Lots of fear porn on “reductions” in antarctic sea ice this week to counter the very cold front barrelling towards southern Australia

and the historical records for Antarctic sea ice, re satellite data, starts in the year 1979.

That is just 44 years of data.

Today the scientists, and media releases scream “record low sea ice level”.. and…”10% reduction since 2014″
They justify that by comparing sea ice coverage from 8 years before, when there was an all time “record high Antarctic sea ice level” in 2014.

The scientists will claim that there is catastrophic sea ice loss due to climate change/CO2.
Yet they won’t explain why at the start of the historical record in 1979,
The sea ice coverage was at 18.2 millon sq Km, dropped to 17.6 million sq km in 1986, then peaked at 19.8 million sq Km in 2014.

Look at the historical graph in the link below. Anyone can see that they cherry pick to suit their narrative.

The point of worrying about sea ice is that people think it means flooding.

Except as a rough indicator of average temperature, sea ice is meaningless. It could all melt, world wide and the sea would not rise 1mm. All the deep snow and ice across most of the Northern Hemisphere from Siberia to Canada melts every year and has no effect. It’s also question of volume.

The mainland of Antarctica is -50C in winter and -25C in summer and most of it is over 10,000 feet or 3.4km for an area twice the size of Australia. It’s not going anywhere soon. No one and no wildlife lives in Antarctica. It’s too cold and the world’s biggest desert by far, two miles of solid ice. Melting? No.

And as what falls on the top at very high altitude stays there. So Antarctica is actually growing in size and thus captured water. NASA has concluded it is more than enough to counter losses at the edges.

But in case researches lose their bread and butter scare there is a ray of hope,
“But it might only take a few decades for Antarctica’s growth to reverse”.

And it’s a big problem for NASA, that what they see contradicts the entire global Warming, ice melting, seas rising story.

But the biggest one which no one seems to understand in the current context of Nett Zero is the greening of the planet. Since 1988 the planet has greened about 14%, the size of the Brazilian Rainforest. And I checked that CO2 has gone up 14%.

This is an absolute disaster. It utterly contradicts Nett zero on a global scale. Carbon farming is booming around the world. Of course we cannot halve farm CO2 (as is going to be legislated in Australia by Albanese, today’s Australian) without producing half as much food. We cannot halve steel output, or aluminum or lead or coal or iron ore. So we are forced to buy UN Carbon Credits, mainly from carbon farmers. That’s the whole idea! The UN will get its own income from creating the IPCC, in the billions. And they don’t need to be nice to the Americans.

Except the world has grown a forest the size of the Amazon and it has not affected CO2 even the slightest. So growing trees doesn’t work! And Carbon Credits are a lie. Don’t tell the UN, they don’t want to know.

There are hundreds of tree farm investment projects in the UK alone.

              TdeF

And you should be asking how can billions of trees NOT reduce CO2?

The answer is that the CO2 they sequester is replaced from the ocean in rapid CO2 equilibrium. So sequestration is a waste of time and money.

The tiny amount we humans output is of no consequence in this massive exchange and 98% of it quickly ends up in the ocean. All this talk of sequestering CO2 is clearly nonsense, like Twiggy Forrest’s hydrogen scheme.
The planet would like to disagree. And NASA knows it. The evidence is clear. More CO2 means more trees, so trees do not reduce CO2. Nor do we increase it.

Good luck with those thousands of Carbon Farmers. There is no scientific basis for it at all.

    No surprise here…

Remember, the Left are terrified of alternative opinions and need to censor everything that doesn’t follow the Official Narrative.

They do not support a plurality of opinions we should be allowed to have in a supposedly free society.

BREAKING: The Australian Government colluded with big tech to suppress speech on Covid

The Censorship Industrial Complex Down Under

    REBEKAH BARNETT

    22 MAY 2023

A Freedom of Information request by Senator Alex Antic has revealed that the Australian Department of Home Affairs made over 4,000 requests to digital platforms to take down content related to Covid.

The FOI documents1 show that from the start of the pandemic up to 15 Dec 2022, the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) referred 4,213 social media posts that they believed to be in breach of big tech platforms’ community guidelines. This comes as a surprise, given that the Department’s purview includes border security, counter-terrorism and immigration, but not public health.

Covid social media posts were reported to platforms under the Online Content Incident Arrangement (OCIA). A copy of the OCIA was provided in the FOI response, however every page but the cover was redacted.

In Senate Hearings today, 22 May 2023, DOHA representatives told Senator Antic that the OCIA was initially set up in the wake of the 2019 Christchurch shootings as a counter-terrorism effort to monitor and report Terrorism & Violent Extremist Content (TVEC). However, under the Scott Morrison Government, the Department was given the directive to, “lean in on Covid dis- and misinformation.”

    Senator Antic responded,

“What you’re describing, effectively there is a censorship industrial complex that arises out of the Department of Health, presumably ATAGI and the Therapeutic Goods Association (sic) directing traffic through the Department of Home Affairs to enforce that?”2

How many people died or were harmed due to government disinformation claiming the covid “vaccines” were safe and suppressing information about safe, effective treatments?

And why did the Australian Senate vote against an enquiry into excess deaths? Why would this not be a topic of a legitimate enquiry? Excess deaths are show in official government statistics. It’s not as of they were made up by free thinking conservatives and fellow rational thinkers.

Sorry David, I will file that under ‘So What’?

We already have a mountain of evidence pointing to extreme overreach, unlawful activity and outright evil committed by government, health, pharma and media leaders and frankly, I’m losing interest because absolutely nothing will be done about it.

I have said before that pretty much every day reveals a new ‘scandal’ involving Biden or some other establishment figure, often accompanied with hard evidence, in some cases even video, yet there are never any tangible consequences when the guilty party belongs on the left side of politics.

Yet meanwhile the merest whiff of dodgy, real or made up, by an enemy of the Left is immediately pursued and prosecuted, e.g. Trump, Boris Johnson, Tony Abbott, Tucker Carlson, et al.

Certain printers such as some, if not all, Epson and Canon printers have an “end of life” “feature” which after they have printed a certain number of pages, they deactivate themselves.

It can be related to the waste ink pad but in many cases these are difficult or impossible to replace or spare pads are not available.

You need to watch the old doco “Light Bulb Conspiracy” about planned obsolescence and fixing the firmware that junks your products…

Major lightbulb manufacturers met in Switzerland, including OSRAM, Philips, Compagnie des Lampes, and the General Electric. This body of bulb manufacturing companies was named as “Phoebus SA Industrial Company for the Development of Lighting”. Eventually this took form of a planned obsolescence by deciding to devalue the design of the light bulbs and limit them to 1000 operational hours. All light bulb manufacturers were obliged to send samples to the test facility at Switzerland. A deviation from the decided limit of 1000 hours resulted in heavy fees.

NSW region electricity prices spiking to $13,000/MWh since 1730 today. The notice indicates it is financial residues between Victoria and NSW rather than a generating issue

Standard retail price offer set to rise 17% following the Victorian budget. Tassie Premier offering incentives for any business wanting to get out of Victoria and move to Tassie.

The good news for Victoria is that roads could be a little less congested in a few months as the job losses and State escapees move elsewhere.

Victoria has turned the corner from woke – now firmly broke.

Melbourne family catches Covid-19 14 times

A Melbourne family has shared that they have caught Covid-19 14 times between them despite being vaccinated.

Dr Anne Fletcher, an immunologist at Monash University in Melbourne, told SBS that the family fell like “dominoes” when they first caught Covid during the first week of the school term in 2022.

Dr Fletcher’s husband works as a police officer and she has three children aged nine, seven and one.

But the first infection was just the start for the family.

Irish Government Orders Citizens To ‘Stop Drinking Alcohol’

The Irish government has begun urging millions of citizens to stop drinking alcohol due to the fact that alcohol consumption can cause cancer and liver disease.

On Monday, the Irish government signed into law a draconian new requirement for drinks manufacturers to put a stark health warning on every single drink sold in Ireland.

“I welcome that we are the first country in the world to take this step and introduce comprehensive health labeling of alcohol products,” Health Minister Stephen Donnelly declared in a statement.

David – thanks for your excellent reporting on this. Here’s a perspective from a VA resident (27years) of rural Fauquier County. Recently the Town Council of Warrenton, VA, Fauquier County Seat and one of the U.S.’s most beautiful ‘Main Street’ communities, approved an Amazon Web Services data center a few thousand feet from the center of main street. The ‘approval’ was pushed through despite thunderous disapproval by the vast majority of both city residents and county residents. Did I mention AWS is dependent on new power distribution to this massive data center; and Dominion will supply that power? In fact the massive build out of data centers in the Northern Virginia suburbs is the main driver for the large power appetite in VA.
Unfortunately, VA Governor Youngkin, elected as a conservative, has been a supporter of the ‘renewable’ power fantasies, including the massive offshore developments and the solar ‘farms’ now erasing rural farmland. So, in addition to the many sacrifices of wildlife, quality of life is rapidly declining. But AWS and the politicians in and around Washington, D.C. – many of whom live in the growing Northern Virginia data center wasteland – are happy campers.

    MSM blind in one eye.

‘On May 4, India’s capital of New Delhi recorded the third coldest May morning since 1901. At 16 degree Celsius (60 Fahrenheit), the region’s 32 million residents woke up to a relatively cold morning in what is usually the hottest month of the year.

‘So why is there a record low temperature when the dominant mainstream narrative tells us that climate change has made our environs warmer than before? Is this just an aberration?

‘While Western media obsessed with the warm weather in Spain, India’s capital recorded a very cold summer morning. In fact, most of the cold-weather records in Delhi have gone unreported in Western media, which are mainly interested in showcasing the city’s extreme summer temperatures.’ (CO2 Coalition)

Power bills up 25% for Eastern Aussie..

    The reasons are-

“driven by a spate of coal-fired power station failures last year, and the war in Ukraine driving up the cost of the coal and gas that’s needed to generate electricity.”

of course a solid plug for Labor in there too-

“this year’s increases were not as large as they would have been if the Albanese government had not introduced emergency laws in December to temporarily cap the price of domestic gas at $12 a gigajoule and domestic coal at $125 a tonne, the regulator has said.”

    Good ol’ SMH, Propaganda Central!

An aside in there shows that giving kids over $1000 cash a fortnight to look for a job is sounding too much, so now we talk about $76 a day, it sounds much less..
