And I hope that the winter in Europe is terrible, the lights go out for a week, for their sake and the world. Before the UN/EU can switch to ‘extreme events’ and ‘Global Cooling’ they are caught pushing Global Warming while people are freezing. And the insanity of crippling the world is exposed as a complete sham.

I have written about the science of the highly soluble gas Carbon Dioxide on this blog for many years and can say honestly I cannot find a shred of evidence for more than 3% man made CO2 in the atmosphere let alone man made planetary climate effects. It is all a Climate Scientology religion, fake science and (electrical/electoral) power and a lot of money. Open borders, captured organizations, Woke philosophy, gender dysphoria, even pronouns, AntiFA, BLM are all part of the same Post Modernist, openly Marxist attempt to destroy the most fair, the most successful, the most effective democratic societies on Earth. People, especially real qualified scientists, are intimidated into compliance. In Australia we put a Catholic Cardinal in prison, in solitary confinement for year without any evidence at all. And no one noticed. Ecology in particular has become a monster like a James Cameron horror story of the planet vs the inhabitants.

And in particular to quote our former Prime Minister, by far the most popular of the 21st century, Tony Abbott, Climate Change is Crap.

We could do with leaders of that calibre today instead of the world cabal of self interested UN/EU/WEF/China toadies who seem to run every Western country with a convicted criminal now in charge of Brazil, a geriatric sock puppet still running the US from permanent retirement at home and no leader at all in Britain and a narcissist in Canada. As was written on the Berlin wall, socialist is what totalitarians call themselves.

So my New Year’s wish is the end of hostilities in Europe, both against Ukraine and against the people of the world, a war waged iike every other, by politicians against their own people.

PM Tony Abbott never said that climate change is crap, that is what his political opponents claimed that he said, but they left out the part referring to UN IPCC climate modelling.

He is a sceptic and of course understands that climate changing is natural Earth Cycles.

I’m not a sceptic. That implies doubt. There is no truth to the core statement that CO2 is 33% fossil fuel. No one has even offered any proof of this essential statement. It is not a statement of fact and never was.

And nothing after that is true either but it hardly matters. If CO2 levels are controlled totally by the ocean, nett zero is just another senseless and destructive political fantasy. Banning fossil fuels is idiocy. And half the CO2 comes from China anyway, more than all other countries combined. So the country with the world’s biggest army and airforce is still treated as if it is a struggling third world country and nothing is said. Why?

Denier? There’s nothing to deny. It’s all made up nonsense.

And I have noticed there is no longer any debate about ‘Climate Change’ (Used to be known as Global Warming). In fact there never was.

There must be ten articles a day in any given news outlet about Carbon credits, carbon taxes, oil protests, pressures on boards to comply, financial extortion, shutting coal mines, turning off gas, eating bugs and the rocketing cost of gas and coal. Except how governments are going to punish companies making windfall profits by stealing all the cash with tax ‘reform’. Not a single article which questions what used the be called ‘The Science’.

So the current view is that there is no view. Climate Change, an unproven and unlikely piece of wild conjecture is now international law. Apparently there is no need for proof after two generations of insistence that it is all true. And no scientific organization disagrees. They would not dare.

In my view, the western nations became too successful in the standard of living stakes. The people in particular became complacent and lived in a world of over tolerance and belief in the political system such that everyone can spout wonderful sounding ideas which are not refuted because history at school is either taught to few or without the knowledge to break down stupidity. Inane ideas thrived. The marxists climbed into the complacency hole 50years ago. They took to undercutting every value the West had and which underlied its success.

Politicians, ever on the lookout for power to themselves, climbed into the same hole prepared for them by the UN and EU they love. Party was no barrier. They gave us the Global Warming opinion based science. They amputated true science to take the power. They’ve started down the road of repression of the people by the autocracy offered from big business and finance and prefer the idea of a globalist governance in which they play a permanent and bigger part, as per the EU Commission. COVID-19 suppression has taught them the usefulness of wielding policing and censoring powers against the people we never thought we would see in this country.

The people remain complacent, bought off by soft words and ‘price capping’. Our education system which got us to where we were, has been dumbed down so we produce more mainly little socialists is now followed by a move to franchise 16yo’s. That becomes a socialist coup if introduced as the Teals seem to want to do at the next sitting of Parliament.

I see Elon Musk as the one possible bright spot left. It is a risk to his Tesla empire, but if he opens up Twitter to full debate on all topics, doesn’t censor Climate’Science’ to save Tesla, if it hasn’t been sold purely on a ‘save the planet’ consideration, then true science and scientists can make a huge comeback. Appropriately trained, experienced professional people such as many on this blog, and others not on it, can jump into the fray on Twitter. That’s where the fightback starts.

The success of the marxists is built on many woke ideas contrary to the values, I believe, of most mainstream Australians and many in the west. The suffering coming down on the free West by such authoritarian dogma-that-withstands-no argument and by the hardships it is rendering, makes the ground ripe for people to sit back and consider more carefully the alternatives to what they have let themselves fall ‘victim’ to. A scam is a scam no matter how big nor by whose hands it has been developed. That includes external and internal political activists that must be outed and called to account and punished. Currently, they along with the carpet baggers are reaping huge rewards.

It’s tragic that NZ has been chosen by the WEF to be ruled by one of its puppets.

Ardern herself remained president of the International Union of Socialist Youth over a year after election to Parliament, subsequently becoming a WEF Young Global Leader. In its basic aim for world government, WEF intends that global leaders commit to taking responsibility for (i.e. virtually ruling) their countries.

We are no better off in politics here in Australia with a majority of elected representatives leaning centre-left to far-left, as compared to what the balance used to be meaning politicians from the ALP in the majority were centre to centre-left and Liberal-National centre to centre-right on the political spectrum, and the average Australian was not really interested in politics but tended to also be around the centre or middle ground.

Our PM has a far-left background including international communist organisations and admires the late Leon Trotsky the Marxist revolutionary.

It’s sometimes puzzling with modern popular music how some songs you hear sneak up on you, and you wonder why they were never released as Singles, when other songs from the same album were released and you don’t think much of them.

I have actually lost count of the number of times I have purchased an album and liked another song on it better than the released Single, and I have more than 300 vinyl LPs and around 200CDs, and 170Gig of digital music, and hey, I will NEVER play all of it.

The same happened with ABBA. I liked some of their songs, but never enough to purchase an album, and because the song wasn’t released as a Single, I never heard it.

Although the song was originally released in 1977, I didn’t hear it until well into this Century. It was from a 4 CD (80 songs) Ultimate Collection Boxed Set. I was just playing it through when I heard it, and sometimes your head snaps around and you say, where the he11 did that come from?

The song is Move On from the 1977 album ABBA: The Album, released in conjunction with ABBA: The Movie.

Bjorn does the first verse in spoken word, and then Agnetha does the singing voice vocals for the next verses with the band doing the chorus.

This is just such a wonderful song, and below is the link to the YouTube video.

For civil purposes most of us here are subject to the adoption of the Gregorian calendar to replace the Julian calendar in England and its colonies including British America as the US was then known, which was adopted in 1752.

    https://libguides.ctstatelibrary.org/hg/colonialresearch/calendar

    Changes of 1752

In accordance with a 1750 act of Parliament, England and its colonies changed calendars in 1752. By that time, the discrepancy between a solar year and the Julian Calendar had grown by an additional day, so that the calendar used in England and its colonies was 11 days out-of-sync with the Gregorian Calendar in use in most other parts of Europe.

England’s calendar change included three major components. The Julian Calendar was replaced by the Gregorian Calendar, changing the formula for calculating leap years. The beginning of the legal new year was moved from March 25 to January 1. Finally, 11 days were dropped from the month of September 1752.

The changeover involved a series of steps:

-December 31, 1750 was followed by January 1, 1750 (under the “Old Style” calendar, December was the 10th month and January the 11th)

-March 24, 1750 was followed by March 25, 1751 (March 25 was the first day of the “Old Style” year)

-December 31, 1751 was followed by January 1, 1752 (the switch from March 25 to January 1 as the first day of the year)

-September 2, 1752 was followed by September 14, 1752 (drop of 11 days to conform to the Gregorian calendar)

    SEE LINK FOR REST

In other places beyond the British colonies the Gregorian calendar was adopted in the following years (from Wikipedia).

1582 Spain, Portugal, France, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Italy, Catholic Low Countries, Luxembourg, and colonies thereof

1584 Kingdom of Bohemia, some Catholic Swiss cantons

    1610 Prussia
    1648 Alsace
    1682 Strasbourg

1700 Protestant Low Countries, Norway, Denmark, some Protestant Swiss cantons

1752 Great Britain, Ireland, and the “First” British Empire (1707–1783)

    1753 Sweden and Finland
    1873 Japan
    1875 Egypt
    1896 Korea
    1912 China, Albania

I have a supply of non-perishable food but will top up.

I have a petrol/gasoline generator but will get more petrol plus fuel stabiliser for longer storage life.

I have a small home built solar system, not mains connected so I can recharge small devices like phones, torches (US=flashlights), laptops etc. but when the SHTF, I expect the phones and Internet will go down, but maybe not if you are connected by Elon Musk’s Starlink.

For those interested in extremely long term meat preservation without refrigeration look up pemmican.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pemmican?wprov=sfla1

It was made by native Americans and used extensively by American pioneers.

There are plenty of recipes on YouTube.

Since there is no “official” recipe for pemmican, the shelf life may vary depending on ingredients and storage conditions. At room temperature, pemmican can generally last from one to five years, but there are anecdotal stories of pemmican stored in cool cellars being safely consumed after a decade or more.

For those looking to store meat without power, you should purchase a pressure canner which are a few hundred bucks on ebay.
The process is simple enough and videos and guides abound.
Alternatively, 3 way camping freezers are a good choice albeit pricey for some.

Have just installed a 280amp 24 volt lithium battery system in the van along with an inverter that can handle 3000watt constant or supposedly double for starting surges , yet to fit the 3 x 370 watt solar panels on the van roof but if we were looking at an extended blackout I could add more panels and run a seperate system I have in the tug which is 320amp x 12 volt with a 3000 inverter . As back up have two petrol generators, so if I was to just keep the fridges , lights and pumps going plus the swampies I reckon I’d make it . Extrapolated out sums up continuing stupidity of the World over the past 55 Years

2022 Same Shit, Different Year: 55 Years Of Failed Eco-pocalyptic Predictions

      SUMMARY

Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today.

None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true.

What follows is a collection of notably wild predictions from notable people in government and science.

More than merely spotlighting the failed predictions, this collection shows that the makers of failed apocalyptic predictions often are individuals holding respected positions in government and science.

While such predictions have been and continue to be enthusiastically reported by a media eager for sensational headlines, the failures are typically not revisited.

      The Bottom Line:

There is not a single natural disaster, nor trend in any type of natural disaster that can be credibly linked with emissions or whatever gradual “climate change” may be occurring for whatever reason, including natural climate change. Attributing natural disaster damages to emissions and climate change is without a factual or scientific basis. And that certainly goes for 2022.

History cannot turn; it is simply a continually agregating record of whatever occurred the moment before now. Events however can change the course of human lives: the discovery of fossil fuels brought a paradigm shift in human health, safety, freedom, prosperity, longevity, general lifestyles and well-being in daily lives gradually spreading across the globe. All things the Great Reset is attempting to reverse. Future historians may well say this moment in time marked another great shift, if we allow it to succeed.

Last week of 2022 in the NEM saw coal supplying 55% of demand on average, but peaking at 65%, and gas averaging 3%, but peaking at 12%.
And those wonderful “renewables”: solar 23% on average but zero every night, and wind 13% on average but varying randomly from 2-20%.
Liddell is due to close in April 2023, but Liddell 3 is already gone, and Liddell 2 closed on Dec 9, leaving 1 & 4 to deliver a combined 600 MW 24×7.
Eraring is due to close in 2025, but regularly powers and and down each day from 1-2,000 MW to accommodate that daily solar splurge.
In the last six months, wholesale spot prices have ranged from $145-190/MWhr, but with a cold start to summer, prices in December were below $85.

Amen. As they say in NYC, happy noo yee!

As for justice, I bought popcorn futures for a reason. Justice rarely comes swiftly, so keep in mind the investor’s wisdom: the wider the base, the higher in space.

A headline in today’s edition of a UK newspaper:

“Sudden Stratospheric Warming To Trigger New Year Snow With Arctic Freeze”

Because atmospheric heating causes cooling, LoL.

This is why the marketing people had to change the name of the scam from global warming to climate change, now climate catastrophe or whatever the latest term is.

Freezing is the new warming – got it. Hey if it’s in the newspaper it’s gotta be correct, I mean Fact-CHEKA & Standards, no? Still waiting on The Warming here… maybe next year… it’s enough to cause Climate Anxiety (latest branding name-change by the Cult). Rubbish.

It seems that catastrophic climate change is unequivocally proven by what we use to call ‘weather’. The planet is doomed if it’s warm, cold, dry, wet, windy, calm …

I am opposed to allowing politicians to make changes to the Constitution via a referendum unless we are treated with respect and shown exactly for what reasons and purposes with complete details of the proposed changes and legal advice as to what the result of the proposed changes would be.

“Sky News Contributor James Macpherson says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is “encouraging” people to think with “their feelings” when voting for the Voice to Parliament.

“The constitution is a legal document that outlines how the country is run, it’s not a hallmark greeting card to express sentiments,” Mr Macpherson told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Rather than explaining the detail and treating people like adults, he’s just appealing to people’s emotions.””

    Latest news from Mars.

    Some highlights.

    1) The InSight mission (2018-2022) is over due to dusty solar panels. Apparently NASA had thought of wipers but they considered the weight penalty too great. Several other NASA missions on Mars have also failed due to dusty solar panels.

    2) The mineral olivine has been found in the dry lake bed Perseverance is exploring. On earth olivine is rare on the earth’s surface because it eventually dissolves in water. The implication is that the water that formed the lake on Mars may have either been frozen most of the time or brine. Thick brines such as the Dead Sea in Israel do not support much life except a small number of adapted bacteria.

    3) The helicopter Ingenuity keeps flying and flying, way beyond its expected mission life.

Biden knows something we don’t know.

‘The government’s UFO office has been ordered to re-investigate an alleged 1945 crash of a strange object in New Mexico – dubbed the ‘Roswell before Roswell’.

‘A new military spending bill signed into law by President Biden last week was specifically amended to incorporate the intriguing case into a historic review of UFO incidents to be conducted by the Department of Defense.’ (UK Mail)

The Roswell case has been rationally explained on numerous occassions.

As have the supposed UFO cases released by the Pentagon a year or so ago.

      It is a diversionary tactic.

Years ago I watched a video produced by the television programme 60 Minutes about UFOs over Mexico City recorded images from hundreds of video cameras on that national day of celebration, there are links available today.

The presenter asked viewers to send copies of their images for investigation and many did resulting in a very interesting examination, the Air Force sent jet fighters to check the UFOs that were in a formation of one plus two behind and one at the rear but as the aircraft approached they moved away at high speed and disappeared. But an hour or so later the UFOs returned.

A couple of NASA rocket science engineers were consulted and I remember them being interviewed with a screen in front with the UFOs enlarged and pulsating, one engineer remarked that it appeared to be using “field propulsion” and said “we have been working on that technology”.

There is much more to the investigation, believe it or not.

I have experienced one observation that consisted of four red spots in the sky over Queensland early 2000s, same one plus two plus one formation and the light was constant, not an aircraft and only red. The red spots were moving quickly to the North and passed overhead very quickly. I was sitting with friends at a dinner party on a verandah, a next door neighbour called out to us to look at the red spots. Another formation passed overhead travelling North a while later.

Many years ago I met a former ADF Officer who had been in Indonesia carrying out various duties and he told a group of people including me about being on board a RAAF Hercules C-130 aircraft flying to Indonesia from Australia and about to cross the WA coastline. He was standing in the cabin talking to the RAAF flight crew and they all sighted not shiny aluminium appearance cylinder like a cigar container, it was longer than a Boeing 747 and had no wings or tail section, no windows, and was hovering a few thousand metres higher than the C-130 flight path and the C-130 flew past and below. Apparently the air controller acknowledged the object when the RAAF crew reported it. A year or two later the Army Officer met the RAAF crew again but they refused to discuss the sighting but did not deny the experience, they said they were not permitted to discuss it.

So who knows, there are many reports and of course many can be explained, but what about the ones that cannot be explained?

And in Victoria, Dictator Dan’s gift (of our taxes) to the Vicdanistani people is a massively over-budget specialised cardiac hospital.

Must be for all those “mysterious” cases of myocarditis.

    Happy New Year

    From Armstrong Economics –

“Remember, the future may be in turmoil, but to reach the promised land of reform, we first must go through the crisis that opens the door for the opportunity to create a whole new world. As Einstein said, the ONLY source of knowledge is experience. We must learn from these events to improve the future for ourselves and our children. It is not that the whole world is doomed. Civilization will reemerge and with some luck, we will enter a new world of enlightenment.

The best we can do is educate people for we will have the opportunity to redesign our environment and we need to learn from these mistakes. I believe Schwab have have looked at our model and what he is trying to do is he sees the real Great Reset which is 2032 and he is trying to force the tree to fall in his direction of total control. That failed for Marx and Lenin. It would fail again because it is against human nature.
Yes, there is a Great Reset coming. It is up to us to make this come out the way to freedom and enlightenment. This is no time to get depressed. We have a lot to do. We will survive.”

I avoided it until 11:50pm, then tuned in and was immediately impelled to turn off again. Turned on again just in time for the actual fireworks, with muted sound as the ‘music’ was pretty horrible. I found myself wishing for a display using ‘Music for the Royal Fireworks’ instead. Next time I’ll wait for the actual display only, muted, with the ‘Music for the Royal Fireworks’ set to play at the same time, though one would’nt actually hear the sound of the fireworks with it.

So, monkeypox disappeared off the scene very quickly.

Apparently the name was “racist” (sic). Against what? Monkeys?

    It is now called mpox.

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/renames-monkeypox-mpox-citing-racism-concerns-94081432

WHO said it was concerned by the “racist and stigmatizing language” that arose after monkeypox spread to more than 100 countries. It said numerous individuals and countries asked the organization “to propose a way forward to change the name.”

In August, WHO began consulting experts about renaming the disease, shortly after the U.N. agency declared monkeypox’s spread to be a global emergency.

I guess they had to claim it was either “racist” against no one, or “homophobic” in reference to the majority of people who acquired it.
