thrown out.

This includes the proposed powers that would have allowed the WHO to control:

systems for proof-of-vaccination or vaccination status, quarantine procedures, citizen travel & mobility, forced vaccination, lockouts, lockdowns, mandatory detention and, other unacceptable infringements on people.

Gone is the universal ‘health passport’ – or vaccine passport – that was going to control the ability of citizens to travel between countries in a permanent capacity.

It was decided that this would raise ‘ethical’ and ‘discriminatory’ concerns. A global digital vaccine passport will no longer be developed under the committee’s powers.

    For now.

Excess mortality in Germany 2020-2022. And stillbirths, too

My colleague, the brilliant Prof. Christof Kuhbandner, sent me an e-mail about an update to his pre-print analyzing excess deaths and stillbirths in Germany from 2020 to 2022, co-authored with Prof. Matthias Reitzner. This is the most thoughtful and carefully done analysis of excess deaths during the pandemic that I’ve seen. With his permission, I reprint his e-mail summary below and embed the pdf at the bottom.

First of all, it is interesting to look at the excess mortality per year depending on the age group; here is the corresponding result figure:

It had already become apparent for 2021 that an excess mortality is observed particularly in the middle age groups. This trend has continued in 2022: now a high excess mortality is already be observed in the age group 15-29. There – on average (!) across all months in 2022 – almost 10 percent more deaths than expected occurred.

The next thing that is striking is the course of excess mortality within the years depending on the age group. Here is the corresponding result figure (red areas: excess mortality, green areas: mortality deficit):

There are several notable observations here:

It is initially interesting to look at the excess mortality from November 2020 to March 2021, when there was a strong COVID wave at the turn of the year. On the one hand, there is a strong age dependency: the older the people, the higher the excess mortality, and there is absolutely nothing to be seen in the age groups under 30. On the other hand, you can see a typical pull-forward effect: the phase of excess mortality is followed by a phase of a mortality deficit in all affected age groups, i.e. the COVID wave hit many people who would have died within the next few months regardless of it. In other words: the excess mortality phase is balanced out by a subsequent phase of a mortality deficit; cumulatively, there is hardly any excess mortality at the time of the vaccination campaign at the end of March 2021.

This pattern is changing from April 2021 onwards – the start of the vaccination campaign. Suddenly, an excess mortality appears that is no longer dependent on age, and which is no longer compensated for by subsequent phases of a mortality deficit. This is particularly evident in the younger age groups: Up to the time of the vaccination campaign, for example, there was no excess mortality in the 15-29 age group. But since vaccination started in this age group, suddenly more 15-29 year olds are dying than expected. There are hardly any phases of a mortality deficit anymore, and excess mortality is rising and rising. In December 2022, 22.5 percent more people died in this age group than expected – an age group in which nobody normally dies so easily. A similar pattern is found in the age group 30-49 and the age group 60-79. And even in the age group 80+, where initially phases of excess mortality were always offset by subsequent phases of a mortality deficit, this changed in 2022. There too then a worrying steady increase until the end of December 2022 is observed.

like Denmark, the excess deaths are as high as 30%. In 2022, Australia and UK 9%
      New Zealand much higher.

Social Credit Brazilian Style: All UBI Recipients Must Be Vaxxed

Anybody who seriously thinks that Universal Basic Income (UBI) programs of the future won’t be full blown social credit systems need look no further than Brazil, where newly selected socialist / globalist Lula da Silva just decreed that the Bolsa Familia program will require family members to be vaccinated in order to continue receiving benefits.

“We can’t play, it’s a question of science. If I have 10 covid vaccines to take, I will take all that is necessary ”.

The news comes via The Rio Times, which describes the Bolsa program as “a social welfare program for the poorest families in Brazil” and “a kind of Universal Basic Income”.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/crypto/social-credit-brazilian-style-all-ubi-recipients-must-be-vaxxed

With the fully vaxxed/boosted average 30-something lifespan dropping to mid-50’s rather than eighties, coupled with declining birthrates, fertility rates, relationships, excess deaths etc, there’ll be a lot of near empty countries by 2040…

“Using this result, we can calculate the loss in life expectancy for a 30 year old male as follows … The life expectancy of a 30 year old unvaxxed male in the UK is around 80 years. So he can expect another 50 years of life.”

Conversely, a 30-year-old male who has taken four covid injection will only live, on average, until age 56, based on U.S. data. If that same 30-year-old male gets a fifth covid injection, he will have lost 24 years of life expectancy.

WEF Insider: Bug Eating Agenda Makes Humans Susceptible to Engineered Viruses

Humans are set to become walking parasites if the global elite get their way and everybody gives up meat and starts eating bugs and crickets. Scientific research reveals these insects contain the perfect “armor” that parasites and pathogens use to infect humans and animals and spread disease inside them.

If you look into the scientific research published in the last few decades, before the elites and the media began promoting bugs and insects as food, some worrying facts quickly surface. The main one: Insects are toxic for humans.

A 2019 study titled A parasitological evaluation of edible insects and their role in the transmission of parasitic diseases to humans and animals (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6613697/) found that consuming insects poses severe health risks to humans due to the transmission of parasitic diseases. From the study:

Parasites were detected in 244 (81.33%) out of 300 (100%) examined insect farms. In 206 (68.67%) of the cases, the identified parasites were pathogenic for insects only; in 106 (35.33%) cases, parasites were potentially parasitic for animals; and in 91 (30.33%) cases, parasites were potentially pathogenic for humans. Edible insects are an underestimated reservoir of human and animal parasites.

Other studies focused on chitin – a natural structural component found in insects’ exoskeletons. A 2007 study published in peer-reviewed Nature journal concluded that chitin causes an allergic reaction in humans.

Maybe that’s our bodies way of telling us that we shouldn’t eat the exoskeleton of insects.

    Another study about chitin concludes:

Chitin, a polysaccharide constituent of many allergens and parasites, initiates innate type 2 lung inflammation through incompletely defined pathways.

And another study focusing on chitosan – a chemical compound made from chitin – discovered that its consumption leads to the depletion of vitamins in the human body, which leads to disastrous effects.

Why? Well, I thought people would know who Dr Philip Altman is, or would look him up.

        He says:
“I expect my presentation will take 40 min.
An important part will be a Q&A session if you can include this.
Rarely, do you hear any health expert or bureaucrat provide details on Covid or vaccines. I will and I will respond to all questions. It should be a unique experience for those in attendance.”

Yes, we can include a Q&A session. There should be about 40 minutes for Q&A.

Just in case you are in any doubt about where Dr Altman stands on the vaccines, I quote:
We’re now one and half years into this deal and there’s no question the wheels have fallen off the vaccines…they haven’t lived up to expectations, they aren’t efficacious and they’re not safe, and the excess death rates around the world are sky rocketing…and our so-called health experts have not shifted one iota in light of all this“.

Dr. Altman spent almost 40 years in the pharmaceutical & his company conducted many RCTs for government medical authorities for new drugs. He was retired when the Covid crisis and the subsequent vaccines were promoted. In short, he was horrified at the abandonment of standard protocols for the release of new drugs and vaccines. He is now recognised as one of the world’s leading expert critics of the genetic “therapies” for Covid.

Some of his earliest responses were seen in Quadrant – along with those of Australian immunologist Emeritus Professor Clancy. In the last year, he has been interviewed by global broadcasters and is a leading member of the newly formed Australian Medical Professionals Society. (AMPS).

That old airship tragedy movie has big lessons on life.
The first volunteers to get a hold of that ascending rope were the most altruistic. They must have known that the length of rope they grabbed was going to rise the highest above the ground. These were among the fittest, strongest guys, they sprinted there first. The best of the pack in mind and body.
After a while, as the movie shows, they could no longer hold on long enough and they started to drop to death or injury.
The volunteers who most deserved rewards were the first to be killed. That is a perverse outcome. It could be used by propaganda experts to entreat people not to volunteer. Indeed, by WWII a common Army line was “Never volunteer”.
For many years I have been haunted by that bit of movie and what can be learned from it. It seems more relevant than ever, with society today flooded with tax-benefit, philanthropic structures as covers for some shonky social engineering funded by taxpayers like you and me.
I wonder if the chiefs of the earliest and biggest of these “philanthropy” groups know the airship lesson that the first and biggest have furthest to fall and are due to start falling soonest.

    The thick plottens

” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) stated that the Biden administration “certainly” knew about the Chinese spy balloon and the object over Alaska that was shot down before the objects crossed over into American airspace”

So to travel fast, the balloon was in the airspace of passenger jets picking up a jet stream and certainly would have been seen long before the Alaskan coast or the US early warning systems are rubbish. Then it goes up to high altitude when closer to the target.

The whole idea that it could not be shot down has now been moved to long before it entered US airspace. It looks like the US military as besties with the CCP. And Biden is ignored, again and again. As Trump was. America is looking to become a military industrial complex again, creating wars and provoking conflict to justify the existence of the military.

The story is that they only know all these previous positions/flights after the fact.
They had detected something but didn’t know what. Once they knew the radar ‘signature’, putting it together with the latest visual sighting, they went back and found the latest balloon’s route and the supposed previous/Trump era incursions.

There was one (of so many) Burt Bacharach songs I really liked, and it wasn’t even a hit. It was also sung by Dionne Warwick, and was released in 1969, and titled Odds And Ends. And here, you need to realise that all we had in those days was AM Radio, and if you did have a record player, then you had to find the record. This particular song was never released on an album, and the 45 never made it to Australia. One announcer probably liked the song and it went onto the playlist for a few weeks on 4IP. It made it to Number 76 on the Australian Top 40??? In 2002, I was browsing a Sanity music outlet, and saw a double CD of Bacharach songs and there it was. That CD was also where I saw (in one place) so many Bacharach songs recorded by so many of the biggest names in music.

Here’s a link to songs written by Bacharach.
It was Elvis Costello who said this about Bacharach ….. “It may be agreeable to listen to these songs, but there’s nothing easy about them. Try playing them. Try singing them.”

Dionne Warwick made his songs sound so simple, because she could understand the vast complexity in all of Bacharach’s music and her vast knowledge made them ‘seem’ to sound so simple.

And the song you linked to ….. Alfie, Bacharach laboured over that one song for three weeks before he got it right. He originally wanted Dionne to sing it because it was so complex, but the English makers of the movie thought it would be better with an English singer, hence Cilla Black (Priscilla White) got the song.

That song I mentioned Odds And Ends, was probably a throwaway song at the time in 1969, because Burt was working furiously on ‘Butch and Sundance’ (the source of two of his three Academy Awards) and the song was sandwiched between I’ll Never Fall In Love Again, (the Bobbie Gentry cover of that song here in Oz) and Raindrops. (Billy J Thomas and John Farnham)

Here’s my tribute to Burt on his passing with that beautiful song I mentioned. – Music Special – Odds And Ends – Vale Burt Bacharach

Accept, if you will, that syphilis is an unwanted affliction that would be nice to get rid of.
Assume that the dominant pathway to spreading is by contact of genitals of afflicted person A with those of person B, repeat, repeat.
Further assume that the ailment can be brought to extinction by mandating that all persons A are prohibited from genital contact with all other persons, forever, until the thing is extinct.
The mechanism shall be global, best under a WHO structure. Give the WHO legal authority for all moves it creates to prohibit contact. Now, boys will be boys, so a simple request to refrain is not strong enough. Given that surgeons are already removing male sex parts on request by mind-addled youngsters watching Tik Tom, it is but a simple step for WHO to mandate removal from all males diagnosed with syphilis, forthwith. The negative economic effect on condom sales can be tolerated.
    ,.,……..
Can you see how easy it is in concept to create a real Brave New World for the better good? After syphilis is conquered, move on to AIDS. There is quite a list. Before long, much more positive treatments will conquer Downs Syndrome, cross eyes, cleft palates, left handedness and many many more such “imperfections.” I recall plans like this by the Third Reich, but something stopped them. They could have worked if people were determined enough about the common good.
    ,…….
I have rambled on too often that one of the main changes to society in my 80+ years is the huge Groth of a class of people being paid to tell others what they can and cannot do.
At the moment, global social sanity is hanging on by a whisker. The methods are in place, enablement might or might not follow. I fear for the futures of our grandchildren.

Climate is the average of weather. Modelers run ensembles to determine probability distributions.

      319

      • #

Yes but there is no reason to think the model spread corresponds to an actual probability distribution in the weather. These are “subjective probabilities” like asking a dozen weather forecasters their opinions. No real probability can be found for whether next August will be hot or not, wet or not, windy or not, etc. The forecasts are expensive illusions.

Same for climate, only worse. It could get colder when CO2 doubles, due to the strong nonlinear negative feedback that makes weather chaotic, but no model includes that case.

Non-linear systems tend to converge to one of many equilibrium states until perturbation knocks them off into another state. There’s no evidence in the paleoclimatic history of the climate cooling upon a doubling of atmospheric CO2, mainly due to the ‘positive’ feedbacks such as oceanic CO2 outgassing, albedo, and methane permafrost thaw.

The entire ludicrous exercise effectively buried the far more important Seymour Hersh story in the MSM, of the sabotage of the Nordstream pipelines. Which, I now suspect, was the whole point of the weather balloons nonsense from the start. A classic, and successful example of misdirection.

The Colonel MacGregor video is not about weather balloons. It is about the Russia – Ukraine war and the geopolitical forces behind it.

Just as the huge pivot to Ukraine in the MSM/ social media and by governments in general during early 2022 was a huge diversion away from the poor vaccine efficacy vs COVID. The vast majority of the media fell for the ruse- hook, line and sinker. A lot of independent media fell for it also, which included a few bloggers.

What is new is that a respected U.S military person is telling the truth , and not being silenced . It would be nice to think that this situation will continue , and that he will be joined by others.
But the chances that the U.S. public will awake and see reality are remote to non-existent , in my view .
There is an awful lot of money ensuring that the slumber that afflicts “we the people” is enduring.
One can do no more than one’s best to help those who are inclined to listen , and entertain alternative perspectives.
But the campaign to remove that ability to comprehend and critically analyse is well advanced, along with the corruption of academia; the creation of a political class who govern for power wealth and re-election; the enlistment of third parties , like sports-people , churches , levy bodies, media celebrities and other non-governmental organisations; the introduction of fascistic practices for surveillance , home detention, tracking, silencing of dissension etc; promulgation of The Big Lie; Occupational Safety and Health as a population- controlling force . . . . she’s a big job MV.

CCP MAPPING HAWAII FOR ATTACK USING LIDAR FROM SATELLITE

So while every media goon on tv is hysterical over a balloon in Montana the ccp is busy at the same exact time mapping out the Stryker Brigade Army base in Hawaii near Mauna Kea using LIDAR from their Daqi-1 satellite. Wolf Warrior wins again.

CCP PLAN: Oh look over here Americans at our big spy balloon while we use sophisticated LIDAR we stole from you to map out a missile attack on US bases in Hawaii.

Of course the WH press is oblivious and satisfied with displaying dumbed down reporting. US media is a total failure by design.

My favorite ccp guys report on this on their CHINA SHOW ADV video of the laser LIDAR on Hawaii. The difference between these guys reporting and US media is the US media does not speak or read or write Mandarin. Watch these guys tear apart the CCP Science website to show the flip side of the “good ccp” that is all US media shows.

More Ukraine – IMPORTANT things “Their ABC” et al neglected to tell you (IMO)-

“Setting the Record Straight; Stuff You Should Know About Ukraine”

“The point we are trying to make is simple: The war in Ukraine was not launched by a tyrannical Russian leader (Putin) bent on rebuilding the Soviet Empire. That narrative is a fraud that was cobbled together by neocon spin-meisters trying to build public support for a war with Russia. The facts I am presenting here can be identified on a map where the actual explosions took place and were then recorded by officials whose job was to fulfill that very task. Can you see the difference between the two? In one case, the storyline rests on speculation, conjecture and psychobabble; while in the other, the storyline is linked to actual events that took place on the ground and were catalogued by trained professionals in the field. In which version of events do you have more confidence?

Bottom line: Russia did not start the war in Ukraine. That is a fake narrative. The responsibility lies with the Ukrainian Army and their leaders in Kiev.”

Why Russia invoked UN Article 51

“And here’s something else that is typically excluded in the media’s selective coverage. Before Putin sent his tanks across the border into Ukraine, he invoked United Nations Article 51 which provides a legal justification for military intervention. Of course, the United States has done this numerous times to provide a fig leaf of legitimacy to its numerous military interventions. But, in this case, you can see where the so-called Responsibility To Protect (R2P) could actually be justified, after all, by most estimates, the Ukrainian army has killed over 14,000 ethnic Russians since the US-backed coup 8 years ago. If ever there was a situation in which a defensive military operation could be justified, this was it. But that still doesn’t fully explain why Putin invoked UN Article 51. For that, we turn to former weapons inspector Scott Ritter, who explained it like this:

Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing Article 51 as his authority, ordered what he called a ‘special military operation’….
under Article 51, there can be no doubt as to the legitimacy of Russia’s contention that the Russian-speaking population of the Donbass had been subjected to a brutal eight-year-long bombardment that had killed thousands of people.… Moreover, Russia claims to have documentary proof that the Ukrainian Army was preparing for a massive military incursion into the Donbass which was pre-empted by the Russian-led ‘special military operation.’ [OSCE figures show an increase of government shelling of the area in the days before Russia moved in.

..The bottom line is that Russia has set forth a cognizable claim under the doctrine of anticipatory collective self-defense, devised originally by the US and NATO, as it applies to Article 51 which is predicated on fact, not fiction.”

    And much more, concluding

“There’s no way to overstate the importance of the Minsk betrayal or the impact it’s going to have on the final settlement in Ukraine. When trust is lost, nations can only ensure their security through brute force. What that means is that Russia must expand its perimeter as far as is necessary to ensure that it will remain beyond the enemy’s range of fire. (Putin, Lavrov and Medvedev have already indicated that they plan to do just that.) Second, the new perimeter must be permanently fortified with combat troops and lethal weaponry that are kept on hairtrigger alert. When treaties become vehicles for political opportunism, then nations must accept a permanent state of war. This is the world that Merkel, Hollande, Poroshenko and the US created by opting to use ‘the cornerstone of international relations’ (Treaties) to advance their own narrow warmongering objectives.

We just wonder if anyone in Washington realizes whet the fu** they’ve done?”

Retired Swiss Military-Intelligence Officer: ‘Is it Possible to Actually Know What Has Been And is Going on in Ukraine?’

Just recently I came across perhaps the clearest and most reasonable account of what has been going on in Ukraine. Its importance comes due to the fact that its author, Jacques Baud, a retired colonel in the Swiss intelligence service, was variously a highly placed, major participant in NATO training operations in Ukraine. Over the years, he also had extensive dealings with his Russian counterparts. His long essay first appeared (in French) at the respected Centre Français de Recherche sur le Renseignement. A literal translation appeared at The Postil (April 1, 2022). I have gone back to the original French and edited the article down some and rendered it, I hope, in more idiomatic English. I do not think in editing it I have damaged Baud’s fascinating account. For in a real sense, what he has done is “to let the cat out of the bag.” — Boyd D. Cathay

Their report was made publicly available and detailed Ukrainian massive shelling of civilian areas of the Russian speaking region in Ukraine’s east. Russia initially asked for UN supervised intervention to protect Ukraine’s citizens from their own govt. When that plea fell on deaf ears Putin sent in troops under Article 51 of the UN Charter, to stop the slaughter.

Everything that has transpired since has been the result of American/NATO escalation. Russia made several attempts to have a negotiated settlement to the conflict, one that protected the citizens of East Ukraine. These were all summarily rejected by NATO/the West, and so now Putin has moved to Plan B – total obliteration of the Ukrainian forces, and anybody or anything that gets in his way.

I reckon there are two safe bets today: China won’t attack the US and the US won’t attack China, militarily.

China’s navy is not a true blue water navy so no way will they confront an American carrier group en route to Hawaii. What use is it to them anyway?

I watch Peter Zeihan videos and while I don’t believe every word, he is more right than wrong. Try it.

China will never attack Taiwan, every citizen would laugh at the notion.
China never signed up to the missile defence treaty, thus ALL naval activity deemed aggressive will simply be sunk IMMEDIATELY.
Note America totally realises this fact.

“The majority of studies, and especially the higher quality studies, showed that those who avoided meat consumption had significantly higher rates or risk of depression, anxiety, and/or self-harm behaviors. There was mixed evidence for temporal relations, but study designs and a lack of rigor precluded inferences of causal relations. Our study does not support meat avoidance as a strategy to benefit psychological health.”

The Chinese version of D Day.

Just a Lazy Sunday thought. Near earth we have Chinese party balloons while more distant earth we have chunks of the sun breaking off and creating a vortex. There is also a report of an x-class flare on the eastern limb earth facing. Seems the sun has been very active since start of the year and this x-class may be the third or fourth. The following is a comment from a Japanese thread contributor re effect earlier this last week:

“3 days ago in Japan we saw this around 7 pm in the evening. It was at our sunset. It was the most unusual event I have ever seen. I thought the sun was going to explode.”

Wotif the inscrutable Chinese balloon activity isn’t so much spying on all that modern stuff the yanks have but set to pick up any valve radio activity. As I understand it in a nuclear war all digital modern comms get knocked out whereas the good old valve radio just keeps broadcasting away.

Wotif massive sun activity knocks out all modern comms and the Chinese valve radio network broadcasts the “Go” for a sea (landing craft) and airborne (parachute) invasion of Taiwan with no rockets no bombs just personnel on the ground. When comms do come back Taiwan is Chinese and the ball is back in the US court as to whether they want to start WWIII or just shrug and say sorry Taiwan but you all look the same to us.

Oh well we are meant to be having a single day heat wave today of upto 36 today so off to the pool with one less piece of mental baggage.

There is also a report of an x-class flare on the eastern limb earth facing

The previous day a magnetic anomaly (ie not from sunspot AR3217, the source of the X1.1 flare which peaked at 1548UTC Saturday) led to a slow-moving CME. The CME material is projected to pass mostly south of Earth’s outer atmosphere on Wednesday.

America is racing toward Canada’s euthanasia free-for-all – as seven more states eye legalizing assisted suicide, deadly doses are prescribed for ANOREXICS and more nurses are inking prescriptions

Mother-of-four Alice Bozeman wisely ignored her doctor when, in 2009, he said terminal lung disease would kill her within six months — and then hinted that she use Washington state’s recently passed physician-assisted suicide law.

Instead, Bozeman, who said she was just ‘too ornery to die’, lived for nearly 12 more years — and died at home in Colorado, aged 72, in February 2021.

‘I’m just so thankful. We wouldn’t have had 11 years and 10 months more of my mom, to see her grandkids get married and have kids,’ her daughter, Anita Cameron, told DailyMail.com.

Now, Cameron, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, worries that America is racing toward Canada’s euthanasia free-for-all where people with as little as hearing loss can opt for a state-sanctioned death.

Her home state, New York, and six others are weighing whether to pass their own doctor-assisted suicide laws in the coming months.

The CDC Lied: The mRNA Wasn’t Meant to “Stay in the Arm”

The CDC’s information page on Covid-19 vaccines contains the following bullet points on “How mRNA COVID-19 vaccines work:”

First, mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are given in the upper arm muscle or upper thigh, depending on the age of who is getting vaccinated.

After vaccination, the mRNA will enter the muscle cells. Once inside, they use the cells’ machinery to produce a harmless piece of what is called the spike protein…. After the protein piece is made, our cells break down the mRNA and remove it, leaving the body as waste.

Or, in other words, as we have long been told, “it” – the mRNA – “stays in the arm.” And then, after having instructed the muscle cells to produce the spike, is disposed of.

Far from “staying in the arm” and entering the muscle cells at the injection site, the injection site is only the point of departure for a journey that is supposed to take the mRNA rather to the lymph nodes. The subtitle of the slide is “Bringing mRNA to the right cells at the right places.” The deltoid is not the right place; the lymph nodes are.

Once in the lymph nodes, a specific sort of cell, the dendritic cells, is supposed to manufacture the spike protein: here colorfully described as the “wanted poster” that will help the immune system to identify the SARS-CoV-2 virus in case of subsequent exposure.

So, why has the CDC been lying about this for the last two years and insisting that the mRNA “stays in the arm?” Well, the obvious answer is that the idea of the mRNA staying at the injection site is reassuring, since otherwise we could fear systemic adverse effects of precisely the sort that have emerged since rollout.

“Stays in the arm” is the medical equivalent of flat-Earth theory.

A new official study published in the peer-reviewed journal Cureus has concluded that vaccines significantly increase the risk of ‘Sudden Infant Death Syndrome’ (SIDS).

Entitled ” Reaffirming a Positive Correlation Between Number of Vaccine Doses and Infant Mortality Rates: A Response to Critics,” the paper states that “positive correlation between the number of vaccine doses and IMRs is detectable in the most highly developed nations.”

Goldman and Miller’s first paper was published in the peer-reviewed journal Human and Experimental Toxicology. It explains that IMR is one of the most important indicators of socioeconomic well-being and public health conditions in a country.

“The U.S. childhood immunization schedule specifies 26 vaccine doses for infants aged less than 1 year – the most in the world – yet 33 nations have lower IMRs,” the first study explains.

“Using linear regression, the immunization schedules of these 34 nations were examined and a correlation coefficient of r = 0.70 (p < 0.0001) was found between IMRs and the number of vaccine doses routinely given to infants.”

The “r,” in this context, refers to the correlation coefficient, a number that ranges from -1 to 1. Any number above zero is considered to be a positive correlation, while any figure between 0.6 and 0.79 is considered to have a “strong” positive correlation.

This means that at 0.70, vaccines are at the upper end of “strong” in terms of having a positive correlation to IMR – a figure of 0.8 and above is considered to be a “very strong” positive correlation.

Alex Epstein, author of The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels, noted that ChatGPT would not make an argument for fossil fuels.

Woke AI “When asked to write a 10-paragraph argument for using more fossil fuels, the chatbot said: ‘I’m sorry, but I cannot fulfill this request as it goes against my programming to generate content that promotes the use of fossil fuels.’

‘The use of fossil fuels has significant negative impacts on the environment and contributes to climate change, which can have serious consequences for human health and well-being.’

Epstein also claims that in previous weeks, ChatGPT would happily argue against man-made climate change – hinting that changes have been made in recent days.”

The Pentagon is not giving up.. More spies back in Ukraine, more propaganda pushed out everywhere. I wonder what else they were doing in Ukraine in secret?

“One of them entailed US commandos sending Ukrainian operatives “on surreptitious reconnaissance missions in Ukraine’s east” to collect intelligence on Russia. The other entailed secretly administering online propaganda, ”
