Michigan votes un-certified, back in play, after harassment and threats against children

Two Republican canvassers wouldn’t certify the dubious votes in Wayne County, Michigan. Then for two hours they were worked on, and their families and children were threatened, they agreed to certify under duress, and only with the condition of a full audit. But the audit idea was dropped, just another lie. The two canvassers then decided to rescind their votes, and wrote and signed affidavits.

The vote in Michigan remains uncertified. If the electoral college votes are not certified before December 14 and no candidate gets 270 votes the election goes to the House in January, as voted on by State representatives, not Congressional members. Republicans control that House.

Something the ABC, BBC, CBC forgot to mention tonight in the news:

Cancel Culture threatened to exile them and follow them forever

DailyMail: Just some of the harassment:

The initial decision by the two Republicans not to certify sparked outrage on Tuesday, with the two board members being subsequently lambasted in a Zoom meeting by Ned Staebler, a prominent Michigan businessman who worked as a poll watcher in the large county, which encompasses the city of Detroit.

‘I just want to let you know that the Trump stink, the stain of racism that you have covered yourself in, is going to follow you throughout history,’ Staebler raged, noting that the pair specifically refused to certify results in Detroit, which has a population that is around 80 percent black.

‘You will forever be known in southeastern Michigan as two racists who did something so unprecedented that they disenfranchised hundreds of thousands of black voters in the city of Detroit, because they were ordered to,’ Staebler raged.

‘Just know when you try to sleep tonight that millions of people around the world on Twitter know the names William Hartmann and Monica Palmer as two people completely racist and without an understanding of what integrity means or a shred of human decency.’

As far as predictions go my record is poor.
I think this stuff is going nowhere.
    Like the Durham investigation.

Many of us here are some the few that know about the persecution of Curry, Pielke and others by the Obama administration.
They are just going to get away with.

. . . some the few that know about the persecution of Curry . . .

      Curry?
Surely you are not referring to Judith Curry?

Curry was certainly persecuted, to the point she quit Georgia Technand academia, after having Department Chair. But not by the Obama Admin to my knowledge.

Judith Curry was dumped (not “persecuted”) by the global warming cultists when when she tried to establish a foot in each camp in 2009, following the release of the Climategate emails. With cultists it’s all or nothing, and Curry tried to have an each way bet.

Hardly surprising, since at the time she and her husband ran a multi-million dollar business “advising” corporations on how to best deal with global warming.

She tried to launch this “new and improved” Judith Curry over at WUWT, repeatedly referring to other commenters as “climate deniers”, until the polymath, Willis Eisenbach, presented her with a new rectum.

in 2015 her work was instrumental in discrediting the efforts of Jennifer Marohasy, Australia’s only true environmental scientist, in Jennifer’s efforts to reverse the disaster (deliberately)imposed and unfolding in the Murray-Darling catchment irrigation system.

Curry is just like an Australian mainstream party politician: –
“Forget what they say, observe what they do“.

Judith is unapologetically a lukewarmer, but I didn’t hear about this… ‘in 2015 her work was instrumental in discrediting the efforts of Jennifer Marohasy.’

Being a lukewarmer is not trying to have it both ways. It is a specific position that many scientists hold. Once she took that position she was branded a skeptic and hounded relentlessly, to the point that she left academia.

I don’t think there is a respectable position based on the false data.

There is probably one, in my opinion, that there is some human aided warming laid on top of natural variation….
There is probably another that, even if the data were real, the prescriptions are insanely no-cost-effective, and often harmful.

Both these ignore the cost of flogging the lie to the public, and the intrinsic harm of propaganda….
the credibility of government in general now being “they pretend to instruct us, and we pretend to learn”.

“likewarmer” translates to me as “salary and position protector” and it is something that can easily fail in an argument where there is no nuance.
Back where I’m from, there’e nothing in the middle of the road but dead armadillos.

PS to all to haven’t; I’ve no skin in the game, but the stuff on David’s website, totally unrelated to climate, is pretty interesting.

The Obama administration had a hit list of 7 scientists.
I saw it on the frigging White House web site.
A congressional committed demanded her entire pay records.
They had a whole moronic thing trying to prove these scientists had taken money from Exxon.
She responded to my question about it on her blog.
            Her university provided the info.
I don’t have time to prove it because I have to go to what’s left of my small business that’s being destroyed by the second grand BS operation they foisted on us.
Have to hand it to them, this is way better than the climate one.

The election of Joe Biden to the presidency is bad because of his support for climate alarmism. That’s why I voted against him.

I believe that focusing on all of these unproven conspiracy theories is harmful to the end goal of opposing the climate change alarmists. I don’t think that President Trump has any chance of a second term unless he runs in 2024.

Can we get back to climate change?

You fool. If Biden ends up being POTUS you can forget about any future election victory by Trump. The DemonRats will make it so impossible for him ever to become President. It’s either now or never, do or die. If Biden becomes POTUS you can forget about the US; it will go under quick smart, and so badly not even Trump can save the US.

        Fool?… how nice…

Realist. Biden is, or will be, the President-elect. Trump’s denial of this is harmful to the GOP now and in the future. It’s also harmful to his legacy and any candidacy for him in 2024.

The United States is more resilient than you give it credit for. Biden does not have a mandate and, if he tries to push too much through, he will lose the House of Representatives in the 2022 mid-terms and may pick up Senate seats. Unless, of course, Trump continues to damage the party by refusing to accept reality.

Having voted for Trump, I will say that he is proving not to be the savior he thinks he is.

Then you are a double fool because due diligence has to be observed for the election. What you are advocating is to ignore all the evidence of election fraud. Let the courts decide as stipulated by the Constitution under the circumstances. This is not the first time something like this has happened although it is by far the most serious and widespread. Don’t you care about the Constitution? Clearly you don’t.

          212

          • #

No. I do not advocate ignoring evidence of election fraud. However, so far, such evidence has not been provided to any courts. Trump keeps losing in courts, even with GOP appointed/elected judges. Time is short for all the President’s men (and women) to prove their case(s).

I would be pleased if they had the evidence and could stop this. I’ve been watching this closely since election night and I cannot see any real hope. I cannot rest my hopes on far-fetched allegations.

I absolutely care about the Constitution. It must prevail.

You are jumping the gun; don’t you get it? Let due diligence run its course. What you are now advocating is to block their Constitutional right to do what they are doing. Now I’m not so sure you are telling the truth about voting for Trump. Either that or you are a triple fool. Keep digging your hole deeper and deeper.

              144

              • #

It all has to play out by January 20th. I do not advocate blocking anyone’s Constitutional rights. There is no hole to dig. Let them have their day in court. Let them have their day in petitioning the state legislatures so long as they do not subvert the laws of the applicable state or the legitimate votes of the people.

I just don’t believe that they have any chance. I have the right to my opinion without being called a fool, though if that’s what floats your boat, go ahead.

I’m not jumping the gun on anything. My intent was to voice my opinion that we need to get back to climate-related issues. I do understand that the American election will have an impact on that if (when) Biden takes office and I believe we need to prepare for the inauguration which will occur in one day shy of two months from today.

Mike, so now you are back-pedalling; too little too late. You made you statement that Trump has no chance and so should just surrender to Biden in order to get back to discussing climate change. You did not mention anything about waiting for the deadlines. You have the wrong priorities. Defeating the climate change scam will be much harder if not impossible if Biden becomes POTUS as I explained. Wake up!

                64

              • #

Nope, not back-pedaling. I never said he should surrender. I said his denial of the inevitable is harming his legacy and the GOP. If he wants to fight, he has the right. I think he is hurting the GOP at this point. We need the GOP to be strong and we need to take back the House in 2022 and strengthen the hold on the Senate. Politically on the national stage, those are my priorities.

My wanting to get back to climate change was directed at this venue, not the US elections nor about what Trump should or shouldn’t do.

I very much understand that fighting climate change alarmism will be much more difficult. My vote for president was based solely on climate change… nothing else.

Though I had a lot of other reasons I could have considered, the one and only reason that I specifically voted against Biden is his stance on climate change. If he and Trump would have had the same position on climate, then I would have had to look at other things. There was no need. I still probably would not have voted for Biden. Not that it would have mattered. My state is solidly red.

An, yes, I do understand that politics and this fight is climate change related.

Evidence hmmmm let’s see……well the man in question, the man prepared to wipe his bum with your constitution wants to certify a vote that is so corrupt it will break your country.

Why is it corrupt? Well there are 70 precincts that collected more votes than registered voters ranging from 125 to 350% that’s evidence of fraud and the lefty loon in question is commuting fraud by certifying the vote.

The reason why there is too many votes is because of a 173k vote dump at 3AM 97% for Biden which arrived in trash cans, suitcases and card board boxes. The 173k votes were spread over hundreds of non existent precincts with zero registered voters.

If you don’t see a problem with this then you U are a part of the problem, I suggest you get out of the way and allow real Americans get their country back

I believe I understand what you ‘mean’.

The US constitution is a piece of paper with some good ideas about government. The US constitution was written to protect the US from evil plans/attacks. It appears portions of the US legal system/department of Justice have become corrupted as part of the current evil plan to incapacitate the US.

When the US is at war, portions of the US constitution are/can be appropriately suspended to enable the US to defend itself from the attack.

This is a complex ideological and physical attack on the US, by China, that involves US institutions, US media companies, the Democratic party, and thousands of Chinese agents.

Trump is not the winner or loser of the US election. The US election results are not going to be certified because of the attack.

Trump is not going to be responsible for finding and remove the conspirators from the US government. That is the US Military’s responsibility.

The US Military will require a couple of years to complete that task. The US is also on the brink of an economic war with China which the US Military predicts will start early next year, as the US people become informed about what has happened in the US, the origin of the covid virus, and what will happen to resolve the current crisis. The US Military have a plan to protect the US financial system.

      I can’t believe it.

Thirty posts so far, and ten just on this one comment alone, on the outcome of the Trump-Biden stoush.

If Biden comes out on top he is committed to implementing the Paris Accord, which Australia is already a signatory to, and the current Morrison Liberal government, and a possible future Labor government, are both hell-bent on implementing.

Trump is an avowed Nationalist and will put American political interests first, last and foremost, regardless of what insignificant (politically) little Australia chooses to do.

In other words, in the grander scheme of things the outcome of the U.S. Presidential Election is going to make stuff-all difference to us either way. We are on our own and it’s time we started facing up to that fact, and figuring out what to do about it.

The vote was to certify the election results for the county. They voted 4 to 0 to certify the election. The election is certified at that level and reported as such to the state. They changed their minds after that point. I don’t think there is anything to litigate.

I doubt if there is a mechanism to “uncertify” a vote tally once it’s been made, but even if they were able to do so by vote, the vote would be 2 to 2.

I’ve lived in Bingham Farms, Michigan, in Oakland County, just five miles north of Wayne County, for the past 33 years.

This Wayne County “certification issue” issue does not matter. It is over less than one thousand votes in total, mainly within the city of Detroi … when Biden won the state of Michigan by about 155,000 votes.

I have not heard the certifiers, or whatever you call them, mention
the following potentially much bigger issues:

The six figure nearly all Biden “vote dump” in the middle of the night after election day, or

The computers programmed to fix the votes,

Running predominantly pro-Biden ballots from Detroit through the tabulating machines twice or three times, or

The huge numbers of ballots with only one mark on them for Joe Biden
That is very suspicious when one mark, a few inches away on the Michigan ballot, would have been a vote for ALL Democrats, which I’m sure is common in Detroit.

I know this for a fact because my wife and I filled out our absentee ballots at the same time, and she was done in one minute — colored in the circle for ALL Republicans, while I was busy looking for the libertarian candidates after voting for Trump.

The “certifiers” were not objecting to anything that is even close to changing the Michigan vote. The last news I heard is they did certify the Wayne County (includes Detroit) vote. I wish they had been more interested in the potentially MUCH LARGER fraud sworn to in affidavits.

Apart from many other issues, this shows how the legacy media plus the social(ist) media can successfully lie by saying Trump supporters and Trump himself are “racist” when Trump has done more for black employm ednt and support of other black related causes than any other President. Plus, no one can ever produce any evidence that he is “racist”.

The Left just want to keep the black community on welfare forever and as voting slaves and their record shows that.

Also, look at the viciousness with which the Left treat black conservatives.

    Some inconvenient facts:

Thanks Jo for your dogged coverage of the greatest fraud in politics which is just as damaging as the greatest fraud in science. I am 75 and for the past few decades believed that all would be right with the world but recently I see we live in not interesting times but extremely dangerous times. The very rich and very powerful are trampling the rest of us underfoot and many of the trampled are too ignorant to realise what is happening. Indeed the completely stupid are aiding and abetting e.g. the BLM marchers and the climate children. Trump has been the only leader to have stood up for the great unwashed. Other so called conservative leaders have folded at the first sniff of electoral defeat.

On another subject: I agree that politicians should have term limits of no more than 12 years which gives our Senators 2 terms and the house 4. I also think senior public servants should also have limits.

      Lawrie,
I’m about the same vintage as yourself and just like you I thought things would turn out OK but i’m afraid despondency is overtaking me.
I agree with you about all that trampling and aiding abetting etc. I started a blog about a year ago so that I could speak out and give my wife a bit of a break.(she is with me all the way). It’s hard to get much traction but it’s therapeutic from the point of view that I feel at least i’m doing something. All the best.

I would think that audits of wealth prior to and after public service would deter quite a few from taking on political office.

I can imagine the opening line of questioning. Prior to entering public service your wealth was $x. After leaving public service your wealth was $z. Your tax returns show income of $y. Can you tell us why $x + $y < $z?

This report published yesterday in the Guardian seems to contradict the headline of this post. It is difficult to reconcile the two reports.

“As states move closer to certify their election results, the legal pathways that even the most impassioned state lawmakers have to meaningfully change the results in their state are slim. Nor are there many signs that local officials are willing to go along with changes to normal practices in regards to the electoral college.

That fact was highlighted by a statement from Michigan’s top two Republican lawmakers who visited Trump at the White House on Friday.

“As legislative leaders, we will follow the law and follow the normal process regarding Michigan’s electors,” wrote Mike Shirkey, the leader of the state’s senate, and Lee Chatfield, the speaker of the state’s House of Representatives.

They also said that they have “not yet been made aware of any information that would change the outcome of the election”, a blow to Trump showing that, despite consistently claiming the election was rigged against him, at least some Republicans believe the evidence of the claim is slim.

All of Michigan’s counties have certified the results, so it is up to the state’s board of canvassers to certify the results for the entire state. The board, made up of two Democrats and two Republicans, is set to meet on Monday. While one of the Republican board members suggested that the state should conduct an audit of the election, the board’s power is narrow and election lawyers in the state have said the path to fighting certification is complicated.”

In a possible sign that some Republican resolve might be shifting Elizabeth Cheney, a senior figure and the party and congresswoman from Wyoming, issued a statement calling on Trump to prove his allegations of fraud or accept that he has lost.

“If the president cannot prove these claims or demonstrate that they would change the election result, he should fulfill his path to preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States by respecting sanctity of the electoral process,” Cheney said.

You have to remember that Trump is not part of the Republican establishment so just because a state governor, Secretary of State, house representative or senator is Republican, it doesn’t necessarily follow that he/she supports Trump. Some will see a Biden/Harris presidency is a fair price to be rid of Trump and discount any major structural changes to the government under such so they expect that the electorate will cycle back to the Republicans soon enough.

Well, they’d better hope the Georgia senate runoffs go their way else the Democrats may well pack the Supreme Court with “progressive” judges and add Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia as states leaving the Republicans powerless for the foreseeable future.

If nothing else the election fraud of what was generally considered the “greatest democracy*” shows the pure evil of the Left, especially of their leadership which is that of the various Billionaire Socialists, mostly who control social(ist) and other media.

Plus the vast armies of useful idiots of the Sheeple, mindless drones, that allow themselves to be used and manipulated for the benefit of power and wealth of said Billionaire Socialists shows just how stupid and ignorant a majority of people have become both in the US and elsewhere.

That is why the Left have been at war with the teaching of critical thinking and real history in the Marxist dominated “schools” for decades.

*Technically the US has a form of government which is a federal constitutional republic with elected representatives of the people but may be considered a democracy because the people, not the government hold the ultimate power, primarily via the First and Second Amendments. (All in theory, not in current practice due to extensive corruption of these ideals.)

On another thread another poster here linked a NewsMax interview Brian Trascher (Trump campaign head). In the interview he talks about the German servers, which they seized (his language is possessive suggesting Trump was involved in ordering this operation).

Suggests also that Trump’s team are either in possession of the servers, or at least have access to the raw data. This is significant. He also warns people to be prepared, that things might get messy and violent as the information comes out.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_JARELtkMU

He says they’re already analysing and finding things like dramatic shifts in voting patterns by tens of thousands votes (switched to Biden) in just over 1 minute.

The ‘evidence’ they’ll be presenting in court (not to partisan hack legacy media) and as it relates to Dominion?

If this is correct, then a whole lot of people are backing themselves into a very uncomfortable corner with their “no evidence of wide-spread fraud”.

I have been wondering of Trump was planning a massive sting operation well before the election by letting them conduct their various techniques to commit voter fraud on a mass scale never done before in the US. If so he’s taking a huge risk but the pay-off is massive. He’s that type of person where he sees the risks are worth the pay-off but if and when they do fail he’s prepared to move on and do his next thing, whatever that might be.

I suspect he has set up a sting.

The Left cant help itself, its evil and stupid in equal measures, with an army of useful expendable idiots to be called on.

The trick is nail the coordinators of it all, then the financers…cut off the head of the snake. With special forces in play, clearly Trump is looking at a tactical surgical strike, and expecting violence to boot. The Left are a murderous lot, look at the murder of the Russian Czar and his family, Stalin, Mao etc. If Trump as smart as I think he is, we may see doors being kicked in and gun fights to arrest those who are running the show…RINOs too will be on the list.

In the very least the Trump administration knew they would cheat. It was an inevitability and Trump’s team saw the significance of early manoeuvring. The fact that Biden seemed to win without leaving his basement nor offering much in the way of policy was also suspicious. His events didn’t draw enough people to fill a bus.

It’s why Trump had so many lawyers at the ready and no doubt pre-prepared.

I remember reading on the GateWay Pundit that article (the legacy media missed it), based on a tweet about the operation in Germany. Many (including myself) thought it interesting but then wrote it off as maybe not happening or another red herring. Now it’s been confirmed as having happened about a week later. A week seems like a long time right now.

The Gateway Pundit also speculated whether the sudden removal of Esper as Defence Head, just prior to seizing the servers, may be significant in terms of a time-line.

If Trump had authorised a mission that could lead to the exposure of a lot of people, he wouldn’t risk sabotage by someone not loyal to him.

Trump himself is being very circumspect. He seems quite relaxed, so you have to wonder what he’s got up his sleeve?

The media are peeved it’s not all happening in their scheduled programming time slots. Just as Jenna Ellis said, ‘it’s not an episode of Law and Order’ and all neatly tied up with a big bow in 60 minutes. They also seem to be positioning themselves as the arbiters of truth and justice, in place of the court. Demanding the evidence be presented to them now, in a press conference. The bumptuous, unrealistic hacks!

I wonder if the media are missing Trump already? Saw the bumbling almost incoherent Biden speak yesterday. Then saw another clip of media kicked out of a meeting, quite forcibly (as in, looks like almost shoving them out the door) and barred from asking questions (that Biden can’t answer, clearly). Sign of how things will be if Biden is POTUS?

You have to hand it to Trump; he generated a whole heap of material for the media, whether they loved him or hated him. What an own goal they’ve kicked! They got their partisan pick with the “Big Guy”, apparently, and now..?

That was my fear initially, especially when Powell said she didn’t know who had the servers. We knew it was an American operation, but it doesn’t automatically follow that that’s a good thing. Look at all the other evidence of wrong-doing the intelligence agencies have sat on, allowing the country to be riven with turmoil that could have been shut down quickly. I’ve lost friends and people I consider family over this who only know what the legacy media feeds them. Orange Man Bad. They don’t even know about the peace deals in the ME for e.g.

What gives me a glimmer of hope is the way Trascher spoke about the servers. It suggests that the evidence is not in the hands of unfriendly intelligence, to be hidden. He talked about what the raw data is revealing.

If this is an honest statement by Trascher, and given his warnings to prepare for the violent lefty backlash, then this may be a game-changer.

For the sake of democracy the Presidential Election USA voting irregularities identified and/or alleged must be thoroughly investigated and the outcome decided by the highest court of law.

The Great Reset tacked on as global warming climate change hoax scare impact diminishes markedly must be exposed and stopped, COVID based manipulation brought to an end.

Yet most people I have spoken to about these subjects are not interested. It reminds me of a comment a politician made many years ago that the average voter only reacts to their “hip pocket nerve” and until that is impacted they bask in their ignorance.

In other words the whole election has to be verified and re-counted. They can’t just brush it under the carpet and pretend it doesn’t matter. More details of the Dems 2020 election fraud… shocking.

Odd that all of the media companies in the world suddenly speak as if they are controlled by a puppet master (a puppet stays on script, makes up lies, hides stuff, repeats propaganda like climate change over and over and over).

What has happened this year and during the last decade, specific issues like the virus, China’s virus actions, US election media coverage, US election interference, climate emergency which forces uncontrolled spending, uncontrolled irrational spending,… starts to look like a worldwide evil plan, rather than just Dem 2020 election fraud.

Blackwell: The Greatest Electoral Heist in American History

    https://www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2020/11/21/blackwell-the-greatest-electoral-heist-in-american-history/

We are going to stay in US election limbo, until mid-January, if the script which I have read is correct. It has been 100% correct to date.

From the ‘script’ of this period in history, the Military will present their investigation findings, mid-January and because of the Milt findings, there will be no 2021 presidential inauguration. The details about Dem involvement are going to be purposely, held back from the public as long as possible, to delay that side of this American tragedy.

Senior Dems are going to be at the mid-January presentation and will speak very briefly, (Obama for sure. I believe Biden goes to a foreign country soon after the presentation) to get the public on side with what has happened in the US and the temporary changes that will be required to allow time for the investigation and resolution of this threat to the US.

One comment there that I agree with 100% is:
“Anyone with functioning grey matter knows that this election was a fraud! The question remains, are people going to just throw their hands in the air and say oh well or is this the line in the sand that patriots are drawing and saying no more it’s time to take a stand for freedom and liberty! Stay tuned!”

      Yes indeed. Time will tell.

“Biden goes to a foreign country ….”?

It is interesting to note that one of the foundation associates involved in the global warming based on natural climate hoax was now deceased Canadian billionaire Maurice Strong, he had connections in China including that his cousin was a girlfriend of Communist Mao Zedong.

Strong fled to China and was granted asylum to escape from Canadian Police and Environmental Protection Agency investigating his involvement in a plan to illegally extract fresh water from an aquifer below land he had purchased in Canada. Like all of the master minds of climate, now Reset, politics and agenda Strong was motivated by personal wealth creation and power.

I have read that part of the new world order planning involves Communist China capitalism, controlled and managed with only trusted Party members permitted to participate, and now they want to turn the developed world of nations into paupers after assets are siezed and stolen who are welfare dependent and effectively slaves and elites who are not. Like the Communist USSR where elite comrades could shop in department stores and buy whatever they wanted and others waited in line to buy whatever was for sale in very limited supply, and most missed out and their family starved.

Control and domination through local government.

State and local building regulations have for years carried the extra expense and subservience required of a woke society.

            In particular;

Rooftop water to be drained into plastic water storage tanks, made in China, with internal motors that fail regularly. Saves building dams, and the money saved by HDWBd can be taken from the locals off to Sydney head office of the libl parti.

Aluminum slat awnings to keep the Sun off the building. Huge cost not redeemed by any savings in electricity used to offset heat using air conditioning.

Hot water storage tanks must include a heat pump, all from China. They break down after 18 months. No saving in electricity.

Lots of incentive to hire private certifyers.ha ha.
            How did that go Sydney?

Just useless nominal greenism posing as concerned environmentalism.

We are being controlled and taxed beyond democratic reason.

CLAIM: The U.S. Army raided the Frankfurt office of the Spanish election software company Scytl to seize servers that had evidence of voting irregularities in the Nov. 3 U.S. election.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Both the Army and Scytl told The Associated Press the claim is not true. Furthermore, Scytl does not have offices or servers in Frankfurt, Germany.

There seems to be two assertions there; The Claim and the Rebuttal. Not much evidence either way.

Quote from the *republican* judge tossing out Trumps last large suit in Pennsylvania:

One might expect that when seeking such a startling outcome, a plaintiff would come formidably armed with compelling legal arguments and factual proof of rampant corruption, such that this Court would have no option but to regrettably grant the proposed injunctive relief despite the impact it would have on such a large group of citizens. That has not happened,” Brann added. “Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence.

That is his 30th loss in court.

What is it going to take to convince you people that Trump is a con-man seeking to sow chaos by manipulating his followers because he can’t accept that he lost?

BTW here are some of death threats sent to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s wife’s private cell phone number:

“You better not botch this recount. Your life depends on it.”
“Your husband deserves to face a firing squad.”
“The Raffenspergers should be put on trial for treason and face execution.”

So stop pretending that these threats only come from one side.
If you want them to stop someone has to tell Trump is deliberately creating chaos by spreading these completely bogus claims of fraud.

    14

TimG, all threats by either side are a dreadful thing. The solution is to air all grievances through free speech. Censorship creates two kinds of angry people, some who are fed the propaganda believe it, and some who are silenced lash out.

When you campaign for free speech I’ll believe you give a damn about science or election outcomes.

Implementation of the Green New Deal would be a disaster for the economy and have no effect on climate.

The irony is that all this fuss about CO2 is a humungous mistake.
The only greenhouse gas that has a significant effect on climate is water vapor. Global WV trend has been increasing 1.5% per decade which is faster than is possible from temperature increase (feedback). https://tinyurl.com/yxehr2pj is a comparison of measured WV increase and a calculation of what it would be if from temperature increase alone. This demonstrates that WV increase is not caused by planet warming from CO2 increase.

In the last 30 years, more than 7 WV molecules have been added to the atmosphere for each CO2 molecule and, in the atmosphere, each WV molecule is about 1.37 times more effective at absorbing IR than a CO2 molecule. The WV increase is nearly all (about 96%) from increasing irrigation. WV increase accounts for all of the temperature increase attributable to humanity (about 0.7 K 1895-2019). Carbon dioxide, in spite of being a ghg, has no significant net effect on climate. https://watervaporandwarming.blogspot.com

Although WV is a ghg and more of it results in increased surface temperature the increase from WV increase is self-limiting. More WV indicates an increase of the rate of transport of energy from the surface to an elevation where the energy can be radiated to space and also will result in increased cloud cover which reflects more solar radiation energy away and provides more area for broad-spectrum radiation to space. Lower altitude and thus warmer cloud temperature also increases radiation to space.

WV at the poles is very low because of the low temperature so the GHE there is dominated by CO2. The CO2 increase is significant there and explains the small temperature increase there.

No mistake, CO2 was targeted because it was chosen to suit the sales and marketing hyperbole that became global warming, greenhouse, climate hoax.

Carbon Dioxide, Carbon pollution, for example. Carbon Dioxide used to adjust temperature In a greenhouse so the atmosphere of the planet becomes a greenhouse in global warming marketing circles, targeting the sheepeople.

        Hi Dennis,
the CO2 in the greenhouse is to increase the partial pressure of CO2 so that plant growth can be accelerated.

    Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania:
US District Judge Matthew Brann in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, turned down the request for an injunction by President Donald Trump’s campaign, spoiling the incumbent’s hopes of somehow overturning the results of the presidential contest.
Brann compared the legal claims brought up by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani to ‘Frankenstein’s Monster’ and said some of the campaign’s arguments were ‘unhinged.’
In his ruling, Brann said the Trump campaign presented “strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations … unsupported by evidence.”
“In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state,” the opinion said. “Our people, laws, and institutions demand more.”

Here’s a comment from this weekend’s Australian Financial Review

“Mr Trump’s lawsuit initially included formal allegations that the defendants had also violated the campaign’s rights by preventing Republican observers from watching votes being counted, which the defendants denied.

Those claims were scrapped in a revised version of the suit. Mr Giuliani and other Trump advisers initially denied that the claims had been dropped, then said they had “strategically decided to restructure” the suit, before finally saying in court filings that the claims were removed by mistake.

Mr Giuliani asked the judge for permission to restore the deleted claims about count observers in a proposed third version of the lawsuit, but his request was dismissed by Judge Brann along with the rest of the campaign’s legal effort.

The judge said Mr Trump’s campaign did not have standing to bring the lawsuit but that even if it had standing, it would have failed based on the merits of its case.

The suit’s dismissal left Mr Trump without even a longshot strategy for overturning his defeat to Mr Biden in Pennsylvania, which the President has baselessly attributed to fraud.”
