Another UN WHO power-grab — Global Pandemic Treaty is “a trillion dollar business deal”

Failure is Success!

Like a cancer, big-government begets bigger-government — and failure is not something that gets in the way, it’s an essential ingredient. Failure is success, because if the bureaucrats accidentally solved the problem there would be no need for more funds, more staff and more rules, geddit?

The WHO is the greatest failed bureaucracy in the world

WHO World Health Organisation
The World Health Organisation had only one job, to prevent pandemics, and instead  it helped kill at least six million people (so far), and spread disease and chaos to every corner of the world.  WHO made sure nations kept flying in the bioweapon from Wuhan when they could so easily have stopped it. And Tedros, of course, is a devoted minion of President Xi, and a former Minister of Ethiopia during the time the Chinese Belt and Road expanded there. Even as China lied about the human spread and risk of Covid in January 2020 — Tedros worked as a one-man advertising man to cover the bad news and promote the leader of the CCP.

It’s just a $10 billion UN “preparedness fund”

Big-Pharma logoThe WHO wants a Pandemic Treaty like an IPCC committee for viruses. And both sides of politics in many Western lands will likely be quietly signing away sovereign control from May 22 – 28.

It’s an unholy alliance of unelected power-mongers with pharmaceutical giants, billionaires with God complexes, and military adversaries. What’s not to like if you are a Communist, a corporation, a psychopath or President Xi — who by the way isn’t signing anything. He doesn’t need to work for the UN. The UN works for him. Thank Tedros.

Meanwhile the election in Australia approaches with endless analysis on personality frou frou but nothing on whether the UN should control our borders, our health, our electricity,  or get even one goddam red cent.

What’s a sovereign state anyway?

China, dragon flag.

It’s hard to believe that a vote in Geneva would really have legal or constitutional shtick over a sovereign nation with an actual constitution, but the lines are getting blurry.  Consider that for two years, unvaccinated Australians were banned from leaving our own country “because of a WHO treaty”. That’s what our Chief Health Officer told us.  The truth is that the rules were enshrined in our The Biosecurity Emergency Declaration. But all that took — apparently — was for the WHO to declare a pandemic and then our Minister asked the Governor General to declare there was an emergency. The declaration even mentioned the WHO specifically — and gives the Minister the power to “implement a WHO Recommendation under the International Health Regulations.”

Many UN Treaties need local domestic laws, but as we know from the IPCC, the UN paperwork can be purely symbolic, but it becomes a weapon to create real legislation at home. And both major parties in Australia are gung ho for UN control. It’s someone else to blame, and a good career path for later. Our best hope on Saturday is a gridlocked Senate. Put the majors last! (Or just above the Teals and Greens.)

Australia set to sign Geneva’s Global Pandemic Treaty

Flat White, The Spectator

Having acquired a taste for globalised control during the Covid pandemic, the World Health Organisation has teamed up with vaccine manufacturers, philanthropic billionaires, and power-crazed world leaders to create a ‘Global Pandemic Treaty’ in Geneva.

It is set to form part of the ‘one health’ approach proposed by the WHO and has been pitched by its creators as a way to overcome the inconvenient battle between – as they put it – globalism and statism.

It’s a hell of a business model. The same group that keeps the borders open accepts funds from the people who sell the vaccines, and then lobbies the rich countries to buy lots, buy more, and buy for the poor too!

A more accurate reading of the situation comes from discussions had at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations launched at the World Economic Forum in 2017, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, and a consortium of nations that include Australia. The Liberal government pledged a further $100 million to CEPI in March, 2022 to add to the $1.5 billion it has raised from other governments. As explained in a previous Spectator Australia article, CEPI’s mission is to create ‘equitable access to vaccines’ because they do not like the volatility (and competition) of the free market. This is the same organisation that poured a fortune into RNA and mRNA vaccines for the WHO’s DiseaseX scenario which – less than a year later – was put into emergency production to combat Covid as a ‘proof of concept’ exercise. Their stated objective from the beginning, long before Covid, has been to find a way to force Western governments to purchase vaccines in bulk for the Third World under the banner of ‘equity’.

The handling of the Covid pandemic is being used as an excuse to justify what was already designed and publicised. In this light, the proposed Global Pandemic Treaty is – first and foremost – a trillion-dollar business deal.

The same group that keeps the doors open for germs is controlled by a man with a debt connection to the nation that wants the germs spread.

Worse, the nation that caused the pandemic – China – is one of the notable absences from the treaty. What is the point of enacting the treaty if Patient Zero refuses to come to the table? It’s a bit like the United Nations’ Climate Change promises that don’t include the world’s largest polluter.

Time to raise hell:

The vote for this dangerous Pandemic Treaty will be held in Geneva on May 22-28. Whoever the next Prime Minister of Australia is, they will be there will bells on, ready to sign and absolve themselves of the ‘bother’ of responsibility. It is a dream come true for weak leaders who would love nothing better than to let the blame for the next pandemic and the accompanying citizen outrage rest safely offshore.

While the UN may not command an army or police force, they can wave the IMF threateningly, call in their banker friends, hustle up hurtful press releases, cut off career prospects and make life hard for non-compliant politicians and states. In the end, only a celebrity billionaire commanding the largest military empire on Earth would dare suggest cutting their funding (which he did).

Such is the soft-power of centralized corruption —  unelected, unaudited, and unaccountable. What career politician wouldn’t hanker for a sweet job, foreign travel, and no voters to get in the way?

More soon on the US Amendments.

When the climate scare failed to spook folk into submission, the ‘Pandemic’ saved the plan.
    Accidental convenience.
    Totally random,
    No … really.

How are the people in Sweden responding to this proposal?
1IRC they took a radically different response to the pandemic and kept their economy relatively afloat.

Yep. And now there’s Monkey Virus — from Africa — to give all the Pandemic Laws a test run and tune up.

The “Panic Scripts” are all in place, just short of the dangerous/hostile Experimental Medications … ah Vaccines.
Better get those in place. I heard on the Radio (can’t be bothered with Tee Vee) there were a whole two cases to keep your vaccinators occupied …

That was yesterday, so you can’t say you’re not being given a great chance for it to spread widely.

      Enjoy.

Oops: my mistake: it’s not just plain “monkey” virus but monkeypox virus.

Hmm. Must be far more dangerous … not.

Supposed to be rare outside Africa. Canada has adjusted its geography and got (allegedly) 17 cases in the Montreal area. Gosh. Those meeses get around …

Yes, it’s actually very scary what’s happening. Western powers must be so fearful of their citizens who might turn on them so they keep jumping to ways and means to introduce more and more draconian measures “in the interests of our safety”. Our own governments must be petrified at the thought of allowing us to think for ourselves. It should be the other way around; governments fearful of those who vote them into power in the first place.

My fear is that a MORE left-leaning government will impose further lockdowns and other means of control. If anything Morrison has declared that there will be no more of that Stalinist approach. I pray that the the internationalists within are defeated.

Indeed, and contrary to the misinformation floating around the Prime Minister, the Treasurer and other Federal Cabinet Ministers did speak in opposition to the extended lockdown periods and restrictions imposed by State Governments, but States have Constitutions and there is of course the national Constitution, areas of responsibilities and powers of States cannot be overturned by a Federal Government apart from special circumstances set out in constitutional laws.

Opinions were given that interstate border closure was unconstitutional but courts of law disagreed and upheld the WA closure decision under the circumstances prevailing, and in VIC business owners lost in the High Court when they challenged lockdowns.

The Federal constitution is above all laws and constitutions. https://ausconstitution.peo.gov.au/
“The Australian Constitution has properly been described as ‘the birth certificate of a nation’. It also provides the basic rules for the government of Australia.

Indeed, the Constitution is the fundamental law of Australia binding everybody including the Commonwealth Parliament and the Parliament of each State. Accordingly, even an Act passed by a Parliament is invalid if it is contrary to the Constitution.”

Forgot State Constitutions, and areas of responsibility and powers of State Govermments that continued from Colonial Governments to Federation of States, Commonwealth of Australia.

            As for constitutional laws, two matters to consider;

            * Interstate border closures, the general legal opinion was that closure is unconstitutional, when challenged the WA Supreme Court decided under the pandemic circumstances prevailing that closure was lawful, and later the High Court supported that decision.

            * Business owners in VIC challenged the Victoria Parliament Emergency Powers and lockdowns and lost in court.

And no, the Prime Minister stated yesterday in reply to a question that the Federal Government he leads will not sign.

As for referring to courts of law as “corrupt”, that comment reflects badly on you and your bad attitude. Be careful allegations like that can lead to very difficult consequences.

This must certainly not a deliberate attempt to do anything of the kind but was in fact backing up the comment from Dennis “Be careful allegations like that can lead to very difficult consequences.”

Far from a bid to silence or scare it was making the point that you could be liable if a comment from one of your contributors was thought defamatory and chose to take action which was why the link was there.

I find your comment totally offensive and hurtful as it claims something that had never crossed my mind. Still it is my choice to contribute to this site and I can leave at any time I choose just as you can ban me at any time you choose.

” At the last election Shorten called it a “climate election”, and he lost.”

You may recall that at the last election Abbott backflipped on Paris and said “stay’. He lost too. Your point is?

And to ensure that I make it abundantly plain I am thinking very carefully about my answer to # 2, I have been looking at how to respond to your derogatory and totally incorrect comment that was

“DONT be ridiculous. As if the law doesn’t allow people to say “the courts are corrupt”

you might like to consider re-thinking it.

Have you never heard of contempt of court?

I have, and as I almost invariably do, have also taken the time to ensure my comments are factually correct. The following is from WA. The other states have similar legislation

Contempt of Court in the Magistrates Court
Pursuant to section 15 of the Magistrates Court Act 2004 a person is guilty of contempt of court if while the court is sitting the person wilfully:

              interrupts the proceedings
              misbehaves before the court; or
              insults the Registrar or Magistrate.

If a person is found guilty of contempt of court in the Magistrates Court of Western Australia the court may impose a fine of not more than $12,000 or a term of not more than 12 month’s imprisonment, or both.

Contempt of Court in the District Court
Pursuant to Section 63 of the District Court Act 1969 (WA), a person can be found in contempt of court in the District Court if they:

wilfully insult a judge, juror, registrar, the sheriff, clerk or officer of the court during his sitting or attendance in court or any judge who is going to or returning from the court; or
              wilfully interrupt proceedings of the court;

“If a person is found guilty of contempt of court in the District Court of Western Australia the person may be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years or may impose on the person a fine not exceeding $50,000”.

As is apparent I was not being ridiculous and the law does not allow people to say “the courts are corrupt”.

Ian, the only mandate in the last 15 years at an election was a 90 seat landslide for “No Carbon Tax”. When Australian voters were given a climate choice they wanted nothing. At the last election Shorten called it a “climate election”, and he lost. After consistently voting for No Carbon Action since 2010 it’s obvious the only game is to make sure the people don’t get a choice.

Why bother quoting rigged ACF polls that never ask the important questions. As a reader here, you know that Australians don’t want to pay for “climate control”. Remember this: 70% of Australians don’t even want to spend $1 a week on “Net Zero”. March 29th 2022.

Let’s take a couple of the “choices” for answersw, and see if you can provide anything to back them up…

                —-

“I support action on climate change because the benefits outweigh the costs”

So a) what do they mean by “actions on climate change? b) what benefits are there in whatever this means.. c) what costs ?

The whole statement in nonsense from start to finish.. It is a “mantra statement”

If you can’t tell us exactly what it means and give science and economics based answers to b and c.. its a pointless and meaningless choice that no-one can answer.

                —-

“Action on climate change will produce some short-term costs but then long-term benefits”

Seriously! ?.. same mantra nonsense. What long term benefits? the total destruction of the electricity supply system ?

Then some nonsense on “Net Zero” which no-one in the general public knows jack about.. Again.. a mantra brain-washed statement….

                —-

                Then this idiotic gem.

“Replace gas and coal-fired power stations with renewable energy and battery storage”

Can’t be done, and never will be done. so yet another nonsense choice.

                —-

So, sorry Ian, but any rational mind, (you are not in that group, obviously), should spot this poll as a meaningless piece of junk propaganda from the very get-up.

The United Australia Party is the only party (AFAIK) that has expressed concerns about Globalist Morrison’s (pretend conservative) intention to sign this treaty if he wins the election. It goes without saying that Green Labor will sign it if they win.

It’s almost certain that the Liberal Democratic Party would also oppose it.

I’ve learned a new term from this – ‘One Health’

As in the original 25 leader letter:

The main goal of this treaty would be to foster an all-of-government and all-of-society approach, strengthening national, regional and global capacities and resilience to future pandemics. This includes greatly enhancing international cooperation to improve, for example, alert systems, data-sharing, research, and local, regional and global production and distribution of medical and public health countermeasures, such as vaccines, medicines, diagnostics and personal protective equipment.

It would also include recognition of a ‘One Health’ approach that connects the health of humans, animals and our planet. And such a treaty should lead to more mutual accountability and shared responsibility, transparency and cooperation within the international system and with its rules and norms.

    https://leohohmann.com/2021/04/01/globalists-solution-to-pandemic-a-new-treaty-that-would-essentially-create-a-world-government/

UN mission creep and power grab – again.

The only bright(dark) side of this UN ‘One Health’ initiative is that in NZ and elsewhere the covid stats are going against the covid vax-is-good, antivax-is-bad narrative.

      NZ stats here:
Covid-19 data visualisations: NZ in numbers
      https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/in-depth/450874/covid-19-data-visualisations-nz-in-numbers

      Scroll right down to:

      Who’s catching Covid-19
#1 Vaccination status of total cases and hospitalisations since August 2021 [Hospitalised/Cases]
#2 Vaccination status of deaths within 28 days of being reported as a case
#3 Vaccination status of population and 7 day rolling average of new cases and hospitalisations
#4 Vaccination status of new cases per 100,000 of population segment
#5 Vaccination status of new hospitalisations per 100,000 of population segment

Note the red vs green colour coding. Unvaccinated – red, Boosted – green. Obviously the initial intention was to cast the unvaxxed as red-is-bad villians because green-is-good boosting will save the day. Problem is that the stats have gone opposite and if anything green-is-bad. Very bad.

Note how the category ‘Not fully vaccinated’ in the deaths graph (#2) cobbles to together unvaxxed + partially vaxxed (1 shot and some 2 shot).

“Not fully vaccinated: Includes unvaccinated people, people who have only had one dose, and people who had a second dose fewer than seven days prior to infection”

Those 3 categories of deaths are of critical interest but no, looks so much better for the narrative to lump those 3 together.

It’s just a matter of time before the wider populace tumbles to what these stats are showing. I watch the daily updates religiously but I doubt there’s many doing same – that will change eventually. The govt is still preaching boosters but the numbers belie the facts.

Which is why the UN has to act quickly on ‘One Health’.

      COVID was the trial run.

“One Health” also implies only one approved treatment modality for future pandemics. Independent thinking or non-Big Pharma treatments will not be allowed.

E.g. with covid the safe anti-virals were banned in highly UN/WHO compliant Nanny State countries like Australia/NZ and HCQ was banned even before vaccines were available. And even though the beneficial effects of safe supplements like Vitamin D and zinc were well-known by informed people, no health department or medical officials anywhere advocated their use to minimise the severity of covid infection. In fact, in Canada doctors were threatened with deregistration if they suggested to patients to take Vitamin D for resilience to covid.

The one prophylactic treatment that was approved and in Australia was effectively compulsory was the vaccines. There were also limited and mostly ineffective approved treatment options for hospitals, and certainly not IVM or HCQ.

It all makes sense when you read Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s book.

The Socialist-Greens REALLY like their ‘all-of-society approach’ – health, transport, energy, business…got to “transform” everything. Never mind they are only just a majority – for now; those that are actually voted in that is.

A hung parliament result and Gillard Labor forced to form an alliance minority government, one astute political journalist commented that he wondered if PM Gillard was skilled at herding cats. And that was a good description of the demands from alliance members that unsettled the majority Labor MP side of the alliance and resulted in what was described as “chaos, dysfunction and incompetence”.

For example the promise of no carbon tax was cast aside and we were given a 10% carbon tax and a 10% renewable energy surcharge levied on our electricity bills, plus 10% GST

And of course the Renewable Energy Target with what has cost several billion dollars a year in direct subsidies to renewable energy wind and solar installation businesses, since scheduled to end in 2030 by the Morrison Coalition Government in 2019.

This is a great analysis of this WHO proposal. I have read some hysterical responses on social media – but this is a sober analysis of the actual situation and the risks involved. Yes – we do have national laws and constitutional mechanisms that override an international body like the WHO. But as the Covid manic response demonstrated, politicians of western democracies readily abandoned the principles of their democracies to join the international panic.

So, it is imperative that we heed recent history & elect the few who showed some respect for our democratic rights and national independence. We also need to understand THIS TIME that surrender time international bodies like the WHO is not the way to go.

Vicki, my understanding is that if a pandemic occurs and is declared the Nations constitution is suspended and the WHO constitution is in place. https://apps.who.int/gb/bd/PDF/bd47/EN/constitution-en.pdf?ua=1
Remember we are still under the Pandemic declaration now. The WHO have recently declared the Pandemic will not be over in any country until it is over in every country, Test, Test, Test.
They changed the definition of pandemic from, excessive amount of deaths world wide, to excessive amount of cases. Its a Casedemic.

Vicki the mechanism for ceding sovereignty is in two stages. First sign up to a treaty. Second implement laws consistent with that treaty.

There is also a mechanism for regaining sovereignty by reovking the treaty but that depends on the exit conditions imposed when the nation signed up in the first place.

Not that my voice counts for anything but a treaty with rules to make it hard to get out is not one which should be entered.

WHO could push aside Australian police and take over in a contrived pandemic

      Letter to the Editor

I’m not sure if I have worked it out but the United Nations have a long-term contract with Thuraya satellite phones.

The urban police cars in Queensland have been fitted with Thuraya antennas. Are the UN forces going to compulsory acquire the Australian government vehicles and push the Australian police aside if there is a health emergency after the 22 may 2022 when the Australian government signs the new pandemic WHO legislation that allows the World Health organisation and UN troops to govern Australia in a Health emergency?

I been working on it for 3 days. I noticed the urban police cars are being fitted with Thuraya satellite antennas, seamed strange to me as they have VHF radios with phone capabilities on the GSM network.

I went down the rabbit hole and this is my conclusion.

WHO gets its funding from two main sources: Member States paying their assessed contributions (countries’ membership dues), and voluntary contributions from Member States and other partners.

Prime Minister Morrison made it clear yesterday in reply to questions that the Coalition Federal Government would not cooperate with the WHO proposal, not permit WHO to interfere in the sovereignty of our nation.

But misinformation is dangerous, during January 2022 by video link the PM addressed delegates to the WEF Conference in Davos Switzerland, he rejected the WEF economic model, he was sarcastic in his commentary about it and said that Australia will continue to support free enterprise (capitalism the leftists call it) and seek to increase national economic prosperity.

And by the way, following the economic stimulus funding the Federal Government provided during State Government legislated and imposed lockdowns and restrictions (including vaccine mandates) the economy is growing at a credible 3.5% of GDP, the OECD has forecast 4.1% GD growth in Australia to be achieved soon.

I have searched for a link without success so far but will keep searching later.

By now many Australians should realise that the left leaning media are in the majority and many things are not reported that in my opinion should be, and comments reported out of context (not my job) by omission, (don’t hold a hose) so not a volunteer bushfire fighter but PMs are not usually State Emergency Service or State Rural Fire Service volunteers, PM Abbott the one exception I am aware of. An honest media would not produce deceptive information, like bushfires and flood related, because they should know that natural disasters are primarily State area of responsibility to deal with and there are no Federal Emergency Service or Federal Bushfire Service, etc.

Considering the over-the-top almost hysterical accusations that the WHO Treaty is to be signed I am not surprised that a link to the denial is missing today.

Morrison also said he didn’t support vaccine mandates but that had zero actual effect. He did nothing to push back against state mandates.

His wording might be very important. Will he not sign the pandemic treaty as is (I doubt it), or will he sign it but not do something vague after that which hands sovereign control to the WHO (assuming it’s his role anyhow, which is unlikely next week).

I’m betting his statement is empty. He is merely asserting there is no loss of sovereign control, but the loss will come from legal layers, implications, and “interpretation”.

What more could he have done Jo?

I have discussed this State verses Federal areas of responsibility and powers, constitutional laws, with various qualified people, Assistant Attorney General Amanda Stoker commented on Sky News that a potential exists with external powers but was likely to badly damage federation in the process, and Senator Eric Abetz made a similar observation.

In fact the Prime Minister criticised vaccine mandates a number of times, of course the Federal Government was very worried about that and other adverse impacts on state economics, and therefore the national economy, and accordingly committed substantial funding to support employers and employees as economic stimulus. It proved to be a success with the pandemic recession ended quickly and the national economy growing at 3.5% of GDP, OECD forecasting 4.1% soon.

It was never in the interests of Federal Government, State legislated lockdowns, restrictions, vaccine mandates, etc., to remain in place for such a long time.

But even the National Leaders Cabinet (should have been National Leaders Forum) attempt to gain cooperation and coordination of all States and Territories was flawed because of State powers. And two were challenged in courts of law, border closures and lockdowns (WA & VIC) and States position upheld, and on appeal to the High Court of Australia. It is my understanding that the basis is circumstances prevailing, the pandemic and a precedent with interstate border closure being the Spanish Influenza period early 1900s.

Too many Australians disregard the history since settlement in 1788, the seperate Colonial Governments before Federation of States formed the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand was part of the Colony of New South Wales but they decided not to join the Federation of States. For an example consider New South Wales, in Macquarie Street, Sydney opposite the Conservatorium of Music there is an original colonial building, it was the Colonial Secretary’s offices and after Federation became the Chief Secretary’s offices. The former colonies retained most of their areas of responsibility and related powers after Federation.

The Commonwealth of Australia, Federal Government, has a more external focus and internal spanning all States, defence, foreign affairs, trade, international borders, taxation of income and companies etc. But States have taxes and control interstate borders. Public health is primarily a State responsibility with public hospitals, public schools, state policing, transport, etc.

Accordingly, Emergency Powers were legislated in State Parliaments and Emergency Powers enforced by State Health, Police, etc.

It appears that no matter what the Prime Minister says people will misinterpret, misrepresent, whatever suits their perspective.

I agree that we should put the major parties last, BUT I’ll also definitely put Labor and the Greens last in the house of Reps and the Senate.
I don’t think the Albo and Bandt loonies could run a chook raffle, just look up their Climate change delusional nonsense.
A Labor,Greens control of the Senate would be the finish for fossil fuels reliability in Australia and certainly encourage the clueless Andrew’s govt in Victoria to close down our Coal plants ASAP.
Of course their policies on social issues are straight out of the loony left manual and their lukewarm support for Israel is something I will always oppose.

If you don’t want a major to get your vote in the senate you can not number them at all. If your vote is still in play at your final number it will exhaust and go to no one.

Putting last has the same effect if you number all boxes. If there are a bunch of candidates you definitely don’t want to get your vote (e.g all the green and labour), then there is a risk if you number all boxes that your vote will land with one of them (it’s a remote risk but it is possible).

Also… in the reps number all boxes regardless as a missing box is informal.

Lots of examples of formal and informal here (though no strategic advice)

I numbered all mine below the line. In Vicdanistan there were 79. Putting a major last will ensure that they don’t get public funding for the next election because they only get that for primary votes. If you nuber all below the line, they may or may not get a vote from you depending if the preference is exhausted by the time their number comes up. As the poster above said, don’t give them a preference at all if you don’t want them to get a vote but you still have to number at least 6 above the line or at least 12 below the line.

I have just received the current ” Official Guide to The 2022 Election”and note that the AEC is continuing the give the FALSE impression that in order to have a formal vote for the Senate , at least 6 above ,or at least 12 below the line boxes MUST be marked.THIS is NOT TRUE…..I quote the Electoral act ,and this is confirmed in the “Scrutineers Handbook”(p38 in the current edition), According to the Electoral act Part XVIII The scrutiny, Secs 268Aand 269 (Despite what you will be told at the polling pace) a vote in the senate is NOT INFORMAL if…..”.268A(b)if there are more than 6 squares printed on the ballot paper below the line -the voter has consecutively numbered any of those squares from 1 to 6 (whether or not the voter has also included one or more higher numbers in those squares)” AND “sec 269(1)(b) the voter has marked the number 1,or the number 1 and one or more higher numbers,in squares printed on the ballot paper above the line.” SO For a FORMAL vote only 2squares above the line OR 6 squares below the line are required to satisfy the requirements as detailed in The Act. Many UN Treaties need local domestic laws, but as we know from the IPCC, the UN paperwork can be purely symbolic, but it becomes a weapon to create real legislation at home.

The most important point here – in fact the key to it all – is that the Left don’t want global government. That would mean ceding power to others, which, obviously, they would never do. Instead, they want global governance, meaning that they want to sign their nation up to a bevy of international ‘treaties’ from which they can pick and choose which ones they want to apply domestically. Sometimes domestic legislation may be required and if that legislation faces opposition, they will simply play the good ol’ “We’ll be the odd one out as the rest of the world moves on” card, which they are doing right now with ‘global warming’.

        “The energy grid”.

        1) Electricity supply (and water supply etc) is State responsibility.
        2) Transmission lines and power stations were/are State public assets now sold, leased or demolished by State governments.
        3) The Howard Government initiatives that achieved Kyoto Agreement emissions reduction (exceeded the target) included a “trial basis only” renewable energy 3% target.
        4) The Gillard Government increased the RET to around 30% and added subsidies of now over several billion dollars a year incentive.
        5) The Gillard Government introduced carbon tax 10% and renewable energy surcharge 10% on electricity bills, plus 10% GST, and 10% of those donated to the UN.
        6) SA Labor State Government was first into wind and solar transition, Labor NSW and VIC followed with privatisation of electricity sector public assets.
        7) The Abbott Government lowered the RET and abolished the carbon tax and renewable surcharge.
        8) The Morrison Government in 2019 established 2030 as the end of RET and subsidies.
        9) The Morrison Government has proposed, subject to the necessary State planning approval process, 4 gas fired power stations (1 each VIC and SEQ and 2 NSW).
        10) And 1 HELE coal fired power station for NTH QLD. So far only 1 gas fired generator has been approved, NSW Hunter Valley.
        11) The Morrison Government changed company laws to force greater pricing competition between electricity suppliers.
        12) AEMO is a cooperative of State Govermmebts, Federal Government and other electricity supply companies and organisation interests.

    Excellent comment, DD.
Cuts to the heart of the matter.
This nightmare of obligations to international treaty terms took off decades ago, largely led by those behind then Labour minister Gareth Evans, who at one stage was performing 2 new treaties a week.
At a meeting I attended, a former High Court chief justice asked how many international treaties we had, thinking we had a few dozen. He was gobsmacked when I told him we had 1,200 and growing.
We, the voters, have needed for years to understand and combat the ever-growing bureaucracy and its need to keep growing to survive. Most of our present problems start there and are fed from there. Geoff S

So treaties are the new world currency and, after-China, may not be worth the paper they are printed on?
And soon we will need to see the rise of a “crypto-treaty”.
Fully block-chained along with people who were part of their formulation, promotion and adoption.
Perhaps, sometime in the future, our children will be able to make reparations against their tribes.

Antigone contrasts two types of law and justice: divine or religious law on one hand, and the law of men and states on the other.

Jo — when pandemic states you were for lockdowns and I was not. you were for lockdown because your god is nation state.

I had 3 god in Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Tito, communist party and Yugoslavia — we did not call them dos because we where atheist — but operationally they where gods —

this is what they teach you in the government schools — this are your churches and teacher are your priests.

one day you or your children will find out that nation state is not eternal — not long ago people in Australia where British subjects and now they are Australians –forever

Every person have belief — that is your god

    11

    • #

My belief is in the scientific method, in evidence. The observations show I was correct. I learnt microbiology and applied those principles and I made predictions that were accurate. On Feb 2, 2020 I exposed Tedros as a corrupt tool of Xi increasing the spread of the virus by keeping borders open. On Feb 9th I said “Stop the Flights” and by Feb 16th, I correctly predicted that lockdowns would begin in a month if we did not. Australia started closing schools and borders on April 21 or thereabouts.

I was almost the only one with a plan to stop lockdowns with hard borders and antivirals. The unprepared and uninformed wait to protest til after the lockdowns begin. Too late.

The states with hard borders reduced deaths and economic damage and had short lockdowns. (Eg: WA, NT, Taiwan). The states that used antivirals reduced deaths, spread and economic damage too (Uttar Pradesh, Indonesia, Japan, El Salvador). I explained that Vitamin D3 would save lives from April 2020. All borne out by two years of data. I would change nothing about what I said then, except to be more confident.

Your insults about “my god” are meaningless max. This is a science site. Learn some science. Discuss the data.

I think our current issue is the corrosion of the science academy by an inbred coalition and international political and corporate powers.
If we discuss data, we are currently doing it in the closet while the real decisions are being made somewhere else.
‘Science’ as the likes of Fauci uses the word, is nothing but a political weapon. They’ve turned it into a rhetorical device.
I think maybe the science faithful may need to pick up political weapons to save the faith.
A prime example is your post on the funding grant for climate research at Stanford.
Does anyone think that ‘science’ will be done there?
It will nothing but politically driven faux ‘data’ production to support the alarmist narrative.
This is happening in medicine as well.
History, and virtually all other academic pursuits.
Intellectual product that does support ‘the narrative’ is labeled conspiracy.
Typically, climate papers say, “we have not found evidence of climate change in the face of climate change.”

Science is now politics by other means.

A search of the Australian Federal Government’s Department of Health web site, Therapeutic Goods Administration pages show that since 21 February 2021, the beginning of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, until 04 May 2022, a period of 457 days, there have been 842 deaths associated with the 5 Covid-19 vaccines. For the period 01 January, 1971, the beginning of recording, until 04 May 2022, there have only been 63 deaths associated with the 77 other vaccines used in that 51 year period. That amounts to almost 2 deaths per day from the Covid-19 vaccines compared to about 1 death per 10 month period for all other vaccines, making Covid vaccinations 550 times more deadly than the combined death rate from all other vaccines. This is not vaccination, this has been State sponsored murder.

In spite of this, all other treatments continue to be banned by the Government thereby fulfilling the aim of the World Economic Forum of decimating the World population and changing the human DNA via the gene therapy injection. Could it be that this is due to having a Federal Minister for Health who is a member of the WEF and was their Director of Strategy in 2000-2001 so he would be well aware of their ambition.

The World Health Organisation is under the direction of the Chinese Communist Party and Bill Gates, on behalf of the WEF. Clearly their ‘Treaty’ is directed at progressing towards the WEF’s aim of ‘One World Government’. To add to the agenda, we are already being advised by Bill Gates that the next pandemic is on its way. Apparently it is in the form of a weaponised ‘bird flu’ developed via gain of function research funded by non other than our friendly Dr Anthony Fauci.

The US Constitution has safe guards to prevent the entering into of treaties which could cede sovereignty. Artice II Section 2. Treaties are not constitutional without the advice and consent of the Senate by 2/3s majority vote.

    https://www.senate.gov/general/Features/Treaties_display.htm

    George Washington was far sighted:

    https://www.mountvernon.org/library/digitalhistory/quotes/article/it-is-our-true-policy-to-steer-clear-of-permanent-alliance-with-any-portion-of-the-foreign-world/

The Erosion really began with Woodrow Wilson as he sought to impliment the Wilsonian Diplomacy Paradigm. But the US Senate refused to radify the Treaty of Versailles because it would have ceded sovereignty to unelected buroeacrats. Nonetheless, America was still spared Kyoto even several decades later because it was known that the US Senate would give its consent. The same with Copenhagen. But Obama trampled the US Consitution in 2015 and now it’s anything the president’s handlers want.

Dave and that is likely true. The US Constitution also commands that the states only accept gold or silver as currency or payment, yet this is breached every day.

A constitution is only as good as the men (or women) willing to fight for it. Otherwise it is just ink on paper.

We need to distinguish between money and currency…

Legislation introduced to recognize gold, silver as U.S. currency

Tuesday, U.S. Representative Alex Mooney (R-WV) introduced the Monetary Metals Tax Neutrality Act (H.R. 2284) bill in the House. According to the bill, the proposed legislation would remove capital gains, losses, or any other type of federal income calculation on gold and silver bars and coins. The legislation would effectively recognize gold and silver as forms of currency.

Under current laws, the Internal Revenue Service regards gold and silver as capital assets. It classifies them as “collectibles,” which means they are subject to capital gains taxes. After selling their bullion, gold investors could potentially be taxed at the maximum collectible capital gains rate of 28%. The tax only applies when investors sell their gold or silver.

Currently it has yet to be passed by Congress so gold & silver are not currency but are money.

Right, and the people fighting for the Consitution are the Deplorables. This is the fight of our generation over here. It’s not global warming, although global warming is used as leverage by people like AOC in their fight to make the Constitution just ink on paper. Virtually every agenda item of “progressives” is unconstitutional, because to legally impliment said agenda would require ammending the Constitution. Ammending the Constitution is a difficult process. Therefore the establishment/Swamp have often sucessfully by-passed the Constitution through executive branch policy and lawfare. In a sense this is what American democracy has devolved to. When Pelosi talks about preserving “our democracy” she’s talking about perserving Deep State rule. The threat to “democracy” as defined by the likes of Pelosi is the re-estblishment of the Constitution as the ultimate law of the land. Such things as gun control, the overseeing of elections by state legislatures, who can vote and who can’t, interstate commerce, seperation of church and state, freedom of expression of religious faith, free speech, the rules of obtaining citizenship, treaties and international agreements, are spelled out in the Constitution. If they want to change those things they need to ammend the Constitution item by item first.

This is why the Democrats are so nuts about possible changes of the Roe vs Wade ruling. It’s not about abortion because very little would change in the blue states, or even in many red states. It is because it would mean that they would no longer be able to push their agenda without ammending the Constitution, and/or pushing through legislation which would with stand constitutional scrutiny. And which would require proving their case to the Deplorables in Fly Over Country.

In Australia, the Executive Government (Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers) alone can enter into foreign treaties without approval of Parliament, thus resulting in a loss of sovereignty when globalist Liberal or Green Labor governments are in power.

      https://www.aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Parliamentary_Departments/Parliamentary_Library/Publications_Archive/CIB/cib9596/96cib17

There has also been the suggestion that the continual use of the treaty-making process to increase the legislative powers of the Executive Government, beyond its express constitutional powers, will lead to the erosion of the federal system and the ‘extinction’ of the States. The Senate Legal and Constitutional References Committee has conducted a review of the external affairs power (in the context of treaty-making) and tabled a report with a number of recommendations entitled: Trick or Treaty? Commonwealth Power to Make and Implement Treaties.

It’s a very serious situation now that Australia has globalist governments no matter which party is in power.

Dave, and I hate to say it, but our freedom probably depends more on your elections than on ours. I don’t mean that as a cop out, but if Trump were President now, we would be safer in Australia, and probably have no Net Zero agreement.

Mostly though, whether Trump was Pres or not — what matters to us is whether the US still has fair elections. If it does not, then we surely — no matter how we vote — will end up sooner or later in the same basket as you.

What concerns me is that the Democrats are going like gangbusters with their disasterous and extremely unpopular policies, despite the elections coming up. It’s as if they know elections don’t matter anymore. Furthermore, the Republicans seem as unconcerned about the integrity of future elections. It’s as if they accept that elections are secure and 2020 was just an aberration.

Let’s hope the Albo donkey doesn’t get a chance to display his virtuous and projected clueless legacy on their so called EXISTENTIAL threat of climate change.
So far no country has increased their commitment or mitigation since the dopey Glasgow circus in 2021.
Another accurate post by Paul Homewood and yet the clueless Albo could be PM on Saturday.

President Trump did the right thing when he defunded WHO and also left the Paris Agreement.

From Maria Zeee, about 1 hour 20 minutes but well worth the time IMO.

    Summary:

Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche joins us again to give another stark warning, following the world experiencing exactly what he warned would happen including ADE and excess deaths.

We also discuss the alarming power grab of the World Health Organization.
