US Defence sent money to Wuhan lab to counter “Weapons of Mass Destruction” and helped create one?

What does the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) do? Fund research into deadly viruses that may leak.

How’s that Threat Reduction working out?

The US military was more closely involved than they let on. What kind of crazy pays adversaries to research deadly weapons?

Grants from the Pentagon included $6,491,025 from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) from 2017 to 2020 with the description: ‘Understanding the risk of bat-borne zoonotic disease emergence in Western Asia.’

The Grants were going to a group called EcoHealth Alliance which got $123 million in total from the US Government from 2013 – 2020. Indeed it got as much as 90% of its money from the US government. It’s almost a government department, but without the accountability.  It funneled some of that $123m to the Wuhan lab. The man running Eco Health — Dr Peter Daszak was the one who helped whip up the Lancet paper saying Covid was absolutely definitely natural —  about four weeks after most people first heard of the virus. The useless World Health Organisation then invited Daszak to come along on the “investigation into the origin of Covid” in China. Bravo U.N..  Daszak went on to thank Fauci in emails for supporting the “natural origin theory”. One nice friendly circle.

The US Defence Department has fingers on this from several angles.

Great work from The Daily Mail team:

The Pentagon gave $39 MILLION to Dr. Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance – the charity that funded coronavirus research at the Wuhan lab accused of being the source of the outbreak, federal data reveals

The Daily Mail

      • Federal data seen by DailyMail.com reveals The Pentagon gave $39 million to EcoHealth Alliance, which funded a lab in Wuhan, China, between 2013 and 2020
      • The Wuhan Institute of Virology is accused of being the source of Covid-19
      • The majority of the DoD funding came from the DTRA, a military branch with a mission to ‘counter and deter weapons of mass destruction and improvised threat networks’
      • Federal grant data assembled by independent researchers shows that the charity has received more than $123 million from the government in total
      • EHA also received $64.7 million from the US Agency for International Development (USAID)
      • EHA has also funded deeply controversial ‘gain of function’ experiments, where dangerous viruses are made more infectious to study their effect on human cells

The Deep State is far too deep:

In 2014 the Obama administration outlawed gain of function research, such as the experiments funded by EHA, after concerns were raised among scientists that it could lead to a global pandemic from a genetically enhanced virus escaping a lab.

But EHA reportedly continued to legally fund the practice, using a loophole that allowed for the research in cases ‘urgently necessary to protect the public health or national security.’

Is this the Greatest Own Goal Ever Scored?

Aloha! How is this a “charity”?

The Pentagon gave $39 MILLION to Dr. Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance the charity that funded coronavirus research at the Wuhan lab accused of being the source of the outbreak, federal data reveals.

How does it get charitable status? I would want that investigated. So many criminal complaints. Remember the tobacco class action lawsuit in the USA? Lets do a global class action action against the scientists and governments and media along with the WHO and UN who were harboring this criminal enterprise. The “discovery” would be world class like the OJ Trial!

It could be a policy of China to send any US created viruses in China back to the USA.

There appears to be a euthanasia agenda (kill the sick) supported by Democrats in the US. Mass murder has gone woke.

Cuomo and Whitmer’s actions demonstrate your statement to be true.

But Dr. Rachel Levine (you know, that guy looking girl doctor) removed her/his mother out of nursing homes while allowing everybody else’s parents to remain there to get covid19.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Meanwhile the world’s elite, aka spoiled children, want One World Government, as they try to wipe out half the worlds population via eugenics and euthanasia.

It is ALWAYS ok to impose your will on someone else as long as you are free to do whatever you want via government edict.

What do “our leaders” do? Agree to a minimum tax rate. Who benefits? Government. China cannot believe how stupid the west has become.

Instead of calling it the Chyna Virus, perhaps President Trump should have been calling it the “American Virus”. If true, it looks very much like an own goal, that neither Obama or Trump could prevent.

You’d have to wonder how much say the much-demonised Dr Fauci really had in all this.

“All pretzel minds reroute to Trump.”

And in this instance quite rightly so too. The article does not mention that in 2014 Obama put the blockers on funding for gain-of function experiments and that the block was removed by Trump in 2017. As a result EHA received more than $123 million from the government from 2017 to 2020. If it does turn out that this virus is the result of gain-of -function manipulations Trump not Obama or Biden is to blame

so, i guess in your view the block did its job, and the loophole was never used.. maybe. but it was obama for some strange reason that lifted the moratorium just 11 days before trump took office. strange eh!

          https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/blog/2017/01/09/recommended-policy-guidance-potential-pandemic-pathogen-care-and-oversight

          from that document-

“Adoption of these recommendations will satisfy the requirements for lifting the current moratorium on certain life sciences research that could enhance a pathogen’s virulence and/or transmissibility to produce a potential pandemic pathogen (an enhanced PPP).”

Perhaps you should have read a little further or a little more widely

“On 9 January 2017, the HHS published the “Recommended Policy Guidance for Departmental Development of Review Mechanisms for Potential Pandemic Pathogen Care and Oversight” (P3CO).[4] This report sets out how “pandemic potential pathogens” should be regulated, funded, stored, and researched so as to minimize threats to public health and safety.

Perhaps you did not notice or chose not to mention that the document dated 9 january 2017 was only a Recommendation.

The moratorium was not lifted until December 19 2017 after Trump had been president for nearly a year

            https://www.nih.gov/about-nih/who-we-are/nih-director/statements/nih-lifts-funding-pause-gain-function-research

On 19 December 2017, the NIH lifted the aforementioned moratorium because it was deemed “important in helping us identify, understand, and develop strategies and effective countermeasures against rapidly evolving pathogens that pose a threat to public health.”[71]

Trump in fact renewed the funding in July 2019. And there would have been no complaint from the political Right as the Republicans were scared to death of Trump’s vindictiveness.

That’s a fascinating link. Signed off at the bottom by:

              Francis S. Collins, M.D., Ph.D.
              Director, National Institutes of Health

Same guy, just recently claimed categorically (and as it turns out, falsely) that the USA never funded gain of function research in Wuhan.

              https://hughhewitt.com/nih-director-francis-collins-on-gain-of-function-research-at-nih-and-wuhan-lab/

That’s downright weird when you think that the money pathway via Ecohealth Alliance is not even particularly indirect and this was the NIH Director, at front and center since Obama appointed him back in 2009.

I did read the whole thing, and what i gathered from it was that obama asked the bureaucracy to look at itself, and to enact a moratorium while it did, and from that point on there was little to no input from presidents. that document was their findings. if either obama, trump or biden were to say anything about this, it would have been taken as anti-science, making a stand against the experts etc. it was taken out of the realm of politics after being put in it by obama. good or bad? who knows.

any bureaucracy, left leaning or right will attempt to regain power it loses from things like presidential orders etc, and this was no different. you can call them recommendations, but with a hostile bureaucracy and media it is the same as policy. read it again, and it is clear that this is the bureaucracy telling whoever is in power that this is the way it is, not the way it should be.

the pretzel comment was a correct one, all roads lead to trump is just nonsense. every time you see a trump attack piece, you know it will be full of holes, and the conspiratorial minds of the left will constantly bypass facts to come to the same conclusion that trump is somehow involved, and in a negative way. i guess if you have enough loops in pretzels, they become crackers!

No-one said “all roads” lead to Trump – that is an absurd strawman.

What is also absurd is trying to pin the US-funded lab-leak (if that is what happened, with or without GoF research) on some string including Obama, Fauci, Collins, and the bureaucracy generally, and erasing from the picture the role of the Trump Admin from 20 Jan 2017 to 20 Jan 2020, when the pandemic was launching.

Perhaps you could then reconcile why Trump continued funding EHA and the Wuhan research for three whole years? Pretzels indeed.

Dr Fauci was conducting this research on US soil when Obama outlawed it. He then moved his research offshore. I’d say he had 100% control over how much say he had in it.

He even stated one month before the virus was released (either purposefully or accidently) that Trump would be hit by a pandemic of coronavirus.

I think there is almost zero chance Fauci acted alone without direction. Clearly he is a tool of the deep state, in love ( according to letters he wrote) with HRC. He was following directions.

It is very possible that there was internal resistance to GOF research, ( we actually know there was) and so outlawing it was diplomatically required, and they immediately did a run around the law.
“They” being Obama, and the statists looking to take down President Trump and national independent power. Was it all planned? Don’t know. If not it is an amazing example of “ never letting a crisis go to waste”. And there is evidence of thoughtful planning, and democide. We know from history that humans are capable of such evil actions.

It was all fauchi and his fellow swamp minions; they knew from the beginning what this was; and if they had fessed up and told everyone what it was I believe millions would have been saved and Trump would still be POTUS, crooked election not withstanding. But fauchi lies, protected his own bum, allowed 9 new billionaires to be created from some vaccines. Cuomo has thousands of deaths on his hands, fauci has millions. They both should be in prison instead they wrote books. Incidentally one only has to check wiki to see what was going on at the Wuhan lab:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wuhan_Institute_of_Virology

In 2015, an international team including two scientists from the institute published successful research on whether a bat coronavirus could be made to infect HeLa. The team engineered a hybrid virus, combining a bat coronavirus with a SARS virus that had been adapted to grow in mice and mimic human disease. The hybrid virus was able to infect human cells.[11][14]

Cohenite you are right, none of this has been hidden, most things that people get called conspiracy theorists over are all available as public knowledge on official websites. When folks talk about Agenda 21 other folks think they are nuts, but it has been official UN policy since 1992, now 2030, and the Great Global Reset is hardly a nutters theory – it is open. The pandemic = plandemic we have been told about by Fauci himself and it is in the scientific journals. Biden told us about his Electoral fraud organisation before the elections. Only those who cant read or google search can have had the globalist agenda hidden from them.

More a case of mad scientists ignoring any ethical basis for research directions. Of course they should have funded a lab in China! Got to keep unethical research at arms length for deniability. And does it really matter if a virus leaks from a lab in a foreign country? It won’t affect the US, right?

Way back, early in the public life of the Pandemic, this information was raised and then was allowed to quietly fall back into obscurity.

Now that it’s been resurrected we might ask what has happened to allow it back.

Sure is cheap, especially when you are given billions of taxpayer dollars to create the gene therapy vaccine, are not required to fully complete all human trials, then given an emergency use authorization versus FDA approval to collect payment, and to boot an immunity pass from lawsuits for any harm done to unsuspecting injection recipients.

Not cheap for the taxpayers, but really cheap for all the new billionaires in the Pharmacy business and their buddies looking for a handout to push the vaccine only narrative. Still can’t get Ivermectin in the states without moving a mountain. I bet Big Pharna can’t wait for the required booster shots, and then a new mRNA gene therapy for a mutated strain versus just allowing Ivermectin early treatment.

Delusions about Who and China acting for the greater good led to bad choices throughout our government, justified at the time by noble pursuits while being called out by those who could see the harm that would result, intended or not. Now that the detractors are being proven more and more right every day, the coverup goes into overdrive and it will be this coverup that gets them in the end.

There is always a swamp; the church, nobility, bureaucracy, political insiders, security, educational system K-20+, …, always composed of insiders who abuse or cheat outsiders.

The task at hand is not to drain the swamp but always to force its corruption into being too small to bother with. Trump was the agent of positive change in this regard, but the Republicans, as is their habit were too busy fighting with him to help, and the general public too lazy and ignorant to do much but vote. Well, we learned the truth of Mark Twain’s quip that if voting were important, then they wouldn’t let us do it. I think the general public are now alerted and will begin to take back government starting at the local level.

Just witnessed two of the worst contenders for the US presidential election (that low down the ladder one had fallen off the bottom) get installed into the highest offices in the land. You think that cannot happen here. Look into the CCP company running the QLD and Vic election software, from China, only one politician questioned this in QLD, One, that speaks volumes about the standard of opposition in QLD. Election is theater for the masses, part of the bread and circuses.

Your “lefties” want nothing more than you to sit on your hands and do nothing, that’s the sort of logic they like.

Blaming everyone else for something you are just as guilty of doing. Being “woke” and doing nothing is worse than what you accuse others of doing. Banging on, on a blog, complaining about others, while doing nothing yourself is no better.

I have no idea how to hold ecohealth alliance, or several U.S. Government agencies accountable, especially as the totalitarians in the tech media, and the mediocre minds in the old media work furiously to avoid anyone mentioning these problems. The extent to which all parties, including the U.S. Democratic party, have colluded to avoid the general population learning about this issue is simply sickening. However, COVID-19 has shown us in stark terms that letting all of these idiots continue may represent a civilizational threat.

I read 90 pages of the total 140 in this document yesterday, which took me through the bulk of the strong evidence. It is a great piece of work, and even if Nicholas Wade’s article didn’t convince a person about the lab origin, then this should finish that task. The article you reference was published on Feb 10, 2020 which is before Quay’s work. It also occurred at the time of maximum effort to distract attention from WIV. It is in reference to the work of a different researcher. Quays work contains none of the keywords in your post or in the article you reference. It contains no reference to the sequence name nor to pShuttle-SN. Quay looked at about two dozen pieces of evidence, of which you mention none at all. What you reference may be out of date, but seems to me to be mainly a distraction.

I didn’t even bother going into what he calls “Bayesian”. There was no analysis methods in the whole thing- all those percentages just appeared without any statistical error or confidences. It looks like he made up probabilities and multiplied them together.

Yes – I’ve been thinking about this too.

Who has the biggest incentive (the most to gain) by running hard on the lab-funding then lab-leak “truth”? Donald Trump is in a difficult position … if he really didn’t know about NIH-Pentagon funding prior to Jan 2020, there is a strong argument his Admin should have. Similar questions arise for Dr Fauci – how much was he responsible for continued funding of EcoHealth for some years, and when did he really know that the lab-leak theory was not conspiracy nuttery, and maybe the most likely?

And of course it was all in the context of a tight federal election … it’s quite reasonable to believe that Trump’s handling of the pandemic (basically down-playing it rather than going on a war footing) cost him his re-election.

The American Government is in a really difficult position – if it’s actually demonstrated they have facilitated a world-wide pandemic. It’s quite easy for lots of people to draw a conclusion that without ongoing US funding, there would have been no lab-leak and no pandemic. Trump demanding that China pay the world $10 trillion in “reparations” is starting to sound a little hollow.

So people need to realize as PeterS says, that its humanity vs the globalists.

The other stark ugly but if info that makes people squirm us that it appears there was funding from places like the US to fund the Na*ies, and in many cases make money from both sides in the last world war. This demonstrates a complete lack of ethical behaviour, but also assuming such activity continues, a willingness by same powerful families to exploit all humanity fir thier own profit. Lets assume they also own govts, the UN and biotech companies and what do you have?

It appears not only are tame govts happy to get you jabbed with a profit maker, but hey, if a billion die…yeah ..well so what….

Its evil however you want to spin it.Good people fight and die in thier wars created often for profit, but their propaganda makes it sound “honourable” etc etc.

In that sort of environment is it any wonder we get the governments we have? As usual people do eventually react but not until there is a lot of pain. Most people are not in pain at the moment. Bayesian filters don’t create data. They create an analysis which the objective process owner then needs to evaluate interactively to train the filter. I use two of them daily and they are frequently wrong even with 15 years of training them. Because they are very dependant upon the objectivity of the process owner I’m not interested in the bayes method output so much as what was used to train it.

The Peter Daszak et al letter to the Lancet was used by all to condemn (as conspiracy nuts) all who believed it was a leak from the Wuhan Lab. It stated that none of the authors had any pecuniary interests in the facts. Ho Ho Ho… I did mention at the time that I wondered how someone had got five top virologists together so quickly, from all over the world , to make such a categorical statement. Now we all know. And one of the authors has asked to have their name removed from the letter. But , is it in the MSM, apart from Fox media, which we are all told is how Mr Murdoch controls the world ??? Shame about the Lancet , which is now run by a senior editor who has published editorials attempting to recruit young (and naive) doctors to Climate Rebellion, and , of course, THE fraudulent study on hydroxychloroquine, which stopped further research on an excellent early treatment and prophyllaxis for Covid 19. The Lancet, and the NYT, have definitely moved with the Times.

There might be a few things we agree on … I have no problem with Peter Daszak being wealthy, but seems like most of his money was extracted from the US taxpayer and yes he should be scrutinized very closely for his part in both funding gain of function and then covering up the details of what was happening in the Wuhan Lab. He clearly did have “pecuniary interests” and he lights up all the danger flags:

        * Environmentalist loon.

The Governor was part of the Enlightenment, but the new colony was starving and greatly outnumbered on the other side of the world. Your first chore is to prove that the disease came with the first settlers. My understanding, based on an unpublished paper I read many years ago, is that it could not travel the distance in that time. The smallpox outbreak was thus attributable to the existing trade routes, probably beginning on the shores of the Gulf of Carpentaria, having come there from the Asian mainland.

They had temporarily laid down their weapons , and invited all the other tribes around for the Big Barbie equivalent, but the whities had not been invited to the party…. And that our Governor ,knowing he did not have an invite, ordered that no retaliation be taken by his armed escort, and ordered them to row him back to circular quay. I think Fauci will become the fall guy. Fauci is an advocate for Gain of Function Research.

Gain of function research is making deadly viruses more deadly and contagious…. Using lab animals who have been genetically modified to enable them to replicate human cell response and immune system response. This is required to enable ‘researchers’ to make virus that do not exist in nature… And to teach those viruses that do not exist in nature how to defeat the human immune system.

Evolution takes time. Covid skipped the evolution part where if it was natural it would have circulated in a less deadly form in the general human population (Like the Spanish flu). Covid has designed in a lab and using a super computer and virus emulation/human immune system software. Covid is a state of the art sneaky virus.

Covid has made using Gain of Function Research techniques.

What are the 10 most impossible things for that the Natural Theory of Origin of Covid to explain? Is there any physical evidence that covid is natural? Any?

Covid is so super contagious, it would be impossible to hide its super contagious earlier form. What was the nature source for the covid spike molecule? And when did the spike protein form with the over covid part viruses? And all of the covid virus parts had to join to become covid…. The most transmittable and most highly novel feature virus known to ‘science’

When did that happen? The alternative and only physically possible alternative is that covid has designed in a lab by a smart group of people. Covid is over the top highly effective.

Newly emerging viruses are not highly infectious because they have not circulated in the human population.

Covid was super contagious from day 1. And covid become exponentially more infectious with time. Covid look like it was designed and it performed exactly as designed.

Physical viruses can only gain their ability to defeat the human immune system by circulating through the human population.

New deadly viruses like Ebola do not have the smart evolved chemical machinery that defeats the general human immune response and the ability to replicate in the human body super effectively like covid.

It is physically impossible for covid to have formed, naturally, from different virus parts and including the spike protein …….. With a poof of smoke and a lightening bolt from a God in the Sky.

The covid spike molecule which has never been seen circulating in nature…. ….gives covid the novel feature of being able to pass through the blood brain barrier to enable covid to cause brain damage.

There is other hard evidence that covid is manmade. It appears the Covid Virus code has an exact piece of code from the HIV virus.

Covid has a virus library set of features. The viruses selected give covid it deadly features.

    https://www.gilmorehealth.com/chinese-coronavirus-is-a-man-made-virus-according-to-luc-montagnier-the-man-who-discovered-hiv/
“With my colleague, bio-mathematician Jean-Claude Perez, we carefully analyzed the description of the genome of this RNA virus,” explains Luc Montagnier, interviewed by Dr. Jean-François Lemoine for the daily podcast at Pourquoi Docteur, adding that others have already explored this avenue:

Indian researchers have already tried to publish the results of the analyses that showed that this coronavirus genome contained sequences of another virus, … the HIV virus (AIDS virus), but they were forced to withdraw their findings as the pressure from the mainstream was too great.

…No, “says Luc Montagnier,” in order to insert an HIV sequence into this genome, molecular tools are needed, and that can only be done in a laboratory.”

Nobel prize winner Prof Montagnier says that to insert HIV sequences “can only be done in a lab”:

I still don’t understand WHY any nation would want to produce virus that are more deadly and more contagious – within the realm of medical research of course … I’m not meaning bioweapons. Do you produce more deadly and more contagious strains just so you can develop vaccines against them? Is that the point?

So Donald Trump was giving the CCP ( and China) a really hard time. Implementing tariff wars, writing nasty tweets about them etc. No doubt some of those trade policies were starting to perhaps bit hard on the Chinese economy back in early 2019. Brains trust in the CCP ask for some suggestions as to how China can fight back. There’s a bloke down the back of the room with glasses and a lab coat on and he puts his hand up. “Dear leader I have the perfect solution. Down at the WIV we have basically a flu virus with some added functions. Given some lead time we could strategically release the virus allowing it to infect the US and all major western countries. The good news is to protect ourselves we already have a vaccine developed which we can use to compulsory jab our citizens. Then even better news- the US helped fund this virus and OUR vaccine at the same time. Hence, when the poo poo hits the fan we can blame the US. Lets pick Wuhan as the release city. Lets fake up some media with dead bodies in the street and instant hospitals etc and get our army of social media bots to broadcast it. Put out some junk science regarding the origins of the virus which will slow down the western science community. Lets implement anti pandemic measures which are totally opposite to the present WHO guidelines. So all the non pharmaceutical measures. Let’s lockdown the citizens, make them all wear face masks, close schools, restrict travel and maybe try that social distance thingy. You know the one that’s never really ever been proven. If we do it with all the fake publicity no doubt all the Western nations will just slavishly copy us. We already have the WHO in our back pocket, they wont do anything. Let it run in our country for a while then close everything down momentarily with mass vaccinations or other measures. Show smoke from funeral pyres. In Wuhan there’s a couple hundred deaths per day anyway, no-one will notice the difference. We rebound our economy quickly while most of the western world, particularly the US have stalled. Take at least 9 moths to get it up and running. Whatcha reckon , good idea?”

By the time he realises he’s been conned, the pandemic is up to his armpits and it’ll be way too late … he’ll lose re-election, and it’s likely Hunter’s dad – you remember Hunter, from that BIG weekend in Macau? – Hunter’s dad will be the new prez, so we get a twofer.”

    Classic Globalism.
Is this not how “outsourcing” was supposed to work?

The “brilliant ” design work is done in the West and the lowly production carried out in the East,by the lowest possible bidder…

Which might explain the utter panic and over the top knee jerk reaction of our bureaucrats with respect to the Dread Covid.

    Let us speculate.
Assume the virus was designed by our “experts”,its characteristics built to our specification and the design computer models all agree..”Its a beauty, guaranteed to kill off the Old,The infirm and spread beautifully from person to person..

The Computer Models Predict MASS DEATH..This is important,as we all know how “The Science” depends on GIGO for our fearless Leaders..
    Garbage IN Gospel Out.

Now the prototype run went off the rails in China..
The poor virus is now being built to Western Government Spec by Chinese Government Contractors,in a Laboratory Designed by the French and abandoned by them when the Chinese Government Contractors were 2 years beyond completion date..
So the prototype is a wet squib of what the design called for..

    And then it gets out.
Very likely due to poor waste water handling(Building sewage going straight into city drains?) or Lab Security/hygiene levels run at “Good Enough for Government”.
Either is possible, especially in a Lab built with contractors cutting corners to complete the job and then being used to carry out paid experiments on behalf of Western Agencies..

    Too Crazy?
    Or all too likely?

Because from the beginning, our government response has been hysterical, their terror toward the Dread Covid has defied all the evidence to date..
They abandoned their very own “Pandemic Response Plan, untried.
And went straight to Mass Hysteria.

Is this due to it being their own design, for which they “knew” how potent it would be,cause the Godly Computer Programme said so?

And even in the face of the evidence, the madness continues..
Almost as if they cannot believe the real world shows their Computer Models to be incorrect.
The Dread Covid is going to kill us all, none can be immune,it is the worst ever..Because Our Computer Models Say So,The Design was perfect!.
“There is no way those off the shelf drugs can work,we designed it to be resistant”..

Fire them all is far too merciful an approach to idiots who thought “Gain of Function Research” is a great was to spend tax payers money.
And I have no capacity to forgive idiots who were oath sworn to defend and protect the rights, freedoms and decencies that make civilization possible.

People are scared into taking the vaccine but are not yet scared about the host of other things our governments are doing to the detriment of our nation, such as reducing our emissions for some fake threat. Wait until things go pear shaped then watch people get angry as they start feeling the pain. At the moment we still have a very comfortable existence compared to most of the world’s population.

Your ‘Monkey with a Computer’ has in my opinion nailed the reason effective therapy is being denied by the Vaccine promoters.

The issue of an Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA.

Under section 564 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act), when the Secretary of HHS declares that an emergency use authorization is appropriate, FDA may authorize unapproved medical products or unapproved uses of approved medical products to be used in an emergency to diagnose, treat, or prevent serious or life-threatening diseases or conditions caused by CBRN threat agents when certain criteria are met, including there are no adequate, approved, and available alternatives.

Probably similar in Australia where our states require Emergency declarations to use a therapy that is only approved for emergency use by the TGA. Hence the shutdowns to justify these declarations

Here is a short 54 sec comment from Dr Dev Zelenko on the topic.

    https://youtu.be/Zqd4cDF5pHM

He was an early pioneer of HCQ treatment according to protocols he established. He was an advisor to President Trump and it was on his advice that the President promoted HCQ as an early stage treatment option in accordance with the Zelenko Protocols:

    https://faculty.utrgv.edu/eleftherios.gkioulekas/zelenko/index.html

Millions have died unnecessarily because the Left censored this approach when there wasn’t even the “vaccine” available. It was censored just so the Left could deny Trump having helped people with this treatment or prophylaxis option (even made illegal in Australia). Of course, the millions killed by the National Socialists and International Socialists proves again that the Left are unconcerned about human life.

Surprised to see Dr Zelenko again. Thought he had been cancelled, kicked off social media etc.etc but great to see him back. Unfortunately for Zev he was an easy target for the antagonists. He is Jewish and his appearance wasn’t amenable for the masses on MSM. He actually could have been a Nobel prize winner. I remember watching interviews and blogs etc of a number of doctors pioneering HCQ ( +Zn+VItD+ antibiotics etc) and thought “Wow, isn’t medical science great”. My view these days is somewhat more jaded.

Also, as soon as the virus was spreading fast, I think it was Taiwan, started using HCQ to treat patients. They, being so close to China, often catch those same diseases soon after China does. I read that they used it for the other outbreaks, Swine Flue, Bird Flue, Sars, and simply used it again to treat this covid variant. That’s where it really started.

In an article published in Nature Medicine on 9 November, scientists investigated a virus called SHC014, which is found in horseshoe bats in China. The researchers created a chimaeric virus, made up of a surface protein of SHC014 and the backbone of a SARS virus that had been adapted to grow in mice and to mimic human disease. The chimaera infected human airway cells — proving that the surface protein of SHC014 has the necessary structure to bind to a key receptor on the cells and to infect them. It also caused disease in mice, but did not kill them.

I found 10 publications that look at the whole genome – this is a sampler. The simplification is that comparative genomics (phylogenetics) pulls out anomalies caused by insertions, deletions, mutations that don’t fit with the evolutionary patters. If a particular part of a gene does not fit the pattern it can be isolated and examined to see why. These papers are whole genome studies and represent the tip of the iceberg when compared with the more targetted use of such methods in many of the thousands of papers that have come out on the virus looking at specific functional regions of the virus.

I understand a little about your area, but it is clever stuff.

My understanding is the PCR amplifies a fragment by annealing and doubling, you end up with a scrambled egg of sorts, you then put the egg into a computer program and it should unscramble it. The program does not know what an unscrambled egg should be, so you have templates of virus’s as instructions for the computer to unscramble it into?

If there is no template for this virus, how does it create one? How are they constructed into

The first link I get nothing, but the second I get…….. if this is how you people talk it must be lonely at the dinner table

We used gene annotations to align orthologous sequences for total evidence analysis under the parsimony optimality criterion. Deltacoronavirus and Gammacoronavirus were set as outgroups to understand spillovers of Alphacoronavirus and Betacoronavirus among ten orders of animals. We corroborated that Chiroptera-hosted viruses are the sister group of SARS-CoV, SARS-CoV-2 and MERS-related viruses. Other zoonotic events were qualified and quantified to provide a comprehensive picture of the risk of coronavirus emergence among humans. Finally, we used a 250 SARS-CoV-2 genomes dataset to elucidate the phylogenetic relationship between SARS-CoV-2 and Chiroptera-hosted coronaviruses.

How am I to get my head around that. But I see Deltacoronavirus makes a show here and the rest of the alphabet family. These are all also brain wave frequencies (Alpha,Beta,Delta,Gama) is there a relationship to these?

                30

              • #

sort of. Whole genome sequencers don’t use PCR as such – PCR bowed out of that area about 20 years ago when the human genome project was complete.

But yes. The little pieces overlap so can be joined even with no knowledge of whatever it is you are studying. The method produces the genome many times over so you can reduce the possible errors in creating the contig (contiguous sequence) to a bare minimum. There are many algorithms for cross checking to see if the final product makes sense based on accumulated knowledge (and this is vast data sets handled by supercomputers)

At the end you can blindly put your sequence into the global data-base and see what you find.

I am not a CV expert but I believe that the delta coronaviruses referred to are a group of viruses (species, genera or something – virus taxonomy is difficult) and are not a strain (e.g. delta) of the covid19 virus.

If there is no Genome sequence in the data base for reference, does the computer program start adding bits from other sequences until it gets a match? I mean if it does not exist how is it brought into existence?
I have been looking into the unscrambling program, I am stuck on the salesman’s pitch of these programs. (Got to dumb it way down for me)

The second link, I am having a crack at, couple of things popped out,

                Unique furin cleavage site?
Note that SARS-CoV-2 has a unique furin cleavage site insertion (PRRA) that is not found in any other CoVs in the Sarbecovirus group. The PRRA motif is in positions 681 to 684 of the surface glycoprotein (YP_009724390.1). This motif is absent in all other coronavirus genomes except SARS-CoV-2.

Finally, despite a confusing array of reports confirming (Lam et al., 2020; Xiao et al., 2020; Zhang et al., 2020) and denying (Liu et al., 2020a) the pangolin origin of SARS-CoV-2 on small datasets, we can clearly say that, based on our analyses of large datasets both in terms of taxonomic and genomic sampling, pangolin-hosted (Manis javanica) CoVs are side events that are not part of the origins of SARS-CoV-2 infections in the human population.

                China link,

Our phylogenetic analyses consistently point to the bat-hosted coronavirus RaTG13 (NCBI GenBank accession number MN996532) as the sister taxon to the SARS-CoV-2 clade. This bat-hosted coronavirus was sequenced from a faecal swab taken from a Rhinolophus affinis bat located in China. That information by itself strongly suggests that SARS-CoV-2 originated from China. No new data have been released that changed this result.

The 6th great extinction will be your lot slaughtering suspected COV 19 hosts, so far Minks, Chivet cats, Pangolin, (the Pangolin theory goes out with the bath water) and that’s just one paper!

If there is no Genome sequence in the data base for reference, does the computer program start adding bits from other sequences until it gets a match?

No. But I think we are confusing two things.

Constructing the sequence in the lab is mostly done without reference to an external database and is aided by whatever info you might have beforehand. For example if you know there are 4 chromosomes that will assist the algorithms. Nothing arbitrary is added or subtracted

Sequence alignment methods against a data base find best matches. They do not change the data of anything but they can visually display how the alignment is optimized

                e.g

                Species1 GGAAAACC-TTAAG
                Species2 G-GAAACCCTTAAG

                Consensus GNPuAAACCNTTAAG

the alignment inserts gaps but there are no gaps in the original

My consulting rates go up considerably at this point.

I think if I were a clever president of a first world nation and learned a novel virus has popped up that is capable of causing a pandemic I’d want my scientists to examine every aspect of that virus including gain of function. And I’d do this as a strategic defense activity so that we would have a remedy available (vaccine) in case our enemies weaponize that virus. A lazy dolt like Biden and other stupid people would wait for evidence of a weaponized virus rather than proactively researching the dangerous possibilities resulting from it being weaponized by others. And they would be months behind the 8-ball as a result.

The paper in #7 is not evidence. It was run against data collected (email) in 2020. It does not reflect the adaption of the experts to the changing scope of the pandemic. In December of 2019 we had no predictive data available and we had no good known-safe pharmaceautical options. We had Pandemic 101 rules – masks, isolation, lock downs to prevent the uncontrolled spread. As we learned more and developed safe pharma responses the politicos adjusted the Pandemic 101 rules, little by little, easing restrictions. If someone knows a better way I’d like to hear it. I would have shut down all air travel, personally, because that simple step could have flattened the curve subtantially. Here in Washington State where the first US case arrived we know it arrived on an airplane. Well no s__t, Sherlock.

Perhaps the US nation will wake up. The Democrats must be careful as the US still has elections. Biden’s popularity is falling.

There is no physical evidence to support the assertion that covid is natural. The facts are starting to get out. The US people are angry as heck…. They have had more than a year of masks, isolations, had friends/relatives die, and so on.

It is getting politically/scientifically more dangerous to push/defend the theory covid is the product/result of a half dozen virus strands that happened to come together with a bolt of lightening and a puff of smoke sometime in November, 2019 to produce the Covid we are now so familiar with.

Covid is the only newly formed virus from virus parts/strands… …. that is the most infectious virus every known and wins the prize for the most novel virus features in a newly formed virus, never seen before nature, in recorded virus history.

Covid has the advanced biological features, exactly like it was designed by the Military. It is perfect for its tactical purpose.

There is now more and more talk/analysis with obvious in your face evidence, that covid either escaped from the Wuhan lab or that it was designed and released as part of a plan.

I see there is an official US State Department summary which was posted on the State Department info site, Jan 2021… … that notes China did everything possible to cover-up and hide and interfere in the Covid investigations. In a court of law covering up and interfering in an investigation is proof of a conspiracy to interfere in a lawful investigation.

US State Department…. Office of Spokesperson…. Jan. 2021

“For more than a year, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has systematically prevented a transparent and thorough investigation of the COVID-19 pandemic’s origin, choosing instead to devote enormous resources to deceit and disinformation. Nearly two million people have died. Their families deserve to know the truth. Only through transparency can we learn what caused this pandemic and how to prevent the next one.”

There is suddenly renewed interesting in getting and reading a copy of the ‘top secret’ report that was written by a ‘secret group’ at the Lawerence Livermore National Laboratory. That secret report alleges that Covid escaped from the Wuhan lab.

The problem with writing and relying on fake sciency reports to push the ‘theory’ that covid was natural…

….Is a real scientific report that discusses the actual Wuhan lab/covid facts will make the covid is natural theory fake reports…. Look like a Chinese plot that was pushed/helped by stupid minions who are patsies who did Gain of Function Research…. Minions that get caught lying/helping the enemy in a dangerous cold war will have no place to hide.

“The top secret report was published by researchers at the government-backed Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in May 2020 and alleges the coronavirus escaped from the Wuhan lab, “according to four people familiar with the document.”
Sinclair Broadcast Group first reported on the document May 3. A Livermore spokeswoman “confirmed the existence of the report but declined” to provide any more information …..

….Sinclair reported the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory intelligence unit, dubbed the “Z Division,” published the report, as its “existence” was previously unknown.

Meanwhile, Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State David Feith, who investigated the lab leak scandal, stated Wednesday governments, educational institutions, and companies can’t be sure they aren’t unknowingly working with the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) military if they’re doing science and technology exchange in China.”

Bingo. I believe there has been a forced move in the CCP Vs US game. We are on the US side although we are sort of bit players in the game, until now. The covid facts were on our side what we needed is heroes to summarize the facts and get some help for our side.

Biden cannot take back the Livermore Intelligence report’s analysis and conclusion (see above for links).

The Livermore report’s analysis, facts, and conclusions anchor/limit any future ‘analysis’.

The Livermore National Laboratory’s top secret intelligence group, published a top-secret report, May 2020 (It is odd that this report and its conclusion that covid was manmade somehow stayed secret until now) about the origins of covid. (see above for links).

The apparent conclusions of that top secret report is that Covid has manmade and may have leaked out of the Wuhan laboratory, is the system game changer we have been waiting for.

The US Livermore National Laboratory (this lab gets government funding and does top secret government research) intelligence report would have been written by professional Analysts who have top secret clearance and complete access to all info concerning the origin of covid question.

The Livermore intelligence report is about a serious topic and the report’s conclusion is a big deal. The report would have been written by Analysts who are likely specialists in virology.

The Analysts who have top secret clearance would have written their report with zero political influence. There is no political side to the question… Was covid natural or did some country make covid in a lab? …From a top secret clearance US Analysts’ point of view. There would be no possible outside commercial influence on that top secret internal report.

The report which was published in May, 2020 would have torn apart the fake science Nature paper/letter published in Jan, 2020 and other January fake science papers that alleged that covid was natural. The fake sciency Nature letter and other fake sciency papers that stated covid was natural… Contained mistruths and incorrect logic.

It is the responsibility of professional analysts to find the truth when there is deception and lies.

The intelligence report, unlike the typical journal paper, will clarify and explain the technical issues for a general audience.

Select members of the US congress are now reading the Livermore Laboratory intelligence covid origins report. The Livermore Laboratory’s report’s summary of the covid facts, analysis, and conclusion cannot be undo.

I’m just a scientist he says….but aren’t they borrowed lines? The outsourcing of gain of function research to China(PLA) is a head scratcher unless you took the need to depopulate seriously? Australia’s most authoritative Defence/Foreign Affairs writer(Greg Sheridan) says the virus wasn’t intentionally leaked…..”but this regime would be capable of doing such a thing.” And if they did it would be with the knowledge that their speed bump would be economic and social paralysis for the civilized world. The foreign flights continued after the domestic ones stopped. It was wilfully exported and things I wasn’t prepared to entertain now seem unsettling – to me.

The evidence is overwhelming, its a lethal weapon.

‘But the most compelling reason to favor the lab leak hypothesis is firmly based in science. In particular, consider the genetic fingerprint of CoV-2, the novel coronavirus responsible for the disease Covid-19.

‘In gain-of-function research, a microbiologist can increase the lethality of a coronavirus enormously by splicing a special sequence into its genome at a prime location. Doing this leaves no trace of manipulation. But it alters the virus spike protein, rendering it easier for the virus to inject genetic material into the victim cell. Since 1992 there have been at least 11 separate experiments adding a special sequence to the same location. The end result has always been supercharged viruses.’ (WSJ)

Jo, I had this squirrelled away and kick myself for not noting the source at the time. However, after a little digging, I think it came from a book by Michael Salomon, in a series called “Les Visages de l’avenir”, a collection of interviews.

Miraculously, I found this his link which appears to be someone discussing the extract. It is way beyond my ancient schoolboy French, but if you fast forward to 25 minute mark you will see a still of a page from the book. I can recognise enough to believe that this is the text in question.

The evidence is overwhelming, its a lethal weapon.

I’m a bit puzzled by this comment for several reasons. First, there isn’t overwhelming evidence (or acceptance) one way or another, (1) whether it was a natural crossover, away from the lab, (2) whether it was collected in the field and escaped the lab, (3) or whether the virus was worked on with GoF, and then escaped the lab.

The fact that the evidence isn’t overwhelming is demonstrated by the fact that the issue is being discussed all around the world (as is the extent of US financial input).

I also have difficulty with the words “lethal weapon”, which implies it was a military research project in bio-weaponry – which no-one is seriously claiming. And if you mean “lethal weapon” in a metaphorical sense only, then that would seem to be contradicted by the quite low mortality of Covid-19 in everyone but the frail old.
