And you thought the US election was over

Who’s in denial now?

Unhappy democrats have started a Twitter campaign and petition to change the election result on December 19th by convincing Republicans in the electoral college to vote for Hillary instead. I think the plan is to riot, throw a hissy fit, and hope everyone “comes to their senses”. Things are not just crazy in the US, in Australia, the media coverage of the US election has been so politically purified that five and six year old’s at a daycare centre were caught chanting death threats about Donald Trump and the after-school club has decided to do “art therapy” to help them cope.

Hillary Clinton was horrified that Donald Trump might not accept the election result. Now that her fans are rioting in the streets many people look forward to her telling them how much they are “denigrating democracy“.  Right now there are really only two people who could stop most of the violence if they made an impassioned public plea for their fans to respect the democratic process, and rule of law. Where are their responses?

Make Hillary President on December 19th

….

The popular vote was so popular it seems 3 million people from other countries voted too

The main (only) argument keeping the Clinton-camp’s hopes alive is that she won the popular vote by 600,000 votes. But a study by Greg Phillips of VoteFraud.org suggests as many as 3 million votes were cast by illegal immigrants. Who knows, Trump may have won the popular vote if there had been ID checks, something the Democrats do everything they can to stop. Indeed Obama even explained before the election that non-citizens should get out vote. Snopes has tried to claim this is false, but even their “in context” quote shows Obama was responding to a question about “undocumented citizens” and people at risk of being deported. There are apparently 4 million dead people on U.S. voter rolls, and the Democrats don’t want them to stop voting either.

The @realDonaldTrump  tweeted “If the election were based on total popular vote I would have campaigned in N.Y. Florida and California and won even bigger and more easily”

Past presidents that won with lower percentages of the popular vote than Trump (47%)  include Abraham Lincoln (39%), Woodrow Wilson (42%), and Bill Clinton (43%).

Elect Hillary. December 19th. Last Chance.

PS: I know some commenters are over the US election, so I’ll try get climate and science based stories running on the same days.

shut down the ABC. can hardly believe this false narrative. the election result should not have been unexpected, if MSM were analysing the polls, instead of reporting them at face value.

Donald Trump’s views on women? what are they, Ms Guthrie? obviously, something different to you than to all the women who voted for him. Clinton “one of the most qualified”! says who?

talk about living inside an MSM bubble:

16 Nov: SMH: Nick Toscano: ABC boss Michelle Guthrie calls Trump victory a ‘bruising experience’ for women
ABC managing director Michelle Guthrie has described Donald Trump’s shock US election win as a “bruising experience for women everywhere”.
Ms Guthrie, the public broadcaster’s first female managing director and one of the nation’s most influential businesswomen, said she had been thinking a lot about the ***unexpected election result and what it meant for women.
“We need to consider what it means when Mr Trump, a candidate ***whose views on women are so well-known in the public space, can defeat Hillary Clinton – not just the first woman endorsed by a major party to run for president, but who is also one of ***the most qualified candidates in US history,” she said.
“For women in the workplace, sometimes it .. becomes more about character attributes rather than performance or capability.”
Speaking at the Telstra Australian Business Women’s awards on Wednesday night, Ms Guthrie said the election result must not simply be attributed to the political parties failing to engage with disenchanted voters in the new economy.
She said the experiences of Ms Clinton and other high-profile female political leaders revealed women continued to be subjected to gender stereotypes, such as being “too cold, too reactive, too shrill, too ambitious”.
“Hillary Clinton was ‘not trustworthy or physically healthy enough to meet the demands of the job’, and this was despite the years she served as secretary of state with all the gruelling travel and high-pressure meetings,” she said.
“Former prime minister Julia Gillard was treated similarly…
Concluding her speech, Ms Guthrie implored women not to “feel beaten” by the US election result…

As Christopher (Lord) Monckton warned in the video he produced calling on Australians to watch the back of our then PM Tony Abbott who Monckton warned was under attack from leftists internationally and nationally.

        His warning proved accurate.

          Dennis,
Mr Abbott was replaced NOT as a result of some international team work but as a result of failing poll numbers which reduced his chicken hearted Liberal Party colleagues to a quivering mess of spineless toadies who ran to Lord Malcolm Pollywaffle to be saved.
The polls, which like models in science have some limited purpose but only if they reflect the observations, have returned to ordinary for the LNP and Lord Pollywaffle The Saviour…Worse.
Mr Abbott has always been a target of Australian Leftists and, with his gaining of office, the MSM ranked up the dislike and dread to a Hate and Vilification campaign.
Our Leftists and MSM do not require any international assistance to ramp up a vilification campaign.

If your hypothesis were correct, one would think that that the member for Golden Sacks Wentworth would have been replaced by now, having polling numbers worse than Abbott ever had.
Polls and their construction are a bit like voting in a totalitarian State. It’s not the people who vote that count; it’s the people that count the votes.
The Pickering Post has a novel idea.
Not that I think that a Liberal victory at the next election is a solution, but if that were a good idea there is only one person with the wisdom and strategic thinking to pull it off.
I would much rather see her lead a “make Australia Great Again” campaign from an amalgamation of One Nation and the ALA and Bernardi’s Australian Conservatives.

As an American, I can tell Ms Guthrie that it is that Ms Clinton’s tenure as SecState is the primary reason I would have voted for a mangy yellow dog if it would have kept her out of the White House.

It is clear to me from her résumé that she is a realized ethical void.

I think it’s not just an ethical void in the case of Hillary Clinton. It’s totally devoid of any heart, soul and humanity when you can ignore the safety of people for whom you have that direct, indisputable responsibility. And for her to afterward pretend that her hands are free of blood because of the death of four Americans on her watch, one of whom was the President’s personal representative to the Libyan government, is an outrage that should not go unpunished. And she ignored her responsibility because to do the right thing would buck the party line and President Obama, mere personal convenience. And that tells all there is to tell about the character of Hillary Clinton.

She would be hurting were I in charge of her disposition. There is not a prison sentence long enough for her.

And then there is President Obama whose responsibility was to make sure his Secretary of State was carrying out her responsibility correctly. And he will be untouchable even if President Trump can manage to hold Hillary accountable. He deserves every bit of what Hillary does and won’t see one minute of it.

As I’ve pointed out, the third-party candidates (principally Evan McMullin and Gary Johnson) collected about 2.7 million votes.

Now, I would NEVER suggest that if those candidates had not been running, these voters would have voted Trump. They voted for declared ‘libertarian’ (small-government) types, not for ‘big-government’ Hitllery.

Whatever the margin, Donald Trump may not have taken the popular vote, but neither did Hitllery. And what is the margin of fraudulent/illegal votes? Heaven only knows, but whatever it was, Hitllery’s “total” is not a winning number.

    End of story.

The final votes counted will not be certified until all challenges are completed and the various Secretaries of State for each State finalizes the results. There’s a big issue in North Carolina with what appears to be a significant amounts of voter fraud.

And don’t forget, the States that hold absentee ballots and count them after election day (a resources issues) will not even open them to be counted if they would not effect the results. Example, if all candidates win by election day counted votes that exceed the number of absentee ballots, the absentee ballots are NOT counted. Historically, absentee ballots break 2/3rds for the Republican candidate.

And, speaking of the Margin of Fraud, considering an estimated 3 million illegals voted, you would have to reduce the number of Clinton votes by about 2+ percent.

And, if you total the House of Representatives races, the Republicans won by over 3 million nationwide.

What’s interesting is, arguably the best President (Lincoln) had the smallest percentage of those that won the Presidency.

“There’s already more than enough evidence out there raising serious questions about the vote counts in the states that delivered the presidency to Donald Trump. These include discrepancies between the media’s unadjusted exit polls and the later reported winners; the pattern of Trump winning by the largest margins in counties using paperless machines in Wisconsin; some of these same counties report turnout at 85 percent or more; screenshots of county vote totals show the total votes tallied as several thousand more than ballots cast”.
[Institute for Public Accuracy – “Exit Polls Sow Doubt About the Vote Count”, November 23, 2016]

So, if the officially sanctioned (but non-verifiable) method of counting votes does not agree with the informal, but desired, result, which one should take precedence?

And which party was against having paper records produced by the voting machines?

Seriously, you could not make this stuff up.

    Here’s some number-crunching that’s done right:

From George Mason U. and Old Dominion U.

“We find that there is reason to believe non-citizen voting changed one state’s Electoral College votes in 2008, delivering North Carolina to Obama, and that non-citizen votes have also led to Democratic victories in congressional races including a critical 2008 Senate race [Al Franken’s] that delivered for Democrats a 60-vote filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.”

That’s “after-the-fact”, not predictive (although it sure as hell does predict the future if we don’t get our ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), CBP (Customs and Border Protection) and regular law enforcement back to, at the very least, enforcing the laws currently on our books).

    URL: http://dianawest.net/Home/tabid/36/EntryId/3432/Correction-Hillary-Clinton-Won-the-Illegal-Vote.aspx

BTW, although she only posts about once a week (very short posts) you all should bookmark her site. She also wrote “American Betrayal”, a book everyone here should read about the Soviet incursion into our government before, during and after WW II. It was far worse than anyone believes. A real eye-opener. She also has some remarkable videos up on UTube).

You are correct. When 100 or more ballots were conveniently found in the trunk of a poll worker’s car and every last vote in that batch was for Franken, what do you think are the odds of that being honest?

I should mention the really big elephant in the room, that those ballots were outside the chain of custody one would ordinarily require for transport of ballots from the voting location to where they would be counted. Who knows who actually cast those votes?

But it got worse than that with the counting degenerating into trying to determine the voter’s intent when, in fact the ballot in question was simply spoiled and should have been ignored with respect to an office or measure that was ambiguous about the voter’s choice.

An election, by its very nature is completely objective. The voter’s intent must be clear and unambiguous. Otherwise you cannot count the vote. Trying to figure out what the voter intended is entirely subjective and automatically suspected of bias of all kinds. And it has the integrity of our elections in ruins.

This is just like Brexit. The establishment will fight this all the way down to the wire – and probably beyond.

They claim to support democracy but, as recent actions have shown, they only support it when it provides the answers they want. After that there are protests, petitions, lots of outraged and bewildered supporters having meltdowns followed by legal actions and proposed rule changes that mean the establishment will get the last word.

Wanting to change the rules after the vote is popular. For Brexit, more people voted for it that have voted for anything else, ever, in the UK. That was not good enough. Trump, may not have achieved an overall majority but I believe he got a higher percentage than Bill Clinton. Anyway, that is not how the US system works. So the losers want to change the system.

We just have to accept that the establishment are very bad losers. Maybe that is why people don’t want them in power?

With Washington DC returning less than 4.1% in favour of the prevailing candidate the very levers of big government are controlled by Democrat supporters.

As an example the scandal concerning the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) putting on endless hold Tea Party groups applying for tax exempt status started years ago. The IRS was caught red-handed. Votes need to be more properly weighted for these important elections (brexit/presidential election etc)

Obviously those over 60 are in their dotage and should get only 0.5 of a vote. Those below 25 should automatically get that 0.5 added to their 1 vote, but in addition those with a degree should get another 0.5 of a vote

As those who lose, but voted the ‘right way’ are obviously correct and are the sort of citizens we need, so they should get another 0.5 whereas those who voted the ‘wrong way’ through ignorance and lack of understanding of the facts should get 0.5 deducted.

Its complex but fair, It seems that if you are over 60 and vote the wrong way you should get no vote. Those under 25 who vote the right way and have a phd will therefore get 2 votes. Surely this is only right and just?

Someone who knows the American electoral system better than I can confirm, or not, something I read.

The electoral college is set up in that way so as to ensure that no single populous state can predominate over numerous smaller ones.

If the electoral college votes give a clear cut winner, as with Trump, the ‘absentee’ votes (cast primarily by the Military and citizens overseas etc )are not counted. These traditionally greatly favour the Republicans. So if ALL absentee votes were counted Trump would have won by several million.

It seems a shame that ALL votes (including absentee ones) are not counted as that would give a definitive answer as to who won the popular vote. If your vote is not counted, in effect you have been disenfranchised.

However, the current system is the electoral college and people should not try to alter it after the event because they don’t like the result.

If they want to try to amend it for future elections that is their prerogative.

      Tonyb,

You’re absolutely right about how and why the electoral college was set up. I sent a brief explanation to my son at college this morning, and looked up some stats to include in the email.

California is the most populous state in the USA, with over 12% of the US population (based on, I think, 2015 population estimates.Texas comes in a distant second, with 8.6% of the population).

There are 21 states that have a cumulative population of less than 12%. In other words, in a purely popular vote, the popular vote of California by itself could be sufficient to override the vote of 21 other states combined (assuming for simplicity that all the California votes go one way and all of the other states go the other). California and New York, combined, would override the vote of at least 26 states, or over half the states in the USA. Than hardly seems fair.

The Aus House of Reps electorates are not equally populated – ie. one-man-one vote is not the status quo, despite the rhetoric from the AEC (who from my viewpoint are still under high suspicion of skulduggery in the WA Senate missing vote bundle, 2013 election). The distribution of seats is in fact designed to ameliorate the “tyranny of the majority”.

And the Aus Senate ? It was deliberately designed to neutralize tyranny of the majority. One may imagine that this is of little consequence, but the Senate has the power to defer or refuse Supply and obviously did so in 1975. Quashing this power is the real motivation in the “Republic” push – losers changing the rules if they can.

Just a matter of the Senate blocking supply in 1975. The senate did not get around to actually blocking Supply. It was deferred or delayed and Mr Fraser continued to state his Senate team would actually block but this delay tactic was continue by Senate Leader Mr Withers. But they did not get around to Blocking. On the day Mr Whitlan went to the GG he expected to be able to call for a half senate election(not a House of Reps one and get the GG approval but was instead sacked and then all the hullabaloo went down.

It might very well be at the discretion of the election officials. If any race within a jurisdiction is ‘close’, then the official(s) might well be obligated to break any deadlock with the absentee/early ballots.

Living in Portland, Oregon, the epicenter of anti-Trump rioting I can tell you that I expected nothing less. This city coddles its crazies for the simple reason they are politically useful. They are there for when they are needed.
    .
The smashed windows, the smashed cars, all the other property damage, the bottles and bricks thrown at police — the few that will be arrested will be punished by a slap on the wrist.
    .
One investigative reporter (I sometimes think Portland has only one investigative reporter and he only works part-time) ran names through the voter files and found that 60% of the rioters searched did not even vote in the election or were not even registered to vote. Many were not residents of Portland and some not even residents of Oregon.
    .
Some cities work to increase the number of tourists. Portland works to increase the number of rioters. That is what their policies do. Anti-social behavior that is not punished will only increase. The Left knows that.

Throughout the election we were told that it was Trump who could win the popular vote yet lose in the electoral college, when the opposite turned out to be true , with hindsight it seems obvious that was always the case when you think about it , the opinion polls just before the election had Clinton with a small lead of one or two million of the popular vote but she had huge leads in the heavily populated states of New York and California , you only have to win by one vote to win a state so when you win a state by millions of votes they are wasted because meanwhile your opponents are more even spread in all the remaining , which meant outside of New York and California Trump must of had a lead of several million in the popular vote , a little like a premier football match , it doesn’t matter if you win a game 1-0 0r 6-0 , you only get 3 points for the win

Trump may have won the popular vote anyway, once it’s all said and done. That would be despite all the Dem’s cheating. See:

When Nikita Khrushchev raised his clenched fist and said to America, “We will bury you,” he wasn’t talking about a shooting war with the U.S. We entirely missed his point, which was, subversion.

That subversion started before Khrushchev’s time, early in the 20th Century and continues to this day. Take a look at this, this and this and tell me the NEA was not in the thick of the subversion of America more than 100 years ago. Centralizing education was the key to controlling it and the Department of Education is anything but about education.

Education was the first thing to be grabbed and controlled, centralized and used to subvert the America I know and love. And we now see the result.

If the Electoral College should turn around and all the electors vote for Hillary it will be perfectly legal and she will be president. There is no way to change the decision they make when they vote. As I have said before, it all depends on honesty, a commodity that appears to be in very short supply in this year of our Lord two thousand sixteen.

Our only hope is that every one pledged to Donald Trump will remain honest and vote as they promised the voters they would.

If they do as they’re now being urged to do I fear for even greater violence in America as those who did not want Hillary begin to think it’s better to fight for real than to sit back and take it.

And there is nowhere left that anyone can run to so as to escape it.

Is the fight ultimately won or lost? And I have no idea until we see what happens. But at least it’s in our favor that Donald Trump’s supporters are very committed.

And this isn’t about winning the popular vote anyway. It’s about winning any way you can. They don’t care, they just want what they want, Hillary as president. It’s all about staying in power so you can get things your way instead of someone else’s way.

The Constitution’s way hasn’t suited the American left for a long time already so restoring the Constitution is anathema to them. And neither has common sense nor the stark reality of their past failures and present serious problems penetrated their heads.

I wonder what the thinking process is inside the minds of such people. It has to be a malfunction of some kind.

Last night I watched part of the interview Trump’s data guy on the Fox Kelly File. From I could gather he did not have a polling background –just knew how to analyse data very well. He said he was very confident Trump would win a week before and by the weekend was extremely confident.

Later I watched Australia’s Sky with David Spears and Greg Sheridan(?) –“The Australian” political editor and a lady whose name I’ve forgotten. They were discussing Trump.
The arrogance of Sheridan was amazing saying things like :” they clearly didn’t expect to win”
” they are not prepared”, “looking at who he is appointing it looks like the Republican’s team B” etc. Even Spears looked embarrassed by some of what was said.
These guys clearly don’t get it —Donald Trump has got there by throwing out the normal play book. He is not your normal career politician so we should all expect him to do things differently , which is what his voters want.

Just looking at the headlines, online this morning, they all indicate that the media think that it should be political business as usual or they they are terrified of change.Something tells me they should stock up on anti depressant pills for January, as I think Donald Trump is wisely being polite and not saying much at the moment. But when he gets behind the desk in January the turbo boosters will go on.

PS. Yesterday I saw a video of an interview he gave in recent days. They were discussing the Middle East situation. He acknowledged that many of the leaders were not “nice” people but he said something like –” Imagine if the politicians 10-15 years ago had not done anything about the ME. You know, they all went to the beach. What would the ME look like today? Would we have ISIS , Al Qaeda, the immigration issues, the terrorist attacks on Europe ?” The interviewers were completely lost –it was like a light bulb moment for them.

. . as I think Donald Trump is wisely being polite and not saying much at the moment.

      Agreed.
In an interview about ISIS he said he’d never make a public announcement about planned action in advance and thus alert the enemy.
I suspect he’ll take the same approach with internal Democrat insurgents when in the White House.

I’m afraid that fixing what’s broken will take longer, much longer than the term of one president even if Trump is reelected. And at that point, 4 or 8 years hence, the whole thing is up for grabs again. And Trump will face opposition we haven’t even heard from yet. The mayors of Los Angeles and San Francisco vowing to fight him and remain sanctuary cities is only the beginning.

They have made too much progress toward their goal to give up just because of the election of Donald Trump.

I’ve been thinking about this problem for some time in anticipation of Trump’s victory if it happened. And we all have our work cut out for us.

Do they get Federal money? Either directly or through the State?

      50

      • #
        Roy Hogue

        Graeme,

The constitution more or less prohibits the federal government from interfering with each state’s internal affairs unless some federal crime is involved. For instance, local corruption can be investigated by the FBI and prosecuted as a federal crime. But generally each state can do much as it pleases, which does not please those who think DC can order everyone’s life much better than local government or the individual can. So here’s what they do. They tax everyone, taking away money from the people and the state they live in but then offer to give it back in the form of grants for highway construction, running the schools, etc., etc. BUT… …and it’s a very big but. “You can only get this money if you follow these guidelines, implement this program…” or do whatever DC wants you to do. You don’t get a free lunch from Uncle Sam.

As you can guess, the states are always hungry for money so they fall into the trap, take the money and then toe the line as DC orders them to do so they keep the money coming.

So yes, cities through the state or directly from DC do get money from the federal government. And they are, as you can easily suspect, very much dependent on that money because getting those federal dollars allows them to shunt local revenue off to do other things, much of which would never be approved of by sensible voters.

This influence by attaching requirements to grants for various purposes is very pernicious. And it has been used to great effect to gain control over schools. Only Rick Perry, when governor of Texas, told them, “The Texas school system is not for sale,” when it came to common core. So Texas effectively told them where to go with their money and their Common Core.

I suspect that cutting off all federal money to any city that continues be a sanctuary city will hurt and badly. But I wonder if it will stop the practice of ignoring immigration status and requests to turn over incarcerated aliens when they have been caught. No one keeps on going with more determination than a fanatic bent on setting the world to rights.

The other side of this same coin has some benefits. For instance, with travel by automobile across state lines now being so common it’s very desirable to have a uniform vehicle code across all the states or at least have the actual rules of the road be uniform even if other details are not. But DC can’t legally dictate a new vehicle code to the states. What they can do is offer money for highway construction under the condition that the state receiving the money adopt the desired vehicle code standards. So there is now a nice uniform set of traffic rules across most of the USA, a very good thing by the way.

I am encouraging EVERY democrat electorate for Clinton to VOTE SANDERS.

Why, because the party choose to disenfranchise him. They choose to be devious and corrupt.

Those protest votes for Sanders would resonate for years to come. It jus might improve their party.

These fools are beyond a joke. The election is over as we all know and Obama and Clinton have admitted defeat and the transition to the new Presidency has already started. Nothing but a major incident will stop it. This nonsense about stopping Trump becoming President if successful will only lead to a complete breakdown of democracy in the US. It won’t happen though for one very important reason – Trump himself. Trump will not take this attempt to stop him without a fight. It’s that simple. The fools think he can be bullied out of Presidency. He simply won’t be. Apart from the 60+ million voters who supported Trump I bet most of the 60+ million who voted for Clinton will support Trump’s fight plus there are those who didn’t vote at all – most of them probably will also support Trump becoming President on Jan 20. So these fools who are trying to stop Trump becoming President have a real fight on their hands if they want to continue. The fools will fail miserably, and deservedly so. No one in their right mind wants the US to stop being a democracy. All hell would break loose if it did.

similar questions need to be addressed to ABC:

16 Nov: Fox News: Newt Gingrich: Seven questions for the New York Times
On Sunday, the publisher and the executive editor of the New York Times published a letter to the paper’s readers, promising to “rededicate” the paper to its “fundamental mission”. That mission, they said, is to “report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor, striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences in the stories that we bring to you.”
This is as close as the Times is likely to come to apologizing to its readers for a year and a half of unbalanced–and often unhinged-coverage of the presidential race…
The paper wrote stories that were unrelentingly hostile to Trump and his supporters.
It allowed reporters to include their personal opinions and political analysis in news coverage.
It allowed political reporters to spew their animosity to Trump on social media…
It published stories about Trump in which it distorted the accounts of interviewees, according to the subjects’ own testimony.
It published front page stories and editorials with headlines that accused Trump of “lying”–but never so characterized any of Hillary Clinton’s well-documented lies…
Before readers take the paper at its word, they should ask its leadership some of the following questions:
    1. Does the Times have any reporters, editors, or columnists who will say they voted for Trump, and has it hired any new ones?…READ ON

15 Nov: Fox News: Sean Hannity: Trump must ignore the media and trust his gut
The abusively biased mainstream media that got the election completely wrong and was so out of touch with the American people is now attacking and trying to discredit President-elect Donald Trump’s picks for key White House posts…
Here’s my advice to President-elect Donald Trump: When it comes to the media, don’t listen. Ignore the haters. These are the same people who, as WikiLeaks exposed, were openly colluding with Hillary Clinton’s campaign in violation of every ethical standard they are supposed to honor and uphold.
We also found out that the mainstream media is really a tool the alt-radical left uses to advance their agenda…
    He must ignore them…
Finally, President Obama is trying to make nice with President-elect Trump. Yet, he then purposely tried to undermine Trump’s presidency on the world stage…

15 Nov: Buzzfeed: Sheera Frenkel: Renegade Facebook Employees Form Task Force To Battle Fake News
The group is hoping to challenge the position by CEO Mark Zuckerberg that the platform has no responsibility to address the issue following the election of Donald Trump.
SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook employees have formed an unofficial task force to question the role their company played in promoting fake news in the lead-up to Donald Trump’s victory in the US election last week, amid a larger, national debate over the rise of fake and misleading news articles in a platform used by more than 150 million Americans.
The task force, which sources tell BuzzFeed News includes employees from across the company, has already rebutted a statement made by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg at a conference last week that the argument that fake news on Facebook affected the election was “a pretty crazy idea.”…
One employee said “more than dozens” of employees were involved, and that they had met twice in the last six days. At the moment, they are meeting in secret, to allow members of the group to speak freely and without fear of condemnation from senior management…
The New York Times reported last week that top executives at Facebook have discussed the issue, and that a private Facebook post shared by Zuckerberg last week to a small group of friends and colleagues refuted the idea that Facebook had influenced the elections…
The Facebook employees who spoke to BuzzFeed News stressed that they were not trying to “take sides” over who won the elections…
“If someone is right-wing, and all their friends are right-wing, and that is the news they share on Facebook, then that is the bubble they have created for themselves and that is their right,” said the longtime Facebook engineer. “But to highlight fake news articles in the [news] feed, to promote them so they get millions of shares by people who think they are real, that’s not something we should allow to happen. Facebook is getting played by people using us to spread their bullshit.”

15 Nov: LA Times: Jessica Roy: Want to keep fake news out of your newsfeed? College professor creates list of sites to avoid
During the election, many people fell prey to fake news stories on social media — even the president-elect ended up retweeting fake statistics. A professor of communication has created a list of unreliable news sites to help people do better.
Melissa Zimdars, an assistant professor of communication at Merrimack College in Massachusetts, put together a publicly available Google doc cataloging “False, misleading, clickbait-y and satirical ‘news’ sources.” It’s been making the rounds on social media as people seek to cleanse their newsfeeds of misinformation…
Breitbart, the “platform for the alt-right” whose chairman was just named Trump’s chief strategist, is on there, as is InfoWars. Alex Jones, who runs InfoWars, said Trump personally called to thank him for helping him win the election…
Both Facebook and Google have recently announced they will take steps to block fake news sites from accessing their advertising services.
UPDATE, 10:03 p.m.: The list was updated by its creator after this post was published. We have updated the image on the story to reflect the more recent version.

    lol.

14 July: Wired: Clinton Has a Team of Silicon Valley Stars. Trump Has Twitter.
Clinton’s tech team is already shaping up to be the largest in campaign history, and possibly the smartest. With the general election four months away, Hannon has assembled a team of more than 50 engineers and developers who left lucrative careers at places like Google, Facebook, and Twitter to help code Clinton’s way to more votes, more dollars, and, if all goes according to plan, the White House…
While Donald Trump has used the cable news cycle and social media masterfully to garner attention over the last year, he only hired an in-house digital director last month. And that, people familiar with the campaign say, is about the extent of his tech team…
Yet, as with so much else this election cycle, a niggling doubt remains: maybe the conventional wisdom is wrong. Maybe you don’t need to spend all this money on industrial-grade tech to become president. Maybe you just need a killer Twitter feed. Yet even if that’s true—and it probably isn’t—Trump’s tech deficit presents a bigger problem for Republicans. The GOP has persistently lagged Democrats when it comes to good tech tools. The Trump campaign’s apathy may only leave the party farther behind…

16 Nov: WashingtonFreeBeacon: Joe Schoffstall: Google’s Eric Schmidt Wore ‘Staff’ Badge at Hillary Clinton Election Night Party
Hacked memo revealed Schmidt was working directly with the Clinton campaign
Eric Schmidt, the executive chairman of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, Inc., was spotted at Hillary Clinton’s “victory” party last Tuesday wearing a staff badge, according to a picture (LINK) recently submitted (LINK) to Politico.
Google came under fire earlier this year for allegedly altering search results to paint Hillary Clinton in a more favorable light than Donald Trump. Schmidt stated at the time that Google did not pick sides in the presidential race…
Despite this assurance, Schmidt provided funding to a tech startup called The Groundwork, one of the Clinton campaign’s biggest vendors.
Michael Slaby, the Obama campaign’s chief integration and innovation officer, developed The Groundwork through a company he co-founded called Timshel. The Clinton campaign paid the group $600,000 throughout the election cycle.
Following WikiLeaks’ release of hacked emails from the Clinton campaign, the Washington Free Beacon discovered that Schmidt was doing more than funding a Clinton campaign vendor—he was working with the campaign on its technology strategy.
The revelation was contained in a memo sent by Robby Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager, to Cheryl Mills, David Plouffe, and John Podesta on Oct. 26, 2014. The memo’s author was Teddy Goff, Clinton’s former chief digital strategist. It was addressed to Clinton…READ ALL

Tired of the ongoing “argument” that Clinton won the popular vote – true or not who the hell cares? That’s not how their voting system works – I wonder why they even have it? If the Presidential position is won by the electoral vote then that is what matters any other argument is moot. Those who felt hard done by just need to get over it. If you didn’t vote then sux to be you if you did then you lost – get over it. The other 2/3rds of the American population who chose not to vote – you had the chance to be heard and you chose not to – learn from that for the next election.

15 Nov: The Lantern: Protester tackled at anti-Trump rally ‘working to drop the charges’
By Nick Roll, Kevin Stankiewicz, Jacob Myers and Daniel Smyth
Tim Adams, the protester who was tackled inside the Ohio Union during a Monday night rally protesting President-elect Donald Trump, announced on Tuesday that he is seeking to drop the charges of assault filed against Shane Michael Stanton, the student who tackled him.
In a public Facebook post, Adams said the decision came after “it was clear that my assault was not politically motivated in the way that we previously thought, nor was it committed by a Trump supporter.”
Adams, a lead organizer with International Socialist Organization-Columbus…blah blah
Stanton’s mother confirmed to The Columbus Dispatch on Tuesday evening that her son has Asperger Syndrome, a developmental condition on the higher-functioning end of the autism spectrum. People with Asperger Syndrome often struggle with social, sensory and communication skills. Friends of Stanton told The Lantern late Monday evening that his condition might have been a factor in his actions…

The Columbus branch of the International Socialists Organization, which organized the rally, released the following statement on Tuesday, which reads, in part:
“Because there were several individual Trump supporters heckling the crowd throughout the night, because of the nature of the statements the man yelled as he tackled Tim, and, given the reports and experiences of violence and threats of violence from right-wing individuals across the country and at OSU, most witnesses reasonably assumed the assailant was a Trump supporter. Initially, with the information available, Tim felt it was important that white nationalists not be further emboldened by this action and decided to pursue criminal charges in the hopes that it might play some role in protecting movement activists from similar or potentially worse harm in the future.
“Since last night, however, we have learned that the man, an OSU student, is not a right-wing activist and was himself upset by the Trump election. We have received further information we will not disclose to protect the man’s privacy, but which has made us confident he should not face charges for the action.
“Tim and other ISO members are in the process of reaching out to police, prosecutors, and this student’s family and friends to have charges dropped immediately and to ensure his quick release from jail.”…

By Katie Ferrell and Associated Press
The self-described Socialist said he was talking to the crowd about how the election has inspired violence when an apparent Trump supporter ran down the stairs and tackled him to the ground in the Ohio Union…blah blah
***(FINAL LINE) According to the Franklin County Board of Elections, Stanton is registered to vote as a Democrat.

    Guardian doubles down:

15 Nov: Breitbart: Guardian Newspaper declares War on Donald Trump
    by Thomas D. Williams PH.D
After stumping for Hillary Clinton throughout the 2016 election, the British left-wing Guardian newspaper has now openly declared war on Donald Trump, and is soliciting donations in order to “hold the new administration to account.”
In an online ad attached to news articles, the Guardian alleges that Trump will be an enemy of freedom of the press and proclaims itself the sentinel that will hold him accountable.
Titled, “When politicians defy belief…,” the ad promises that the Guardian will offer “journalism that defies politicians,” meaning specifically Donald Trump.
“President-elect Donald Trump has threatened to weaken first amendment protections for reporters. He has said he will sue news organisations. He has labelled the press ‘dishonest’ and ‘scum’,” the paper states…
As many observers have noted, the biggest losers in the election was the establishment media, whose credibility has sunk to an all-time low…

17 Nov: ABC: Turnbull relied on Greg Norman to tee up Trump call
Frantic efforts by the Australian Government on the night of the US election to secure a number for Donald Trump culminated in golfing great Greg Norman providing ambassador Joe Hockey with the President-elect’s personal mobile number.

An interesting article by Brandon Smith of alt-market who thinks that Trump was set up to win the election and fail as a president (by giving the elite the excuse for the economic crash that is grossly overdue).

The good things he sees forthcoming are
    – The Death Of The Mainstream Media
    – The Crippling Of Social Justice Warriors
    – The End Of Mainstream Polling
    – Liberty Groups Will Get Some Breathing Room (For A Little While)

But he sees The Final Stage Of Economic Collapse being cast as the fault of Trump and conservatives.

Trump and conservatives are being set up by the elites for a final financial flagellation

    http://www.alt-market.com/articles/3061-world-suffers-from-trump-shell-shock-heres-what-will-happen-next

I hope he ends up wrong about the gullibility of the masses. It seems to contradict his prediction about the death of the MSM.

Here’s his statement about the upcoming economic calamity (that I have been endlessly boring people about on this blog). But he sees it as a tool that has been engineered by globalists to destroy nations before the rebuild under global governance. I seriously hope he is wrong and that the left are just dumb and greedy.

The elites need a geopolitical disaster so overwhelming that all economic changes taking place in the background go completely unnoticed. They also need to set themselves up as the prognosticators and rescuing heroes in the midst of the coming chaos

    http://www.alt-market.com/articles/2403-the-economic-end-game-explained

His premise is that if you think like a globalist, then you can accurately predict political and economic events and cites his past success with Federal Reserve taper of QE, the inclusion of China in the IMF’s Special Drawing Rights years in advance, the exact timing of the first Fed rate hike, the success of the Brexit referendum, that the Saudi 9/11 bill would pass, that Barack Obama would veto it and that congress would override his veto, that Hillary Clinton would be the Democratic candidate, that Donald Trump would be the Republican candidate and finally, that Donald Trump would win the 2016 election.

Depressing but well worth reading. I’m looking at gold again.

Help me with the logic here. My analytic mind has just gone areel. Since the press was present when JFK and Reagan were shot, that would mean that their presence didn’t stop these horrific occurrences.
Combine that historical fact with the open hostility of the press toward Trump. One would logically conclude that that press could in fact serve as a conduit of information about the itinerary of the President…

What’s ironic about this whole deal is that the Democrats are basically pushing the narrative that, “your votes don’t count,” to build resentment against the electoral college and try to work their way into the Whitehouse on a technicality.

In reality, Trump won the popular vote in 33 out of the 50 states, and the electorates are usually bound to the results in each state; if the electoral college goes against the will of the people in each of their states, then truly, the popular vote doesn’t mean anything. It would be a tragedy against US democracy.

    Obviously, correlation is NOT causation.

    1) More than one state has (or has had) instances of the dead voting.

    2) Uniformly, these deceased voters vote Democrat.

    3) By definition, one who is deceased is also brain-dead.

    4) Brain-dead people vote Democrat.

The problem with illegals voting in the US is not going to go away with Voter ID. That is because some states, notably california where CLinton got all her votes from, allow illegals to possess the requisite ID. There is no designation on the ID that says they are a citizen or not.

It is for that very reason that the EC will not go away. While California now joins Illinois as the states with as many illegal votes as real votes, they at least still only play a limited roll in the election of the president. And the other 48 states know this. And are not going to change so that they become superfluous.

first, Michigan should have been called for Trump last week. second, Detroit News predicted Clinton win but, to their credit, they are reporting this:

17 Nov: Detroit News: Michael Banerian: In face of death threats, I’m still voting for Trump
First, the effort to convince Electors from Michigan to vote for someone other than Donald Trump is fruitless. Michigan law does not allow “Faithless Electors.” If an Elector were to cast a vote for anyone besides Donald Trump, the vote would be void and the Elector would be replaced…
(Michael Banerian is a Presidential Elector for Michigan and youth vice chair for the Michigan Republican Party)
    http://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/2016/11/17/face-death-threats-still-voting-trump/94004744/

17 Nov: Detroit News: Michael Gerstein: Michigan electors cite threats over Trump vote
VIDEO: 6min35secs: Mike Banerian, youth chair of the Michigan Republican Party and an official elector obligated to cast his electoral vote for President-elect Donald Trump, sets the record straight about his role in the electoral process.

On Dec. 19, the 22-year-old Banerian is scheduled to join 15 other Michiganians to cast their electoral votes for Republican President-elect Donald Trump. But Trump’s opponents have deluged Banerian and other GOP electors with pleas and nasty emails to reverse course and cast their ballots for Clinton, according to the Michigan Republican Party.
“You have people saying ‘you’re a hateful bigot, I hope you die,’ ” he said. “I’ve had people talk about shoving a gun in my mouth and blowing my brains out. And I’ve received dozens and dozens of those emails. Even the non-threatening-my-life emails are very aggressive.”
The Detroit News verified one message containing a death wish and another containing a death threat, in which the person told Banerian he would “put a bullet” in his mouth. Banerian said he deleted the rest of the emails and messages “because as you can imagine they’re clogging up my email.”
“Even if I could, I wouldn’t be remotely interested in changing my vote,” said Banerian, a political science senior at Oakland University and youth vice chair of the Michigan Republican Party. “The people of Michigan spoke, and it’s our job to deliver that message.”…
Casting a vote for Trump in the Michigan Senate’s chambers will show there are members of the millennial generation born since 1980 who still have confidence in the electoral system, Banerian said…
Another elector, Kenneth Crider, said he hasn’t received any death threats or intimidating emails but has gotten more than 300 emails from people in other states asking him to vote for Clinton instead of Trump on Dec. 19.
The 51-year-old heating and air conditioning professional from Livonia said many of the emails were from teachers and professors trying to explain to him the gravity of the situation, urging him to change his mind.
But he said he has firm support for Trump.
“I’m 100 percent behind Donald Trump,” Crider said.
Trump won by a little more than 13,100 votes in Michigan, according to unofficial results scheduled to be certified by Nov. 28. Michigan law requires the state’s 16 electors to cast their votes for the presidential candidate who wins the majority of voters, said Secretary of State spokesman Fred Woodhams.
Even if Banerian or another elector had a change of heart, other Michigan electors would just cast another vote for Trump, according to the Secretary of State’s office…ETC

17 Nov: Politico: Obama to anti-Trump protesters: Don’t be silent
    By Brent Griffiths
President Barack Obama has little sympathy for President-elect Donald Trump when it comes to the protests against him, and he offered up some advice for his successor: Get used to it.
“I’ve been the subject of protests during the course of my eight years,” Obama said at a joint news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Thursday. “And I suspect that there’s not a president in our history that hasn’t been subject to these protests. So, I would not advise people who feel strongly or who are concerned about some of the issues that have been raised during the course of the campaign, I wouldn’t advise them to be silent.”…

didn’t hear u condemning the Athens police, Obama:

16 Nov: UPI: Athens police, protesters clash in anti-American demonstrations
    By Sarah Mulé
Police in Athens said they used tear gas and stun grenades to quell violent demonstrators who took to the streets overnight to protest against the United States and a visit by President Barack Obama.
Leftist groups clashed with police Tuesday night, some throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails. Nearly 8,000 protesters used the march to speak out against the European Union, NATO and the International Monetary Fund…

roads closed, public gatherings banned – didn’t hear u complaining about that, Obama:

15 Nov: UK Daily Mail: Violent clashes between police and anarchist protesters in Athens as Obama begins his final foreign tour before handing over to Trump
***Major roads were shut down and public gatherings have been banned in Athens ahead of Obama’s visit
Barack Obama’s final foreign tour as U.S. President got off to a frosty start in as members of the presidential guards appeared to shoot him filthy looks as he walked by…
A number of the armed Tsoliades or Evzones soldiers scowled at their guest as he walked alongside President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos as outside the Presidential Mansion in Athens, Greece.
The outgoing President appeared nonplussed by his reception as he kept his chin up and looked straight ahead…

the MSM spin on the visit was mostly positive, naturally.

17 Nov: WashingtonFreeBeacon: Cameron Cawthorne: Anti-Trump Protesters Release Personal Info of Electoral College Members
A national anti-Donald Trump group called the #NotMyPresident Alliance distributed the personal information of dozens of Electoral College members to its supporters on Wednesday through a Google doc spreadsheet.
The Electoral College members targeted were those who represented states that voted Republican, BuzzFeed reported.
A spreadsheet distributed to supporters Wednesday included the personal phone numbers, addresses, religions, races, genders, and candidate preference of the electors. The document does not have a complete set of data on every elector…
The group color-coded each elector in the spreadsheet according to how likely they are to change their vote based on social media comments and commentary to the press.
Iowa elector ***Kurt Brown told BuzzFeed that he has not “totally committed yet” to his electoral vote. His home address and personal phone number were included in the spreadsheet…
#NotMyPresident Alliance spokesman Jon Gedney defended the spreadsheet, saying that all the released information was publicly available through Google searches. When asked about electors facing potential hacking or harassment, Gedney said there was “no more potential than there was already.”…
    http://freebeacon.com/politics/anti-trump-protesters-release-personal-info-electoral-college-members/

***Kurt Brown is a Republican Ben Carson supporter; Ben Carson supported Trump; and Brown isn’t committed to voting for Trump? and Brown doesn’t seem to have any Twitter account or other social media accounts on which he could be clarifying the above!

10 Nov: Gazette: James Q. Lynch: Iowa’s GOP electors pledge to follow voters’ decision
Most say Trump wasn’t their first choice in caucuses
Nothing they’ve seen or heard since the Feb. 1 first-in-the-nation precinct caucuses and nothing they are likely to hear between now and Dec. 19 when Electoral College electors meet is going to dissuade Iowa’s six GOP electors from voting for their party’s presidential nominee…
Kass, a member of the Plymouth County Board, was also a Republican elector in 2004 “and you wouldn’t believe the bizarre mail I would get from people asking me to change my vote to John Kerry” rather than President George W. Bush.
Kass wouldn’t say who he supported in the caucuses this time around, but none of the other GOP electors said they backed Trump. Whitmer and Alan Braun, a Norwalk physician, backed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. Polly Granzow, a former state representative from Eldora, and Dylan Keller, a University of Northern Iowa student from Donnellson, backed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. Retired O’Brien County Recorder ***Kurt Brown of Primghar was a Ben Carson supporter…
Unlike 23 other states, electors in Iowa aren’t bound to vote for their party’s candidates. Still, there’s little likelihood any one of Iowa’s electors is going to cross party lines…

RedditThe_Donald has a thread: BUZZFEED IS LEADING A HARASSMENT AND DOXXING CAMPAIGN AGAINST ELECTORAL COLLEGE ELECTORS TO TRY AND INTIMIDATE THEM INTO VOTING FOR HILLARY. THIS IS LITERALLY SEDITION.

links to this image/article by Blake Montgomery, who is spearheading the protest coverage at Buzzfeed:
    https://sli.mg/a/CXCXIf

17 Nov: HeatSt: BuzzFeed Helped Hillary Clinton Supporters Dox Members of the Electoral College
    By Lukas Mikelionis
Update: A BuzzFeed spokesperson has responded to the doxing allegations. She claims that “it was not a doxx and just an error” which they were “quick to change”. “Not accurate to say that BuzzFeed helped doxx members of the electoral college,” she added.
BuzzFeed insists that they quickly corrected the error – despite the link to the personal information staying for more than ten hours and issuing no apology after the changes were made to the original article.
The progressive beacon known as BuzzFeed published an article containing electoral college members’ personal information, which Hillary Clinton supporters have used to try to bully them into changing their Trump votes to Clinton votes.
As Heat Street reported earlier, Hillary supporters have been circulating information about the members of the electoral college and are harassing them with calls, Facebook messages, emails, and even home visits to get them to snub Trump and elect Clinton instead.
But BuzzFeed Reporter Blake Montgomery took it to the next level after he published an article “Anti-Trump Protesters Post Personal Information of Electoral College Members” that included a direct link to an online document containing all the information. That in effect, thus doxxed electoral college members to the site’s militant pro-Hillary readership.
The original article had the link containing personal information for roughly 14 hours. The link was ultimately removed, without any explanation or apology. Unfortunately for BuzzFeed, the Internet never forgets and an archived copy of the original article still exists. (We won’t be linking to the archived copy of the article.)

“Fake News MSM”, as one, now go along with “fake news” that an unknown, anti-Trump guy single-handedly won the election for Trump.

Trump supporters are dumb & don’t fact-check but, somehow, ***all his anti-Trump “fake news” was believed…by whom? Clinton supporters one would presume, and she still lost!
u have to read it all:

17 Nov: WaPo: Caitlin Dewey: Facebook fake-news writer: ‘I think Donald Trump is in the White House because of me’
Paul Horner, the 38-year-old impresario of a Facebook fake-news empire, has made his living off viral news hoaxes for several years…
In light of concerns that stories like Horner’s may have affected the presidential election, and in the wake of announcements that both Google and Facebook would take action against deceptive outlets, Intersect called Horner to discuss his perspective on fake news…
WaPo: …Why did something like your story about Obama invalidating the election results (almost 250,000 Facebook shares, as of this writing) go so viral?
Horner: Honestly, people are definitely dumber. They just keep passing stuff around. Nobody fact-checks anything anymore — I mean, that’s how Trump got elected. He just said whatever he wanted, and people believed everything, and when the things he said turned out not to be true, people didn’t care because they’d already accepted it. It’s real scary. I’ve never seen anything like it.

WaPo: You mentioned Trump, and you’ve probably heard the argument, or the concern, that fake news somehow helped him get elected. What do you make of that?
Paul Horner: My sites were picked up by Trump supporters all the time. I think Trump is in the White House because of me. His followers don’t fact-check anything — they’ll post everything, believe anything. His campaign manager posted my story about a protester getting paid $3,500 as fact. Like, I made that up. I posted a fake ad on Craigslist…

WaPo: Speaking of Clinton — did you target fake news at her supporters? Or Gary Johnson’s, for that matter? (Horner’s Facebook picture shows him at a rally for Johnson.)
Paul Horner: No. I hate Trump…
***Paul Horner: …I can write the craziest thing about Trump, and people will believe it. I wrote a lot of crazy anti-Muslim stuff — like about Trump wanting to put badges on Muslims, or not allowing them in the airport, or making them stand in their own line — and people went along with it!

it was widely expected McCrory would be re-elected. even if he isn’t, Republicans will hold governorships in 33 states, the most in nearly a century, which might suggest there’s something suspicious about NC, which Trump won, nonetheless:

17 Nov: WSOC TV: Jim Bradley: Gov. Pat McCrory protesting vote counts in 50 counties
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Gov. Pat McCrory’s campaign said his attorneys are now protesting vote counts in 50 counties.
“Now we know why Roy Cooper fought so hard against voter ID and other efforts to combat voter fraud as attorney general,” said Russell Peck, McCrory’s campaign manager. “With each passing day, we discover more and more cases of voting fraud and irregularities. We intend to make sure that every vote is properly counted and serious voter fraud concerns are addressed before the results of the election can be determined.”North Carolina voters are no closer to knowing who the next governor will be 10 days after election night.
Meanwhile, Democrat Roy Cooper’s lead of 5,785 votes still has to stand up to new counts of absentee and provisional ballots that weren’t included in the election night total.
At the same time, McCrory’s campaign is now challenging votes in a dozen counties and several counties have asked for extra time to certify their final tallies…
The result is that it will likely be after Thanksgiving, and even into early December before the governor’s race is officially called.
That presents problems for Cooper, even as he calls himself governor-elect…
    http://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/undecided-gubernatorial-race-presents-problems-for-candidates/468201866

17 Nov: Protests filed in Bladen and 11 other counties over alleged fraudulent absentee ballots
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Formal protests are now being filed in 11 additional counties to challenge potentially fraudulent absentee ballots cast for Roy Cooper and other Democrats, according to Governor Pat McCrory’s campaign.
A formal protest was filed with the Bladen County Board of Elections to challenge several hundred absentee ballots, alleged to be fraudulent on Tuesday.
The initial evidence laid out in the protest suggests a “massive scheme to run an absentee ballot mill involving hundreds of ballots, perpetrated by and through the Bladen County Improvement Association PAC,” a political-action committee funded by the N.C. Democrat Party and other prominent statewide Democrats.
In addition to funneling money to the Bladen County Improvement Association PAC, the North Democratic Party also transferred money to political action committees in 11 counties…
According to the McCrory campaign, the protest, filed by Bladen County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor McCrae Dowless and corroborated by a forensic handwriting expert, notes “shocking evidence resulting from a blatant scheme to try to impact the voting results of an entire county and perhaps even sway statewide and federal elections,” including the gubernatorial race…MORE DETAILS

This link is to Jonathan Pie satirically calling out the Democrats. It is excellent – lots of f’s and b’s but very funny on how the left caused this

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nQIcjnMFQo

On the media totally missing this, after the election, the BBC’s New York correspondent wrote a piece saying that Trump voters were either white supremacists, KKK supporters, confederate flag wavers or ultra right wing because they use Breitbart for news or comment. Ha ha. Does that mean the 27% of Hispanic women who voted Trump are Hispanic supremacists or associate members of the local white supremacy movement?

2 other articles written by women (0ne a green NZ MP) claimed they had been working hard for inclusive societies. They then both complained about women voting Trump. So inclusive as long as you don’t have a different opinion.

Google is putting it’s thumb on the scale with their “fake news” action. It really is a sign of desperation from the left. If I were the Trump team I would leak all headline news to sources like Breitbart and let the old media have to quote them for their news. That will perhaps make Google reconsider it’s “fake news” list which is nothing more than a censorship tactic.

How to beat the left. This former US Army SF soldier thinks that this is a war for the Republic and the tactics to win this political war are not much different than those used in a shooting war. So here is the way I would play it:

You take advantage of weakness and the democrats and their MSM are weaker and more off balance than I’ve ever seen them. On a national level the Democrats are the weakest they’ve been since the late 1920’s as far as elected offices held. This is some what counterbalanced by the fact that the left holds a dominating majority in the bureaucracy. However at the state level the democrats have not been this weak since the immediate post civil war era. Only Democrats have fewer governors and hold fewer seats in the state legislatures than they have since anyone that will read this has been alive. Only in five states do democrats hold the governorship and majorities in the legislatures. The bottom line here is that the democrat party and the leftist have no grass roots. They have no foundation and are a house of cards.

In a nut shell direct assault from every direction to overwhelm the enemy,  And to be absolutely clear the enemy is the leftist democrats and their press.  A key principle in any offensive or assault is speed in execution and violence of action.  Keep the enemy on their heals so they don’t have a chance to form an organized defense, or coordinate effective counter offensive actions.

Make so much crap hit the fan so fast and in such a persistent heavy flow in every department of the administration and in the legislature that they can’t come close to handling it all.
    .
What does Trump have to lose? They will be screaming and kicking about everything he does in any sphere anyway! What are they going to do? Organize and publicize more riots? Beat up more Trump supporters? Tell us more about how stupid, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, and xenophobic that Trump supporters and those he appoints are? Scream more about how Trump is a dangerous maniac?

What I’m talking about is a general offensive on all fronts using maximum supporting forces all at once!  Giving them time to analyze and coordinate is exactly what you don’t want to allow them to do.  Keep them on their heals. Bum rush the press bums like they’ve never seen it. Keep them in the dark and let them find out what is going on when it happens and when it happens make it happen hard and fast and on every issue possible at one time so they simply can’t cover it all and set the narrative on everything as they are won’t to do. Make them prioritize the battles they will really fight based on their limited resources of print space and air time. Make so much happen at once that they don’t have time to get their narrative together and simply do not have time to use their Alinsky tactics on any event or person that is not deemed to be the absolutely most critical and even then it will take them time to figure out exactly where and how to fight the changes or threats.  Make them fill their echo chamber with so much at one time that it becomes a dysfunctional incoherent mess that is a detriment and not an asset. The more they hyperventilate about the whole mass of things at the same time the better it is for us because their cred keeps sliding the more they scream.

Conservatives have a unique and never before seen opportunity here because this Trump administration is completely outside any experience the press, the democrats, and the DC establishment has ever had to deal with.

Australian PM is put in his place by leader of the Alliance.

‘Turnbull had the call on speaker. On good report, everyone in the room was surprised when Greg Norman answered the mobile number. Mr Norman patched the call through to President-elect Trump who was not rude but made it plain in telling Turnbull what the new rules were and that Trump would be using Greg Norman as a filter as he would be very busy.

‘It is important and very interesting that President-elect Trump is said to have said, “Let’s start by you getting your navy up here to take part in Freedom of Navigation patrols, then we can talk about our relationship.”

‘Apparently Turnbull was somewhat nonplussed and said, “Well, we need to discuss climate change and the TPP…” Trump peremptorily dismissed both issues with “Not a priority, but talk to Greg. He is a great Aussie who has been part of my team for 30-years and he is the advisor I trust.”

‘It was a shock to Turnbull to engage with someone who didn’t want to hear his waffle, as most in this country do far too politely.’

I hope one of Trumps kids starts Trump News and puts the clowns at CNN out of business .
The $2 billion wasted on the NASA climate adjusters will be better spent fixing pot holes and
they shouldn’t fire NASA climate modellers until they have had an audit by third party scientists.
It is time the scientific method is restored.
