Why I voted Green

h/t to Speedy and Helen.  :- )

Some people think Green voters have a Marxist grand plan to take over the levers of power.

But it’s more mundane…

The Chaser. Nine years ago.

Good satire hurts.

Our Canadian politicians are just salivating at the choice of the US vice-president Kamala Harris hopeful. She went and graduated High School in Quebec, Canada.
So now the media is promoting that it is a done deal and she will be in office.

I am sure she will be big in the Jamacian, Indian, Canadian, American intersectional voting preferences.

I’m sure it’s been seen many times before but this UK sketch is incredibly ironic given that the BBC and Met Office in the UK never stop telling us every bit of weather is extreme and unprecedented and although ever bit of weather cannot be directly blamed on, it definitely is, climate change nudge nudge wink wink. During our current heatwave the BBC weatherman solemnly announced ‘Global Heating is happening now’ – even though it won’t be a hotter month than summer months in 1947, 1808 and dozens of others!

I remember arriving in London straight from Perth, Australia on August 20 1995 and sweating like a pig because it was about 33. The humidity must have been near 100%. Thinking London would be cold, I had a thick jacket to carry around as I couldn’t check into my hotel for several hours. I don’t recall anyone carrying on too much about “Proof of global warming” – it was just an unusually hot summer that year.

Loved London. Even the street thugs had a sense of humour.

Same tactics in use here in Australia except that our Bureau of Meteorology dashes about altering historic temperature data to prove temperatures are rising out of control today!!
What happened to Prime Minister Abbot’s audit of the Bureau’s data & dodgy methodology??
Why has the current administration not reinstated that Audit?
Because the UN does not agree??

The audit proposed by PM Abbott was rejected by a slim majority of his Cabinet Ministers, the same group no doubt who were working with Union Labor GetUp to get rid of PM Abbott at the time.

I used to enjoy The Chaser, not least because it was balanced. Unfortunately, it eventually hurtled so far towards the left that it ceased to be funny.

Yes their current project on the ABC is all about CAGW and full of rhetoric but light on science .

Today all of these yobo’s, who by the way almost got themselves shot by trying to impersonate Arabs during a State visit, are anti Trumpers.

I am reminded of Tim and Debbie. For example:
Tim & Debbie Dissect Education – Australia You’re Standing in It
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJWbehBSLcA
Even Donald Rumsfeld was watching, apparently.

      Tim:

I know for a fact that I would have been much more intelligent if I hadn’t gone to school.

Tim and Debbie were brilliant comedy. These days the ABC would never allow this. Making fun of student union pseudo-intellectuals? Never!

Yep. You can hide all you like and waste your life, but the virus is going to find you out sooner or later. get it and get over it. Thats what humans have done for thousands of years. Now we just hide under the bed. As for the Victorian state Gestapo beating up people for trying to breathe – Himmler would be proud that Aus is copying the third reich.

Better postpone the NZ election until another time and when a new popularity stunt has been worked out?

Talking of the BOM, is their any movement on trying to get the BOM to publish their ‘too complex for laymen’ adjustments made to the datasets used on AU?

Perhaps a crow funding campaign to take them to court for a judicial review (as called in the UK)?
