Evil or just greedy? Time to talk about The WEF

WEF, World Economic Forum

….

The World Economic Forum, was founded in 1971 by German engineer and economist Klaus Schwab where he hit upon the winning idea of organizing a ski holiday for the worlds richest people, described as a management training session or something tax deductible. Like most of these conferences, once the richest of the rich were there, everyone else had to be as long as the riff-raff were kept out. The importance of it was almost certainly not the official speeches but the deals done over drinks-with-new-friends at the bar, or on the piste. It was a chance to meet with Moguls on the moguls.

The foundation is mostly funded by its 1,000 member companies, possibly in lieu of the taxes they don’t pay to their home countries. The 1,000 corporate members are all theoretically “$5 billion dollar entities”, except the ones that are $5 Trillion dollar entities, so they are kind of like the UN of the corporate world, with five times as many members and without the hanger-on-erers. (Fifty of the UN’s members would be too small to qualify).  At best, the WEF is the ultimate corporate conference club, and at worst, a kind of quasi corporate world government. The truth is somewhere in between, but where?

The WEF elites fly in to Davos in late January every year in private jets while they figure out how to save the world from fossil fuels. In their spare time they probably swap names of pliable politicians, or even meet them. They can also find out the names of great accountants, and swap ideas on how to deal with unacceptable citizens.

JP Sears is on fire in this video:

brought to you by Primal life Teeth Whiteners*

I wonder if Klaus hired Professor Yuval Noah Harari to speak at Davos 2020, so everyone that quoted him could be called a conspiracy theorist nutcase? It could work.

It’s hard to say these lines without sounding like a Technocratic-psycho:

“This whole idea of humans have this soul or spirit and nobody knows what’s happening inside them, and they have free will, that’s over.”

Data might allow human elites to do something even more radical than just build digital dictatorships, by hacking organisms elites may gain the power to reengineer the future of life itself.

People could look back in a hundred years and identify the coronavirus epidemic as the moment when a new regime of surveillance took over…

If we succeed in hacking life, this will be the greatest revolution in biology, since the very beginning of life.

Soon, at least some corporations and governments will be able to systematically hack all the people. My brain, my body, my life, does it belong to me or to some corporation or to the government….

This is the intelligent design of the IBM Cloud the Microsoft cloud.

 — Professor Yuval Noah Harari

He’s like the decoy Fake Time Magazine cover used to hide the real Time Magazine cover.

The gloss is coming off

The WEF is tax-exempt, which is a pretty rich wicket, and the Swiss government taxpayers pay for security at Davos, which is worth about 32 million Swiss francs a year. On top of that the taxpayers pay another few million for “extra security”.  But the free run is feeling some friction. Last year a few Swiss politicians and civil society groups criticized the security bill, and the Swiss government announced they’d cut it back by a million or so each year. Go, democracy, Go.

It’s a sign that the people are starting to notice the WEF and there may come a day when politicians don’t want to mention their WEF membership. Who wants to look like a patsy?

My favourite description of the WEF is that they are globalization’s “Mafiocracy” of bankers, industrialists, oligarchs, technocrats and politicians.

“They promote common ideas, and serve common interests: their own.”

The Transnational Institute

There is some limit to WEF power, but what is it?

It would be very useful in comments if commenters can talk about what the limits are. When do the WEF get thwarted? The WEF is obviously a hot and influential club, like a radioactive octopus, but Klaus Schwab presumably brags like any shameless compulsive promoter would. So some of the politicians in his fold may be in a cult, but others just spent a weekend skiiing.

It looks like nothing more than a business conference and there are tens of thousands of those a year. I attended the COMDEX conference in Las Vegas in the 1980s and it attracted 250,000 management level people at a time when Las Vegas had only that population.

This WTF conference is for the biggest businesses which really have a lot in common. I doubt most of the attendees would be able to ski but business conference are always in safe, rich and attractive locations like Las Vegas (for which it is the main industry), Monte Carlo, Miami, Hawaii. Whole cities like Melbourne are setup to host such conferences as a main industry. Engineer Klaus Schwab just got lucky with his little conference.

However given the fact that some of these companies are bigger than countries in turnover and sometimes in population, it is a very significant conference and a badge of honour to be invited. But it is a big jump to picture it as an international conspiracy any more than the massive globe trotting Formula 1 circus owned by Billionaire Bernie Ecclestone whose background is used car salesman. He gets paid tens of millions just to bring the circus to your town. Countries and cities fight for the right to host a car race.

And big businesses have a lot in common in dealing with politicians, taxes, highly variable government policies and even doing business in some countries so it pays to catch up with others battling the same Bidens and Johnsons and Morrisons. It is a big jump to see this as an international conspiracy of the elites against the people. It is more likely the elites vs the politicians. And rich and important people are just as star struck by other rich and important people and being invited to the right parties.

If there was a huge conference which is based on an entirely evil premise, a conspiracy and all about money and international control and a new world order, I would pick the COP26 conference. There is no science in man made Global Warming, but at $1,500 Billion a year, this fake science is biggest business and political and conspiracy fraud in history. What’s more, everyone knows it except perhaps Grumpy Greta.

The war in Ukraine is blowing up the idea that we can all get by on alfalfa spouts and Green energy. People need Ukranian wheat and Russian gas and Iranian and Venezuelan oil. And the games played by politicians are being exposed. Along with the gain of function research kept secret in poor countries where life is cheap.

Putin is a graduand of the WEF young leaders school… but he might be clever enough to learn strategy to warp and apply his own ingenuity. Sun Tzu “Know thy enemy”.
WEF promoting “Lockstep” is the big “tell”- how hundreds of countries adopt the same ‘vid strategy which happens to be devastating.
The 3rd ring of the circus is the economic collapse/ debt Jubilee/ you will rent everything and smile to keep social credit in the black.
WEF have clearly telegraphed all of this for many years- there is no-one stopping them, and between Vanguard/Black rock they have the logistics and finance to blatantly re engineer the world

The WEF is not a conspiracy because they are fairly open about who they are and what they want to do. The plan is essentially to promote liberal democracy in which there is no real choice between parties and they run the world behind the scenes. The important questions are what is their vision and is it good? Where it is bad, is this by design or by screw-up?

They do not have Islam on side (although Saudi Arabia is locked into a deal whereby it sells its oil in return for US dollars and the US guarantees its security). They also do not have China on side. And, as of the last two weeks at least, probably not Russia. They do, of course, seek to further their cause when world events that they do not expect happen. And there are such events, you can be sure; if they really ran the whole world then they’d do it openly, because the powerful love to show off.

Liberal democracy is a failure – at least in its present form. People conflate freedom and rule of law with a functioning democracy: wrong. Some like big government and I know quite a few who have told me; an extension of the tribe with its chief or warleader who will protect them. Most people are simple and don’t have the nous or awareness to survive without protection from their leaders.

The WEF is not a conspiracy because they are fairly open about who they are and what they want to do.

In 1928, the leading British Round Table strategist, H.G. Wells, wrote The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution. The Open Conspiracy a recipe for how to establish a world government that would, over time, perhaps even over generations, recruit individuals and set up institutions to create a world “directorate” to run a “new world order.”
Wells has one essential enemy that the Open Conspiracy must destroy: that is, the sovereign nation-state.
End the nation-state forever, replacing it with a world government run by the “Atlantic” elite

at the WEF there are individuals, and organisations with more wealth and influence than most nations. To ask what the limit of their power is therefore a question of what their goals are. Certainly if you look at the strange western response to the situation in ukraine you can see the application of their power. Whatever it might be it is certainly good for business

“with more wealth and influence than most nations.”

And their activities are design purely to increase that wealth and power.

Its their whole agenda, as they state themselves.

No conspiracy theories needed from you.

Most of them got wealth and influence from their positions in government.

Some of them in organizations closely connected to government and/or depending on subsidies from government.

I believe it was Mao who said that all power ultimately comes out of the barrel of a gun.

There lies the weakness of bankers and economists. Governments with a monopoly on power and violence can always trump business by nationalising the business and killing or confining the owners. One of Hitler’s ministers is alleged to have stated that they didn’t care who “owned” industries…. they would do as they were told.

Here is the thing about money. Money is only a means to an end. It is a tool, but not the only tool. We see this clearly every time some Dictator does things that do not maximise his national or personal wealth, but maximise his power. Dictators like the Kims are not interested in being relatively small frogs in a huge economic swamp. Their priority is being the biggest frog in their particular puddle.

The Chinese have shown that they are only willing to compromise the power of the CCP to a very limited extend to make China more prosperous. Putin could make Russia more prosperous by being a better trading partner, but he’d rather be Czar of a rebuilt Russian Empire

It’s about power, and money is not the ultimate road to that goal.

Stalin allegedly asked, “How many Divisions has the Pope”, in a classic display of the difference between having material power and not having it.

Material power is having what it takes, to take what they have.
That is the relationship between government and business.

A gentleman named Tom Luongo has a theory that Klaus Schwab and the WEF do indeed want to subdue the world, but they face a significant obstacle: Wall Street Bankers. The WEF wants to bypass commercial banks and introduce digital currency based in central banks, such as the Fed in the U.S., etc. However, this means such entities as Chase Bank would be left out in the cold, and Luongo cannot see them accepting this. “Can you see the Wall Street bankers turning everything over to a German eugenicist?” he asks (I paraphrase). The original discussion is here:

The notion of a quasi world government is not new of course. I recall the League of Rights in Australia (now defunct) and recall a chap called Butler having a chat in a Gilgandra pub many years ago. God fearing anti communist who appealed to the sons of the soil, he warned of the erosion of the nation state by the UN and the world monetary system controlled by international Jewry. Solid stuff. Time to bring back the soap box.

There is some limit to WEF power, but what is it?

As I’ve said before, the WEF is NOT the real power here but that doesn’t matter.
The “limit” is 2 fold – public compliance and historical reality.
    1. When the people have “had enough” and revolution ends the totalitarianism.
    2. Every single attempt at communist structures throughout history has failed because they suppress the creativity, innovations, curiosity & passion inherent to capitalism and therefore a functioning, dynamic and evolving society rather than a stagnant socially arrested one (think UBI).

The crash & burn phase is coming up fast but as always a new society shall rise from the ashes, and then become corrupt and greedy and power crazed and the cycle repeats because that’s human nature…

“I wonder if Klaus hired Professor Yuval Noah Harari to speak at Davos 2020, so everyone that quoted him could be called a conspiracy theorist nutcase?”

Another strategy is that knowing the level of lethargy and ignorance of the general population and that the serfs are therefore unlikely to raise too much opposition when the noose tightens in the (few) years ahead “they” can point back to excerpts such as this and say how “they” told us right up front what they were going to do and silence is compliance so don’t come moaning now its finally here.

Of course everyone knows the basis of this is just plain evil and as others have noted above greed, pride and lust are elements that lend themselves to that evil. Lucifer/Satan/The morning star was cast out of Heaven because he became consumed with pride and pride’s handmaidens are narcissism and arrogance. Just like Lucifer Schwab/WEF/Harari are driven to tell the world how great they are and how all should bow down to them in awe of their greatness and brilliance. However in order to get that adulation from the stupid serfs they have to first tell us not just to inform but to also appease their narcissism.

The world is in the grip of spiritual warfare and the beauty of this is that the more WEF/Schwab do the more they kick start a revival.

Klauss Schwab’s original thesis was that Lassaiz faire capitalism is harmful to society as a whole (Despite the evidence from the US) and that societal needs could be better met through Stakeholder capitalism, as opposed to the Shareholder capitalism praised by Nobel prize winning economist Milton Friedman. According to Friedman, the role of a company, should be to make money for its shareholders. Adam Smith’s invisible hand would see to the rest (A company that did not value its customers, staff, or the ethics of its supply chain would end up losing competetively to those that cater to the wishes of its customers, and therefore by focussing on shareholder returns, companies improve society).
Schwab by contrast, proposes that companies should seek to benefit all their stakeholders, not just the company owners, in order to improve the Greater Good. This of course raises the question, who defines the greater good? that would be the WEF.

Unfortunately, this quasi Marxist idea, that company directors should use company resources for activist purposes instead of enriching their owners, is now entrenched in Australian institutions. It is actively taught to new company directors training at the AICD. It’s why our big 4 banks have signed up to the UN Net Zero Banking Alliance to dictate to their customers what business they are allowed to undertake.

It’s the typical danger of altruism. A non democratic approach to greater societal good, as defined only by certain approved members of that society.

“Anyone that thinks the WEF is not a “for profit” organisation, isn’t paying any attention.”

        The WEF specifically states:

“We are the international institution for public private cooperation. We connect communities of leaders around global issues through high-level meetings, research, initiatives and digital networks. We are non-profit, impartial and independent.”

“The WEF is funded by its own membership, which includes industry leaders as well as individuals from all walks of life, including celebrities, journalists, and interested individuals willing to pay annual dues and meeting fees to attend.”

Perhaps those that think it is a profit making organisation are not paying attention.

As soon as you provide at least some evidence to support your argument I will of course pay attention but without anything to substantiate your argument it is just pure speculation

Here’s a link to an article that does substantiates the WEF clam that the WEF is non profit making,

            https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/01/who-pays-for-davos/

            It begins

“The World Economic Forum is an International Institute under Swiss law, a not-for-profit, politically neutral organization. It’s mission is “committed to improve the state of the world”.

A large majority of its funding is provided by the world’s most significant business entities, who join the Forum as members and partners in order to participate in our activities. The Forum offers different levels of membership and partnership, tailored to the level of engagement that meets the strategic needs of our members and partners.

Membership and partnership fees range from CHF60,000 to CHF600,000 depending on the level of engagement. Most types of membership include the opportunity to participate in the Annual Meeting for the CEO of the company, although Davos participation incurs a fee over and above membership or partnership fees.”

Look around where you sit right now. Find something that did not require energy to create for your use.

I tried and failed,,,, as I sit in my garage.

I did see a Palmetto Bug (Godzilla size roach) come in the door area, but it was just coming to raid a food source (my garbage can) which was filled with energy produced residual products (beer cans) for consumption on their menu. Essentially, the bug is a product of such, in the end too.

My point,,,, inflation has deep roots and it begins with rising energy costs. The rest are compounding dominoes.

Any elected leader or indeed government bureaucrat, recognized as an acolyte of Klaus Schwab’s “teachings” should have their loyalty to their nation scrutinised. A “Great Reset” requires the usurping of existing social structures, including the Rule of Laws (which has fallen into disregard by acolytes in positions of power). To undermine one’s nation and to be treacherous towards the people to whom one owes their loyalty and indeed livelihood is IMHO treasonous.

Alas it seems that, once again, ethics and loyalty are qualities for us to observe; not them.

“Today, in light of the sanctions being imposed on Russia and the huge reduction of grain supplies, we can understand Bill Gates’ enormous investments in agriculture (here), following the same ruthless profit-making logic already experienced with the vaccine campaign.

The Ukrainian people, regardless of what ethnic group they may belong to, are merely the latest unwitting hostages of the supranational totalitarian regime that brought the national economies of the entire world to their knees through the Covid deception, after publicly theorizing about the need to decimate the world population, and transform the survivors into chronically ill patients, who have irreparably compromised their immune systems.”
