Here’s one for the audience 😂😂😂

    KITTENS

A pretty little girl named Suzy was standing on the footpath in front of her home.
Next to her was a basket containing a number of tiny creatures; in her hand was a sign announcing FREE KITTENS .

Suddenly a line of big white cars pulled up beside her.
Out of the lead car stepped Anthony Albanese .

“Hi there little girl, I’m Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
What do you have in the basket?” he asked.

    “Kittens,” little Suzy said.

“How old are they?” asked Albanese.

Suzy replied, “They’re so young, their eyes aren’t even open yet.”

“And what kind of kittens are they?”

“Labor supporters,” answered Suzy with a smile.

Albanese was delighted. As soon as he returned to his car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl and the kittens.

    Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two of them agreed that the Prime Minister should return the next day;
And in front of the assembled media, have the girl talk about her discerning kittens.

So the next day, Suzy was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of “FREE KITTENS,” when another motorcade pulled up,
This time followed by vans from ABC, SBS, Sky News, Channel 7, Channel 9 and Channel 10.

Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then Albanese got out of his limo and walked over to little Suzy.

“Hello, again,” he said, “I’d love it if you would tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens you’re giving away.”

“Yes sir,” Suzy said. “They’re Liberal/National supporters.”

Taken by surprise, the Prime Minister stammered, “But…but…yesterday, you told me they were LABOR SUPPORTERS.”

Little Suzy smiled and said, “I know.

But today, they have their eyes open.”

      It is a charming story.
The kittens may have their eyes open now but they are not yet fully awake.
When they wake up they will realise that the LNP parliamentary party has betrayed its roots and its/their principles..
Then they will become LibDem, PHON or UAP supporters.

Apologies to Graham Richards and noting Paul C’s apt reply to it, an improvement might be:

Peter Dutton who was not present before felt it his duty to show his appreciation and rolled up to talk with Suzy the next day.
Suzy was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of “FREE KITTENS,” when the motorcade pulled up,
This time again, preceded by vans from ABC, SBS, Sky News, Channel 7, Channel 9 and Channel 10 with equipment already in place.

Peter Dutton steps out of his limousine and introduces himself to Suzy as the leader of the LNP then asks Suzy to tell them all what kind of kittens that she had there.

“Yes sir,” Suzy said. “They’re all Pauline Hanson One nation Party supporters.”

Also taken by surprise, the Dutton stammered, “But…but…yesterday, you told us all they were LNP SUPPORTERS.”

Little Suzy smiled and said, “I know.

But today, they all have both eyes open.”

    Hi Jo,
Sorry i missed this event you had. Regarding vandals in the Energy sector, did you know there are state branches for the Smart Energy Council (Independent Body for the Australian Smart Energy Industry, Non profit Organisation), on LinkedIn, the WA branch is headed by a mysterious Wilf.J , GM, with no profile pic.
There is also the Net Zero Network, also with state branches, also NPO, founder Max van Someren.
There appears to be more and more of these NGO groups advocating for the crazy Net Zero policies.

Net Zero Network WA is holding an event this Thursday 25th July in Freemantle. I can’t make it to this event either due to work but it may be worth attending to hear what lunatic ideas they have next.
    The line up includes:

    Michael Masterman – Element Zero
Michael is the CEO and Founder of Element Zero, a Green Metal Company who have the pioneering technology to convert metal ores to metal using renewable electricity at scale.

    Mike Nolan – GHD
Mike is the Executive Leader in Energy & Resources at GHD, with a specific focus on growth in critical minerals, green steel making and client management (KAM).

    Nicole Wyche – WWF Australia
Nicole is the Industry Decarbonisation Manager (Steel) at WWF Australia.

Raj Aggarwal – Green Steel of WA
Raj is a Non-executive Director at Green Steel of WA, a WA-based green steel project developer.

Max van Someren – SuperchargeWA (and Founder of the NZN)
Recently led the delivery of the SuperchargeWA project to build a compelling future vision for renewable energy industrial precincts in WA, including green iron. Link for tickets below:
