Day One priorities for the Biden Administration are: Get us back into a climate agreement that will put us at an economic disadvantage; Start allowing terrorists to enter these United States by repealing Trump’s ban on them; Mandating mask wear; Eliminate Trump policy of keeping alien invaders South of the border while their (99% unsubstantiated) cases are adjudicated; Path to citizenship for over 11 million illegal aliens and killing the Keystone Pipeline.
One huge result of Democrat policies that affect lower skilled women, is an increase in homelessness for that demographic, which makes sense, but hadn’t been on my radar screen. Here’s the kicker. Webb also noted that homelessness among women often leads to other unintended consequences. Mr Webb was too much of a gentleman and was a little reluctant to be more specific on that point…until an unnamed Twitter follower said something.
What he was driving at, is that homelessness among women also leads to sex trafficking. A woman who is on the street, hungry and possibly even having a child to feed, is a prime target for those who would take advantage of her. That’s about as evil as it gets.

Quiet Before The Inauguration
There is a bit of eerie quiet in the country the night before the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States. That I just wrote that Joe Biden was going to be anything more than a failed Senator or ineffective Vice President is still a lil mind-numbing to me, but it is what it is.
Many generations of Americans went through much worse to allow me to sit here and ponder today about any of this to complain though. Americans prior to my age group, fought to create this country during the Revolutionary War, fought off an attempt to split the country during the civil war, and defended against fascism in two World Wars on lands that Americans did not live on. My sitting here in shock over having to write the above sentences about Joe Biden, simply pale in comparison to those things.
Yet I can’t shake the feeling that something is not right in the country as I sit here the night before one President leaves and another is sworn in. I have been involved in politics all my life so I have been on the winning side and losing side of many campaigns, admittedly none as brutal as this, but I don’t think that is why I’m uneasy. After the nonsense of the year-long march to the November election, the COVID-19 debacle, and the riot at the Capitol last week, it all just seems to be just a tad bit quiet right now.
Maybe getting used to all the noise of a Republican finally punching back over the past 4 years just became background noise and I became used to it. I know, I rather enjoyed listening to the nightly screeching from the mainstream media and leftists in general over how Trump would just simply troll them and let them spin. Maybe he was not doing it on purpose but it did not matter to me, the desired result was achieved and it was marvelous to watch.

There’s been a bit of a “hygiene and grooming optional” approach with me in COVID times and my hair has grown to a length that makes me look like I’m trying to achieve a “pervy professor” vibe. I’m starting to creep even myself out now. If I don’t get it cut I’m going to be sitting around here in boxer shorts and a sport coat with elbow patches and talking to my cat.
Nobody wants that.
Barring an intergalactic alien invasion or a much prayed-for appearance by the Sweet Meteor O’ Death today, Joe Biden should be the President of the United States when we go to sleep tonight. He may not know that, but the rest of us will.
When I asked in the headline if America will survive it wasn’t a question that was entirely related to our new chief executive. I think the Republic has been in decline for a while. Trump’s presidency gave us a four year reprieve. All that did was energize those who have been endeavoring to hasten the decline and they’re now back in power. I’m not saying we’ll be toast in a year or two but we are definitely not on the side of the nation’s historical timeline that we’d like to be.
That doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun while it’s all falling apart.

As for terrifying the masses at this potent show of military might, well, it might appear mightier if so many of the troops didn’t look like members of the Vindman Brigade. Well, there was a lot of talk on the retired leaders’ network about how so many of the troops looked out of shape and, undisciplined. But hey – I’m sure they all got their transsexual awareness training completed.
That mess in the Capitol, with bodies strewn everywhere and weapons all over the place, was a disgrace. It never should have happened in a military organization, where discipline is key. But the objective here was not a military one but an information one. The Establishment wanted to send a message, and thought showing troops gaggled on marble floors was a great message. But it was garbled – the freak out about “insider threats” cast doubt on the troops’ willingness to pillage the proles at the behest of Pelosi.
What it told us vet leaders is these were undisciplined, badly led troops exploited by their garbage civilian leadership.

Despite more than four years of endless attacks on him and his character, President Trump will leave office with a higher approval rating than the previous Republican president, George W. Bush, had when he left office in 2009.
According to the RealClearPolitics average, Trump will leave office with an approval rating of 40 percent, while George W. Bush left office with an average of 29 percent.
President Trump’s presidency was long overshadowed by the bogus Russian collusion narrative, the partisan impeachment in 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the second impeachment. It seems a very common trope that Biden-Harris will be a disaster … but I have the opposite view. They will have to spend a lot of time cleaning up the huge mess they have inherited, and that will take much of this year I expect.
Watching the Inauguration live (around 3:00 am here in Queensland) – quite moving and impressive, despite the sparse crowds.
Not disruptions or riots so far – I guessed the armed guard led to that. It is a national tragedy that the Empire had to defend itself militarily in this way – but you could expect nothing less after the storming of the Capitol.
It will be interesting to see whether Trump and Trumpism fade quickly, and the GOP renews itself, or will Trumpism endure through to 2022 and 2024. I suspect not. I think Trump will lose interest pretty smartly.

The China virus was certainly not Trump’s fault and the response of his administration was top notch despite the ubiquitous negative spin attached to every report by the MSM. Besides, with 2 vaccines and another on the way, we won and this will be over soon.
One size fits all doesn’t work for a country as large and diverse as ours, so specific restrictions were properly delegated to local authorities, under CDC guidelines of course. The resulting mess arose from incompetent local leadership, most of which were in blue states that were failing long before the virus hit.
We must not reward the failure of leadership by bailing out failed blue states. Their mess is of their own making. Only by letting them fail will more people be able to look past the propaganda and hateful rhetoric.
Other than that, I don’t know what mess you’re referring to. America is finally respected by the world, rather than considered a deep pocket pushover. The green nonsense was stopped and we’re finally energy independent. Immigration was geting under control from the mess left by Obama. Help me out guys. I’m trying to come up with a suitable name for the new country. I think my fav so far is the OPSA -the One Party State of America. I sort of like the SHSA – the Self Hating States of America. I am having trouble coming up with a single word. How about the CSA? – the Cowed States of America?
A thought about something that has always stuck with me — Carl Rove’s revelation that the best way to attack someone is to attack their strength. What is happening in the SHSA today looks like a perfect example of that. The whole racist thing – white privilege, white fragility, educated into self hatred; looks like a pretty textbook case of attacking a nation’s strength.
It is totally beyond me who is pulling all the strings. The wealthy have kept the people distracted and divided for centuries, by stirring up racism in the lower classes. Maybe those tactics have lost some bite – the middle class was getting too big and happy, and was losing enthusiasm for that sort of stuff? So you just pump energy into the ghettos, and tell them they are now top dog?
And then there are the ultra left, studious grass roots organizers, starting with education, and brainwashing the last 3 generations, and trying to bring down the old system on everybody’s heads, so they can start anew, on top of the rubble pile.
And then there are the outside players, able to at least provide backing to whoever they chose.
So it is a real tangle of influencers. But I reckon the Main Event will be between the ultra greedy, and the ultra power crazy. When that happens, there probably wont be much popcorn anymore? Well not for a few decades, as some lucky people get to pick up the pieces.

The capture and takeover of the United States is the jewel in the crown for the Left. Once freedom has fallen there it will fall in all other Western countries (it doesn’t really exist elsewhere). Trump was the ONLY restraining force against these forces of evil.
If humanity survives this and there is ever freedom again to write true history, historians will mark the day Biden was illegally installed as President as a day of infamy.

Biden’s controllers have written a huge pile of Executive Orders for him to robotically sign without reading them. These will undo all of Trump’s magnificent achievements in a matter of days.
I think the pressure will be on to get Biden to sign as many documents as possible before his advancing dementia precludes his ability to sign his name.
