In August 2021, as the masses were being coerced and cajoled into vaccinations, the government announced a gigantic long term study with 10,000 Australians that would run for five years. They promised they would include the vaccinated and unvaccinated, and generate 100,000 samples, and 11 million datapoints. No stone would be left unturned to make sure the vaccines were safe and effective. “The Science” was being used to reassure the people.
Less than two years later the data must have looked terrible, because they suddenly stopped the study. They muttered something about archiving the data until more funding was available. (Sure, sure). Now, they want to quietly destroy the data and make sure no one can ever use it, or find out the secrets it hides with an FOI application. The cost of the entire project was $20 million, a pitifully small fraction of the $18 billion we spent on Australia’s Covid 19 treatment experiments, and it’s nothing compared to the human cost of suffering involved. Now, we’re trying to save a few dollars because the National Archives can’t afford to buy another 8 Tb hard drive from Officeworks or spend 0.1% of the Covid budget renting a cool room in a warehouse. Does anyone believe these excuses any more?
Tell the children, “Government ScienceTM” is nothing more than a tool of persuasion and marketing. It’s just a brand-name abused for profit and power.
A cynic might say those who set this study up did it purely for the purpose of “radiating confidence” in vaccines, and they never intended to finish it. But we know that if a miracle happened and the results had turned out well, they’d be running adverts, going on talkshows and sending a star recruit with a QoVax badge on a spaceflight with Katy Perry.

Queensland Government to destroy ‘globally significant’ Covid vaccine study biobank

Experts and participants have since been calling for the resurrection of the QoVAX project, but in a letter to study participants last month, Metro North Health confirmed that the study will be permanently shuttered, with all samples and data to be destroyed.
“Metro North Health has determined that, for a range of reasons including the many mutations of the COVID-19 virus and similar studies from Australia and worldwide, there is no longer a scientific and public health need to retain these biological samples for future study,” said the letter, sent 19 March 2025.
“Therefore, these samples will be appropriately sterilised and disposed of. All study data collected as part of the QoVAX-SET study will be archived for the specified time-period as required by law however, it will not be accessed or used for any future purpose.”
The excuse that the virus has mutated now and that there are “similar studies” elsewhere doesn’t wash. There is probably no other dataset like this one in the world, because for the first four or five months there was almost no Covid transmission in Queensland to complicate the analysis. If people got “long covid-like symptoms” we’d know it wasn’t from Covid. Elsewhere Pfizer and others “unblinded” the tests, making sure the unvaccinated got vaccinated, so there were no ethical concerns about them missing out. But that didn’t need to happen in Queensland.
Professor Davies called the decision, on which she was not consulted, “incredibly disappointing.”
“It’s a terrible example of research wastage and loss of a globally significant opportunity to realise benefits and generate knowledge through research based on the unique samples provided by the 10,000 Queenslanders who gave consent and participated,” Professor Davies, who heads up the Allergy Research Group at QUT, told Canberra Daily.
Indeed, QoVAX was unique in that it was one of the only real-world studies to have access to a ‘comparison set’ of participants who had been vaccinated, but had not been infected with the Covid virus, which only took off in Queensland after the state borders opened in December 2021.
Who knows what new assays or techniques we might come up with in the next ten years to reanalyze those samples (if they were not destroyed). The answers to questions like: “Who will benefit the most” from vaccines and who is at the greatest risk of side effects are probably hidden in that data. We might realize a certain gene puts some people at more risk of neuropathy, or clots, or allergic reaction after vaccination, but we won’t be able to confirm that if the data is incinerated.
As Rebecca Weiser explained two years ago, this data collection is extraordinary:
The QoVax team didn’t just collect the standard data. Participants provided information on environmental and social determinants of health and biospecimens of blood and saliva that have been used to derive genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic datasets that will shed light on how the novel vaccines impact the immune system.
The secure digitally integrated biobank has 120,000 biospecimens: serum, saliva and peripheral blood mononuclear cells, in three -80 degrees Celsius freezers and three liquid nitrogen dewars. The linked data repository has four million linked data points and more than 500 whole genomes.
In addition, the biobank has access to real-time electronic medical records. With 70 per cent of hospitals in Queensland storing medical records electronically, the study was intended to allow long-term digital surveillance of health outcomes related to Covid-19 vaccinations, and intersections between vaccine responses and Sars-CoV-2 infection.
14,000 Australians died of some mystery we can’t explain in 2022, and the side effects and deaths continue to this day. Likewise, all over the world.
The people who want the data destroyed are always the ones covering something up.

For a while I thought the depth of my dismay was peculiar to me and others of anti mRNA vaccine beliefs. But the evidence for a massive loss of community confidence not only in politicians, but specifically the medical profession is spectacular in a nation that once viewed doctors as “gods”.

What are they covering up?
There is common knowledge of side effects experienced by recipients of these vaccines. So many people were driven to having these clot shots so they could visit hospitals and nursing homes to support sick or dying relatives. It was like a trap that kept resetting itself. ‘Next Please’! We to this day are still running into the coal mine to save those trapped inside. We are being told to ignore the dead canary, the mine atmosphere has a safe effective protection system.
This study could be like the canary in the coal mine. A dire warning that this mechanism of genetic modification should cease or when the results of the study analysed to see if as it as it appears the dire side affects were limited to certain batches. Doses that may have simply suffered from contamination during production. Maybe this study will prove the gene therapy works brilliantly for those genetically disposed to this form of long term protection from pathogens.

These actions and inactions are all being done very quietly or buried. We had the Bureau of Stats whitewash the excess mortality data. Recently, the Human Rights Commission did a review of the anti COVID government measures and found them mostly harmful and abusive. But was there any major outcry or further actions- nope. We’ve still not had a major COVID-19 Royal Commission. At least to find out why previously instituted pandemic plans were ignored. There’s a lot of noise about covid from people who are ignorant of the medical side so let me set the record straight
1 – covid vaccines had “emergency approval”
At the time no-one knew what would happen if there was no medical defence (i.e. vaccine) against covid and governments were not prepared to take a risk with public health. Note that the UK vaccine was withdrawn as soon as the possible side-effects became apparent.
2 – the scale of the vaccination caused more adverse reactions
With all vaccines a small percentage of people have adverse reactions, probably no higher than 1 in 100,000. The public doesn’t notice this because of the relatively small portion of the population being vaccinated often just one. Covid vaccines had a higher adverse reaction rate but the big issue was that the number of people being vaccinated, most multiple times, meant higher absolute numbers of adverse reactions.
3 – the virus mutated
the vaccine initially targeted 4 of the 26 different protein chains in the spike of the virus. By this I mean they aimed at having your body quickly recognise those 4 and take defensive action with antibodies. The problem was that the virus mutated, changing some of the 4 key proteins, which meant the vaccine became less and less effective. (There’s nothing new about this. The flu virus changes multiple times every year and the flu vaccine often has multiple parts that target different parts of at least three vaccines. Just occasionally you get new widespread mutations after the vaccine is developed and the vaccine’s effective is reduced even to the point of being useless.)
4 – vaccines for new strains weren’t created fast enough
We were told that mRNA vaccines would be easy to tweak. That didn’t happen and the new vaccines didn’t appear until about 2023 (late in the year IIRC). I haven’t heard if these vaccines underwent proper testing or not, but I suspect they did because the knowledge about covid improved over time and threat level became better understood.
When you take all these into account the handling of covid vaccinations was decent overall given the circumstances.

Your 1: vaccines are not a defence. The immune system is the defence and vaccines are meant to “train” it. Odd though, that official advice to immunocompromised people is to dose-up on COVID vaccines. It’s almost like governments *want* to put them at extra risk.
Your 3: yes the virus mutated. Coronaviruses are notorious for mutating (weird that the name has stayed “Omicron” for so long, has it really stopped changing?). This is just one reason that vaccination was a *DAFT* approach to handling the epidemic.
What made sense in the beginning still makes sense now:

(3) Let the well get on with their lives.

a, Your body produced IGG4 anti bodies instead of IGG3, IGG4 is used to reduce inflammation and is not used to fight infections (think bee keepers getting stung all the time)
b, Due to the manufacturers changing the amount of proteins from one instruction your ribosomes experiences something called frame shifting this means the ribosomes will randomly skip an amino acid and produce junk proteins, these proteins could target your natural cells causing massive anti inflammatory symptoms or it could cause dementia type symptoms
c, The vaccine does not produce any long term protection, none, nothing, nada, zip. In short the vaccines was a piece of junk.
4 – vaccines for new strains weren’t created fast enough
The MRNA experiment was a failure, no matter how fast you make the next batch of your junk injections they still wont work, 97% of Australians had 2 or 3 shots before their natural infection, for most of them their immune systems are now compromised, some severely and you think all they need is to “get up to date”.

If a mistake in procedure or anything else was made and you wanted to start over, you did not rip those pages out. Mistakes were/are allowed in science – covering them up is not.

I wonder if that’s also inflated as an excuse not to archive the data?
Not that it’s very big in terms of storage capacity or costly by today’s standards anyway.

Was just at Officeworks, picking up stuff for work. A 2TB external storage disk was about $120. So you could store all this data for $500 + costs/year. What a crock. Best hope is that someone within Qld Health leaks the data. Wikileaks anyone ?

I was out in the car and heard a discussion on their ABC Radio national about the law pertaining to ‘No body, no parole’, some female perfesser with a speech impediment was moaning about how the no body rule is unfair, making sentences so much longer, something about a discount if you have disposed of the body in such a way that it can never be recovered, like putting it in a wheelie bin and it gets buried with half a cubic kilometer of other stuff, or dumping the body in a croc infested river.
I was flabbergasted, might try to look it up on a podcast and have a better listen, it was on after lunch today 16/4/25.

If nobody in Australia will save the data how about asking Robert Kennedy? Is there any prominent official in the world with such a concern for vaccine safety? Given that the data is, at least potentially, of world wide significance, Kennedy’s department would surely be interested in ensuring that the data was preserved and analysed thoroughly.
