For people interested in the history of Western Civilization and the role of the Classics and Education in the future of The West. These events are always thought provoking. A Classical Revival night in Perth

Are you concerned about the direction that the West and Australia in particular, is heading? Then join us for an evening of interesting presentations, discussion and wine tasting as we work out a strategy for recovery based around Classical Christian Education.

Where? Garbin Estate Wines – 209 Toodyay Road, Middle Swan.

When? Saturday 24th November 2018, 6.30pm for 7.00pm

7.00 – 7.30Western Civilisation – Understanding the Crisis:  Stephen Hurworth is a Perth based History teacher with a specialist interest in Classical Christian Education. He believes that Western Civilisation can recover from its current malaise by rediscovering its roots.
7.30-8.00 The Classical Christian Solution Damon Sokolowski – Damon has worked in both Classical Christian Education and Christian ministry in Perth and is passionate about promoting Classical Christian Education in Australia, particularly with regard to online learning.
8.00 – 8.30 Drinks break
8.30 – 9.00 Panel Discussion Q and A Focus topic: Implementing Classical Christian in Australia – home schooling, online learning, flexible learning centres. How this movement can work with the church to bring about cultural renewal. Distinguished guests – announced on the night!
